Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Malachi:3:8
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Malachi:3:9
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi:3:10
Pls take your fight to God who threatened you. See who God go threaten, bacteria better pass you before God.
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. Malachi:2:2
Weytin you go do now, fight am? I have taken time to look at all your responses to other people's comments and questions in this thread, including the questions you deliberately ignored because you never had answers to them. My conclusion about you is, you have failed woefully. You have failed to establish reasons for your position on tithe, you are now gasping for breathe Consequently, you are now resorting to attacks and insulting people rather than defending your position logically and conclusively. If you think any sensible christian who understand his scripture will buy your idea, may be you should read the summary of everything and why they will never become that foolish. Hebrews 11:39-40 39. And these all(all the people mentioned in previous verses of this chapter 11, including Abraham who paid tithe) having obtained a good report through faith, RECEIVETH NOT THE PROMISE(inspite all their tithes and good reports): 40. God having provided SOME BETTER THING FOR US.(which is Christ the founder of christianity), that they without us should not be made perfect. You see that? Without us(Christians ) Abraham, Melchizedek (who even collected the tithe from Abraham) Isaac,Jacob, prophet Malachi (because you are now quoting Malachi for me and reminding me of courses meant for people who never had the opportunity to receive the promise like i have received), and everyone in the old testament. WITHOUT US(CHRISTIANS), ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT PERFECT. I asked this question : mention one christian from the book of Act of the apostle down to the book of revelation who has paid tithe? You know christianity started from the book of act (act 1:15). That old testament or old covenant(including Malachi) was another religion entirely called Judaism (the religion of the Jews or Israelites) . Infact, pastors should be the ones paying tithe to me, not me paying to them. I need the money too. Christ has made me priest, not only them. This is why i say you have failed. Adeboye and oyedepo who understand scriptures far more than you, what do you think that makes them remain mute when Daddy freeze challenges them to debate? Because daddy freeze has exposed their trick, they cannot defend reasons for christian tithing using scriptures. |

analize701: Hahahahahaha. I'd rather you talk with points rather than throwing words around for the purpose of talking. There is no Church which makes Tithing compulsory, if you go to such a Church, then leave. When pastors tell church members if you don't pay tithe then you are robbing God, what do you call that? Is that not compulsory attempt not to continue robbing God by giving on the side of the giver? There are things that pastors will say that are indirect, but we all know the meaning. |

