He has more important things to do then the wedding.

Iamagoodgirll:
So I came across this post in a group

NL guys have you experienced this?, also share your view.

I NEED ADVAISE FROM A MALE READERS:

And no, my story is not made up. It’s for real, actually very real. I am a top executive of a very successful conglomerate my father founded. I resumed the job early this year when I returned from the U.K after completing my MBA.
As a result of my job, I usually find myself frequenting places I ordinarily wouldn’t want to- Ikoyi club, society weddings, conferences, etc. I’m a geek for the most part, and something of a recluse. I would rather stay in my house at the end of day and watch TV. When I became Deputy CEO of the company, I realized that I had to start hanging out at these places to build a social circle, mostly for business reasons. I am not a very sociable person, but with the help of my more outgoing cousins, I have been able to build a pretty decent network of Lagos ‘big boys’ between January when I returned and now.

During a conference in Lagos this year, I was approached by a young lady banker. She was working in the Marketing department at one of these banks, She’s pretty young- about 7 years my junior. I’m 28; this lady is about 21. You know how young these graduates are these days.

Anyway, she walked up to me and started persuading me to consider opening up a bank account with her bank and told me all the benefits of the account, etc. She looked so innocent and desperate, and practically begged me for an opportunity to see me again so that she could convince me. I ended up giving her my complimentary card. I usually don’t just give out my card like that, but I did.
Three days later, when I was hanging out with my new-found friends and my cousins at a bar at one of the Hotels on the Island during the early evening, this girl called me and reminded me who she was. She said she really needed me to open an account, and that she was eager to convince me on why I needed to open an account. My friends noticed I was talking to a girl on the phone. You know how guys are; they teased me and asked me to just play around with her and invite her for drinks.
I asked her to come over to the Hotel, and surprisingly, she said she would be there in 20 minutes. The branch she worked in is on the Island, so she apparently took a Bike and came to meet us. This was about 6pm. The girl came, and my friends all saw her. They smiled and talked among themselves in hush tones, and I talked briefly with her for like 5 minutes and told her I would make a decision on banking with her or not. She was desperate from what I could see, and she was eager to get my account.

When she left, my friends all laughed mischievously and told me in plain terms that I had to sleep with the girl. They went on talking about how all these bank marketers sleep with different men before getting deposits, and insisted that I must not be any different. Now, I’m not a virgin; I’ve had my own fair share of sex in the past, but I’ve never been one to take advantage of a girl. I knew she was desperate as she had a target to meet up to, or something of the sort. But when you’re a guy hanging out with guys, it’s pretty difficult to be the odd one out. All my friends made me promise that I’d sleep with the girl. I promised; I didn’t want to look like some geek. And I’m really trying to feel among these guys.

To cut a long story short, two days later, when I was in my office, this girl called me and tried persuading me to bank with her. As she was talking to me on phone, I asked her jokingly: “What are you willing to do in order for me to open an account with you?”

She hesitated and then she told me: “Anything you want sir.”

Gbam! That was my cue. I asked her to meet me at one hotel for drinks later that evening. I asked my PA to book a room for me at the Hotel. She came to meet me. We had drinks, we chatted. She told me that her bosses had ordered her to deliver N10million to the bank that month, and that so far, she hadn’t gotten anything. Her job was on the line, and she had only just started working there 3 weeks before. I asked her to follow me to the room. She did. I slept with her.

Surprisingly, it turns out she was doing it for the first time. She was actually a Virgin. The bed sheet was stained with her blood and all that stuff, and I was just amazed. I thought being a marketer and all, that she would have been sampled many times. But no, she was a virgin. When we finished, she was shy of looking at me in the eye. We didn’t talk much. I gave her money for a Taxi, and gave her the name of the Finance director of the subsidiary I am in charge of. I asked her to meet him the following day to open up a corporate account. I instructed the guy to open up an account worth a few hundreds of millions- probably enough to meet her target for the next 2 years if there is such a thing in commercial banking circles. I don’t know how these banks work.

Anyway, she called me and thanked me profusely for saving her job. My friends now know I have slept with her, and I have solidified my place among them as a ‘bad’ guy.

