According to your analysis keeping Wike and obi for a Southern vote contest give me a side by side state votes projection of the southern States. all these southern states whom do you think the masses and not the votes of the foolish leaders/governors you mention will make a sure WIN for Obi or Wike
Peter Obi will sweep the entire Southeast. Or do you argue that?

He will get over 30% of votes or more in all of Southsouth states. Maybe except Rivers if Wike gets the ticket.

He will score about 40% of votes in Lagos, about 20% in Ogun, Oyo and Ondo.

Don’t know what will happen in Osun and Ekiti.

Peter Obi should deputize Kwankwaso for one term. What's so difficult about that, in 2027, he will be contesting from the ruling party with the support of the imcubent president Kwankwaso.
Kwankwaso is not as nepotistic or cluesless as Buhari, a 4 years term of a sensible northern president who runs an all inclusive government won't kill us.
If they run separately, they will both lose, forget peter obi online support. Majority of Nigerians are idiots, they will vote for money.
After a northerner’s 8 years presidency, will the north die if the south takes over?

Lol.... same hurricane that will sweep uche Ekwuunife senatorial return because of her utterances against Obi. You know that my state, Anambra is APGA state. So what we all resolved earlier was to vote Obi for presidency, then vote party of your choice in other segments, but Ekwuunife's utterances would have killed most politicians individual ambitions, because people are very angry now threatening to vote labour across board. Obi's tsunami will send most politicians in Anambra state in to political oblivion come 2023. You know the funniest thing, virtually all APGA flagbearers at the lower segments, like senate, reps are all campaigning for Obi, even though there's APGA presidential candidate ooo, just to avoid backlash from the masses. If you dare campaign publicly against obi, you will kiss your seat goodbye. Whatch out, even soludo will dare not campaign against him. If Obi maintains this tempo, you will be amazed with the number of votes that will come out of the SE, and even if he doesn't win, it will send signals to PDP and APC that SE can actually produce a reasonable votes when it matters.
Thank you for making me aware of this.

And I’m most happy with your conclusion that the even if Obi doesn’t win, we shall have made a statement to PDP and APC to never ever underestimate or not factor the Igbos in their political permutations ever again.

I wanna see the Southeast churning out nothing less than 5million votes.

It’s a statement that must be made.

Asides Rivers, which other state in Southern Nigeria do you think Wike will attract votes?
Politics › Re: Running Mates: APC Defers To Tinubu, Wike May Emerge As Atiku’s VP by Penguin2: 3:08am On Jun 15, 2022
Tinubu-Dogara is already trending

While Atiku-Wike is already trending.

The choice of Dogara or any Christian will make Tinubu lose northern votes. If he dares choose a Muslim, the south is gone.

Now, the choice of Wike will further make the Atiku ticket unpopular in both the north and south.

No Igbo man will vote Atiku with Wike as running mate after Obigbo massacre and telling the world he’s not Igbo.

Okowa will work against them in Delta.

After breaking Obaseki’s neck in Edo PDP, Obaseki will work against an Atiku/Wike ticket.

After losing out on both the presidency and vice presidency, Udom Emmanuel will not be enthusiastic to campaign for them in Akwa Ibom.

Donald Duke and Liyel Imoke don’t like Wike in Cross River.

Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa and Wike no dey waka same road.

I do not think the Yorubas will be so enthusiastic to vote Wike either.

So where will Wike get the southern votes for Atiku?

Well sha, everything is working out for the good of Peter Obi.

Wike was chief of staff to Amaechi. He served him well.
He was a minister of education/boy to Patience Jonathan. He served her well. Wike knows how to do these things.
Except that the Wike of those times you mentioned doesn’t seem to be the Wike we know now.

Was Wike this cantankerous in his first term? No.

Everything changed after he won his second tenure and I don’t he will change from this man he has become now.

You said “his mouth doesn’t like him” grin

Wike destroyed a lot of bridges and goodwill he enjoyed in first tenure with his mouth and arrogance. I guess he started packing a lot of dollars and lost his mind thinking money can buy all things.

Meanwhile, I’m glad you visited Maria’s page so that you can feel the undiluted and unfiltered pulse of the Ebonyi and Igbo people.

The things I tell you here are not out of emotions but out of reality on ground.
Politics › Re: PDP To Hold Vice Presidential Candidate Screening On Thursday by Penguin2: 2:48am On Jun 15, 2022
Lol!

Selection of running mate seems to be tougher in this 2023 election than anytime ever in our election history.

Atiku is running kiti kiti; setting up laughable Vice Presidential screening committee.

Tinubu, too, is running kata kata; faced with the devil and the deep blue sea. Choose a Christian and lose the north; chose a Muslim and lose the south.

E choke!

Meanwhile, if Wike could buy panel members with $5million dollars, I’m sure he still has some more $10million dollars for the screening committee. He and Okowa might even enter a bidding war and let he with the highest millions of dollars win.

Nigerians will wait for them at the polls with our PVCs (Peter’s Victory Card).

Ndi ala!

Wike is the strongest candidate in ss but not the best.he will attract bloc votes from rivers but bayelsa,Edo,delta won't work for him.udom will be neutral...pdp will still win ss narrowly..Donald duke or udom will be a better candidate
You expect Udom to be neutral after losing out on both the presidency and vice presidency?

Like you said, Wike is just playing thuggery politics that won’t take him beyond Rivers.