Incrizz: I Thessalonians 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord ...
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead
Why are you working against The LORD paxonel? I'm not working against the Lord anything. when you read scriptures like these, what comes into your mind will depend on previous scriptures that you have read before which relates to the subject matter. If you did not read previous scriptures in relation to it how will you possibly know what it is trying to explain?? Anytime is see 1 Thessalonians 4:17 you quoted, it tells me that previous scriptures says, just like how Jesus was resurrected that's how all christians resurrects when they die, so christians should comfort one another with this hope of resurrection. I don't see anything rapture there. Infact if you look at the preceding verses 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep(christians which died), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him(will God resurrect). 15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive(christians who did not yet died at that time) and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.(in order words, shall not prevent those that died from resurrecting). Now, what is the coming of our Lord is it referring to? It is referring to the day of the Lord, the day we will die. Everyone have their own date of death, hence their own different date of The lords coming. Verse 16 explains what will happen when we die 16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: So death is like a call, using trumpet or shout that your time has come.(what you people erroneously called rapture or sound of the trumpet). We will die to resurrect back to life again immediately, as speed as the twinkling of the eye.(see 1 cor. 15:52).In other words, we don't die in the real sense, we sleep and wake up. That thing called DEATH has been defeated. 17. Then we which are alive(chriatians who did not die) and remain shall be caught up(meaning:interact) together with them(those that have died) in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. I keep saying something, it takes a huge intelligence and thinking to understand certain scriptures, this is one of them. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Should I, As A Christian Pay Tithe? by paxonel(m): 4:11pm On Nov 30, 2017 |
MuttleyLaff: The only tithes to God are: 1) the Levitical tithe aka Mosaic Law tithe, which are given to the priest (e.g. Levite) and 2) the Abraham type of tithe, given to a priest cum king (i.e. Melchizedek) - see #3 below
Other tithes in a secular world context (i.e. tenth, 1/10, 10% and possibly 0.1) are given 1) at pagan temples to priest(s) (note extra biblical references will be provided upon request, same with #3 below) 2) Upon the king's demand's (note bible references will be provided upon request) 3) to local ruler cum priest worthy of the consideration, after taking up arms, go to fight and winning battle fight(s) or war
1) There is obligatory tithe imposed by the Mosaic law (i.e. the Levitical tithe also known as the Mosaic Law tithe) 2) There is obligatory tithe imposed by the christian gatherings law (i.e. ecclesiastical tithe, where christian gatherings, taxes its members tenth, 1/10, 10% and possibly 0.1 too, of their financial income) 3) There is obligatory tithe imposed by custom law (i.e. Abraham's tithing was done, due to the social setting of that time) 4) There is obligatory tithe imposed by monarchy law (i.e. tenth of seed and of vineyards, given to the king's officials and servants)
Now, there is another, which is voluntary tithe, The nuance in this sort of tithe or tithing, is that it isn't imposed by the Mosaic law, not by christian gatherings law or by any custom law It so happens or occurs, when FREELY, one DECIDES to GIVE, a tenth of one's financial standing, as a form of contribution or donation toward's Kingdom purposes, aid or means
In fact, it's tithing subtle difference, is that it is NOT obligatory or imposed
Bible writers and God use the terms, tenth and tithe interchangeably So if I voluntarily give 10%, a tenth or 10 out 100 of my money contribution or donation toward's Kingdom purposes, aid or means, I technically have given a tithe, Considering that it is not a taxed, obligatory or imposition tithe, then I am free, to go ahead giving it
All tithes or tithings, are a form of giving but NOT all giving are a tenth, tithe or tithing because the giving could more or less than a tenth, tithe or tithing
The Bible's message today, is about a revolutionary way of giving, where believers are instructed or urged as in 2 Corinthians 9:7 above
Giving could be 50% today, as in 50% equals half of your money Giving could be 10% next month, as in 10% equals a tithe, tenth, or 10 out 100 of your money (i.e. voluntary tithe, voluntarily giving 10%) Giving could be 100% following month, as in 100%, equals all of your money Giving could be 0% following month after, as in 0%, equals zero goes out of your money Could decide to give 1% month following after, as in 1%, equals 1 out 100 of your money The giving cycle is not fixed, it might repeat or not repeat itself How much you give, changes according to the ammount or percentage, you willingly decide to give
It is the freedom, to give whatever you're comfortable with cheerfully This sort of giving regardless of the percentages is desirable but not obligatory Without stipulating amounts to give, you're are being trusted to know, to do the 3 right things
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. (i.e. you shouldn't be sorry that you gave or feel forced to give) "For God loves a person who gives cheerfully." - 2 Corinthians 9:7
It is obligatory, taxed or imposed tithing that Christians cannot tithe
It is imposed tithing, which is dead with the law and believers are not obligated to perform any form of imposed tithing
Anyone giving imposed tithing is practising a religion, that God our Father doesnt accept as pure and faultless
Correctively, the Bible teaches the "church" the revolutionary way of giving, where believers are instructed or urged in 2 Corinthians 9:7 above, to do
2 Corinthians 9:7, by the way actually, is a rehashed principle God HAS always endorsed, as evident in Exodus 25:2, Exodus 35:29, Deuteronomy 15:10 & 1 Chronicles 29:9
I am sorry to say, there is an awful lot of empty rhetoric written all over this post and I believe the reason is due to the low understanding of the meaning ""no one knew Melchizedek birth or death low understanding of why it was Melchizedek, Abraham opted to give the spoils of war tithe to low understanding of the customary law behind the tithe Abraham gave low understanding of the circumstances of how the Levi got given the office of the priesthood Lots of low understanding
There you will bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, your sacred offerings, your offerings to fulfill a vow, your voluntary offerings, and your offerings of the firstborn animals of your herds and flocks. - Deuteronomy 12:6
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. - Malachi 3:8
Of course, tithing is not offering, if it was, there wont be a distinction btween them, in Deuteronomy 12:6 and Malachi 3:8 Tithing, especially taxed, mandatory or obligatory tithe, DOES NOT give you security against satan Even voluntary tithing doesnt do that Placing yourselves under God's authority and resisting the satan, is the security against and/or for satan running away from you
And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land. - Genesis 35:12
And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither. - Deuteronomy 34:4
Jacob did not tithe Jacob did not tithe because it was going to be the Israelite that wasn't born yet who will do the tithing The seed from which the Israelites came was in Jacob's body It is this seed 430 years plus later who will take up arms, go to fight and winning battle fight(s) or war to have the land
The format of how the tithe vow will be claimed by God took a different turn because of the Israelite's flagrant and offending golden calf misbehaviour
It was under the present circumstances, that Jesus says to tithe, not after The Greek original word, "die", used in Matthew 23:23, means, it is necessary, that they tithe but when that necessity is over, that duty or responsibility for them to do it, is no longer required
No principle of faith about tithing or to tithe was revealed through Abraham. Abraham, simply was following a custom practice that needed to be carried after successful win(s) of fighting a battle or war
Jesus, in in Matthew 23:23, wasnt and didnt say give ecclesiastical tithe
Ecclesiastical tithe, is where a christian gathering, taxes its members tenth, 1/10, 10% and possibly 0.1 too, of their financial income Ecclesiastical tithing is what is practiced in all churches today. It is obligatory and never a voluntary exercise. 10% payment were imposed to church members by pastors who quoted Malachi, and they are being threatened that they rob God if they don't pay. Now that is totally different from voluntary and cheerfully giving of any amount one can afford. So tithe is tithe whether you call it ecclesiastical or levetical or abrahamic. And giving is giving. Because when collecting tithe no one is making any distinction in practice, they are all collecting the 10% |

