There has been numerous documented cases of blatant racism shown to Africans by the Asian, no anime will change that.

And the white worshippers isn't limited to Africans. South Koreans are even worse. in India, dark skinned folks are legit segregated. It's everywhere .
heck, even the Japanese make a lot of references to Brittania, N. America and Europe

i disagree with you on that....

it doesnt matter....

we already have movies of princeses in nollywood...we dont need whites for anything....
Mate, our Nollywood "princesses" stories are one dimensional, boring and to be honest, totally shyte.
Entertainment isn't about "needing" anyone or anything. it's for fun

will Disney's movie be more interesting than Nollywood's "princesses"? I'll bet my nonexistent billions that the answer will be a solid yes
Christianity EtcRe: Religion Or Science? by Outofsync(m): 10:24am On Jul 29, 2018
NPComplete:
Anybody that believes in God should believe in science. Science is the tool God uses to continually perfect his creation. Not religion. Not Christianity.

Like all the other works of God, science produces consistent result to a very high probability. Just as u don't need to be a Christian or Muslim to benefit from rain, you don't need to be either or to have any faith to benefit from science. What works for the majority will very likely work for you. Any system that requires having a special faith or visiting a special pastor cannot be of God.

Just like we the creatures of God continually evolve, so does knowledge of science. Forever growing into something more and more practical and beneficial. But relgious knowlede is stagnant, stagnating or even retrogressive. Given the evidence, we know that which is more useful between science and religion.

Though I acknowledge the usefulness of religion in this day and age especially considering the high number of subhumans whose primitive instincts are being suppressed by their devotion to religion (and there is a lot of evidence for these kinds of people among Nairaland Christians), in the long run, science is preferable to religion.
Reasonable conclusion but I disagree when you say Religious knowledge is stagnant because Religion, like other social concept, evolve with the times and what was once taken to be literal suddenly gets reinterpreted metaphorically (once evidence discrediting comes to light), and then they say "A-ha! we were right all along" grin

The question the OP is posing is redundant though, You can't have humans without having religion. it is impossible. Religion is the mystery of the unknown, the reason behind unreasonable incidents, the opium in a world filled with pain.
And without science, we'd have been dead already.

it's like saying "If you had to choose to between your heart and your brain, which would you choose"

better let asians do it...asians still have respect for you somehow...

dont allow whites to do anything for you....

or even better do it yourself....

btw....we already have african princeses movies in nollywood.....we dont need disney for that......
Asians are even worse racists bruh. but that's not even the point .

The point is that the movie production should have been indigenous so as to boost our global reputation. Japanese Animes are watched globally, Indian drama is mainstream, even the Koreans has entered the game with K Pop.

Yet here we are....watching Marvel and Disney take over what we should utilize....
and some folks are proud of it

Christianity EtcRe: God's Love Might Not Always Be Pleasurable. See Why by Outofsync(m): 10:09am On Jul 29, 2018
Someone might be thinking, since I am born again, why am I still passing through some difficulties and trials? This can still be as a result of God’s love. We think as humans and all we want is pleasure here on earth, but what God want for us is pleasure here and eternity. He trains and disciplines us through trials and difficulties in other so we can come out strong and when He eventually gives us all our need here on earth, our focus will not deviate from Him.
It's quotes like this that make me almost doubt religion....

Atikusadvocate:
Impressive, but from my experience, these type of people never make it much in life. They have the potentials to be great but a mixture of religious fanaticism, superstitious nonesense and bullshit from the parents never let them progress beyond praying frequently, textbook reading and memorization. Then they will end up going to medical school where they become normal students and later a regular, poorly paid Nigerian doctor.

My advice to you is as follows

- Go abroad for your studies and study what you love.
- Try to learn, not memorize for scores.
- God may exist, but religion is fake. He can neither be moved by worship nor prayers.
- Prayers does not work. It only works in our imagination.
- Avoid prayer warriors, pastors etc. They will doom you. I am already sorry for you if your parents are such people.
- Party moderately, drink mildly, avoid drugs, keep one sexual partner and use condoms.
- Explore your sexuality and get a well behaved partner as soon as you are in university.
- never gamble until you are 30 and even then, do it for fun not to get rich.
- Explore your sport and artistic talents. Success is not only found in books.
Wise you are

GiantParrot:
I do not think the author says racism is okay. Racism is definitely not okay! But it already exists. Human beings are prejudiced. What could be our most effective weapon against this problem of racism that already exists? The author's solution is that we should put our house in order.

If your house is not in order you will have a bad reputation. There is no running away from that. People are prejudiced and will keep looking out for reasons to justify their prejudice. Our notoriety for corruption and lawlessness gives the prejudiced the justification they seek, and frankly makes some of those non-racists who are higher on the anxiousness scale to make racist-looking decisions that to them feel rational for their safety.

Put your house in order and people will have little choice but to respect you more. Will that end racism? Probably not. Will that reduce racism? Very likely. Most importantly, will the lives of the members of your household improve? Most definitely.
The Gospel truth!

We Here in Africa are yet to experience a serious enough existential threat. That is the only thing that keeps people together, the fear of being wiped out of existence. The corrupt still hold sway in power and the rich stay richer by feeding off the poor. The government becomes more corrupt and richer at the expense of the people.

They are very comfortable doing so. They can rub it in our faces while we applaud them. It sickens me and it should to any other reasonable thinking African. I am not generalizing because i already know people on this faceless forum would come and still say not everyone is as how i described when they very damn know well where i am headed.
You know, this is very true! A glance at other developed societies in the world actually shows that their developments came in times of great tribulations : The Viking invasions was what unified England, World War II brought Human Rights declarations, the Capitalist- Communism war brought China together. It seems as though we need a life or death situation to shake people out of their lethargy and rationalised justification of their daily suffering through religion, and actually demand for the basic things of life. In the peaceful water, bad eggs are floating to the top. we need an overturn, a revolution.

But alas, this is Nigeria, this is Africa. A country where nothing works and we're used to it.

blessedvisky:
How do you know it was not under a condition? Did you prepare the food with him/her? Do you know of the muslims intentions by that act? Have you ever heard of "Sarra"? It's done by Yoruba Muslims (I don't know if it is called another thing in mainstream Islam) Basically what happens in Sarra is that a Muslim with a problem (Barrenness, impotence, poverty, etc) buys Some food items, chants certain Quranic passages on the food, then prepares the food and shares it to NON-MUSLIMS living within his vicinity. At least one of the people who eat such food will either die or have the same problems transferred to him/her while the problems leave the muslim. Some of the rich ones throw really big celebration parties in order to share this food usually to children and young adults (coz they still have vigour) You have to stay woke bro. It's not just any food you eat oo. Things are happening all around
To be fair, its not a Muslim thing, it's a Yoruba thing. I know Celestial folks who do the same.
I know of Christian folks who throw extravagant parties just for this purpose. If you want to be truly "woke", don't limit it to one religion
