Why not call the members of ASUU at Aso Rock and have a talk with them...He may even discover some things from them that his minsters never told him before now! |

My simple question is why are some folks including the OP so bothered and worried about the performance of Labour Party since they know the party have no structure or will not win the presidential election? Why create a thread simply to belittle LP just because your party(that have also failed Nigeria in the past) managed to win a sitting governor of a ruling party forgetting there are several reasons why APC was rejected by the people of osun state? Allow citizens of Nigeria to at least have an option aside APC and PDP that have consistently failed the country on various occasions! See OP...If you are not aware, let me say this to you for free....You are automatically and indirectly advertising LP as a viable option or a beautiful bride to the average Nigerian without knowing and you are doing so free of charge while you indirectly demarket your own party by not consistently mentioning them! The more you keep creating threads about the inability of LP to win the general election, the more people will queue behind that party come 2023! Keep talking about them while giving them free publicity! For your info...I'm not a member of any party! |

famology: From your analogy, i am obviously a baby in Nigeria politics. I'll stop here for now. May God keep us alive to see the results of the elections in 2023.
A quick one, you're comparing the almagation of parties that formed the Apc to a witless labour party? Really? Do you know how many governors, senators, rep members former governors and deputies, several political heavy weights that came together to form the Apc? Are you this ignorant? Mtcheeew........the likes of Acn,anpp,Apga, cpc came into that merger with sitting governors and the new pdp came with more governors.
How many governors, senators rep members etc does labour party have? I will Keep chasing shadows. You are seriously wasting your time spewing normal thrash that will be expected of your kind which i find amusing! I will reiterate on my earlier point incase the message wasn't properly received or you are having a problem comprehending simple english... You have stated explicitly that you are here to catch cruise and vote who you believe will win....I am also here to give my honest opinion about LP.....Unfortunately,you seem to be having sleepless nights over the mentioning of LP which is odd! Shey you said they are inconsequential then why are you so bothered to the point of writing an epistle for me? I be LP chairman? Whether you tag me a baby in politics that chases shadows is inconsequential and doesn't change the fact that you should mind your business and allow others air their opinion and vote in who they want just like you! Comprendo or should i seek Google's permission to translate to your own local dialect for easy assimilation? |

famology: Labour party can't win it now bro. Nigeria brand of politics no be beans oo. As for the preparation, it's the duty of the party to prepare not mine. Mine is to make noise here and go cast my vote on that day. Shikena! Its not your call to predict what will happen in the future! Who would have thought that PDP despite their popularity for 16 years would lose to a party that was recently formed in 2014! Your utterances would imply that you are terrified about their emergence which is very surprising and humorous considering you do not fancy them! Whether LP stand a chance to win or not should be the least of your concern! My own is stop getting worked up about LP and focus on who you want to vote! Simple! |

famology: I'm not a party person. I pick candidates. I'm supporting Tinubu for president, LP candidate in my senatorial district and pdp candidate for my house of representatives. It's my right to pick my choice, you can pick yours too. It's not a war, it's democracy. You have no reason to get defensive nah! Like i said you should be more concerned about your party's preparation for the upcoming general election rather bothering your mind about the emergence of LP that most of you regard as nonexistent and inconsequential unless you see them as an eminent threat! |

Truthisunique2: it all comes back to the structure we keep telling una
Lp don't even have agent in over 95% of the polling units
They get zero is most cases, you don't wake up overnight and say you would win presidency like that Next time ask which party i support before recklessly concluding! I gave an honest reply to what LP is facing in osun state and what they can do to gain decent votes from states where they are unknown! Besides,it would be perplexing if the sudden prominence of LP due to peter Obi as presidential flagbearer would automatically reflect on today's result in osun! Whether they have structures or not should be the least of any party's concern unless their sudden emergence is a seeming threat to your principal financer! |

I said here on nairaland last week that LP cannot have 1000 votes in Osun somebody dey tackle me say dem go get 50K. I just laugh... noise nor be vote o.....most LP supporters have no PVC and about half of them live overseas Truth be told,LP gained a sudden prominence as soon as Peter Obi became Presidential flagbearer! Before now,no one knew LP as a party...not even in Osun state! This election in osun state has been known to be between PDP and APC...Thats why they are miles ahead of the others! The party LP still have a lot of time to build on their popularity before the presidential elections! LP should not be taken for granted! |

But it is what it is… I also watched the debate! The guy is very sound and he has got policies that will change how people see osun state! However, poverty will definitely be weaponized by money bag politicians and the electorates will vote for the highest bidder! |
