It is sad; however, these laws exist because there are some seriously perverted minds in this wicked evil world.
Especially in that area. i am still considering opening a wax parlour in lagos but i doubt whether Nigerian women will want to wax their pubic hairs. They are too timid, you know.
I am too timid too. I would do it for a kid in this extreme situation, but I cant have strange hands down there on me embarassed
FamilyRe: What Will You Do? by prittigrrr(f): 3:56pm On Mar 11, 2009
They do have hair removal creams but I would not want a child of 9 to administer them. They are very strong and harsh. They will severely irritate skin in the crease of the thighs if placed there. They also can cause serious problems if they get too close to the folds of the labia. The creams are tricky for adults so I wouldnt advise it for a child.
FamilyRe: What Will You Do? by prittigrrr(f): 1:01pm On Mar 11, 2009
At day spas and some high end salons they do bikini waxes. They wax and trim the hair in the bikini area. I dont think they remove all the hair but they remove hair that would peek out of the bikini area and trim the other hair.
FamilyRe: What Will You Do? by prittigrrr(f): 1:25am On Mar 11, 2009
Yes, $30 for a wax is better than jail, especially being jailed as a sex offender. Sex offenders often have to register and are listed as such for at least 10 years. No one will hire you and many will know your whereabouts and may protest your living near them. The guy could easily lose the child. He needs to exercise extreme caution.
FamilyRe: What Will You Do? by prittigrrr(f): 5:00pm On Mar 10, 2009
I only suggested salons, etc. becuz I know the danger the guy is in. Again, if this story was repeated @ school to the wrong teacher, he would DEFINITELY be investigated in my state and likely be charged. Suspicion of abuse MUST BE reported by ANY ADULT OR THAT ADULT CAN BE CHARGED WITH A CRIME. The guy can either pay $20-$35 for a wax or be charged as a sex offender, lose his job, and pay $200 per hour and up in legal fees to prove he is only an innocent father. A word, to the wise, is sufficient.

FamilyRe: Relationship Between Wives and Mothers-In-Law by prittigrrr(f): 2:18pm On Mar 09, 2009
For this cause shall leave his father and MOTHER and CLEAVE to his wife. The problem with mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is a love triangle: two women are in love with the same man. The man needs to explain to mom that he loves her but he has promotion from God. Husband is a higher calling and responsibility than son. However, he has enough love for both women in his life. The wife should support the husband's love for his mom and encourage him to continue to call and visit his mom. Many problems can be avoided with common sense and wisdom.
FamilyRe: What Will You Do? by prittigrrr(f): 1:07pm On Mar 06, 2009
The dad also needs to explain to the girl that she is becoming lady and that it is no longer proper for others to see or touch her private parts with the exception of doctors or the ladies at the salon that they may go to for trims. If not, the child sounds a bit trusting, and someone may prey on her innocence. Also, who does the child's hair? The stylist may be able to recommend a good salon for the trim or bikini wax.
FamilyRe: What Will You Do? by prittigrrr(f): 11:52pm On Mar 05, 2009
I am an American woman dating a Nigerian man who is widowed with a young daughter. If he asked me to shave her, I would take time try to teach the child. However, I would advise him to NEVER do this again because it could lead too SO MUCH TROUBLE here in the US. I am a lawyer and sometimes work child abuse cases and most court officials would not look favorably on this shaving by the father or girlfriend for that matter. So, what to do? Advise the guy to take the child to a day spa or salon for a bikini wax or trim. It is expensive and may be costly but worth EVERY PENNY to avoid trouble with officials, This description sounded so much like my guy except for the city and the fact that my guy is not hairy. I feel for the guy. It is tough!, So there are some American ladies who would do this for a guy. I love my guy and would hate for him to go thru this alone.

why do so many question the truth of the orignal post based upon someone else's behavior? We won't all respond the same way to the same things.

Why is she being condemned for posting on a forum? Last I checked we all post under a username so what attention does she gain by posting under an assumed handle? I feel this platform is perfect for what she originally asked. She makes far less than her man and she wants creative ideas abt pleasing and thanking him. She did not ask for commentary about whether he was a good guy or whether he is legit. @ OP, do not feel you have to respond to attacks and comments that are not responsive to your original post.

