Guys, don't try this at home. His father is whom you can call Mr. Nigeria. His father is the present NSA (think of Dasuki former position). And this same father has been the NSA to like four presidents in recent time, the only exception is during Jonathan's regime when he was replaced with Col Dasuki (now in jail).

Anyways, congrats to him.
Exactly, I knew he must be well connected! Na them dey rule Nigeria, na them dey continue rule Nigeria. lol

Just negodu undecided

Naija people sabi overdo things shaa. Even with all this yahoo drama, we still don't even rank 1st five for global internet fraud.

Whilst other badass nations try to undertone their ills on media, we prefer to advertise our mediocrity.

You manage collect 1000usd come dey form yahoo chairman when the real fraudsters silently mine your national resources.

I have a 19years old Russian friend who programs high-end tech softwares.
They are so funny, instead of some of them to open a reputable business and run their fraud low key, they won't.. They will just be making noise anyhow. A typical naija way. Always making noise and showing off.

The regions were also centers of tribalism, corruption and opression. There is a reason why we have states now...and it just wasn't Gowon spiting Ojukwu.

Erm, we have had cases where people of different tribes have been prosecuted by people from other tribes. Hausas inclusive.

Plus, if we were to take your argument to its logical conclusion, every tribe in Nigeria...250 of them, would be a country or a region...so that we can have 'justice'.

And yes, she should be arrested. Plus, the same happened under PDP. Lots of PDP people committed crimes, and got away with it.

Your problem is that you want your favoured poltician to escape prosecution. Me I want everyone to be prosecuted. PDP or APC.

And under the regions there was the same old ethnicity issues, big tribes dominanting small tribes. That's a big reason why we had 1) the Midwest Region created in 1963 2) Agitation for a Middle Belt region before 1966...which later ended up in state creation 3) Issues with Biafra...where small tribes complained of domination by the Igbo majority. ....something which Ojukwu did not do much about...and which led to Biafra getting defeated eventually.

Plus, all the regions were dependent onexporting raw materials and sharing the money. That's not a sustainable econonic means of development....just like our dependence on oil. Storng nations develop industrialy.

And that is why we have a national assembly to agitate for such stuff....and why you Nigerians should put pressure on your rep to make the necessary legal changes. Sadly, a few of us do that...because Nigerians are lazy when it regards their democracy.
All that u wrote, i wasnt interested until u said, i want my favorite politician not to be persecuted. Like fucking seriously? Me? God forbid. What i hate is not persecuting ur loyal politicians. That will never make Nigeria to work.

And that pdp did it does not justfiy why apc should be doing it. People voted apc becus they were tired of how pdp was handling issues, yet apc came and continued where pdp stopped. does that make sense to u?

Any ways, since nigeria has no solution, my prayer is even for other countries to keep denying Nigerians, including their leaders, VISA.

China , India, even Russia and the UK would like to disagree with you.

How about Somalia...98% Somali, 99% Muslim, 100% UNDERDEVELOPED.

You Nigerian's problem is in the way you percieve your economy. You think that the raw materials are meant to be sold and the revenues shared and spent on importing stuff.Stop thinking that way, and you would go froward.

And you want to divide Nigeria? You think it would just stop at Oodua, Arewa and Biafra? You think that other tribes too don't want self determination as well??
Nigeria achieved greater things when she operated a regional based system of govt. The major issue with Nigeria is that the people are corrupt and it is hard to persecute corrupt people due to deep ethnic sentiment.

I can tell u, it will be easier for the Yorubas to persecute a yoruba man under a yoruba nation, than an Hausa man to persecute a yoruba man.

Take a look at what happened under the ex minister for finance. She committed a crime, but becus she was in good book, she was helped to run out of the country. That has been the problem of Nigeria. Favorism, this will reduce when the country is structured into nations. We must not break up but with nations inside state, the northerner will not kill to be the president. The igbos will not die to be president, everyone will focus on their own region and sort them selves out. They can decide how to select their leaders there. For instance, some states do not sell alcohol in their state but still get VAT from companies that sell alcohol.

Under regional based system, Nigeria achieved better. This current system wont work. We all know we must reduce how we import goods. but the leaders u see today are more ethnic conscious than progress. And sadly, states do not have much control to develop on their own. Take electricity for instate, I know Lagos can take care of her own electricity but due to the system we have here, she cant.

Also, some states would av fixed their own seaports but due to the system we run here, they cant. FG is in 100% incharge of the waterways. The issue was even brought up at national assembly. As it is, Nigeria will only keep getting worse and Nigerians will keep running to other countries.

Continue asking silly questions.

INEC is an independent body.

When INEC sought to introduce card readers for the use of the 2015 elections, the PDP resisted it and even put pressure on the ousting of Jega the INEC chairman.

https://www.nairaland.com/2141241/presidency-pdp-reject-card-reader
But Jonathan had the power to refuse signing that into law and nothing would have happened. Just the way Buhari refused to sign the electoral bill into law and nothing happened.

Give credit when there is one. Some people rejected it but he, GEJ still signed it into law. There were many recommendations made by INEC under Buhari but he didnt sign them into law.