The issue is this: I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her. It’s been like six weeks now. I haven’t called her since then, even though she keeps sending me text messages asking after my wellbeing and thanking me for banking with her. She deals directly with my Finance guy so we don’t talk money ever. But I think about her every day. I think I actually have feelings for her, and the idea that I was her first makes me feel like she should belong to me. I’ve never been a Lady’s first. I’m actually going crazy with thoughts about this girl.

Am I crazy? Should I call her up and ask her out? How would that feel? How would she react? Also, considering that my friends all see her as the bank ‘LovePeddler’ would it be a good idea to still ask her out? How will my friends see me? I’m not looking for sex from her; I’m looking for something real, something intimate. I want something that’d last- probably forever.

I’ve never felt this way about any other lady in a really really long time. What should I do?
I can remember one of the Novels we used to read back then in secondary school.
It's called Mills & Boon

I hope this tale was not lifted from one of those novels?

Crime › Re: Russian Forces Paedo Who Abused His Daughter To Dig His Grave Before Killing Him by Psoul(m): 11:29am On Sep 23, 2021
This reminded me of what happened in Libya those days.
A non Moslem who was digging well for a Libyan Moslem started making advances to one of the daughters of the man that called him to dig well for him.
The man noticed it and also notice that the guy was always looking at his wife in a lustful way.
The well digger came the next day to continue his well digging.
Unknown to him, the man he was digging the well for had already gathered some youths.
Immediately, he descended into the well, he alerted the youths.
They came out, remove the ladder and bury the man alive inside the well.
Libyans are very heartless.
Just that they noticed a man looking at another man's wife somehow, they rounded him up, brought out his manhood, placed it on big stone and smashed it with another stone.

You’ve come a long way as a tenant and it’s time to build your house. You’ve started searching for designs, calculating how much you need for the project. Look no further, this post is for you.
I will try as much as possible to demystify the cost of building a house in Nigeria.

A list of price of building materials will also be added. This is to help in cost estimates particularly since tastes are different.

However to help us in arriving at a good estimate, i will be taking case studies of a three bedroom apartment built in three locations which includes: Nasarawa, Lagos and Kwara. The building process will be broken into stages and the amount spent will be included.

For those intending to build sit back and relax while i totally Unfold the cost of building a three bedroom apartment here in Nigeria.

You can also contact us if you want your building project done for you from planning stage to completion stage, Or rather you need advice on how to go about your building project.

You can also ask questions in areas not cleared about. Thanks

But first, let us see what is involved when getting a land in Nigeria.
Where is ur location and how can one contact you?

Hello everyone, so it happened that my Dad made some withdrawals at the ATM, on the last withdrawal the ATM did not dispense.l and he was debited.

Followed him to the bank to complain so the amount will be reversed.

Upon our arrival, we met a woman crying profusely. She was restless, saw three bankers on one computer trying to figure things out and another consoling her.

So it happened that she was scammed of N300,000. She said she received a call from someone who claimed to be the bank manager who asked her to provide some of her private information which she did.

Man, I felt bad for her. I was really angry inside, I hope this scammers meet their Waterloo.

So I’ve got some questions regarding this:

1) how do these scammers get the phone number and account details of people to the extent of calling them and requesting personal information.

2) can the money be recovered, if yes what process does one need to follow. This is to educate people

On a final note, please and please, don’t give your personal information to anyone who claims to be from a certain bank. Always go the bank!
You see Access Bank. It will take very long for fraud happening their to stop.
Do you know why?
Access Bank did not prepare itself very well before acquiring Diamond bank.
Diamond bank was using more sophisticated platform that is beyond the comprehension of Access bank.
Diamond bank App and platform will not easily be synchronize with that of Access bank.
This is causing them lots of problem.
The sacked ICT guys from Diamond and those sacked Diamond bank staff may connive wt bad boys to commit fraud through the bank.
Most of them still have their guys presently working as staff of Access bank. They can exchange info easily.
Access bank need quite a new and reviewed platform to operate. But this option is not what you get overnight.
So, the customers should be very careful.

Mrs Christiana O. Oluwasesin who was married with two children arrived to the northern part of Nigeria in a state known as Gombe. She was to teach in the Government Secondary School of Gandu as a government teacher but before that, she had given the state authorities resignation notice due to the fact that she wanted to join her husband or rather, her family in Abeokuta where her husband, Mr Femi had gotten a job as a laboratory technician in a hospital.

