1. let me speak like a doctor(which I am ) . i have not seen the president, i do not have access to his health reports, therefore i cannot make any definite statement about his health. no doctor worth his salt will do so unless he/she has seen the patient or has recieved in writing or even orally, the evaluation of the patients health status from a qualified authorised personelle. i can write 200 pages on CSS but that is different from writing authoritatively on the presidents health status.

2. let me speak like pres-elect(which i am ) . the poster just made a hypothetical analysis of what yaradua would likely be at the moment. the emphasis is on the word likely, since the article did not get any authorised information about the patient president. it may make journalistic and even political sense, but medically speaking, it is balderdash. little wonder there is no name atached to the article(unless i'm mistaken) the writer of the article just advertised her knowledge.

3. now let me speak like a nairaland contributor (which i am . . lol . . ) , the article may not be professionally acceptable in medical parlance but that doesnt mean there is no truth in it. just that it bears no evidence of truth(if any) this is b/c PDP and co have refused to tell us wetin dey. president dissapear, nobody knows why. wether the guy is still alive, we no know. hence voice of rumor takes over. very soon we will hear for the umpteenth tim that he is dead. we've heard that before, many times. nobody knows the truth, but one day, we will know

you are truly intelligent, and ur critical analysis of the ''medical report'' was good. what kind of doctor will make such detailed analysis of a patient he/she/it has not yet seen? that doctor has broken medical ethics by ''sentencing to death'' , a patient that she has not yet seen, little wonder he/she/it remained anonymous

however, that does not change the fact that the yaradua spin factory has be very economical with the truth about his health. for now we dont know much, but soon we will know better. meanwhile, for the sake of our country, we should hope for the best.

the soldiers in WW2 had a mission, destroy the 3rd reich. the men that fought in the civil war had a mission, save the union. . . what is the mission of the young boys in afghanistan? how do you explain the ''timetable'' given for withdrawal fom afghanistan? if their mission(if any) is not achieved by their time the deadline arrives, what happens?

in a real war with a real mission, there is no time table for withdrawal, withdrawal only happens after the mission is accomplished. and as collin powel will say . . ''no war plan survives the first battle'' . . you tell me, mr toshman, you tell me how the timetable will work out in afghanistan, b/c if i were the taliban i'll just chill for the deadline, and after the GIs are gone, i'll flex my muscles. kaput.

every generation has a hero. heroes are known for standing up for what is right evenwhen i is unpopular and even when thepowers that be tink otherwise. i hoped real hard that obama will put an end to these useless wars that are draining the blood of young americans. i hoped he would stand up to the blood thirsty, war mongering, idiots in the pentagon. but i was hoping in vain. obama has fallen for them. he could not withstand them.

and now, the war continues, other peoples sons and fathers and daughters/mothers/sisters will be going to die in a foeign war that is not directly keeping america safe today.

the real reason why america is safe today (if it is safe) is because of somehard working security agents at home. wether the taliban takes over afghanistan or al qaeda returns to rule them, as long as american scurity officers a home are efficient, they will not attack the homeland. if they like let them (al qaeda ) overun the whole middle east. i expected obama to pull out of afghanistan, increase assistance to pakistan were there is real danger of taliban taking over the nuclear facility, giv the govt in pakistan some real support and secure the homeland. but this was not to be.

another lost cause. obama . . . . . dont forget who you are working for . . . the ordinary americans, not the military industrial complex
