What I read from this article and many others that have appeared here on Nairaland and elsewhere in defence of the Police and the Buhari Name supporters who feel its alright to trample on the liberties of a simple dog owner is that the Hausa/Fulani tribe is Sub Human and aren't capable of tolerance hence should be treated carefully same way we would treat say a Loose Lion, an Injured Snake or Rabid Dog. I refuse categorically to accept this false classification of the Hausa/Fulani. And I expect Hausa/Fulanis to be angry with anyone that supports the police's action because that action seems to acclaim that the Hausa/Fulani man is a dangerous breed that we must all be careful about. My question to the poster that feels naming a dog after Buhari is enough to cause a civil war is this: Would a civil war start in Oyo State if a monkey is named Tinubu assuming Tinubu is the name of someone's Father in Ibadan? Would a Civil war start in Yenegoa if a Goat is named after Goodluck assuming Goodluck is the name of someone's Father in Bayelsa. Would a civil war start in Enugu if a Chicken is named after say Obiano?? Why then would you hold the Hausa/Fulani's to a standard that is below these others?? Its terrible how you are snidely insinuating that the Hausa/Fulani are incapable of reason. Once again I repeat that every Hausa/Fulani should be terribly angry with these poeple supporting the impunity of the police and denigrating the position of its people. |
Welcome to the age of tyranny. |
QuotaSystem:Go to a market and repeat what you just said 3 times and see if you would come back with one head. Everybody is groaning terribly about Buhari's apparent dumbness and you are here hailing him. You will be delivered. |
Everything written is directly from the efforts of Jonathan. General Electric had started clearing location in Calabar during the last administration. Everything stalled when Buhari came on board. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/120079-general-electric-to-start-construction-of-manufacturing-plant-in-calabar.html Dangote started building his refinery in Jonathan's tenure. At that time he was worth about $20billion. In the last one year he has lost $10billion in assets. I pray he is still able to complete his refinery. http://www.nigerianmonitor.com/aliko-dangote-loses-over-n2-trillion-in-latest-forbes-ranking-see-his-new-position/ Biggest Mexican Agric firm? ? ? Doesn't it have a name. Indorama has invested heavily in the establishment of a multi billion dollar Fertilizer plant during the Jonathan Era. Construction started in 2013 and was expected to be completed in December 2015 but since Buhari's economic badluck hit Nigeria, things have stalled. https://www.indoramaeleme.com/project-details.php?id=77 Honeywell started the expansion of its plants to include the Sorghum processing plant in Jonathan's era. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/weekly/index.php/business/20781-honeywell-invests-n1bn-to-meet-5-cassava-inclusion-in-flour Dear Osibanjo, we want to see new things. We want to see new things. We want to see progress that you guys initiate. All the things you've mention are all products from the previous administration. |
According to Buhari's spokesperson, Buhari and Badluck always go together. That means the remaining 2 years is going to be hardship except ofcourse the Senators to the needful and send Badluck Buhari packing like IBB helped us do in 1985. |
Terrible performance. We are, we are, we are ......and yet all the indices indicate that everything is going down, down, down. Agricultural production fell by 3.3% in the last quarter and over 20% year on year. Abi oil price and Jonathan sef affect farming? Manufacturing is down. Retail trade is down. Not a single KM of road has been laid with ashphalt. 14 Airlines have left the country. Money you claimed was in the TSA was N3.3 Trillion. Money you claimed you recovered was $9 Billion(2.7 Trillion). If you've cut corruption & You say Jonathan was corrupt, then you should be awash with cash by now. So where is all this money abeg. We go soon vex begin dey ask you for all this money so if you know say you no recover any money at all, abeg tell us. You guys keep spilling lies and you think Foreign Investors don't do due diligence before staking funds. What happened to the loans you wanted to collect before?? China no gree again? World Bank abi IMF nko? I don tire for una abeg!! |
Look at this.... complaining about raining season and you think you can fight in the Niger Delta. Thats crazy. Borno that is almost desert is a challenge and yet we are stoking the fire of Niger Delta Militants whose camps are located in the vast riverine terrian that is filled with swamps and thousands of meandering rivers. The earlier we restructure this country and reduce the challenges we have, the better it is for everyone of us. |
Thirty One years later, the tree hasn't even grown. Whats with Buhari and the things he puts his hands in? |
Political Parties are entirely different from Governmental Agencies. An agency in the class of NCC requires a superordinary technocrat with age very much on his side. This is a terrible appointment and there will never be any plausible justification for it. |
Whats happening in this country? Money remittances from Nigerians in Diaspora are the biggest, I repeat biggest stabilizer of the Naira as they put Forex directly into the hands of the Nigerian economy on a daily basis. Over the years we have been recieving over $20 Billion in remmitances yearly. Thats more than all the state budgets in Nigeria combined. Thats money that we need desperately at this time. Why on planet earth would you now place restrictions on the likes of worldremit who have revolutionalized the money transfer industry. This is terrible governance at its peak. Buhari and the CBN are doing everything possible to destroy the Nigerian economy. |
