I so looooove the way she dresses and accesorizes. I think she understands her body and I don't think that black and red dress was a total miss. The dress fits her body type but the pattern would be a miss for anybody.

mildie:
HI
I was surprised by your post because i received a package today from the USA i had been expecting to arrive around today or tomorrow as the company said 6- 10 days. Anyway i received a letter a sort of slip at home that told me to come to the post office that i had an urgent package. I went there and was told to pay the N250 charge on the slip. i paid it and went round the back and collected my package.

Well i guess maybe it was also a partial fault of the company that sent you the package they did not specify a means of collection. Anyway Sorry for your loss.
First of all Mildie you are not supposed to pay to pick up. That was a scam. As for me we sent a box of ovulation kits to my in law in Nigeria and all they received was an empty box. Why someone would steal ovulation kits is beyond me

Family › Re: She Is Pregnant For Him After All The Atrocities by Outstrip(f): 5:22pm On Apr 28, 2009
I just find it hard to believe that this woman is so terrible but even after marrying another wife he still went back to her. Are you sure you (his family) did not get too involved in his first marriage and caused problemshuh? I am just asking. So far the atrocities you mentioned was fighting with her in laws not that she did not support him as a wife or did not raise the children well or maybe she was unfaithful. It seems the focus is on what she dd to your people
Family › Re: Is It Immoral To Let Your Children Live At A Lower Standard Than You Do? by Outstrip(f): 3:58am On Apr 28, 2009
okay so we are all basically having two different arguments here. I see your point about if children should end up being like Paris Hilton who is famous for nothing but her grandfathers name and is utterly useless versus a case where we have children in a family but they are not getting the basic necessities because the parents are seen as more important. These are two very different points but I see where you are coming from now

fionna a native doctor is pretty much a witch doctor. Please nobody should come in here and call them herbalists
Family › Re: Will You Divorce Him/her If: by Outstrip(f): 9:34pm On Apr 27, 2009
I might consider divorce for most of them. As for seeing a native doctor I will definitely divorce him for that and try my best to keep my children away from him
Family › Re: She Is Pregnant For Him After All The Atrocities by Outstrip(f): 9:30pm On Apr 27, 2009
I don't see anything wrong with her getting thugs to beat up your brother after he hit her. That one is just do me I do you back God no go vex. The one I cannot comprehend is that she beat up your mother. You brother is crazy for going back to her after something like that. Unless of course he is feeling guilty. He failed in the first marriage and now he has already failed in marriage number two.
Family › Re: Is It Immoral To Let Your Children Live At A Lower Standard Than You Do? by Outstrip(f): 9:26pm On Apr 27, 2009
If your children live with you and eat what you eat how can they live at a lower standard than you. You would have to work extremely hard for them to live at a lower standard. I know it happens in Nigeria though. I have gone to people's homes where children are hungry but mummy has to serve daddy's food first and it is usually a different dish from what the children will eat or when there is one car in the family but dad will drive off to work and the children will have to ride Okada to school and put their lives at rist. When dad should be the one taking the okada and letting mom use the car to get the kids safely to school. I personally cannot do that. It is child abuse in my opinion.

I went to the grocery shop today and did some serious shopping. I have two children I cannot take any chances. Even if we have to lock ourselves in doors for 3 months, we have enough food and first aid to wait it out. There is one reported case in my state right now so I am just being cautious. For those mother's that go grocery shopping with your kids please wipe the cart handle before you put your babies in it.

If she refuses to let her partners know that she is HIV positive then you need to tell them that she might be and if she continues to sleep with people and putting them at risk then you need to alert the authorities. Friend or no friend this is plain evil

Family › Re: What Method Was Used To Wake You From Sleep? by Outstrip(f): 5:34pm On Apr 25, 2009
LOL @ waking a child up with a slap. I hope this is a joke please. My parents just told us to wake up and we woke up. There was nothing ceremonial about it. Most times it was a knock on the door and one of them saying it is time for morning devotion. During the summer with my cousins my aunty would wake us up by singing loudly in the living room and we would know it was time for morning devotion

