This is common in Nigeria alot. Especially among Nigerian girls. If a stranger let's you go, without asking for your contacts. Does it mean, they are not serious or that they were never interested? They would only ask for your name e.g my name is Pascal or my name is Frank or my name is Chris. After you have approached her. After that, they would not bother to collect your contact e.g Facebook, Phone Number, Instagram, House Address. But she will give you her own. 7 out of 10 times, she will tell you before hand, that her phone number is not going. Because her phone is bad (which is actually true and not an excuse in most cases). It is also common when you want to apply for something. They will tell you to go home and come back later. That so and so is not around. But they will not bother to ask you, to submit one or two things. So they can use it in contacting you. Knowing fully well that you may be tempted, not to come back. But if you were a wanted criminal (like Lawrence Anini), or you want to withdraw a cheque etc. They will ask for your house address, phone number, signature, B.V.N and even take your national ID. If possible, they will even want to eat you

Spend your time to make yourself a better person, in the process you will stop sounding childish like this.

Yes, you are right. The 2016 recession was caused by Jonathan's negligence. Nigeria seems to be heading for another recession by next year and this one will squarely be on Buhari. Global demand for crude oil is diminishing as the whole world's economy slows. This spells doom for Nigeria as Buhari has wasted the last 4 years without making any meaningful change. I believe he has finally realised trouble is on the horizon that is why he is asking the governors for help.


On the matter of this thread. The core Muslim north will always vote for the more religious candidate. This is always a certainty. No election in Nigeria has been won solely based on the core northern vote. you can split Nigeria into 3 political zones.

1. The core north (north-east and north-west): consist of Muslim northerner.
2. The old eastern block (south-east and south-south): consists of Christians. Will only vote for a Christian or moderate Muslim.
3. The middle-belt and south-west: consist of all northern minority groups across all northern states and southwestern states. mixed religiously. will vote based on religious lines but usually tips the scale towards the more popular candidate.

This brief analysis implies that the core northern votes are usually countered by the old eastern block votes. Although the core north has a greater population size, the middle belt and the south-west typically hold the keys to getting elected.

In my opinion, the South-West will shock Buhari and this is Atiku's Joker.

Buhari has done well in trying to tackle recession, remember the best way to tackle recession is for the Federal government to release stimulus packages, hold up the currency and pay for subsidies, but did PDP leave any money for this in the treasury? wasn't PDP already borrowing to pay salaries in the later years of GEJ's government, and what's worse even the borrowed funds were also looted.

It took the US 3 years to get out recession, and trillions of Dollars was released from the US government, you now expect the same feat from Buhari? With which money if I may ask, from oil? At 25$/barrel at less than 300,000 bpd?

The majority blame the hardship we are going through now on Buhari, something PDP has succeeded in doing.

Ability and functionability for example if someone can learns how to play a guitar or the piano by simply listening that person is intelligent. If someone can read music as far as I am concerned they are a cut above someone who speaks English well.

The op must have mistaken being educated for being intelligent, you may be educated but not intelligent. If you are educated then you should/must be fluent in English {AS FAR AS NIGERIA IS CONCERN}, apart from non English subjects every subject in the Nigerian Educational System has their subjects in taught in ENGLISH (its the established standard in all our curriculum) exams set in English, Projects and Field work prepared submitted in English, which needs fluency or else this will be another hurdle.

Requirements from SSE level to Higher Institutions must have be at least a Credit in English this alone has made some students attend extra classes to make good grades in English. Fluency in English must not be the command of big words and grammar, but ability to string together simple words to create acceptable sentences.

As far as Nigeria is concern if you are not fluent in English, then you did not go to school, maybe you did not go to a good one. But then again, THIS IS NIGERIA....

But we can never measure intelligence with mere language, some people will not learn a language they hate, unless it's necessary. But then again few intelligent minds won't learn English if they have the chance, cos intelligent people knows what can help them succeed.

Most intelligent people that are not fluent in English may never have had the chance to learn English, but someone that had the chance to learn English then could not speak/write fluent English (apart from hate barrier) was never intelligent.