analize701: If we go by this your logic, satan will confuse more lazy Christians who depend on some Pastors who do not even know why they are taking Tithes from people in the first place.
There's a bigger picture here which very Few Christians can see.
Right now, Daddy Freeze may seem to be on the side of the poor who Pastors are stealing from, but there's a motive behind it and very few can see it.
Daddy Freeze is not for the poor, but against them. How do you mean that Daddy freeze is not for the poor? Daddy freeze says tithe was never for christianity but for old testament. All the scriptures you quoted in this thread to support tithe are all old testament scriptures confirming what daddy freeze said. Only that you quoted Gal 3: 7, 9 say? Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. And you asked the question Now, as Seeds of Abraham by virtue of our Faith in Christ, are we, or should we be partakers of the Promise made to Him by YHWH? Now, this is my answer to this your question. We don't need to pay tithe in order to show that we are partakers of YHWH's promises to Abraham. Infact, it is Abraham that is a partaker of the promise to us through Christ, not we being partaker of abrahamic covenant and the tithe associated with that covenant. As far as God is concern that covenant and it's tithe is over. We are far greater than it. So, do the poor need further deception again after daddy freeze has enlightened them these few days? |

Jupxter: Sorry, then you don't have a flint understanding of what the return of Christ means I understand everything! Christ has been returning everyday. Anytime anybody dies that is the return of Christ. He comes to judge people when they die. It is appointed ones for men to die, after that judgement. You people are mistaking resurrection of the dead as explained in 1 Thessalonians 4 for rapture. Christianity Etc › Re: My Take On Rapture. by paxonel(m): 5:17pm On Nov 29, 2017 |
Incrizz: This is my take on Rapture teachings.
2 Thessalonians Chapter 2:3 was talking about The Rapture and says, "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"
...
Do you understand what that Scripture means?
The Rapture will not happen until the Antichrist has been revealed.
Meaning, The Antichrist would have already done his havoc before Christ appears; to take His people away!
Christ will not come a 3rd time to take batch2 of people away!
And when Christ comes and takes His people away i.e The Rapture, what is left is, The Judgment.
So what am I saying?
I am saying that it is not Rapture then Antichrist but rather
Antichrist then Rapture!
So you see? A lot of Christians are not watching and praying against perdition and falling away because they are expecting Rapture first.
What Christ said to us, I say to all, WATCH AND PRAY!!
If you agree, then you may need to copy and share.
-copied Op, this is fiction! There is nothing like rapture, the bible never mentioned any such thing. Parables are like figurative languages used in some scriptures to explain natural occurence. Obviously, you people are misinterpreting some figurative languages of the bible to mean that they are talking about rapture, meanwhile they are talking about something else. I will advice you people to remain focus on your legitimate professions on earth and not be distracted by this fake rapture doctrine. Rapture is not coming Rather, this earth remains forever, no end. God's kingdom has no end |

