SonofLothbrok: Its not a mind game. Open your eyes and face the reality in front of you. You still want to make the same mistake your father's made. They wouldn't pay workers, they borrow to enrich themselves. Minimum wage is N30,000. Presidency form is N100,000,000. Yet they find it hard to pay workers.
They all wine and dine together. They jump from party to party and you think they are not the same.
You should be thinking about your future and the future of your unborn generations. In a sane world these leaders would be put to death, but here you are planning on how to vote them in again. This mindset will also not change anything. Other countries that are working properly, it is the citizens that changed it. So, don't expect it to be different in Nigeria. |

Funny enough, hate filled alaigbos won't wonder why umahi is not supporting Peter Saint Obi.
They abused APC from 2014 till date now that PDP dealt with them, the tune changed.
Learn to stop abusing people that can help you. Acknowledge the Yorubas, the Hausas that opened their lands, cities and homes and gave you free hand to do business.. Let's face the fact, you know that the problem is the individual and not the region. Igbos, and indeed many Nigerians, prefer Osinbajo. Tinubu is too old to be the president of a multicultural society like Nigeria with its overwhelming issues. This forum is filled with so much hate for Igbos, but what do you say to Yorubas that don't want Tinubu? STOP THE NEPOTISM. IT WON'T TAKE YOU ANYWHERE!! |

All of you saying Rubbish about the Igbos, is it that you just choose to Ignore the level of marginalization or you are giving flimsy reasons for it to continue?
When Obasanjo was given the PDP Presidential ticket, what did he achieve to merit it?
There were so many prominent Igbos in PDP who were founding members. But everyone decided to give it to Obasanjo for progress and Unity of the country.
How about Yar adua?

Politics › Re: Igbos Should Start Telling Themselves Truth by pacesetting: 3:20pm On Jun 08, 2022 |
Vertraulichkeit: You and your likes don't get it. Igbos don't play politics of tribalism like other tribes, especially the South Westerns do. And the Igbos request for power isn't based on tribalism but natural justice. The natural justice in this regard is expected to be granted by other zones before the primary election proper, which didn't happen, and that is why the aspirants from the zone did not get good or block votes from the delegates. There is no need to waste a vote that cannot guarantee a winning when it can be used to support a winner or someone with more potential of winning.
The earlier you all accept that the Igbos are politically victimized for obvious reasons the better.
And yes, power is given and not taken in a clime like Nigeria which is the reason why the Northerns in APC have given the Southerns the opportunity.
Before you say that Igbos are emotional, remember that no Igbo man has exhibited the kind of emotion BAT exhibited at Ogun State, and rightly so, when he felt he was being denied his right.
Until the majority of the Nigerian power brokers decide to cede power to the Igbos, they won't get it no matter how hard the politicians try. In summary, the inability of the Igbos to clinch federal power has nothing to do with them being ignorant about how to play good politics.
I, OUK, and everyone in our camp saw it all before the primary election proper, which is the reason we took the stand we took, and we have no regrets. Aptly put!! |

Never feed a baby crocodile. It always does not end well. Both of you are wrong. No sane person will support the killing of anybody, whether they are civilians or soldiers. All the things happening all over Nigeria can be traced to the massive failure of government at all levels. In the North it is boko haram and bandits In the East it is UGM. UGM came after the government repeatedly failed to do the needful, which is to protect the lives of citizens. Over 50 people lost their lives just yesterday in the South West. When can Nigerians stop fighting themselves and look for a solution to the massive problems bedeviling them? |

Politics › Extend PVC Collection Deadline, Obi Support Groups Urge INEC by pacesetting(op): 5:40pm On Jun 03, 2022 |
Coalition for Peter Obi made up of 17 support groups on Friday warned the Independent National Electoral Commission against disenfranchising millions of Nigerians ahead of the 2023 general elections. The organization also called on the INEC to extend the deadline for collection of Permanent Voters Cards. The CPO which said it had embarked on a massive voter education campaign, supporting citizens to register and collect their PVC online and at various INEC offices, said “reports nationwide show that INEC lacked the capacity to register the millions of Nigerians, especially youths with complaints that Nigerians spend hours waiting to be captured”. The CPO in a statement by its Chairman, Marcel Ngogbehei, encouraged its members to embark on voter education, providing clear information on PVC registration and supporting the logistics to distribute millions of PVCs currently in INEC custody. He listed the various groups involved in the voters’ sensitisation exercise and asked the public to volunteer or support with money and logistics, adding that this is a collective task. Ngogbehei lamented the attitude of some INEC staff in various states, but also praised the dedication of its staff in many locations. He said, “CPO estimates that one INEC machine can only register 1 person in 10mins, an average of 900 persons per month. Therefore, a Local Government Area with two INEC machines can only register 1800 persons per month if operating at 100 per cent capacity, but with the present capacity, INEC needs four years of continuous voters’ registration exercise to capture the millions of eligible Nigerians. “Nigerians must be given the opportunity to freely express their civic rights at this critical time of our nation’s history. As a Coalition for Peter Obi’s presidential ambition, we have embarked on voter education, PVC registration and support logistics to distribute the PVC across the length and breadth of this country and calls on the public to support the various groups.” Ngogbehei listed the recognised Peter Obi Support Groups as follows: Peter Obi Support Network; Like Minds for Peter Obi; Nigeria Needs Peter Obi; TakeBackNaija; Women for Peter Obi; Associates of Peter Obi; Peter Obi FC; Peter Obi Movement for President and Peter Obi Candidacy Movement. Others are Peter Obi Ambassadors; Team OHO; Nigerian Diasporas for Peter Obi (USA); Peter Obi National Mandate; Peter Obi for Good Governance; YES Peter Obi Support Group; Peter Obi to the RESCUE Group and Nigeria Unites for Peter Obi.