masseratti:Take was my classmate at a private secondary school in Warri. And your description is apt from all I remember. Very intelligent, respectful and humble. I knew her before her dad was Governor. He was very rich from the Abacha years already but she never flaunted it, When he became governor, nothing much changed about her. She graduated at a top University in UK. Saharareporters sha. You would almost think she is an illiterate after reading the article. And sincerely, who boos someone for imcoherent reading at a burial?? Such lies. |
fiizznation:The hate you spill would eat you up. You love the oil but hate the creeks. FYI, criminals have operated that Arepo and Ikorodu axis for ages bunkering crude. They might be from the Niger Delta or not, I don't know. But those guys are criminals. They are very different from the Niger Delta Avengers are blowing pipeline in the creeks of the Niger Delta. To assume that destroying the criminal elements in Lagos is equivalent to tackling the new militancy in the ND is foolishness that only your likes can display. A wiser approach till tommorow is to discuss Nigeria. Ask ourselves what would work, how it should work and why we should all make it work. The superior argument would carry the day. The stupid assumption that you can just run rough shod over people could work in the days before the internet. In these days the tools of power are right in the hands of the people and I don't mean it literally. The phone is more powerful today than 10,000 propaganda TV stations. |
I need a drier for sweet potatoes. If you want to get more attention, you can show pictorial samples of your machines. |
You would realise soonest that the man dropping those bombs doesn't care nothing for you. And I'm very afraid that of all places to start a war, the old man choose Lagos-the booming capital of Nigeria. I support the ridding of pipeline criminals or whatsoever out of the Lagos waterways, they have no business there in the first place. However, it would be foolhardy to assume that the "drop bomb" strategy would work in the Niger Delta creeks. First, the topography of the creeks are beautifully crafted to prevent the uninitiated whether via Air Land or Sea. Imagine 1000 rivers covered with mangrove trees all connecting with each other and meandering snakingly leading to nowhere. Via Air, its impossible to detect activity as the Mangroves provide cover. Via Land, the swampy terrain makes it impossible to utilize conventional tanks. And via SEA, you are faced with the difficulty of the Snaky rivers as you cannot see whats in front of you. If you've ever been in the creeks, you'd understand why America lost the Vietnam War. A wise man would avoid a fight with fishes in the river. It is easier to restructure Nigeria in a way it would work for everybody than take on a fight that would destroy millions of innocent citizens. Whats wrong with really attempting to discuss the structure of our nation. Whats wrong with trying to come up with something that would really work. Whats wrong with having the six zones as regions capable of determining their direction. Afterall, the UK has within it, four different countries- England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland and its working perfectly. Why can't we attempt something Sometimes it feels like the current president is a curse upon the people. |
Nice. I like what Ambode is doing. I hope the Buhari and all the other Governors screaming no money are watching. |
Turning plastic to diesel is possible but it's a terribly complex process. You make it look like it's a walk in the park. I know of someone doing it in Spain but its not anywhere near as simple as pasting a picture of a small machine you've termed a reactor. Plus rather than charging N1200 for a whatsapp group and teaching people what you've "researched",(anybody can research on Google) let me tell you what would work better. If you are for real, use your smartphone to do a video session of you, taking plastic bottles, putting it in your "reactor", and creating diesel out of it. Pour the diesel in a generator and let's see it work. I would personally connect you with investors who would raise you minimum $2m in start up funding. If you can't do that, then you are simply trying to get 1200 naira from a number of gullible heads. |
That night was bloody. |
Foolishness is when you send desert warriors to go fight in a swamp. It is not the Avengers that will destroy them. It is the mosquitoes alone that would send them sick back to the desert. To think that the $258m came from the very backyard of the Avengers. |
Since when did Haruna become a southern name? Lies, lies and more lies. |
dayowunmi:Dude mehn. Ignorance they say is bliss. But confident ignorance which is what you displayed is terrible. First that law was signed in 2003. Secondly, its not the duty of a governor to make laws as you assume, it is the duty of the House and it has a procedure which takes time. Thirdly, you're a liar. Hawkers have never been known to rob anyone on the road. That's the fattest lie ever and it's a new low you have introduced. Fourthly, should we also ban also ban all professions that are risk prone? We can start by banning driving on the highway since that's one risky lot. Or stop all farmers from farming since there is the risk of snake bites. Or close down all mamaputs and corn sellers because of the risk of fire. Confident Ignorance is is terrible disease. Treat it before it leaves you helpless. |
Apparently,by the same law Ambode has quoted, he has committed a criminal offense. The only thing protecting him from prosecution is his immunity. That's hypocritical. In certain countries, this picture is enough to bring down a leader. I don't understand the disdain these leaders have for hardworking traders. The benefits of their service to society by far outweighs whatever detriments and trust me I don know of any detrimental anecdotes derived from street traders. What kind of society pats Agberos on the back and arrests hardworking street traders. These traders I believe will be very willing to pay taxes and go through any form of regulation demanded of them. The economic implications of shutting down street trading can be heavy. Loads of companies depend solely on these marketers for thier sales. What would UAC be without Gala. What would Lacasera be without the streets. How would you quench your thirst in grave traffic if not these hawkers. There is absolutely no rationale to criminalizing thier activities. |