According to her believe, she was happy that after the school's final exam, she would leave to join her husband in Abeokuta but the day didn't go as she imagined. On the 21st of March, 2007, Mrs Christiana O. Oluwasesin was invigilating students writing their final exams on Islamic Religious Studies but prior to the commencement of the exam, she collected books, bags and papers where she left them out of the class (in front of the class), but many outlets reported that she threw them out of the class.

One of the teachers at the school known as Aluke Musa Yila said in a statement to the 'Compass' said that. “Usually such items are returned to every student as each returns her answer script,” said Aluke Musa Yila, who said he was present during the gruesome murder of Oluwasesin.

After she had dropped the bags infront of the classroom, one of the female student writing the exam began crying, and when asked what the problem was, she told her classmates that her copy of the Quran was in her bag that Mrs Christiana O. Oluwasesin had touched, and thus, she had desecrated the Qur'an since she was a Christian, some media outlets reported that the student said to her friends that her Qur'an was in her bag that Mrs Christanah had thrown out.

Before she was given freedom to speak, the students began shouting, "Allahu Akbar," meaning God is great. Hearing the noise, Aluke Yila rushed down to the class where he was told the ordeal, Yila then tried to bring calm to class after he asked them how Mrs Christanah would have known whether there was a Qur'an in the bag if she wasn't told, but all his efforts proved abortive.
Aluke Yila quickly notified the school authorities which the authorities tried to bring back the calm environment but unfortunately, it wasn't possible, Yila then took Mrs Christanah to the principal office. Knowing well that the students might want to go to his office, the principal left the office and went to calm the environment but to no avail.

According to Yila, he told Mrs Christanah to stay in the principal's bathroom while he goes to check, on getting there, he discovered that the whole school along with Islamist extremist were currently distroying the environment and the teacher be given to them to be put to death.
When their demands were not met, they began hitting the teachers, principal and the police which forced them to withdraw. Soon enough, the Extremist broke into the principal's office and captured Mrs Christanah, when the principal rushed to the site, he met Mrs Christanah bleeding from the head as he begged the extremists not to kill her.

Afterwards, the principal along with Mrs Christanah went to the neighboring house but she was dragged out of the house by the extremists who tortured, beat, as they waited for their leader known as 'Angel of Death' who soon arrived and then cut off Mrs Christanah's throat after which the students burned her to death, after all this, the Extremist were still not satisfied as they were heard shouting and calling for the whereabouts of other Christians staff of the school, while the students began setting the school on fire.

After the event, sixteen personnels were arrested but were later freed without being charged to court. The truth in real life is that they weren't sure whether the student's Qur'an was in her bag.

Family › Re: When Your Wife Says " I Hate You And I Regret Marrying You" by Psoul(m): 8:42am On Sep 22, 2021
ademidedavid:
My greetings nairalanders,
I am married for 10years now and blessed woth 3 wonderful kids but my woman is a bit difficult.

To cut the long story short, i went out with a colleague on friday and due to the fact that the kids are on holiday, i took my wife along because she was already raising the roof bout my outing ( NOTE: I have never ever gone out without my family to avoid wife's palava).

On getting there, she complained i was looking at some ladies lustfully which was not at all.......just trying to figure out some important things in my head. After which she complained that i was drunk.....lo and behold i wasnt because i dont take beer, i only take red wine, bullet and spinnorf......which i took a red wine and bullet before leaving the house and also took 3 bottles of spinnorff ( I was never drunk with all of those)

Fast forward to today, i am very open with my finances guess one of my mistakes.........she noticed that a thousand naira (#1000) was missing in my wallet and all means to explain to her proved abortive even though i give her money for things she love like body cream, cloths and others but after all nagging, i was vexed and went to the kids room which i politely asked her to let me be at the moment because i cant withstand her nagging over a thousand naira but she persisted and i have to shut the door against her but she opened it and told me she hates me and regret marrying me.....sounded like the rapture sound initially but later realised it actually came from my woman, my mother of my kids!!!!

i still cant place those words.....could it be out of anger or she actually mean the words for real?

