FamilyRe: I Feel so Angry With My Husband. Help! by optimusprime2(m): 12:07am On Apr 04, 2016
Eddygourdo:
You marriage is very young and being that you never had the fine tuning phase during courtship. You both are having it now. Too bad he is pulling away while you are pulling closer and it's frustrating you.

You need to do the reverse affection method, pull away in character too. I don't mean emotionally, but it's a game to get his attention. Whenever he smiles at you frown and be disinterested though give him Wat he wants. Ignore him alot and give him the cold shoulders without it being very obvious. Continue thus till you have his attention and he starts asking you Wat the problem is.

Even when he asks, tell him nothing. Give him more cold shoulders and hide ur cheerfulness. This character if it drives him nuts then it's proof he loves you and was going through a phase

Give him more cold shoulders till he gets angry at ur behaviour and flips out. It only then that you table his offences to you. Hopefully you both would have a heart to heart talk and he would open up to you on what u is killing him

This is a fine tuning phase and if handled properly will pass, making ur marriage stronger
Gbam!

That was mine, when I visited Cairo about 3yrs ago.
TravelA Travellers Love Story... Share Your Experience by optimusprime2(op): 12:49pm On Mar 28, 2016
So many of you talk about; the flights, hotels scenery, landmarks and natural attractions food et al... But never actually share some Important detail about relocating to or visiting new destinations - "What?" you may ask me.... Yeah, I'll tell you; Love stories! You know, that moment you feel like Hugh Grant and you get the sleepless in Seattle vibe lol...
I will start with mine to let the ball roll.
So, I touched down in Cairo Egypt 2013 and I'm getting myself primed and obviously excited about getting to visit Pyramids and other places, was still at the airport sorting out myself when I saw this lady looking confused, she was trying to read something but was obviously having a rough time (OptimusPrime to the rescue) thing is she was definitely of Asian origin by looks, but what I was unsure of was if she spoke English esp if what she was trying to read was in English, but my knowledge of two other languages asides English made me confident as I walked towards her.
She looked at me and smiled as I asked her if she had any trouble, apparently she couldn't make out a form in Arabic, so she handed it to me lol (she spoke English) I didn't know a word either on the form lol, I started looking for someone who could read Arabic (all my heroics melted) well good fing we found someone who could.
Well the fing is, after the whole form saga, I chatted with this lady for 11hrs! she was definitely interesting and she found me likewise, well I forgot myself and my purpose for good 11hrs lol! She wasn't a stunner or siren, she was just a regular girl from the Philippines standing at 5'2 or so, had her hair in a bun, but I fell flat for her intellectual beauty and a 10000gigawatt smile, apparently, she kept getting red in the face because after a while she said she thought I was really cute... Ok the sad part of my travel love story was, she had a layover and before we knew it, it was time for her to catch her flight... I got no number, no social network account, no contact, Natin! Chai... Was just lost in a seemingly complicated web of flirtatious, admiration for 11 good hrs like a teenager... Well I got a kiss though (Free) that further confused my reasoning lol! By the time I realized I was in Cairo not Paris, I wondered if my village people were at work lol!
Anyway that was my Cairo love story, you guys must share yours o!
@Justwise, worry359, Vicjustice ... All of you who have been places, share those experiences where there was... You know, something of the sort.

Ehiscotch:
Mikel hung on to the ball too long. Ihenacho was giving Ighalo much support up front, he seemed to have been lost in transit, as a no.10 you need to be a second striker when attacking as well as a playmaker, it is not easy for a "19-year old" but he has to try.
But you know that's Mikel's normal game play, his job is to hold on to the ball so others reposition.
He has been wired to play that way (Blame Mourinho for that), that's like saying "Ronaldo always fancies shooting rather than passing once he's in front of goal" abeg make we manage the Mikel as im dey, apparently he had a good game - so I won't complain. ... Yet.

Jarus i totally disagree with ur rating for most of d starting 11.

