Why don't U think of a more honeymoony place than Lag? There are better places for newly wed couples in Naija to enjoy a fuller experience than Lag. At the end of the day it al depends on what U both want. The trill and rush of fun in Lag or the peace, quiet and serenity of some other destinations.

There is no law, written or unwritten that says a girl must be polite in turning down a guy. There is a time for everything. Unless the guy has psychological issues, we generally are known to go where we are welcome when it's good we seek.

Guys sha need to start taking no for no and girls have to start meaning no when they mean no, by mind body and soul. If the three of U agree there can be no wrong message communicated to the world outside.

Love is not dead. People don not just understand what love is and base it too much on feelings.

Love is a trinity. Agape, Phileo, and Eros; in that decreasing order of hieirarchy. U must first understand the Love of God for man, then the love of family, before erotic/sensual love, and having understood them, U must then weave the three together to get the best of love. A threefold chord is not easily broken.

The process of transition from the ideal to the real and then possibly finding that equilibrium mid-point between ideal and real is like polishing diamonds or forging and finishing steel. Love that will survive and be sweet to both parties must find that equilibrium point.

The frictions of being together and the process of forging two into one entity requires being proactive. Balancing head and heart in the equations of love by 50/50 or something as close to that as possible within both parties.

The ideal says "go in without caution." The real says "stay on top of things and know when to "regulate supply and demand."

The former is self-less but exposes the lover to higher possibilities of hurt. The thrill of it is raw and overwhelming when the going is good; the backlash of rough times can be very disturbing.It is a risk taker and will either be backed by faith or inspired by fear. Better by faith.

The later is cautious and calculative and provides some security against extreme hurting. It's not as interesting but is more secure.

Finding the balance between these two provides either or both parties with the best love has to offer.

Don't go it one way, go it both ways and the fights wont be as nerve wrecking or frequent when Ur together and U will be able to long for the persons presence in a way healthy enough to go about living Ur life in joys and happiness and peace.

At the end of the day, it's not where U find love first that matters but where U find peace first. listen to the voice in Ur head when ur heart is alive.

IMHO no you shouldnt, but if you want to then go ahead!
there are many reasons why this move would be wrong:

- if you pay, you will believe that she is yours and if she ever cancel wedding plans. wahala will take over.
- the money will be the toughest bound rather than love/care for one another.
- if you already start your "union" by paying then be ready to do that ALL YOUR LIFE.
- what kind of example will that set? what would she have done if you had not proposed? now her parents can just stop providing for her and let YOU pay for everything.
- unless you are wealthy, spending money meant for wedding and the start of your married life on her is a big gamble. hopefully she wont dump you because you have no more money!
- if both of you are not READY to be married then proposing early and putting your self in hardship is wrong.

When a girl is truly committed she hardly is ever nice about turning down another guy irrespective of who he is. It's so obvious with such ladies sometimes before U even say "hi" that U just know it before U even think of saying more. I'm not talking about being all over the guy. I mean even if the guy went outer space for a week, she'd still be evidently off the market.

Girls these days get as dem be sha. Most of them they behave like wicked boys. Makes me wonder why when a girl decides to behave like a boy she never chooses to behave like a good boy.
