paulolee:Sometimes the luck can come from the fear that the opposition team have for you. If you are not prepared, you will miss your chances even if you are lucky enough to have them. |
I was expecting to see the singing accompanied by pakurumole dance , but anyhow they tried. |
Good to see Nigerians are not rushing to judge someone quickly. Nigerian security forces are capable of saying anything given their recent transgressions |
Namnam:If this statistic is real, then that means the future of Nigeria is bright. Religion is the opium of the masses and one of the key ressons people can keep submissive to their oppressive leaders for so long. Take religion out of the way and you will see more Nigerians using their heads to think rather than their faith |
Davido said over $600k was donated to him, that is more than N200m in equivalent in Naira. |
AdaSunshine:500k is cheap ![]() |
Two years is not too short for an event that people love so much, so why keeping them waiting for 4 years. Those that made world cup a 4-year event in 1930 might have changed their stance today given the worldwide acclaim it has achieved. I learn the African nation teams started paying in world cup only in late 1980s. We are in the age of information era where everything moves so fast, so 4 years is a lifetime for some people. |
Nice development, but I will advocate for bigger skyscrapers than these to address Nigeria's real estate shortage. We will get there |
Can't Nigerian women like this say two words without mentioning of sex. Sex, sex, sex, that is what they have got to offer, all thanks to Nigerian simp men who are funding this lifestyle for them. |
how many bridges will they paint if Nigeria is a working country like China ![]() |
But the price of crude has dropped back down below $80 to around $75 per barrel in recent days? |
Party after party and pretending as if all is well and good, but you can still see stresses on their faces especially among guys. Who is fooling who in this country? Boko Haram can kill one thousand people in a single day in the same Abuja, but it won't still stop party goers like these. |
Looks like an alien invasion, who remember the name of that film where aliens came to pick people up from the sky using their gigantic machine? |
In today's world, the worst thing you want to do for yourself is being around a black guy, especially, a Nigerian, they will sell you for a penny just for the sake of a woman. Even White guys are not these simps like Black these days. |
2elliot:But are the people ready for the savior, the truth is that there is little to what a one man can do in a grand scheme of things of a country. Nigeria is a lost cause not because the governments are bad, but becuase the people are bad. The last thing anyone wants to do in the current Nigeria is to stand on the side of the people against the government, because the people will throw you under the bus at any slightest moment. When Igboho started his Yoruba's nations agitation I was not in support of it and I was very vocal about it, I thought his fight against Fulani's herdsmen (which he was clearly winning then) was enough to earn him a hero status among Yoruba's. I thought he would fare better if he stood by restructuring instead of total balkanization of Nigeria, but his minions would always attack you when you mentioned restructuring. Today, all of them have deserted Igboho. The fact about Nigerians is the people who made the loudest noise are often the first to jump the ship when the ship is down. So you can't trust Nigerians and you have the reasons to think that way, so how can you fight for them? |
OneCandleAway:Na lazy mentality dey affect most Africans, they want quick rewards now even though it might affect their future gains which are way much bigger. Imagine giving out your natural resources for a cheap exchange with infrastructures which could wear down and become dilapidated in future. And I'm sure the Chinese are not dashing them the funds for the infrastructures, it is a loan which they will have to pay back in future. |
FutureIsFemale:N250m is to promote his single, promote the single to who exactly, the impoverished Nigerians or those who made donations to him without even buying his so called single? Davido fans will listen to his musics whether he promotes them or not, this charitable work by him does not seem to be getting international acclaim, so there won't be any saying that he is promoting to his international fan base. Haha Nigerians, no one can please you people . How much does he make from his single self.? |
Bring down the prices of those foods and watch them vanish in a few minutes. You increase the prices of your foods and still complaining of not selling The forces of demand and supply might come to play to push down the price soon. |
To be a husband of a joker toyin lawani is not easy ![]() |
If we are blaming Boko Haram, what about if the lady consents to the marriage ![]() |
Those self-entitled South Africans, they should be thanking Whites who built their country for them |
I don't pray cancer even for my enemy, that disease can tear down human flesh into shreds in short time. |
Finally, rest in peace |
, and Kanye West still dey call this woman his wife, Kim has moved on, Ye too should move |
Na joke people dey call this kind thing until it becomes real. Definitely he silently nursing the ambition. |
This question can put guys who are in this guy's age group in automatic depression, which one be too late for a 36 years old guy looking to settle down, even for a woman? There are many guys of your age who are not even looking to settle down in a foreseeable future. |
Can she come up with her numbers that are not fictitious |
HEAVEN4444:Maybe you can go and ask your father what the comprehension means because I can't be the one to give you home training that you apparently lack. Numskulls like you don't know a thing but refuse to listen to the words of wisdom. Since you came to this world to worship money, Davido has finally decided to donate the money to charity to the people who actually need it because he is wiser than you lots who think there is nothing wrong with people donating money to a rich guy. |
I don't know when people of the world will come to their senses that USA doesn't interfere in the internal affairs of any country for its sake rather than for USA's. Americans are not the saviors of the world, they only keep the world in order so as to maintain their American hegemony. If everything goes South for USA influence in the world, that is when you will see the true colour of Americans, and that is about to happen with the rise of China. Do you know what it means to send your military to the shores of another country without being provoked, that is a call to war. USA and the Western agenda for Africa is to keep Black people down, they could care less about who is in charge of the country as long as the person is loyal to American interests. Fulani's are more loyal to the Western agenda in Africa, and the reason is that Fulani's are far behind in civilization and education, so it is easier for the West to exploit their barbaric instinct to keep hold of the entire country. Now you wonder why the USA and the British are more loyal to the Muslim northerners instead of the Christian Southerners in Nigeria, this is because religion is just a mere political tool in Africa. The West will condone the act of any Islamic groups if that will help their agenda, USA can even work with ISIS in order to promote its interests. The moment you see Americans acting tough on any country like the Ethiopia currently, know that it is because their interest is in jeopardy. |
This is really really commendable, some people might think he must have had billions other in his bank accounts to be able to dash out N250 million like that, Davido might not even have up to that amount in raw cash with him right now. Na kind person dey give money, no be the person who is rich. There are many people out there that even though they have billions in their accounts, for you to collect a few thousands that you're entitled to from them, they will make your life hell. Gesture like this Davido's is really commendable especially in a society like ours today. |
Nice gesture by the A-list musician, best wishes on your birthday celebration, Davido . I hope he can really put more efforts in supervising the disbursement to make sure the money gets to the people who need it. On a side thought, why do people often think of motherless baby homes when thinking of charity in this country, what about setting aside the funds to help entrepreneurial people who have great business ideas but lacking finance to make the ideas come to light, or people with right skills but needed funding? If we are just giving money to the beggars in this country without helping people's businesses, we will end up living from hand to mouth. It is better to teach people how to catch fish for themselves than just spoon feeding them. |
Cosmatikka:Can't you just praise Davido's gesture and keep your mouth shut, must you drag other people down in order to show your admiration for Davido's nice gesture? I forget you are a Nigerian though, always looking for negative things to say in to others in any situation ![]() |