I can assure you that Atiku will lose more votes than he would have lost if he chooses Wike as running mate.

Some northerners won’t vote Atiku because of Wike.

No South Eastern state will vote Atiku with Wike as running mate after his role in Obigbo massacre. Forget that Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu were following Wike around. Wike could buy them but he can’t buy the Igbo people.

Now, in Southsouth, Okowa will work against them in Delta.

With his running battle with Obaseki, Obaseki will work against them in Edo.

Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa and Wike no dey waka same road.

Donald Duke of Cross River already berated Atiku for contesting the presidency since 1993 without winning and advised him to rest. But I don’t know where Imoke stands. Maybe Atiku will get some votes there.

Well, maybe Udom will just stand aloof in Akwa Ibom.

Las las, Wike will only be sure of Rivers.

Powersurge:
Election is around the corner and tensions are getting high. I will split my view into two, the present and the future.

The Present
1. Atiku: The southern stance against northern candidate for 2023 has obviously crumbled as many southern leaders are already hustling for VP slot under a northern candidate.

People like Ikpeazu, and Okowa (and perhaps Obaseki) sold the southern chance for VP slot. Something that is now biting them in the as*.

Atiku currently has no hinderance to his chances at the polls. And if he ends up choosing Wike, his chances will increase significantly. Because Wike has more political strength and alliances than Okowa and Ikpeazu combined.

2. Tinubu: Tinubu is a tactician with extensive political tentacles. His emergence as the APC presidential flag bearer against the wish of Buhari has shown his influence in the party.

However, the APC is riddled with controversies. Especially in VP selection. He's between the devil and the deep blue sea. Nigeria population is almost 50-49% between the two major religions. Any group that downgrades that in the 21st century MIGHT be playing with fire.

3. The Third Force: I spent over 3 hours last week looking for my PVC. I am going to vote for one of the people in this category ( name held). However, I personally feel that none of these folks have the chance at the presidency if they continue working separately and throwing tantrums at one another.

To win presidential election in Nigeria, you will need at least 4 zones. Apart from having the majority votes (which I don't see any of them having), you must have at least 25% of the total vote cast in at least 24 states of the federation. The author of the law did that in their wisdom to ensure that nobody would win the election on the account of his tribe, religion or population.

In a perfectly sane society, one of the third force folks ought to be the president of Nigeria. Again, no society is perfectly sane. And there are factors that determine emergence of a person as a president.

The Future
This is my personal forecast. Unfortunately, it's against my wish.
1. I feel APC will crumble due to this VP thing. No matter whom they choose, people will decamp to PDP and sabotage the party because it would go against their interest. The Senate majority leader is an example of what is to come. Even if people don't decamp, after Tinubu choose his VP, it would take just one propaganda to set the system against him. Buhari does not have the political strength of people like OBJ to handle a party like APC. And if people like El Rufai and the likes don't get their way (Moslim-Moslim ticket), chances are they will sabotage Tinubu. If they do, another problem looms.

2. Atiku MIGHT win the election because he would get sympathy votes. His a northern Moslim. And his choosing a southern Christian. Again, emphasis on MIGHT.

3. The third force will not win the election. They lack the structure, the finance, political tacticians etc. If they go to the polls separately, all of them will not have up to 20% of the total vote cast. If they form a coalition (which I doubt), it took CPC and AC many national defeats to realize that their individual strength is like a drop in the mighty ocean, they will create SIGNIFICANT headache for the bigwigs. For one, they will make having 25% in 24 states VERY difficult for any winner.
Not far from the truth.

That’s why Peter Obi needs an alliance with Kwankwaso so badly.

Apart, they are going nowhere; but united, they will be unstoppable.

It will be a hurricane.

It’s possible.

It’s the reason Obi left the party for them.

I just hope it’s his personal money that Wike has been spending from buying up the PDP structures in most southern states to paying delegates thousands of dollars and now buying panel members with $5million dollars.

I will advise Atiku not to dare pick Wike as Vice because it would be disastrous.

Does it not show that he’s actually the problem because everywhere he goes, peace departs.

Obaseki should check himself.

Meanwhile I think of the three senatorial candidates, only Ihama might win his election.

And maybe the guy from Central.

The Catholic Church in Nigeria seems to finally be waking up from her docility.

In countries like Congo and Tanzania, the Catholic are so politically vocal and a feared force; but those in Nigeria have been sleeping. Only Bishop Kukah was offering some glimpse of hope.

But it seems all that is about to change now.

Bishops and priests championing registration of PVCs only means one thing - 2023 will not be business as usual.

I laugh when I hear Obi does not have structure… because aside from the youth, the Catholic Church all over Nigeria is ready to be Obi’s structure from North to south. And I don’t think there’s any state in Nigeria you can’t find the Catholic Church.

He should be more concerned about winning his own senatorial ticket than anything else. Because with the way things stand now, he won't win that ticket.

The efulefu is selfishly fighting for his own ticket but isn't wise enough to know how to go about it. Umahi knows that both presidential and senatorial elections will be held same day and tsunami that is blowing will make people to vote for Labour Party candidates all through. Now he has made things worse for himself because even his own people that would have voted him are now angry and would vote against him in protest.
I think his only saving grace would be that I’m not sure Labour Party has a Senatorial Candidate in Ebonyi South. If not, Umahi would have struggled to win that seat.