Firstly let me take you back to your own error
Check the bolded very carefully and see for yourself how foolish your assertion is. You better stop deluding yourself talking about what you do not know like it is what you know. Secondly my comment about holiness is just an analogy to buttress the point I'm making but it seems simple understanding has eluded you. If you assert that what Jesus told Nicodemus was meant for just that period, it should follow that holiness should be for those days as well. Can you now see as you are exposing yourself? As per being African I'm not ashamed of who I am, but you? You think denying who you are will change who you are keep it up. If not that stupidity is free I would be compelled to ask you where and how you got yours The bolded is a conclusion which was backed up with premises . You are debunking it without any premise but attacks( a fallacy known as ad hominem) Are you not the one lost like that? Did Jesus not called some of his disciples to follow him? Yes or no? where there not thousands of people who followed Jesus to Jerusalem before he was crucified? Yes or no? Was there anything like christianity before Jesus resurrected? Yes or no? If the answers to these three questions are yes and not no, because there is nothing you can say here to deny them(if you like jump let your head touch the clouds). Let me see your next statement if it says the answers to those questions are no. I don't have time for people like you. I do not give a damn whether you buy my idea or not, my own is final, it's for me and those who have understood me. Not you. salvation101: false.... Jesus told Nicodemus dat he must be born again, is Jesus john d baptist? Get this right! Jesus told Nicodemus except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. You know what that means? It means a man needed(I'm using past tense because these things are past already) to be born again first, then the benefit of being born again is the kingdom. Now if you follow the story of what happened then before Jesus was crucified you will understand everything. Thousands of people followed Jesus who ended his journey at jesusalem where he was crucified and resurrected. The resurrection of Jesus at Jerusalem marks the beginning of God's kingdom. So what Jesus invariably meant to Nicodemus was, Except a man follow me(christ) and journey to Jerusalem he will never see me being crucified and resurrected which is the event that marks the kingdom of God. The wind blows where it listed thou knoweth not where it is coming from and where it is going to. So is every man that is born again. Meaning, you Nicodemus saw people following me, you do not know where we are coming from and where we are going to. Join us to where we are goin to if you want to see the kingdom. Where we are going to is Jerusalem. This implies that, to be born again means to follow Christ at the time when he was not yet crucified. A journey that leads to Jerusalem, that was exactly the time Jesus meant as the days of John the Baptist Right from the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of God suffered violence. This means, thousands of disciples violently like a crowd trouping into Jerusalem with Christ for the kingdom. Remember, John the Baptist did not made it to Jerusalem. He was killed before Jesus was crucified so he did not made it to the kingdom. Hence the least person in the kingdom is greater than John the Baptist. I will stop here. If you have read your bible and think very well you will understand what I'm saying. If you have not been reading then it will be very difficult for you to understand. That's why this young girl can be so foolish enough to mutilate her hand, it shows she has not been reading. Anything pastors say that's what she does. She mutilated her hand just because she wanted to enter God's kingdom, something she had already through grace? She is just too foolish |