Please help a heartbroken brother.
Guy, if you are married for 10yrs and u still don't understand women, then there is something wrong wt u.
Once you are married, cut off all unnecessary relationships/friends. Your family should be mostly your friends.
Same should apply to ur wife also. Keep only friends that is truly beneficial to u and your family.

Women love to brag to their friends with their husbands. Don't do anything that will make that bragging difficult for her.
If you must look at other women lustfully, don't do it when she is there.
Don't get drunk before your wife.
These two things get her pissed off. She felt embarrassed.

I also noticed that your wife loves you too much. When women love too much, they easily get angry wen u do those things they may not find themselves doing easily. They get mad at little thing but the anger may not last. Some can use hurtful words. That is their only way to revenge. They will just want u to feel same way u made them feel. Deep inside them, they never meant the words they said.
Bros, why should u get into hot argument wt your wife of 10yrs probably in the presence of ur kids? You even have to go to the room where she was nagging peacefully. Why do u have to go there to tell her to let u be. No be trouble u dey look for?
You even had to bang the door against her. This is unmanly. When women nag, don't join them. If u do, it means you want the nag to get longer and wt more hurtful words.
After 10yrs, you should've know hw to handle an irate woman.

I don't understand this well:

she noticed that a thousand naira (#1000) was missing in my wallet and all means to explain to her proved abortive
Your money was missing.
She was angry
You went to explain to her why your money short 1k. I don't get it.

Or you noticed that your money was shorting 1k and you got angry that she may have taken it and this sparked off trouble.

Well, if the later is the case, you may be a stingy husband or ur wife is a very bad woman that does not deserve your money.
Let me tell you. Every woman takes her husband's money. Sometimes, keep your wallet carelessly so that you wife can take some money wtot ur consent. It makes them happy.
So long as the woman is not extravagant, allow her to take some money and pretend that you don't know.
That money she takes, will surely come back to u.
Fighting your wife of 10yrs in marriage is petty.

Finally, if you are really taking those words- (I hate you and regret marrying you) -seriously, then you need to grow up. Those words means that she loves u so much.
Oga, go and love ur wife. She has her fault as well as you have urs.
Stop holding on to petty things in ur marriage. U don pass this level.
Unless if there is another woman out there beating the drum for u.

It's your choice to live a carefree life and you pay the price.

You hate advice but the same you also blame men, why?

Go wear your thinking cap to enable your common sense because it appears deactivated.

You can as well go to an uncompleted building in your neighborhood to study by midnight today, come back tommorow and blame men.

Common sense should teach you that safety comes first. Have you not been visiting different men ? Did they rape you? That's to show you that not "all men" are rapists, the same way not " all women" live a carefree life.

Since there is no way to identify a rapist, the best way is to be cautious, but unfortunately the breed of females we have in this age always throw caution to the wind.

Inasmuch as I discourage such wicked act, the women should take responsibility for once.

Women should propose stringent laws against rape of both sexes and sponsor it at the national assembly.

Rape cases have always ended up in favour of the rapists, do you know why?

Position of the law is simple: "WHY DID YOU GO THERE IF YOU DON'T " WANT" IT?

YOU AS A WOMAN, HAVE TO PROVE BEYOND EVERY REASONABLE DOUBT THAT IT WAS NOT CONSENSUAL.

My NGO have been fighting for woman with such cases for over ten years now and I know the resources that has gone into that, and from my experience, Prevention remains the best law for now.

INDEED YOU NEED HELP OF GOD
My dear, you've spoken well and wt so much maturity. Don't mind her, she can rant without wisdom.
We all feel so bad about rape.
Rape is like insecurity in a society. When there's insecurity, what are you expected to do. You activate your security instinct and become more cautious. You avoid going to places where you may be harmed.
That's just what you advised and she still don't want to accept it. All she want is for every many to be brought out, killed or castrated.

Most people only understand already digested information and find it very hard to make out news from raw data.
Their brain are so weak to comprehend.

Any body that fail to see that those comedians are trying to pass information that the road has gone so bad due to the negligence of the state government has a very weak brain.

