PoliticsRe: New Postage Stamps Launched In Nigeria (Photos) by PapaBrowne(m): 4:10pm On Nov 07, 2016
Have mercy!!

Postage stamps as an achievement strong enough to draw the EFCC chairman, the Secretary the Government, the minister of Telecommunications and a host of others.

Postage stamps in age of emails, WhatsApp and other by the second communication forms.

Buharis and his ministers are the deadest officials on the planet. Warris dis??

When you'd expect Nipost to be at the forefront of championing the e-commerce industry so they can take advantage of the massive delivery service associated with e-commerce, they are here launching postage stamp. When last did anybody post a letter?

I'm afraid. I'm so afraid Buhari is determined by any means possible to take us back to 1983.

Oshiomole built a nice hospital here. It sure would be a legacy for him as he leaves office this week.
I hope the Daura man can learn a thing from Oshiomole.
Oshiomole started that project and when he had built it up to the 3rd floor, the building collapsed.
He didn't cry a blame anyone. He simply gave it sometime went back to the drawing board and rebuilt it and now we have a Central Hospital that no other one can compete with except maybe Akpabio's construction in Uyo.
Buhari should learn from that and stop the lazy blame game he has inundated us with for almost 2 years.

I don't understand this country.

Why are there representatives from the North East, North Central & North West and none from say the South West? Really don't understand why there's always inequity in the current Feds actions
PoliticsRe: Buhari: I Felt Like Absconding When I Assumed Office by PapaBrowne(m):
Read the article and you will see the terrible mindset of the President. It's easy to see why we are in the problem we are in.

"In the East, they eat Garri & Groundnut.
in the West, Pounded yam.
In the North, Two."

Very pedestrian kind of reasoning.

And the bread & noodles I see on the streets everywhere in the north, east, West & South which is a by product of Wheat which we import in droves(Over $3 billion) is eaten by chickens yeah??

The President doesn't believe we eat bread and noodles in Nigeria so he will never accent to reasonable proposals like the Cassava flour initiative that was pursued vigorously by the previous administration.

He doesn't think we use sugar in this country so when Aganga's sugar policy is dusted up and presented to him he will shout Karia ne!!!

A terrible leadership with a illiterate mind who thinks the whole of the country still looks and lives like Daura

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Lost N2tn To Militancy, Pipeline Vandalism – NNPC by PapaBrowne(m):
To think that this was caused by the stupidity of the President's desire to look like a new one sheriff had arrived.

This is what you get when you try to form strength for a militant warlord in whose well you get your water supply.

When Buhari started pursuing Tompolo, people said, this is not wise, oil prices are down, lets chill first. His supporters kept edging him on, screaming new sheriff is in town.

Today, Nigeria has lost $7 billion and we have moved from the 3rd fastest growing economy in the world after China and Qatar to the worst economic situation ever in our history in just 18 months.

$7 billion would have built

1) 726 km of world class High speed railway at $100 million per km straight from Lagos to Abuja making it possible to do that journey in just 2hrs 45mins.

2) Build 1400km of state of the art expressways complete with Street lights at $5million per Km. That's Lagos to Calabar(718km) and Abuja to Port Harcourt

3) 200 world class hospitals across the country at $35million per hospital. There is currently no hospital in the country built with that kind of amount.

4)It would give 350,000 Nigerian Entrepreneurs $20,000(N9 million) each to boost their business and make them globally competitive.

5) It would buy a)100,000 tractors at $20k each. b) Build 800 agro storage points at $2 million each. c) Give 1 million farmers loans of $3000( N1.2million). This would cause the most amazing revolution in our agro history.

6) Build a brand new 400,000 barrels per day refinery.

7) Rebuild all 35+ Federal Universities at $200 million each making them without question the best in Africa.

PoliticsRe: How Is It That The Recession Has Affected Everything Produced Locally?? by PapaBrowne(m): 9:25pm On Oct 27, 2016
You actually mean to say: How is it that the Forex scarcity has affected even locally produced goods that have no bearing with dollar.

Recession is a contraction of economic activity or general productivity within a nation. What we are currently experiencing is not just a recession but one mixed with hyperinflation.

Both the hyperinflation and the recession are a result of Buhari failed palaeolithic policies.

PoliticsRe: FG: Why We’re Taking N9.61tn Loan by PapaBrowne(m):
It is finished!!
The country is officially killed. Buhari has done it.

9.6 trillion Naira loan.