How come christianity is now associated with the phrase born again from Jesus to Nicodemus at the time he was yet to be crucified? And you know the resurrection of Jesus marks the beginning of christianity on earth. If you don't have the brain to think you can never understand these things. Africans don't have that kinda brain. generaliy: It is so painful to realise that a backsliding man who has fallen from the faith and some entirely non-believing wretched sinners are now creating "standards" for the church to discuss or debate, it is a pain too much to bear for anyone who understands what the church should be doing presently in the programme of God.
It is more painful to see supposed Christians carried away by "Every wind of doctrine", making a shipwreck of their faith after reading a few well crafted doctrinal errors laced with generous overdose of heresies.
The problem of the church is fundamental, it is not spontaneous as it seems, it is a gradual, systematic, stealth but not invisible departure from the basics, a gradual lowering of standards, a shift from the pattern as laid by the early Apostles...depth in the word seems not to matter anymore, and we created trouble, without knowing it, or maybe we knew, but we just felt it's not much of a trouble and played indifference.
This is like the proverbial iroko tree hitherto left to thrive by the landowner's indifference, which later grows into a sacrifice-demanding demi god, we are all paying the price for our consistent inconsistencies, our unattended "minors", we all nurtured this demonic iroko to its present height, only to discover it's a harbinger of terror, horror and pain!
The church has departed from systematic study of the scriptures, searching the scriptures now seems tedious and unattractive, in its stead, we have created events, several of them, it is not uncommon to see banners after banners, from Oshodi to Ojota, from Allen to Ajah, promoting shows after shows, music shows, comedy shows, business sessions, and what have you, seeing a church banner of events dedicated solely to bible studies is now harder than having a camel pass through the needle eye!
Brother "A" is new in church, in our bid to prevent the next church adjacent our's from snatching him, we give him positions meant for the bone-chewers while he's yet to master the art of digesting milk properly, we award Phd honours to elementary level Christians, shame!
We have consequences, Pastors who are barely born again, Christians without root, easily swayed, not unflinching in convictions, they rely on the next CDs from "Papa", and bingo, add from knowledge gained from some motivational classes, the Bible is just an addition to support their speeches of errors and intrinsic balderdash, the church yells at their mastery of choice words, somebody shouts hallelujah, they're urged to ride on and preach more, yet rhema is alien to the man on the pulpit, basic scriptural convictions are replaced with "philosophies of men so called"!
The only solution to these fundamentals is the Holy Spirit, unfortunately, He has been largely impersonated and extensively misrepresented, the blubbering in senseless conjuction of "Skabash" and "Yadoosa" has been sold to millions as the Spirit of Yahweh, no, that's no Yahweh spirit, it's purely "Yahoo", fraudulent tongues in the name of Jesus!
If you're lucky to find yourself in a Bible believing church (There can be differences in administration, doctrines are NOT meant to differ, the Bible is ONE and should remain so), dig and keep digging for more rhema, if you're not convinced in your spirit (Your pastors do not rebuke you for your sins, instead, you're rewarded and applauded because you can easily drop seeds ans commitments) then find your way out quickly, very quickly!
If and only if you could get to the extent of being deeply rooted, a million Daddy freeze will no longer be your challenge, rather, you'll be challenged to pray for him to see the light, you'll not curse his soul, you'll take it to his maker in prayers!
Ilesanmi Iyanu Samuel writes from Lagos, Nigeria. You have absolutely nothing to say. Daddy freeze quoted scriptures to support his assertions and gain acceptance. But you and your pastors have no scriptural backing to oppose him. Hence your pastors remain mute. I hope that their next action is not to assassinate him |

And you are an alien to this system, so you shd stop concerning yourself with it's tenets. Who says I'm alien to the system? Get me right ! 1. You have been saved ever since Christ was crucified since 2000 years ago. Not from the time you were born and baptized into the church you are attending now. 2.You will get know this from your pastor or through reading your bible that you were already saved. Otherwise, you will still be thinking that until you meet up to a particular standard of morality thought by your pastors in church that's when you will be saved. 3. By the time you understand that you were already saved either from your pastor or from the bible. Your pastor can further teach you how to be morally upright from the scriptures when there is need(this is were Nigerian pastors have failed. As a result, there is moral decedence in the country). After knowing all these things which they should not take you less than one year to know them, then the church have achieved all it's purpose in your life, you don't need anything else again. By this, you have fulfilled the two greatest laws a. Love God with all your heart b. Love your neighbour as yourself 4. If you now decide to stop going, the church have no right to hold you back. Now, it is useless to still remain in church after knowing everything |

petra1: Have you ever thought you could be the one in error?
You’re wrong . The early church had many issues .to the point some were stealing some even sleep with their fathers wife. There ware false brethren , false apostles etc . That is not enough reason for people not to go to church .
The Bible should be your guide . Your counsel is dangerous . People must go to church . Without the gathering together there is no church or Christianity . It is a fellowship together . One person can never be the church You that lack the capacity to think did i say that the early church did not have issues? When Jesus says i will build my church what did he meant? If you think he meant he will gather people into religious activities then you should know that the Jews have gathered in their synagues for greater religious activities long before Jesus came to die and God was not moved anymore. If you truly allow your bible to be your guide without any sentiment what says the scripture? John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither IN THIS MOUNTAIN(the place were samaritans gather to worship) , nor yet AT JERUSALEM(the place where Solomon temple was built, where the Jews gather to worship) worship the Father. Now, if you think all i have been saying since is dangerous, then this statement of Jesus should be more dangerous to you. I'm not against gathering where the pastor is doing well. But when the pastor is a bunk, you reserve the right to leave the church for him, nobody will slap you. Unfortunately, all pastors in Nigeria are bunks. All of them |