Poster, it seems all he REALLY WANTS IS YOU, so give it to him! One night when he comes over, arrive at the door with lingere he has never seen and have a huge bow tied around ur neck, waist or somewhere else on your body. Have his fav meal ready and have a bow on his place setting (flowers and candlelight wd b nice 2--I know women like this stuff more than guys but u want to show how much trouble u went to). Have a dessert of strawberries and cream and chocolate with the items gift wrapped. Maybe give a massage. I think you can guess the rest. Keep ur mind open and give him thank you dates every 2-3 months or so. I am sure he will feel appreciated. The trick is to take time to make him feel appreciated fully just for being him.

RomanceRe: My Husband Cheated On Me by prittigrrr(f): 7:45pm On Feb 25, 2009
I say stay but 4 a different reason than most posters. I also question the man's sincerity when he says he wants to leave because he doesn't deserve his wife. That is counterintuitive. I think the guy knows you love him and is feigning despair to the point of wanting to leave because he wants to make u feel sorry for him. He probably only told you this because of the STD issue. He could have had many women and only told you about this one because he could not hide an STD forever. Forgive him and give him another chance but watch him carefully and if it happens again, let it go. You want to give it your best so if it doesnt work, you can end it with a clear conscience. Also, dont depend tooo much on sexing the man to 'take his strength' as others have suggested. If he wants to cheat he will summon the energy no matter what.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: I Met A Girl Online: Is Dating Online Real. by prittigrrr(f): 4:36pm On Feb 17, 2009
Online dating is fun but I think u shd view it as 'online introduction'. If you can not meet in person within a month or so of meeting online, I think u should consider the person a friend and not a prospective suitor. If u meet later and 'click', greeat! If not, u have a fun pen pal. Love ought not be discussed until u can observe the person face to face over time.

EducationRe: 30 Yrs And Yet Not Done Ssce by prittigrrr(f): 12:01pm On Feb 14, 2009
@ Poster: I hope this story will give you ecouragement. My great uncle was 18 yrs old and about to graduate high school here in the US. This was in the 1940s. My uncle was from the rural (country) area and black kids were only allowed to school part of the year. When the family moved 2 the city, he was demoted and put in the 6th grade, a grade for 11 yr olds. He was so much older than everone else that folks used to tease him and ask my grandaddy what grade he taught @ school. Well, he worked hard and excelled. Then he was drafted to serve in World War II. This delayed his high school again. He finished serving in the war and went back to high school. He married a young girl who was a student and they kept their marriage secret. Well, it was a secret until she got pregnant. He finally graduated high school @ 26. 8 years older than everyone else. He went full time to university and left his wife and baby at home to pursue his degree in another city. He was so poor he had 2 sleep in classrooms on floors
RomanceRe: Does Inter Racial Marriage Last? by prittigrrr(f): 4:56pm On Feb 13, 2009
@ Outlaws

I understand your frustration with America and racism. I was born and raised here and it is a racist society. However, the beauty of America is this: no matter what obstacles are thrown in your way, you make the difference in rising above them. You rise to the occasion and make it work. I come from a long line of people to whom education was everything. Though they had the education, they were many times held back from performing at the levels to which they could have. Did they let it make them sour? NO! They pushed us and lived their lives in spite of the obstacles. They achieved successes that were unheard of by blacks in their day and their kids have gone to Harvard, Welsley, Emory and many other great schools. Many of their kids went to historically black colleges as well and we are now doctors, lawyers, stock brokers, business people, government workers and on and on. Yes racism exists but I always tell my white friends, I am used to being underestimated. I have been black all my life and I refuse to let others define me or limit me and my goals and desires.

Now as to more interacial couples that have succeeded: I forgot the ones in my own family! My aunt is married to an Iranian man for 23 years now with 2 kids. A wonderful couple. Another cousin has a white mate for about 25 years. A friend's brother has been married to a white lady for 7 years now with 2 kids. My aunt's brother in law has been with a white woman for at least 17 years. As to the marriages that failed, I have 2 friends with sons who married white ladies and they failed and in each case, from the outside looking in, it appears the men wanted to marry the women but date other women, so who do I blame on that. Marriage in this country is an endangered species and cheating is the order of the day for some.

I have dated white before and it was like dating any other man in many respects with a few exceptions but I just prefer black men. Any marriage can make it black or white, interracial or not if the two parties commit to one another and to the marriage first and choose to love one another with all they have.
