I just hope God directs a pet lover or someone who would appreciate mine even if he doesn't naturally like them. I just love those cute little dogs. Their loyalty is what trips me. Some Lagos tenants are funny set of people. It happened to me too, as in adjacent room and the funny thing was that we use to greet fine. I was suprised to here from another neighbour who heard from another neighbour one week later that the woman has given birth. I only asked after her cos i didn't see for some time. Well i did not say anything till about one month later when i saw the woman in a shop outside the compound with the baby that i congratulated her. I believe in respect and treating your fellow human the way you would want them to treat you! They only told a few selected neighbours: so if they don't see me as their neighbour, y should i c them as one?

Mr BrownJAY, HIV is a DEATH SENTENCE if not managed on time. I have seen lots and lots of people living with that stuff. If you find out on time, you will be able to manage it and still live a very very comfortable normal life but it is a certified ticking C4 Explosive when the carrier doesn't know its HIV and continues treating Malaria and Typhoid repeatedly. Remember this woman here did not ask for it, she could be your sister.

we all know how some people have deep rooted fear of dog due to something that happened to them in their childhood, so you first have to try to understand why that person is against a pet like that.
if you tell your man that this is what you want and he is telling you that he will poison the pet if you bring one, then i will say that you have a SERIOUS problem on your hands.

here is what it clearly says to me: he married you now (he got you), so he doesnt need to pretend to be who he is not, and to HELL with any of your desires. life is just about HIM and he will do anything to make sure that it stays that way.

In the course of my profession i have seen lots of people with HIV and what it does to them.
When i was living and working in Lagos- Ketu, i did ante natal screening for a young lady in her mid twenties. She was already due for delivery. She tested positive to HIV, the repeated 3 more times with different testing kits and fresh samples from her. I re traced her records to when she started the ante natal (wasn't working there yet) and discovered she has been testing negative. Meaning she was infected by her husband in her 3rd trimester. Now what do you think of such a man?

Hi, in a situation where you love pets e.g dog and your life partner or fiance does not, how will you convince him or her to let you own one when you guys are married?
Let me give you an example: before i got married to my ex husband, he knew of my deep love for nature especially foreign pet dogs, bird, flowers. He didn't share the same opinion with me though but said he "may" consider allowing me own a pet dog after we get married and move into a bigger apartment. Well after we got married and moved into a flat with plenty space in the compound to keep a dog, he refused me getting one despite my pleas and the fact that i told him i will personally be responsible for the upkeep. He said he would rather prefer to have a goat as a pet than a dog. He even threatened to poison the dog or bird if i brought any. I eventually didn't.
So peradventure your partner is anti pet, how do you convince him to let you own one or bring the one you already own to his house after marriage?

I agree with you. The woman can be anonymously informed. The woman should be called with a private no and informed. Tell her that her husband MAY have contacted HIV and let go for HIV test and stop having unprotected sex with her husband. The test@monkeyleg is talking about is Seminal fluid analysis. You can have a private one done without your wife knowing. Abstain from sex for up to 5days, at least 3days and go to a very good diagnostic lab. Tell them you want to do Seminal fluid analysis and MCS. You will be given a sterily universal bottle in which you will produce the specimen. Since your wife won't be aware of the test (you can inform her if you want), you will then masturbate and pour the entire e.jaculate (semen) into the bottle. The test is quite a sensitive one so make sure no single drop of semen spills out and note the time you produced the sample and write it on the bottle. So immediately clean up, wrap the bottle with paper and return it to the laboratory. It will take about 30minutes to an hour for the semen to liquefy so you can collect the result of the analysis same day and the rest after 3days. Let the Scientist explain the result to you or you can take it to a doctor. Goodluck.

If you are a true believing christian, you won't even think of cheating on your wife talkless of divorcing her or try to impregnate another woman. If you can afford it, why not try the option of Invitro fertilization. You can discuss with your doctor about the possibility and success rate. Also adoption is there provided u wil both love and treat the child like your own.