petra1: So it’s because of giving tithe you will rather prefer people don’t go to church ? Without. the church there will be no Christianity
Hebrews 10:25 ( 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Not just because of tithe But also errors like others i mentioned previously. This Hebrews 10:25 was at the time when there were no excesses found among the leaders of THE CHURCH back then, when things were far better as it is now. But always know that believers reserve the right to be on their own when church leaders are becoming questionable. |

Christianity without church is the original philosophy. The temple is thy heart, the philosophy is love And that's the greatest message. Love for all mankind, not just only in the four walls of a church building called church |

kachi19: Then a church issa prison then? Nobody forces you to come to church as long as christianity is concerned. So how do we learn? you've been thought so you grow and teach someone also... nobody is asking you to come back to the church, it's exactly how it is. you come or you don't christianity is a choice. But the thrills, the chills, the overwhelming feeling, supernatural sensation you get when you gather to worship as christ asked his disciples to when the first recieved the holyspirit. You just keep coming back on your own accord cos if you want to stay home nobody kills you... i haven't gone to church in two sundays and no one placed a gun on my head. Christianity is FREE than any other Are you telling me that it is mere thrills, the chills and feelings that is making millions of Nigerian christians religious people? I know they are part of the reasons, and i think they are very good reasons for going to church. Getting thrilled and entertained. But again, i believe the only reason why any gathering should be merry, dance and get entertained by thrills is because they all understand the content of the scripture which should be the first priority. And that should be done by pastors educating church members of scriptures but that is not the case. So why then all the thrills? what are they dancing for when they can't understand practical ways to solve their own personal problems at home . What are they dancing for when the economy of the nation is bad? No good schools, stable power supply and good political leadership. What are they dancing for when their pastors are enriching themselves at the experience of poor church members and so on? It's something Nigerians should begin to think over and take their personal stand. |

godisgood200: Are you saved? For yourself i mean. If Christ appears now and we are expected to make an entering into his realm, will you enter or will you stand before Him counting the errors and short comings of pastors?
Did Jesus tell you to use any Pastor as a standard or Him?
Na like joke like joke una go jejely waka enter hellfire. This is exactly what I'm saying? How can you be going to church from your childhood till now yet you still do not know that you are saved? That means you have not been thought. That's why you find yourself keep going. For how long? Obviously, something is very wrong with that kinda system |

godisgood200: Can you help back up the bolded with scriptures pls? Remember persecution caused early christians fled to different countries, now who was gathering them at that point? Yet they had something to preach where ever they find themselves. That means they must have been thought. Paul never had any congregation. He was going from place to place preaching. All I'm saying is, christianity can still be practiced without gathering people for too long. If you must gather people teach them what they should know. When they have the understanding then let them go. But this is not the case of pastors today They made scriptures to be blurd to you so that you keep coming for more, at the end they distort and defraud you without you knowing |

kachi19: my lawwd DO YOU EVEN HEAR YOURSELF?!? it's just like saying a 12yr old child from the rural area should just go to Jss1 because he's the age when he's got no academic idea. What's the purpose of conversion if you was just going to baptise dem and send dem away for the universe or God to come down and help them grow or teach them what the bible says or wat being a christian mean... im not a good christan or a fervent church goer but why do we even go to school? why can't we just buy books and teach ourselves YOU'RE A VERY FORNI PULSN No that's not what i mean , I mean the ones that need to be thought should be thought first. When they have the understanding, then they should be realised and let them go . If schools are that transparent then churches should do better |

kachi19: naaa It's same christ who gave THE GREAT COMMISSION and however he says When two or three are gathered in his name, he's present. The church has been seen as a body... there's no religion since the beginning of time that didn't have a place to GATHER and WORSHIP, it's what makes it complete... sadly we are humans and evil is in everyone of us but your religion is in ur heart you can be better than most and besides Christianity is free and of freewill The commission was to preach and convert non christians into christianity and not to gather them. Even if it requires gathering them, then they should be given orientation on what christianity is all about, that it is not a religion of gathering. After which they should set them free and let them go and not to come back again( they already have their bible with them) and let them live their lives with the knowledge and understanding |