slimfit1:I agree with you. We will be the beneficiaries in the long run. Yeah it was Sambo's idea. I remember it clearly and that's why I stated it clearly that folks should stop attributing it to Obj. |
But Jonathan yab sha. How can he work this wonderful work and allow Buhari and Amaechi take credit despite not putting thier single finger to it. Lesson to be learned. When you have stuff to do, do it like there's no tomorrow. Start whatever you start and make sure you have capacity to finish it to the best standards or else it will be taken away from you and your enemy will put a badge on it and claim he built it. Soon Amaechi will go and commission Enugu Airport and also put his badge on it.these projects have been completely paid for under a loan agreement with the Chinese. FYI, this project was started by Jonathan and not Obj or Yar Adua as some folks are claiming. Obj project was for the LAgos KAno leg that had long been stalled. Also the project has long been completed since Early 2015. The only thing Amaechi did was to approve the payment for compensation for a seminary whose fence had to to be destroyed along the right of way. He delayed the commission so as to take some credit. But it's Ok and way better than the foolery of abandoning a project because it was started by an opposition predecessor. |
Viktor1983:Like seriously. Rwanda is so impressive right now you would have to wonder whether the war that happened cleaned out all the bad eggs. |
trueconscience:One good question I should ask. Has Buhari paid that loan? it's almost 2 years since the loan was taken. If he has paid, how did he pay? Did Tinubu pay for him or did he sell some of his cattle to pay or he took from Aso Rock. |
Your lawyer saw it in your face that you lack knowledge and decided to deceive you. Let me educate you a bit. The law of the land puts ownership of the land in the hands of the state government. If you reasoned intelligently you would have understood why the signature on your C of O is that of your governor not that of Mr President. If the Federal Government needs land, it actually has to make a request to the state government which has a choice to approve or not. By the way, the ijaws are fishermen and their fishing areas have been polluted by oil activities. Someone is sponsoring a bill very soon asking for the creation of fishing reserves across Nigerian rivers for Ijaw fishermen. ARGUNGU, TIGA, RIVER BENUE and the likes would be reserved for fishing by Ijaw militants. I hope you will support the bill. |
This is the kind of speech that caused Nigeria to loose a million barrels of crude and achieve a record 0 megawatts of power. I'm not one to insult a leader but I must admit that with this kind of thinking, we have a foolish president. You are telling people to remember Biafra in a way that suggests that you are ready to kill another 2 million people to keep the Phantom "one Nigeria ". What kinda leader speaks like this to a large section of the country. What would be wrong if he says, as a people we need to discuss from time to time to perfect our unity. Whatever makes so so and so section of the country feel aggrieved should be looked into. Whatever makes so and so section of the country terribly poor even when others Progress should be looked into. What kinda president speaks foolishly like this. The next thing now Avengers would ground oil production and you'll run to London again to treat hair loss and leave the mess for Osibanjo to clean up. Nonsense. |
Truthfully, I support PDP to win Edo State but I love this guys resume. Outstanding. Three things will work against Obaseki. 1)Edo people are tired of Oshiomole. They'll do anything to reject anything associated with him. 2)APC's 1year at the Federal level has been an absolute disaster and has brought very visible hardship to everyone both the elite and the masses. 3)The Obaseki family is seen as a rebel family in the Benin Kingdom as they are said to have worked against the palace when the British attacked the kingdom and deposed Ovonranmen. 4)The likely PDP candidate Pastor Ize Iyamu is a very strong grassroots politician that has worked for both Oshiomole and Igbinedion. All in all, this Obaseki guy has a tremendous resume but I wish he were contesting under PDP |
Sunday is next tommorow.....counting. The interesting mix is this>>>> If anything happens to Buhari, the North will turn on the South West as they would suddenly be faced with the reality of a Redeemed Pastor as President of Nigeria. The South West would have to push real hard against the North which could actually be terrible as the north is not willing to lose out again so soon as they did with Yar Adua. The fake marraige of the North and the South West will collapse in a second and sadly the South west would have to stand alone. Now while that fight is raging, where would the South South and South East stand?? My guess is that they would support neither. They would simply hug themselves and bid Nigeria farewell.... Sincerely, I fear for Nigeria. |
In the 11days that Buhari hasn't been president (Osibanjo has been acting) Nigeria has experienced more progress than in the 1year since Buhari took over. |
barragan:My name is U**** and I'm Bini. Ogun is a popular deity in Benin. You can read more about it here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/guides/z3s2xnb |
Karm16:She isnt in anyway Yoruba. She's Edo. And Ogunsuyi isn't a Yoruba name. So please take your tribal nature elsewhere. |
