Allaboutkatiee: Wicked I don't think she was wrong to go for another guy Maybe the guy has been cheating My thoughts tho I seriously doubt that, why go through the trouble of accumulating money for marriage, only to handover all the money to lady to plan their wedding. What you saw there was trust, and people that cheat hardly trust their partner to such a degree. |

bianconerriii: I have been dating this lady for a year plus and we are taking it to the next level. Her parents like me and have encouraged her to settle down. On the other hand, I took her to my parents and they told me she isn’t the one for me. Reason being that she parties a lot and probably pretending just to rope me in. They told me “if you so choose to continue, you do not have our blessings”.
In honesty, she indeed likes to party at any giving opportunity. I’ve spoken to her about it and she is willing to change. Two of my close friends have adviced me to stay clear of her because people hardly change. I’m in the biggest dilemma of my life so far. Ignore my parents advice and regret later or listen and just let her go in peace? Tell her you are not sure of marrying her, because your reasons, then give her time and see what happens. Marriage is a lifelong contract, you must be ruthless when choosing a partner. You are a Juve fan you saw how CR7 dumped Madrid ruthlessly (pun intended) |

After a 7 years Relationship and helping a girl through school,a guy has been working hard to save money for their wedding, when he finally raised reasonable amounts good enough for their wedding,he gave his girlfriend to organize a wedding of her choice .She suddenly started acting up and told the guy she wasn’t ready, that she needed some time alone to think. What the poor guy didn’t know was that.. She had used the money to support another man in which she's been seeing behind her boyfriend. When he got the news that she was getting married,he organized guys to the wedding venue and destroyed everything. Did he do the right thing? Yes, he did the wrong thing.... He should have sent thugs to shoot her multiple times but be very careful not hit any vital organs, then rush her to the hospital, We don't need her to die in a hurry without regretting it, do we? |

lanre9ja: After my friends send some signal into her sense she later apologize for peace to regine but still yet no sense of guilty which is my main concern Then you guys need to talk, matters like this can't be swept aside with a mere apology (and peace to reign), cos it's bound to happen again, relationship should about knowing your partners elastic point staying off it, you don't like what she does tell her, and you do something she don't like she should tell you, if things are not spelt out clearly they will be constant offenders because no one knows what strikes a cord in the other person, because you guys don't know each other. A real relationship is not a work in the park, some of us come from different backgrounds, you just have to define who you are to her, and let her do same so that you guys will stop stepping on each others nerve. And if after the heart to heart talk (or rant) happens, and it repeats itself, you guys should free each other. |

lanre9ja: To brief the whole story.. on 15 DEC this month we both have a plan to attend a friend wedding which we agree to meet at a fix point by 11am. Around 10.59am i called her that am waiting, after which i was left stranded for two and half hours, and she never feel guilty and after telling her to even apologize, she claim she will never cuz its not her fault. After asking two of her friends to talk to her. have made up my mind not to harbor or marry someone i can't control...... note: its not her first time, she is so stubborn mature advice, plz. You have to leave the relationship, you will be glad you did trust me. They say death is the cousin of sleep. What you saw is the tip of the iceberg of what she is really about. She as shown you a glimpse of who she is, I think you should ask your self that question - will you settle for woman that's like this? Therein lies the answer you are looking for. |