Carl Ikeme deserves more than ur rating.I rate him 7/10
Ambrose did better than what u rated him. I give him 6/10.
Obaobona though was nt much involved bt he hardly did anything wrong. a 5/10 would have done for him.
Simon Moses was really d best player on d pitch today u gave him 5/10?. I rate him 7.5/10
My brother just be grateful about the defensive midfield that covered up the defense, otherwise it's 0.5 you would have rated Ambrose... With all his experience, I find it hard to believe that he played like it was his 2nd professional match, it was clear to see the defense were not in form.
Bro please watch that match again, Jarus was even generous to give the defense 4 ratings.
In all, I think midfield and attacking players need to play more with themselves as they lacked play chemistry.
Musa clearly lacked form.
Simon Moses was good no doubt about that, but on an individual note. Football is about team work not individual performance, for that reason I'd rate him a 5, I fink he needs to play more with this team to develop a connection, once again Jarus rating was just fine for him.

Take it from me, if you must go to Switzerland, go somewhere else in Europe Which is easier, say; Austria or Hungary then later go your Swiss route, otherwise directly moving to Switzerland as an Immigrant is very difficult. Be prepared to also marry a Swiss chic, and I hope you are good looking enough for that kinda feat.
Sorry to burst your bubble bro, but Switzerland is one of the Hardest countries to immigrate to in the EU from a third world country.

The government does not need to take Ubah up on any nonsense offer. He is a Nigerian elite, he has access to the Presidency, NASS, CBN, media houses, etc. Let him vomit what he has to offer. Why does he need to be consulted before he offers suggestion to help his country in crisis?
He needs to, because should incase he decides to lets say; offload a cash bulk amount of 10 million $ from a foreign account that he owns, and intends to cart it into the country as part of an economic strategy to resuscitate the nations economy, he would need diplomatic immunity from the Federal gov't in order to cross borders without issues.
That's why he needs the Governments approval as it would involve the Executive, legislative and Judicial approval...

The exchange rate (PRICE of dollars) is determined primarily by SUPPLY of dollars (through exports, FDIs, foreign borrowing, etc) and DEMAND for dollars (through imports, payments of foreign school fees/medical bills, online purchases, etc). The NET flow of these transactions determine the Balance of Payments (BOP) account with the Central Bank. Elementary economics tells us that when demand exceeds supply, prices go up!
---
Coming back to Nigeria, it is well known that oil accounts for 95% of our FX earnings. As oil prices have collapsed from ~$100 in 2014 to ~$30, our supply of dollars has dropped tremendously. This is even worse when one considers that our cost of oil production is ~$20/bbl, meaning that our dollar revenue from oil has dropped from ~$80/bbl to ~$10/bbl. On the demand side, the request for imports are increasing. With such supply shock and increasing demand, there is only one way for the exchange rate to go. This is basic economics and has nothing to do with Emefiele or Buhari, except you are simply being mischievous or grossly ignorant.
---
When oil collapsed from around $147 to $38 due to the 2008 Global Financial Crisis (GFC), Nigeria had a Foreign Reserve of ~$62bn. The then CBN Governor had to spend ~$20bn from the Reserves to meet import demand thereby preventing devaluation/depreciation. Between 2011 & 2014, oil price was above $100, meaning that the administration never had a dollar supply problem and so could maintain a stable exchange rate. Fast forward to late 2014 when oil prices slid to ~$60, the CBN had to devalue the Naira twice within a period of 6 months (Nov 2014 & Feb 2015) because the Reserves were too low (<$35bn) to deplete to support imports. Now in 2016, oil prices are around $30/bbl while FX Reserves is less than $28bn. The supply shock has reached unprecedented levels, yet demand for imports has not decreased. There is absolutely no way that the exchange rate can stay below N250/$. Simple economics says that price will continue to move till a new equilibrium is reached where demand equates supply.
---
There is no policy from Emefiele, Soludo, Greenspan, Bernanke or any other Central Bank governor that can strengthen the Naira in the near term. Except we want to completely deplete the Reserves or go to the IMF to borrow SDRs just to meet import demands. Brace up folks, if oil price collapses to $20 (thereby increasing the supply shock) the exchange rate shall hit N1000/$ and I repeat, this has nothing to do with Emefiele or Buhari but simply economic forces. The only thing that can save the Naira is either for SUPPLY of dollars to increase (through high oil price) or DEMAND to reduce. Since we do not have control over the supply side, we can at least focus on managing the demand side.
---
So Mr Ifeanyi Ubah, you have zero knowledge on what you are talking about. With all the money you made from the last government, you can start by building a refinery or some other manufacturing facility (like Dangote) to help us substitute for imports. That would help the Naira more than you seeking cheap consultancy from the government. Or except you want to broker a deal for the government to give amnesty to your Dasuki-Gate friends, so they can bring out stashed up dollars from soakaways and graveyards to support the economy.
My brother, you just highlighted that this exchange problem is as a result of dollar scarcity in the country at large...
What if Dr Uba has about 100 million or 1 billion $ raw Cash stashed in a vault somewhere, and willingly injects it into the economy by directly exchanging it for naira at a pegged 199 exchange rate at CBN... Do you know that could temporarily drop the rate on the parallel market in a very sharp manner, afterall it's an artificial effect caused by the simple law of demand and supply. Don't forget the official Forex rate for the dollar to Naira is 199... Dr Uba might be making a point you know.
I mean it's not rocket science.

