Let's look at it this way, there was a time when the church used to teach people that the earth is flat, a lot of people believed that error and that is brainwashing but that didn't take long before the truth came out.

Certainly from non Christians : example Muslims.

A situation where a Christian is casting out demon from a fellow Christian is a scam, deception.
For instance, pastor D. K Olukoya or Chris Okafor singled out a Christian in their church for deliverance (because a Muslim cannot possibly be in that church). That is a scam, contradiction and deception to the highest order.
But a lot of Christians don't know it is.
Why?
Because they have never asked themselves this question : was there any case recorded in the bible where a demon was casted out from a Christian?

We all need God's intervention. Even the United states, Britain, China and other developed nations who don't have the kind of problems found in Africa, they all have their problems that require God's intervention.

Life is more important blessing than supernatural interventions. We just keep seeking for more like Oliver twist, we will never get anything but life.

the fact that Christianity is the largest religion currently on earth is enough proof of God's existence.

don't underestimate the power of Christ resurrection and hype spirit wife and husband, Christ only came to save sinners therefore people engaging in sexual immorality are the targets of his salvation. In summary, tithing works like cause and effect, it happens by chance. Sometimes it doesn't work inspite everyone knowing you, but when you are lucky it works. There is no supernatural string attach to tithing. God isn't responsible for the fortune one may get from tithing.

If you have ever been committed to the course of a particular church you attend, you are there when the pastor calls for finance to fund a particular project you sow the seed, you are an active worker in a particular church unit, everyone in the church knows you and see you putting extra effort towards achieving the goals of the church unit in question at the end the pastor has noted that you have been a consistent tithe payer because of this you become the favourite of the pastor, the day you are financially broke what do you think will happen when someone in the church knows you are broke especially when the church is a very large one?

Someone just called you one Tuesday morning in your office and requested that you send him your account number that God want to use him to bless you. You are broke, you don't know who called you, you received the alert and the amount of money is large, you smiles without thinking how the money came about, to you it's a miracle of paying tithe, tithing works.

Another church member listens to your testimony in church how God lifted you up from financial mess because he promised in Malachi that he will open the window of heaven and throw out blessings to you that you can't contend. He is not an active member of the church, no one in the church knows him talkless of the pastor. And because he listens to your testimony he decided to try.
At the end of the month he pays 10% of his monthly income hoping to receive a similar miracle when he is broke. But he was broke no one called him in his office to send his account number, no favor whatsoever from anywhere except the end of month when he is hoping to receive his next salary. By the time the month ends and he receives the salary will he go back to pay the 10% again?
Only mumu will do that, a wise man will start becoming a committed member of the church first let everyone including the pastor know him before resuming the 10% percent payment, otherwise he will remain broke all his life.

A faulty society like the African society never groomed our children to grow and appreciate commitment to unmarried relationship and simple promise of love. They give people the mindset that one should be committed to a relationship only when it is marriage, that is very wrong.