badfuckerz: I have a girl I love and wanted to take things serious with her she also confess to love me but she can't double date and that her parent has warned her about the current relationship to the extent that the family has sort spiritual assistance base on the sign they are seeing from the guy in which all came out to say the guy is just wasting this girl time. I told her if she is in doubt I can arrange my family to meet her family since both of us are family friends. She said she can't leave the guy until the guy leave her .this relationship is a distant relationship in which they only see the themselves whenever she visited lag cos the guy is Lagos. she told me the guy has not been financially responsible for anything to her in which I have taken the burden on myself.even to the extent the guy was not in support of the girl to work for herself and yet he is not giving her anything. Now I observe that despite me calling her daily and even sending monthly data to her she only called or message me whenever she need my assistance for something. I just thought of it that I am been fooled and irrespective of how close I am to her I am cutting her off. Normally I would say you...... Wait... Whats that on your moniker? EmekaBlue: Please ignore my grammatical blunders. Thanks
This morning we started our normal greeting conversation and somehow the topic of public/private school came up because of her younger brother who is currently at home from the university because of the ongoing strike.
To cut the long story short, She said, Baby we will never allow our children go to public school and i said no strike in Nigeria will last long again like those days we had over 8months strike, We started arguing, then I told her OK....If God bless us with a girl and a boy, she will send the girl to her private puppish schools and train her to be a barbie doll or slay queen in future but Ma Boy must be left for me to handle...I will send him to a military primary and secondary school and then a public university like FUTO, FUTMINNA or other good ones....This got her mad and now she wants to break up with me because she said she cant trade her children future for anything.
But seriously, I cant also watch my boy become so soft and ajeboish kinda. I need a strong man to represent me when Im gone and I also think this kinda wife will be so demanding of high things and if I cant provide might cause alot of problems in our marriage
Should I go on with her or accept the breakup? Luckily for you can see the writing on the wall @ bolded. If you need your son(s) to be strong men, that will have to start from you. And what makes a strong man is the ability to take tough decisions, and the opportunity has presented itself to you make one. |

the language which a person has grown up speaking from early childhood. If the guy is so keen about dating/marrying someone that speaks his native language, he should have communicated to her in his native language the first time they met and make his decision there and then. The man is just looking for a way out. I only feel sorry for the lady for the 8 years wasted with this fool, the man should just compensate her and let her be on her way. |

Go to school you guys wouldn't now look at nzuzu So it's the mother that invented the language she now speaks, shiit for brains like you forget that not all women grew up with their mothers, some women women wear raised by their grand mothers. Its illiterates like you that think a single women owns a language spoken by an entire tribe. So if the children are required to learn Ibo and they end up learning Ibo without the help of the mother, that will not be accepted? No it won't be accepted for you fault finding illiterates. |

olsome: Though I apologised to her for what I did, indeed, I kind of devalued her alot. I still need to apologise again if I see her.
All this one you people are writing "good girls love bad guys, and nice guys take leftover"... Haha!! I have dealt with two ladies heavily because they ain't virgins. One had to tell her mum to pick her up from school because of the pain I caused her on virginity. I apologized to her though!!!
It's not that I cannot marry a non-virgin, I can marry a non-virgin, but all these "nice guys & bad guys" gist, makes me feel bad. it is like being good is not worth it.
Pls just be careful so you don't convert future loving husbands into aggressive people with all these nonsense of "we love bad guys". Is loving bad guys in the Bible or quaran?? So should we leave what God wants & forcefully convert ourselves to bad guys what trash is that!!! We are looking for a better society, so do not make people who are sweating it out to make life good, look like fools...
Let me just hear the girl I love say "I love bad guys", that day the love go drop. Still trying to find the sense in the post. |

PigMeat: I have noticing and experiencing this character of some female folks I don't know if anyone has experienced it too. I have this girl in my lodge at school that will leave her room only to come and sleep in my room and it was like that for long, at a time people started thinking we were up to something else whereas we were just cool and nothing attached. Any day my male friends comes around and decides to spend the night in my house she becomes restless and decides to seek for where to sleep, she will call her friends to let them know that she is coming to spend the night in their house. Since she rented her apartment she has never slept alone, except when her friends visits with her. She rarely sleep in her apartment. I have asked so many times why she can't just sleep alone for even a night but she will never tell me. The other day I visited a far relative in the same school she was telling me how her parents will call to ask her about how she has been managing sleeping alone, she will tell them that she has been trying, whereas she doesn't even sleep in her room, she sleeps in her neighbour's room. I was suprise to notice this character in her too, I thought it was reduced to the lady in my "compound" alone. I have Choosen to pro-actively make a survey on this very issue and most of the ladies I encountered never admitted they could sleep in a room alone, even most of the ones that admitted they could were not sacrosanct in their convinction enough, I think they were only trying to save face.
THE QUESTION IS: what is the reason why most ladies can't sleep alone? Are u a lady? Can u sleep alone? Benwems: More answers are needed. I noticed it back then in school. It's threads like this that makes Nairaland a den for breeding ignorance. |