What they employed their is what can de described as Exaggeration in literature.
Just like saying:
**I traveled for 2 months only to come back to meet so much dust in my room that I can build 2 storey house with the dust.
**I can hunt elephant in the bush in front of my house cause I have not cut the grass for few months now.

Those commedians are saying that the potholes on the road is big enough that they can do fishing on the road.
meaning that the condition of the road is too bad.

There are so many ladies out there, with that 100million naira, that I won, I will buy any type of lady of my choice.

The Day, Nigerian Ladies Has Something Good To Offer To A Man, I, Mr Cover, Will Also Change This Mindset Immediately.
I am trying to figure out the kind of man you are.
Like all your life, you've bn hanging out with low life and no do women.
So if this is the case, it means you are also a very low life and no do good man.
Don't heap all the blames on Nigeria women.
Try to find out what may be wrong in you that made u never had any encounter with a good Nigerian woman.
You really need a serious upgrade so that your life can at least for once attract one good woman.

Wawu. If this guy gets a good lawyer, he will not be making prop guns again. Sue the Hell out of the police, get paid in millions and travel out of Naija to study filmmaking properly in Europe.
It's a lie.
He will get nothing.
I believe there should be a license to produce such toys.
If he has it, they may not have arrested him.
You can't just be producing this and be carrying it around in you car without coverage.

I only blamed the police for not investigating thoroughly before the publication.

I bought a smart TV and everyone knows how costly a smart TV is these days. I have good relationship with my next door neighbor but though he's a very nice guy but he has a flaw which is that he lies a lot. He's single.

He had a small get together in his mini flat so he begged to use my sitting room cos its bigger. I let him and went about my job.

I rarely watch my TV cos I'm very busy with work and come back late tired, eat, shower, browse and sleep. So it was only a week later that I finally got the chance to switch on my TV and behold its damaged and can't display anymore. I never allowed anyone in my sitting room except the day my neighbor used it which is a week ago. I also live alone for a month now and never had visitors of any kind.

I'm filled with madness but don't know exactly how to confront him since he codedly never told me. My main worry is that he will outrightly lie and deny it even if I confront him.

What would you do in my situation??

Actually, the doctor did nothing wrong. The only process that determines whether a child can pass through the mother's hip or not is labour. I have seen people with apparently small hips on pelvimetry deliver with no issues and people with normal pelvimetry results almost go into obstructed labour.
I'm not expecting you to say anything different from this. You must defend what u do.

A doctor that ran series of scan and noticed what might be a threat during child bearing and refused to tell the person involved or her relative did nothing wrong.

A medical doctor that saw that a pregnant woman cannot deliver by herself and was very weak and dying and he kept forcing her to push did nothing wrong.

It took a shout from a non medical woman to wake up the medical doctor to his senses to remember that he needs to do CS on the woman to save the woman and her baby. Still you believe the doctor did nothing wrong.

What do I even expect from half baked doctors that litter everywhere in the country.
And if you did not see anything wrong with the doctor I talked of, then you're one of the quack health providers.

In my clinic I have seen plenty limbs disfigured by traditional bone setters but nigerians still prefer them, after the damage they will come back to the hospital
I have also seen many medical doctors cause more damages to their patients in the name of giving them medical treatment.

We have silly many medical doctors out there. In the same way, we have bad trado-medical doctors.

A medical doctor that has bn handling my friend's wife antenatal checks and treatment, noticed that the young lady has Pelvis bone issue which may make it hard for the lady to deliver by herself.
He kept telling the lady and the husband that everything was ok.
Until the day of delivery, he insisted that the should push out the baby.
Even seeing that the lady was getting tired and he insisted that she should try.
Not until my wife who was standing like a mother for the girl started shouting at the doctor that can't u see that this young girl is tired or do u want the baby to die in her womb.
My wife told the husband to sign fo CS.
The doctor invited my wife and the lady's husband and opened up that the lady has Pelvis issue.
My wife was so furious that he knew this, refused to let them know before hands and he still insisted that the lady should push the baby.

Now, after the CS, the baby came out, but he sucked and swallowed the fluid in his mother's womb.
Baby is now in another specialist hospital in another state while the mother is still in the hospital recuperating.

Meanwhile, this happens to be one of the best hospitals that has branches in many states.

So you can see one of those silly medical doctors here.
