safarigirl:Ms does not depend on marital status and can be used for all women. Ms is pronounced (miz). |
Simply raiding an area and rounding people up for a parade is unprofessional. What is the definition of a "criminal hideout" or "black spot"? Is it an offence to visit a brothel? Stealing is usually a reported offence. You don't just go to a random area and arrest the people there for stealing. I think possession and use of cannabis should be decriminalized. |
What exactly is "cultism"? We have not been given details of what they did to be expelled. The Public Announcement mentioned their "involvement in cult activities" without any description. |
The substance of the story is that some members of the Cameroonian military killed a Nigerian businessman. The "accusation of selling tramadol" could have been an afterthought. The businessman is no longer in a position to defend himself. |
The fault may actually be with the way the speech was written. |
He didn't even put the bag back in its original place. |
We should consider the economy of the state or country before declaring extra public holidays. At present, the number of public holidays in the country (13 or 14 each year) are too many. At the state level, some days may just be observed but should still remain normal working days. |
The place actually looks like a cyber café. Where did this take place? Which city/country? |
touchmenot:The World Bank's primary purpose is to give loans with compound interest. Whether the borrower uses the loan for its intended purpose, is that country or state's business. |
Where did this take place? |
Why should those involved in the delivery of petroleum products within the country take orders from the Nigeria Customs Service? Those who live or work in areas close to the border, but within the country, have the same (petroleum products supply) rights as everybody else. |
Reejuvi:Both images are photos of Cotonou, Benin Republic. |
edoairways:Is the report of being charged N50,000 to swim in the pool true? |
It seems as if it is only Nigeria that declares a public holiday for this. For the sake of the economy, the number of public holidays should be reduced. Some days may just be observed without being made public holidays. |
The bill is discriminatory against educators in tertiary institutions. Laws against sexual harassment should not be restricted to a particular group. A reported case of sexual harassment should be handled by the authorities of the tertiary institution or the police/courts under the already existing laws (that are applicable to everybody). The bill should be thrown out or challenged in court. |
Is Google Play Store installed on Xiaomi phones? |
Importation of electric vehicles and and construction of charging points should be handled by the private sector. |
dayveed1:Does this phone have Google Play Store installed? |
People will simply look for other platforms for political advertisements. Twitter would lose revenue. |
What does this really mean? So, a candidate can decide not to sit for the exam and, for example, end up with a score of 160 out of 400. Such a person would then be eligible for admission to a tertiary institution. ![]() |
The name "Nigeria" is okay; there is no need to change it. A change in name would require acceptability all over the country; this would bring up a lot of debates. A change in name would require constitutional amendment, which would take up a lot of time and resources. A change in name would mean that official documents (both public and private) all over the country would have to be reprinted; this would have a lot of cost implications. |
The video does not tell us why they were arrested. |
youngkizo:Just after the start of the video, the name "Putrajaya" was mentioned a few times. Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia. Is there any explanation for this? |
Go and see a dermatologist; if possible, see a cosmetic dermatologist. |
The driver was not charged with murder. He has been charged with 39 counts of manslaughter as well as people trafficking, and immigration offences. |

dre11:Are the telecommunications companies not being paid anything at all for USSD? If the telecommunications companies are, at present, paid nothing, all they need to do is to stop providing the service. They cannot be forced to provide USSD for free. |
mukina2:I do not really know who the moderators are. Is there a list of moderators; or any link to such a list? |
If the university students want to believe in the existence of a mermaid, based on rumours but without evidence, that is their business. The real issue is, why was Olamide arrested? What was her offence? |
There is nothing wrong in the letter by the Body of Banks to the Telecommunication Operators. It is not as if USSD was previously free, and the Body of Banks suddenly asked the Telecommunication Operators to start charging customers. The Telecommunication Operators proposed an increase in USSD charges by 450% to the banks. The banks did not want to be seen as being exorbitant to their customers; the banks also did not want to take the blame for charging customers for any failed or delayed USSD transactions as a result of possible poor network. To prevent any backlash from their customers, the Body of Banks stated that if the Telecommunication Operators insist on the N4.5 per 20 seconds USSD session, they should charge the customers directly (instead of charging the banks who would still have pass on the cost to the customers). In others words, the banks do not want to take responsibility for charges that are only going to benefit the Telecommunication Operators. |
This looks like a travel bag that has been converted into a jacket. |
Take your dog to a vet. |