actually if I were interested in curbing population growth among these countries, I will focus on the population increment rate of such countries, and even at that Brazil still is a viable candidate, Nigeria and India are also viable candidates but China isn't really one, as they have a declining population.
The countries with an increasing Population rate are India, Pakistan, US, and Nigeria.
and by 2050 these countries I mentioned would be amongst the top 5, Brazil's population though large remains almost unchanged by 2050 as the projected population according to UN stats is 226 Million, which isn't surprising because of Brazils size, but it's growth is almost static.
Now my point is, if some individual has the intelligence and funding to create genetically engineered darts aimed at population control, Why Brazil?? It still doesn't make sense.

Brazil has a population of 250million, are you dumb or stupid?.
Let me give you a little lecture on demographics and Global population, because it seems you just feel like insulting me.
Now Brazils population is about 200.8 Million and they have a low migration index globally.
Compared to China and India that each have a population of over 1 billion, now asides the fact that these figures are staggering for India and China, these countries have a high migration index globally of over 70%, now that's where Nigeria comes in, Nigeria has a global migration index of 84% (Nigerians are everywhere).
Now if someone is concerned about curbing global population, which country would it make sense to hit with a population controlling Virus?

I am sorry, but if you are looking at Norway, Germany or most countries in Europe, you "MUST" block a specific amount of funds in an account before you are issued a visa, whether you are on scholarship or not. It's a requirement to be fulfilled to assure that you won't constitute a burden to any welfare at least for the duration of your first year of stay.
So please keep funds down, or forget about Europe.
Try Canada or USA, as they won't ask you to block funds.

When one considers the number of Nigerians abroad, 100,000 represents a small portion; probably 5% of Nigerians living outside. So, they are probably not doing badly when compared to those living within the country.
Just like the Indians, and Chinese... Check the world population/immigration index.
For a country with a demographic ratio as Nigeria, immigration statistics are pretty average as compared to India or China.

Well, not like I would say Namibia is the best of places to relocate to in Africa on a long term basis, especially when compared to other African countries within Namibia's Geographic Radius,
But if you stayed there long enough to Naturalize, Namibian Citizenship is not a bad Idea, as their passport can get you places e.g Canada, Brazil and UK would Grant you Visa's upon entry for 6months... Now that's pretty decent just that... Namibian constitution does not permit dual citizenry.