Ubenedictus: Christianity without the Church will be like religion without God Where in the scripture? Also note that THE CHURCH and church are two different thing. THE CHURCH is the saved people, which is the body of Christ. while church is church building where people go every Sunday. That one is religion, we were not expected to be doing all that. Going to church |

It's either they were buying and selling there, or they will argue with him, or the disciples admiring the temple building(like Nigerians admiring Canaan land at ota and currently in kenya) which Jesus told them it will collapse someday. |

JESUSmessiah: THE WORD OF TRUTH:
The Creation
“In the beginning GOD created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD” (John 1:1) “And the LORD GOD formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7) “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:3) “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; GOD himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:18 ) “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth” (Psalms 33:6) “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. (Psalms 24:1)
The Sovereignty of GOD
“Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is GOD in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else” (Deuteronomy 4:39) “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting GOD, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding” (Isaiah 40:28 ) “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our GOD, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:7-9) “Thou art worthy, O LORD, to receive glory honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created” (Revelation 4:11)
JESUS CHRIST is the Son of GOD
“For GOD so Loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For GOD sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of GOD” (John 3:16-18) “Whosoever shall confess that JESUS is the Son of GOD, GOD dwelleth in him, and he in GOD” (1 John 4:15) “For there is one GOD, and one mediator between GOD and men, the man CHRIST JESUS; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5-6) “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible GOD, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: All things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Colossians 1:14-17) “Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” (1 John 2:23) “ JESUS saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) “This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:11-12)
The Last Days
“That ye be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the LORD and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation” (2 Peter 3:2-4 ) “The LORD is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9) “For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of GOD: and the dead in CHRIST shall rise first:” (1 Thessalonians 4:16) “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8 )
JESUS CHRIST is our LORD and Saviour
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23) “But GOD commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 ) “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the LORD;” (Acts 3:19) “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in earth, and things in heaven, and things in the earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:10-11) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth The LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10) “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear GOD, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man” (Ecclesiastes 12:13) “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” (1 John 3:23) “That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our LORD JESUS CHRIST: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the KING of kings, and the LORD of lords;” (1 Timothy 6:14-15) “I am ALPHA and OMEGA, the beginning and the ending, saith the LORD, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8 )
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever" (Psalm 111:10)
To know more, read the Word of GOD daily in the HOLY BIBLE (king James version) The kingdom of God is now with us, not at hand anymore, please update yourself. You are passing the wrong message, people have started ignoring this kinda messages do you noticed that? Because they are becoming learned and understanding scriptures everyday. But you that refused to read, you will remain there |

Every false doctrines, ordinances, intimidation of church members to get them pay tithe, falsely distortion of church members financially by making them believe they are financing Gods work, inequality between church members and their pastors ,etc are all activities of churches. It reflects the mind of a typical human as the scripture puts it.
The heart of man is desperately wicked.
This explains why God wanted to be the only king of the Israelites who were craving for human king just like every other nations of the world . But God told them, this human king will take your possessions and enrich himself, he will oppress you and you will remain poor and unproductive under his rule. But the Israelites insisted, they want a king. So, God gave them Saul.
Now, pastors are mere humans they can never be different from Saul, its not possible.
To this note, Jesus who died and resurrected had it at the back of his mind that he want to make you free from every form of human oppression. Every tithe, ordinances, distortions, brain washing, intimidation from human pastors.
So, he made you his temple where you have direct assess to him without any building or church. He made you an epitome of worship through Christ, such that you don't need any building or church to worship him. He made you priests through Christ where you have direct assess to him without any pastor or man of God or any tithe.
But unfortunately, a lot of you don't know these things, therefore you will continue to remain oppressed by your pastors until you set yourselves free by stop going.
If you remain in your house nobody will approach you on Sunday's and ask you to pay tithe. |

These buildings are nothing unless the messages that are passed across to the church members are what will build their intelligence and understanding, just like Jesus messages in the bible. But anything similar or below what oyedepo and other pastors are preaching in Nigeria(which never build the intelligence of Nigerian people all these while) will amount to waste of resources for beautiful buildings
It will have been better to build simple buildings until people are becoming intelligent and their standard of living is improved like that of developed nations |
