people dont pray to the Holy Spirit, like when or as if praying to God.

The role and function of the Holy Spirit is making things happen and/or possible.
It enables another and/or others, to achieve an end, mission or purpose
It does this by giving power, means, competence or ability to accomplish or excel

The Father is greater than Jesus and Jesus is greater than the Holy Spirit
Where Jesus obeys the Father unquestioningly, the Holy Spirit obeys the Father and Jesus unquestioningly.
Where Jesus does the will of the Father unquestioningly, the Holy Spirit does the will of the Father and Jesus unquestioningly.
In summation Jesus is greater than the Holy Spirit

In John 14:28 Jesus clearly states, The Father (Jehovah) is greater than Him but never mentioned the relationship between him and the Holy Spirit. In fact, I can't see anywhere in the Bible Jesus speaks about Holy Spirit being God.
Jesus always talks about Himself being in The Father and vice versa.

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

There are many other Bible verses Jesus only speaks about himself and the Father but never talks about the Holy Spirit until He said he'll send a comforter.

The above is Jesus' description of the Holy Spirit (He called him a Helper) which would be sent by God...

How come people refer to Holy Spirit as God ? and If He's God, is He greater than Jesus ?

They are Co-equal because they are One and the same God, just different manifestations of Him depending on the need and responsibility that had to be fulfilled.

The Holy Spirit is however the Unlimited Jesus Christ. He is actually the Spirit of Christ.
As a human/flesh, Jesus Christ was limited. His Power could only be manifested where He physically was.
But as the Holy Spirit, His power is available everywhere in the world and beyond at the same time, every time.

It means to accept Him not only as your saviour but most especially as your Lord.
Most Christians do not understand what the Lordship of Christ entails.
A Lord is your Master and Boss.
Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord makes you recognise His ordinances and commandments as important instructions to follow. Also it means you accept His will over yours.
Although He is the type of Lord that will never impose His will, He gives us the will to make our own choice.
Unfortunately we often think our will is better than His and end up not trusting Him enough to patiently wait for Him to do His will.

Yet His will is the only Perfect will and His thoughts for us are Good always.
He only tests and trains us to eliminate all the bad habits and iniquities in us so that by the time the trial is over, a refined gold is produced out of us. A refined, transformed and glorious version of us that we never knew existed is produced, if only we can patiently wait and endure.

And never despise the gathering of saints. Join God's ministry by being a worker in your local assembly. This builds stewardship, servitude, humility and accountability.

Jesus Christ had to come, die and resurrect just to release the Holyspirit to us.

There's so much I can't explain here. Cos the understanding is quite deep.
But it's His Mercy and Compassion I earlier spoke of.
Abraham believed God and it was accounted to Him as righteousness.

I hope you will come to see Him as a Just and Loving God and not the wicked one. He has no wickedness in Him.

Same way a criminal would say the police is wicked for shooting dead a criminal or say the judge was wicked for passing a death sentence on their partner that was apprehended.

I likewise used to think God was wicked just last year when I was still living in sin. Today by His Grace, I see Him very differently. I know He is not only good, He is Goodness. He not only loves, He is Love.

If you want to know Him more, and I hope you will, you just have to choose to. That is your Will Power.
You have to choose to repent, choose to overcome sin. Choose to know Christ more. Try to go to church to know Him better.
You will find more answers to so many questions that neither I nor any pastor can give you. Because You will receive the Holy Spirit and He will teach you all things, precept by precept, line by line according to your desire and His guidance.

To God, all sins are equal because they are all an act of disobedience and they corrupt His Perfect plan, the Perfect nature of the man he created.

The next is to genuinely turn to Christ for solution.
Decide and be deliberate that you want to know Christ personally.

I didn't overcome it in one day but in months God took absolute control.

He's always ready and willing to do the same for everyone, for as many as turn to Him genuinely.

Growing up, rape was clear to me.

I have re-read these stories, translated it to my native language, played this in my head, re-enacted the scenarios, and it still doesn't add up.

Until I realised some time some where some one decided to change the definition of rape.
Yes, a single word was introduced to the definition of rape and nothing would ever be the same again.
The word is "Consent".

Since rape became redefined to mean any sex that was non consensual, every sexual relations has become a legal affair.
Once a lady decides even in the middle of pre-intimacy or even the sex itself that she suddenly wants to stop, you have no choice but to scream "hot pickles" so your brain sends the signal to all your hormones and sexual organs to freeze. And you better hope it does cos you might be playing with jail time.

But let's be real. Who then isn't a rapist?
Who then isn't a victim of rape?

More men have even been raped than women if consent is the defining factor.

Lust cannot be carnally overcome. It can only be postponed carnally.
To overcome lust, you need Christ.
You need His Word.
You need to confront your lustful yearnings by confessing the Word of God anytime the urge comes. How?
You look for the scriptures that talk about overcoming lust, that talk about the destructive power of lust, formication and adultery. Scriptures that make you realise the gravity of its destructive power and those it has destroyed. You envision yourself in their shoes.
You constantly pray and meditate upon them.

You clearly need to choose your associations carefully.
Most of our habits are imbibed socially from our friends, families, online and colleagues.
If you want to stop drinking, clearly you have to stop being in companies that go to drinking joints.
And for sex, minimize interactions with friends, families and collegues that glorify and celebrate fotication and adultery.

Also, if you are in a sexual relationship, you know what to do. You have to talk about it. If your partner can't stop (which is almost always the case) you have to terminate the relationship. It is ungodly and will destroy you.

In short as aptly put, FLEE FROM ALL APPEARANCE OF EVIL

For sexual immoralities that are privately destroying our generation, viz masturbation and homosexualism.
Clearly same applies.
Stop watching movies that subtly colonise you into homosexualism viz Empire, Modern Family, etc

Delete pornographic materials from phones and laptops. This cannot be over-emphasized.

Religious Tolerance

How can I tolerate your religion when we have been taught we are enemies?
How can I tolerate you when all we see in each other is not our common grounds but our differences?
How can we tolerate each other when we were raised to hate each other?
How can we tolerate each other when we kill each other while we were created to heal each other?
How can we tolerate each other when we can't even relate with each other?

I know what to do.
Our problem is not each other.
Our problem is the middle man.
Our problem is we keep listening to those teaching us about each other when we can easily learn to know each other.
The problem is prejudice.

The solution to religious intolerance is knowledge, respect, patience and love.

What do you know of me?

Can I ask you if it's true?

Where there is no communication, there is assumptions and miscommunication.
Assumptions rarely produce anything good.

One awesome thing about the time is the cross referencing, in so many part of the gospel, we see verses such as, that it might be fulfilled that which was spoken by a Prophet long ago. I love it whenever I read the books of Acts, I believe that where the blueprint of Christianity is, how the Church today should live their life. Acts 7 is one of my favorite, together with Acts 10(Evangelism) and Acts 19 (Discipleship) He said, make disciples of all nations, I have learnt so much by asking questions. I don't know if you would find that information helpful, why I said them, I cannot tell.
