Tons ke Kg ni. The bad reviews is there is any are just a handful and it should be about "Mando S3" which btw has been fantastic so far,just came out this year. So man, it's not the bad reviews that making you not get into the Star Wars lore.

Bad reviews where? All the "Star wars material" circa Disney+ era have banged. Personally i think it was only "The Book of Boba Fett" I haven't liked so far, and even that had decent ratings. I guess you aren't a fan of the "Star wars universe" so i would understand but the universe is so vast with interesting characters and intricate plot lines still yet unexplored.

For Creed 3, I don't think it was more about the fights for the 2 leads. Their story and drama kind of overshadowed the fight.

Well for all, intent and purposes, if anyone hears "Creed", the person's mind immediately pictures a premise of brutal boxing overload. The drama could have been turned down a notch, as a couple of boxing bout 🥊 between the lead would have been a better use of thier individual star power. Not saying it's a bad movie tho, just a drop in quality of content served by the previous 2.

This fell below the standard of 1 and 2. The most criminal thing they did was allowing the main leads just one square up in the entire run.

I was so sure i was gonna wait till this finished airing to binge the entire final season, but mann, i couldn't hold it and the first 2 two episodes has reminded me again why this is probably one of my favorite shows ever...so so top tier 🌟.

It's a super duper piece of movie. The storytelling style is unique and superb. Mixing arcade gaming style with that of live action. The acting from Taron Edgerton and co was top notch. The score and set design was really good too.
Kudos has to be given to the director for this beautiful piece of art.
While the movie is fun and entertaining, it still has subtle themes of seriousness, bleakness and desperation within, especially when you consider the repression and economic downturns or negatives of the film's communist Russia ideals.

Went in with high expectations and came out never disappointed. Apple TV+ cooked here.

I was hooked from start to finish.

Next on my watch list. Appletv+ hardly misses with thier original movies.

I wanted more and they had the tools to give more, and the action to drama ratio was so much on the drama side.

I am not a fan of Korean Cinema, especially thier episodic lane as a find that they try to over tinker with the plot and screenplay leading to drawn out ridiculously long episodes that ultimately feels nauseating to complete but i occasionally dabble into thier movies and this had a good premise on paper and I decided to give it a try.

Touted as a "John Wick wannabe" but it was nothing like that famed franchise, a proper tease, pumped my juices up, only to leave me stewing in a pile of mess. it gave off that vibe for the first few sequence but ultimately spiraled out of control serving a rabid mother-daughter drama as the main course meal.

The screenplay was deviod of any logical reasoning and the character development was next to zero. It couldn't even settle on any theme, it was trying to be an action flick but there were like 3 action sequence in the entire movie, a dark comedy, a psychological thriller and mixed all these theme terribly. A good cast ngl, and they were definitely up for it, it was the crew behind the camera that messed up. The ebb and flow of the movie was so bad that they couldn't even settle for a villain and ending was plainly just vague and underwhelming.
The long run time of 2:19mins made for a nouseous and tedious watch in one sitting.

You can’t tell the difference between 4K and 1080p on mobile phone as long as mobile device screen size wouldn’t exceed 10 inches. The screen size is just too small to see any difference. You would need at least [b]32 inches tv [/b]screen to see any display difference between 4K and 1080p.

It’s something I have experimented with a neighbor when I got to know he downloaded the Tenet in 4K. We compared the differences on his iPhone 13 pro and we could hardly detect any. We only got to see the difference on his TV.

Even 32 inches TV is still too vague to fully enjoy 4K and that's why there are very few 4K 32 inches Tv in the Market. You need a 43 inches led 4K tv with HDR 10 and Dolby vision to fully enjoy 4K.

Well Iphone aren't really the benchmark for "4K" quality test as they have been using Retina display up until recently when they switched to Oled which are ironically made by Samsung. The Amoled panels used on Samsung's flagships are a beast, you can definitely tell the difference when viewing 4K content cuz they support HDR 10 and Dolby Vision.

Don't kid yourself. The "race card" utilmately plays a big role in these matters. Chris Brown's career trajectory took a different turn after the Rihanna fiasco, he lost gigs and opportunities and it was only his talents that saw/is still seeing him through.

Ezra Miller has a definite life line to appear in the DCU after the flash, if he "psychological pulls through" and DC will offer him all the "support" needed. I mean this man ran a "Sex Cult" and was involved in klepto escapades. A black man would have had his career dead and buried doing the least atrocity that Ezra Miller has been on for about 2 years now.

Streaming ONLY corporations are slowly pivoting towards traditional studio leanings.
This is somehow echoing the fact that streaming business is an expensive endeavour and you might not be profitable for years for upstarts.
I like how Amazon and Apple are pivoting towards this model. Only Netflix seems to be adamant and committed to the binge model (well it's been working for them).

I see Sony and A24 benefiting from this.

The Streaming business whilst been profitable has a whole set of problems that depletes profits. A blockbuster could get a "VOD" only release but like 100 people will see it with just one account via password sharing and believe it or not even "password hacking". Netflix tried to clamp down on it last year i think and they were met with fierce rebuttal.

So this move by Apple is a way to even the playing field a little. Pump money on prod for big titles, have a theatre only run for some time, make some money, release it on VOD and make more money. It's the only economically feasible way for streaming companies to compete with conventional production houses. Heck, i think the plan has been in motion for some time, cuz movies are now having shorter gaps between theatre releases and VOD, i mean, I don't think "Creed" III is barely in the cinemas for up to a month and is already available to stream as early as next week.

The COVID-19 lockdown saw a surge in streaming and Cinema entity has not fully regained thier balance since then, so i think these model suites all parties involve.

Funny enough, Netflix have been striking these kind of deals in recent years albeit in a small scale and low budget movies, the movie has a limited theatre run, then releases exclusively on thier platform to stream.

Horror is a great genre of movies.

Relax your teats harmano...Horror might be a great genre but it isn't my cup of tea as i have found them to be too generic over the years. Besides this God forsaken spit of land shows me horror mixed with a side of shègè daily, so i usually have my fill 👍.

Watching horror at home these days for me now somehow seems boring and hardly scary. I can't remember the last time I watched horror film and I was genuinely scared. 🙃🌚

lol i barely want to watch them at home because i have found the recent ones to be formulaic, it's like they have exhausted all ideas. you have to sieve through a load of crappy low budget one's before you can even find the one that is remotely good. I don't think it's a progressive genre, imagine they are still on about a "Evil Dead" reboot in 2023?!. Infact, they have to be mixed with some element of the thriller sub-genre for the suspense and excitement.
