Soludo CFR said that armed criminals have been operating as
kidnappers, rapists, etc. for close to two years from camps set up in
Aguluezechukwu and Oboji. The security personnels in the state
clamped on them and in the process of fleeing, decided to set Aguata
LGA headquarters ablaze. He reiterated his stance on offering amnesty
to those in the bush, so they can be rehabilated and become useful to
the society but stressed that those who refuse the offer shall face the
full wrath of the Law because they can't intimidate the people of
Anambra State.
Mr Governor further revealed that 85% of these criminals are from a
particular state in South East while the remaining 15% come from other
states. Items recovered in their camps are registers of kidnapped
victims, weapons, charms, etc. Prof Soludo assured the people that
peace and stability must return in Anambra and SouthEast. "Anybody in
the bush is a criminal and will be treated as such. We will come after
criminals because the people's power must triumph. We must create a
liveable and prosperous homeland where peace, security and progress
must thrive".

Does nationalising those companies guarantees supply of gas and oil from Russia. Will it not make Russia cut off completely? However, if the intensuon is to nationalise so that banks believe they are dealing with Germany instead of Russia, then maybe there is a bit of sensebif not, makes no sensse to me because those companies do not generate gas they only get what comes from Russia. instead

Yes you can discipline. Matter of fact I do that to my kids all the time. They're are several effective ways that we as parents can discipline our kids. The word discipline itself comes from discipleship.. Meaning to teach.
Flogging, hitting or causing physical harm to a child is not discipline.
There's a thin line between how we discipline kids in Africa and child abuse. That's why lots of kids in Africa dont have self confidence. They don flog their confidence commot for their body.
The first thing I noticed since relocating abroad is that kids here are very self confident. They can look you in the eye and have a very good conversation with you.
I know liberals here in the US will rather have their kids run in autopilot mode which is very wrong but just like I said we can take the best of both worlds and raise our kids accordingly.
This is one of the major reason why 1st generation immigrants kids usually do way better than American kids.

I try to look for the best of both cultures and raise my kids accordingly and I consider them to be very lucky. They're so many good and bad sides in the African way of raising kids and so it is also in the western world.

I have been married for almost a year but my marriage has been 30% sweet and mostly 70% bitter because I have an unforgiven wife who is ONLY concerned about what I said and did wrong but NEVER concern about what I did right.

She gets offended easily, keeps malice and gives me silent treatment at home. I've had private conversation with her MORE THAN 10 TIMES on how to find a lasting solution to wherever issues she has with me instead of her constant fault finding and malice. I asked her to tell me one or more reason why she said that but her response was NOTHING. She's practically creating space between us. She does her thing alone and does not carry me along in any thing and she wants same from me.

She is doing everything to make the marriage stop while I have been the one sustaining and making the marriage work out. Her parents are not helping matters coz they are not giving me listening ears and have a way of supporting their daughter by twisting whatever I say to suite them.

B4 we got married, we had quarrel and misunderstandings as other couples do and said abusive words to ourselves which we settled b4 our wedding day and I assume we have forgiven and forgotten about it. But with the look of things, my wife is tied to the past and will keep remembering what I said and did wrong in the past and she allows the past deed affect our present.

Sadly, her unforgiving attitude and never ending resentment is badly affecting our marriage presently. I have tried everything possible within my capacity to rekindle back her love for me & for the sake of our marriage and 3 months baby boy. I suggested that we go out to a cool place just the two of us alone but her response is NO. She even said I can go out and have sex with anyone that she doesn't want SEX for now.

NOTE: I am the one paying all the bills at home coz she's presently jobless. Yet, I am not complaining. She is not stressed up as some may think coz there are helpers at home taking care of her and the baby. Please! What can I do to put a stop to this shit. It's affecting my emotion and psychology.

Taking him for a test is not my problem. Their mother is against it. I cannot do that without her support. And the thought of moving to Nigeria was just a thought. We both have been chewing on that for a while now. Raising kids in this environment, particularly in today's US, is not as easy as you think. When I grew up in Nigeria, I had teachers who would flog the daylights out of you for misbehaving in class, and once you get home, you will get additional cane. I know how many times my dad broke cables on my back for misbehaving in school, and that is after I got punished by my teachers. Those beatings straightened me out and made me who I am today. Here, teachers cannot lay their hands on kids as they can be arrested for abusing the child. I've seen it play out several times and it is not pretty. Even the good ol' "ass whopping" families give their kids when they misbehave is frowned on as one nosy neighbor can call child services and report that you're abusing your kids.

. Very pathetic. That's the one reason why I have refused to join my older brother who advised me to come over to Canada. I can't watch my kids grow in a society where kids are raised without African discipline. African discipline helped me a lot in becoming responsible in life. I can't deny my kids such a good thing, especially as we are in a decaying world.