It's no different from a condom as far as birth control goes. I think anyone that has sex should be able to use it but I believe that minors should do it with parental consent
Family › Re: Should Her Husband Pound Yam For Her? by Outstrip(f): 5:28pm On Apr 25, 2009
Why not just buy her a yam pounder. I never saw my mom pound anything in her life. She had a yam pounder that boiled the yam and when it was boiled she turned the button and it pounded the yam. 2009 and we still talking about this?
Health › Re: Any Cure For Stammering? by Outstrip(f): 5:17pm On Apr 25, 2009
With therapy you can learn to control it and if it was not too bad in the first place you can teach yourself to overcome it. My brother and my dad both are but you would not even know. My dad is also a minister so he preaches both here in the US and in Nigeria. Unless you really are around him you would not know. My older sister was really bad with it but she stopped on her own when she was a toddler and I seem to do it too when I am frustrated or angry but it is very rare that I get that angry. Just don't hold it in.

Abuse is abuse and it does not matter who it is coming from. I think verbal and emotional abuse can cut even deeper than the physical abuse though a physically abusive person is 99% of the time also emotionally abusive. I don't think anyone should accept it as their fate. I would not want my brother to accept that from anybody. His sound mind is just as important as any woman's

Crime › Re: Murderer's Husband To Sue Police For Photographing Murderer Without A Hijab by Outstrip(f): 5:39am On Apr 22, 2009
Looking at the picture though I am wondering if she is just wearing a camisole. Did they make her take off anymore clothes than she needed to take off. You can see she is trying to cover her body with her hands. If he face was all that was needed for the mug shot then her shoulders need not be exposed. I hate to see her get away with it but this is America. I hope the police don't blow this one too because they got too emotional
Crime › Re: Murderer's Husband To Sue Police For Photographing Murderer Without A Hijab by Outstrip(f): 5:06am On Apr 22, 2009
OgidiBoy:
In the article it says a matron was with her all the time her picture was taken so the police knew it was against her culture to have her picture taken without the covering thing, so they should never have released her picture to the news media.

Please who ever is reading what I'm posting don't prosecute me. I've seem the ACLU take on very strange cases her in the states and I won't be surprised if you see them come out tomorrow and sue the police for violating this woman's civil rights.

You can never loss your civil right as long as you legal, even someone on death row can not loss their civil rights.

Oh the lady in the article was accused not convicted big difference.
That mug shot is public records. Anybody can get it. As to weather the civil rights groups will make a big deal about it? Yes some idiot probably will.

frijos:
Isn't it suspicious that everyone is saying no they'll never do that? na wah! i ain't gon' lie i've hit a woman before many times when i was growing up as a teenager and once when i had a woman in my life but i was swift to apologise and we make up with kissing, cuddling and then making sweet love. But why did i do it, man i hate it when i'm trying to turn an idea of a song into a real song and someone is bugging me i don't even wanna hear the buzzing of a fly talk less of my woman bugging me to come and cuddle her or tell her a story, now she understands me better, had it been i didn't take that action i'd have continued to burn inside unknowing to her and i swear i've explained it to her in a gentleman's way several times b4. Noone's perfect so what's the verdict people?
Let this be a warning to those of us raising young men today. I have sad it before and I will say it again. If he was beating up girls when he was 11 or 12 and when he was 17 or 18 then he will be an abuser. Thanks for confirming what I have always believed. Most of these people come from a home where there is a basic lack of proper training. Don't take it personal sha since I don't know your parents or what they taught you but people like you were just not raised right. That's the long and short of it

Iranoladun:
It is not right for the father to reject the corpse. Although, I'd advise the company to report the matter to the Police under the West native law & custom most parent see it as an abomination to partake in the burial of their children or to know the tomb. The company should endeavour to get Police report coroner report stating cause of death and death certificate; they should also try to persuade the parent to send a family representative who will handle the burial. The company only needs to pay the guy's entitlement, facilitate payment of his life insurance and pension entitlement to his legal representative. If the company has a union or HR policy they should try to comply with the spirit & letter of the provisions.
I am wondering if the same culture that says that parents should not bury their children will allow them accept the money from a life insurance policy. Mscheeeeeeeeeeeeew