Before we even start discussing, I have just 7 questions.

1)Where is all the Subsidy savings?? Jonathan was said to have been paying hundreds of billions on subsidy. In 2013(N900 bILLION +). There is supposed to be no more subsidy since the new price of N145. So where are all the subsidy savings?

2) Where is all the corruption savings? Since the previous government is accused of being terribly corrupt, and it is said that this government is corruption free, where are all the savings that should accrue from the new corruption free system?

3) Where is all the recovered loot? Why are we borrowing $10billion for reccurents when the government has boasted of recovered funds of $9 billion?

4) Where is all that 3 Trillion said to be locked up in the TSA account. Abi is the account under lock and key?

5) This government has borrowed N2.2 Trillion in the last one year. Where is that money, what was it used for and who was it given to.

6) The N9.6 Trillion in question, who are you borrowing it from. What are you using as surety. You aren't even certain anybody will give that money so why are you making plans deceiving yourself about it?

7) Finally, what the heck is your payment plan. Already we are paying almost 1 trillion for debt servicing on the meagre debt we have. If you add a gargantuan 9.6 Trillion, who is going today for that?

Buhari doesn't care because when the country crumbles he'll be too old or gone to face the consequences.

My gut feeling tells me the greatest heist in the history of Nigeria is currently going on right now under our very nostrils and except we start asking the right questions, we would not have a country to call ours in a few years from now.
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Letter To NASS - Rectifying A Fraudulent Cluelessness by PapaBrowne(m): 12:49am On Oct 26, 2016
The biggest heist ever in the history of Nigeria is probably happening under this regime.

There has been no subsidy for almost 1 year. So what has happened to all the subsidy savings?

This government has borrowed 2.2 trillion naira in the last 1 year. For what??

What has happened to the monies(3 trillion) locked down in the TSA?

I am genuinely afraid that the biggest heist in the history o Nigeria is probably happening right under our noses covered up by the anti corruption slogan.
CultureRe: Oba Ewuare II Suspends Community Development Associations In Benin Kingdom by PapaBrowne(m): 2:07pm On Oct 25, 2016
Excellent leadership. This is exactly the kind of development that can spur radical growth.

Benin is about to witness radical development.

To those that don't understand, this is equivalent to banning OmoNiles.

Now the beauty is that development fees would now be used for the development of the City.

We don't want to riot. We don't want to be lawless. We just want our economy back to pre may 2015 levels. We sincerely plead that you leave us alone and return to Daura.

Shio go and find d history of most of d Akoko edos..they will tell u where they migrated frm e.g Ibilo, Sobe etc. Many of them bears yoruba names, looks like yorubas and they always remain loyal to there yorubas despite d fake histories u people want to force on themgrin

Isoko/etsako/esan/Akoko edos/Yorubas/itsekiris/olukunmi all in d south south does not speak benin but speak more yorubas..that sud tell u many things alone.

The first four kings of d Olukunmi in d South south are yoruba namea..likewise d itsekiris.

Many of ur great grand fathers frm benin bear yoruba names..dat sud tell u their source too.

Yorubaland four times bigger than the South South yet have never seen a single yoruba man bearing benin name but is d other way round...why?
Where do you get all these false stories from? Have you ever been in the South South to verify all the falsehood you've been fed with? The only major tribe in the Super South with any semblance to Yoruba language is Itsekiri and that's largely a function of migration of Ilajes via the waterways.

I have just 1 question for you:

Do you believe Oduduwa came from the sky? If no, then where did he come from? He could have come from anywhere: Egypt, Benin, Sudan or wherever. Now of all the places you suspect he came from, where is the most likely place.Look at you maps and tell me how possible it is that he walked through the sahara dessert all the way down to Ife.

You know the truth but just refuse to accept it.
PoliticsRe: My Take On Aisha Buhari Interview With BBC Hausa. Nafeesa AA by PapaBrowne(m): 10:03am On Oct 14, 2016
NafeesaAA:
Is she wailing because of corruption in the government NO

is she wailing because of the economy? NO

She is wailing because of APPOINTMENTS
If Buhari were performing on the economy, on infrastructure development, on social Renaissance, on even corruption, her complaints would make no sense. But in light of his catastrophic failures, all she said resonates too well with the majority of Nigerians.

You are a classic example of a real zombie. Even his wife that has been with him for decades has decided to cry out, but you in the classic form of zombiesm would still stand in even if Buhari himself decides to wail.
