I have this feeling that while washing the bum with water after toileting may be good and most preferred method by some people/tribe, it may not be safe and can even serve as an avenue for the spread of diseases like cholera and others. The reason why i say this is because feacal matter can be trapped under the fingernail and, lodge there for several days unless the person washes his/her hand thoroughly with soap and water. Sadly its from here that the person if suffering from any ailment that can be transmitted via faecal - oral route spreads such disease.
Personally, i love the good old tissue paper method.

Funny thing same thot was going through my mind yesterday. Though food section is now very dry. You hardly see new or updated topic.
Anyway am weaning my baby and its not easy at all with all the cries and all and he is becoming more clingy now.

I will start with this. In my first year in the University, we offered this course -PHYSICS 101. The whole Faculty of Natural Sciences and Basic Medical Science students offered it so the crowd was always much but the lecture hall (AAU) was very small. My friend & course mate stayed in the school hostel (Emotan). On the day we had the course, i spent the previous night with her so i will be able to get a seat inside the hall. By 10pm, my friend went to have her bath, which i assumed was the normal evening bath. So next morning as early as possible while i took water to go to the bathroom, my friend went to brush her teeth. By the time i returned from the bathroom, she was already set for lecture and was about leaving. Confused, i asked her when did she have her bath and so fast for that matter. She boldly said that she had her morning (present day) in advance by 10pm the previous night so all she had to do in the morning was brush her teeth, wash her face, apply make up and off to class.

I can make spring polls and samosa but don't know how to make the others you mentioned above.

Thanks for this clarification. I never knew dowry and brideprice mearnt two different things. Knowledge is indeed power.

Anyway i have a wonderful and the most handsome man in my life. He is everything rolled into one. My pride and source of joy, his coming into my life was just at the right time and of course he came with blessings and favour. Having him was the best thing that ever happened to me and he has shown me true undiluted love.
My son, i love you more than life itself. Your coming to my life is a blessing i will forever cherish. Mum.

If i am in shoes, a moderately furnished 2 bedroom apartment, a not too expensive car followed by a wife (moderate ceremony).
The house comes first because you need a decent home to accommodate your wife, and you know she can get pregnant any time.

The car will be useful to you especially during the marriage and wedding preparations for running around and of course it will still be useful after the wedding.

I once bought a bottle of fernter (am sure you know the drink am referring to), opened it, was about to drink it straight from the bottle when the person i was with quickly stopped me. Reason: there was a bent cover bottle inside.

A friend of mine never drinks from any bottle except the drink is clear like sprite. Reason: she drank dead rotten cockroach from a bottle of malt.

I have witnessed a situation where someone who already drank the first half from a bottle of black beer, was pouring the remaining into the small tumbler when debris from inside the bottle poured into glass. Of course the man induced himself immediately and vomited all he had already drank. I could go on and on.

Its just that you get to find out this nonsense after you have opened the stuffs so you really don't have a case if you want to take the case up.

Well looks like we are many suffering this harassment from airtel. I only use my airtel for browsing but they will never let me be with incessant advert sms and calls. I had to permanently put my phone on silent so as not to be irritated anytime they send their unwanted messages. The annoying thing is that the nos are so many. I get up to 6 advert sms daily and calls from 141 and two other airtel no.

Glo was doing same thing too but i had to blacklist the nos: 4040, 5050 and one other no.
Its really frustrating.

The reason i said the op should also extend the search to other sites is for her to see different recipes with different methods, most especially the sauce: different food sites have different recipes for sauce.
For someone like u and i, we already know all about it and can easily think of any kind of sauce we want but for a beginner, she needs all the information and ideas she can get to try her hands on and remember she said she wants to open a pizzeria so she has to know different ways of making pizza sauce.

Pizza dough is the easiest dough to make. All she need do is follow the instructions.

Just type in "Pizza" in the search box and you'll get loads of recipes.
There're also reviews on the recipes from people who've tried them.
You don't need to go to a culinary school to learn how to make Pizza.
You can teach yourself and that's a great site to help you do just that.

Lots of people especially we, Nigerians don't know what a gift the internet is. I learnt how to make pizza from scratch and lots of snacks and food types from the net.
Op to get a large info on pizza, after trying the all recipes site, go to google and type pizza and sauce. You will get thousands of materials on it. The good thing i like about pizza is that you use just about anything of your choice as your topping.

My greatest challenge was my decision to keep and carry my pregnancy and live alone all through after my ex husband and i seperated when i was 2months pregnant for him. And he left to live with his girlfriend. My son is 6months old now and i am the strongest and happiest woman on earth!
My next challenge which i believe i will scale through with God on my side will be to choose the main Mr right wisely cos they are already coming.

Since you knew your fiance lives in Abuja, why didn't you look for job there? Am sure you knew he would object to distant marriage so why bother with Lagos in the first place?
