I know you love him for his generosity just as i do too but that doesn't make him a Christian, and as for the help he has rendered to people in kind i don't think i can meet up to 0.00001% throughout my entire life.
But let's go back to the drawing board!
More than 3.5million subscribe to his Facebook page, 50,000 people worships there weekly and more than 3million visit Ikotun yearly because of SCOAN.
Do you think members of his church preach to their neighbours talkless of teaching about God's Kingdom? Matthew 10:3-13, 28:19-20
Are they dedicated to the love Jesus preached which Racism and Politics can't break? John 13:34-35
Did he teach them not to use weapons in handling issues with adversaries? Matthew 26:52; Romans 12:18
How many of his members are baptized preachers and teachers of God's word? Matthew 28:19-20

Well i'm not saying he is not a good person because i've seen and felt how generous he is, all i'm saying is that is not what Jesus commissioned as Christianity! Luke 18:18-23
Oga, you can go on wt whatever u want to beliv. I don't argue wt an unteachable souls.

MaxInDHouse:
You're most welcome Sir!

Christianity is about selfless and voluntarily taking up the assignment a first century Jewish carpenter who later became a teacher gave his followers.

The young man's name was Jesus when he started he was going from town to town, house to house and door to door preaching and teaching about God's Kingdom (government) that's coming to destroy all human governments and stand forever! Daniel 2:44 compare to Matthew 6:10

He taught his followers to continue doing this job and expanding the network everywhere they go. Now is the sensitive part where all these religionsts failed!
Jesus' disciples will be recognized by their preaching and teaching in their neighbourhood {Matthew 10:11-13} this was how the inhabitants of Antioch got to identify them as "Christians" people practicing the faith laid down by the Jewish man who claimed he was the Christ! Act 11:26

Because they're dedicated to this course they mustn't tag anyone as enemy rather they must pray for their enemies to become friends in other for them to pass across the message in them {Matthew 5:43-48} they will become like one family not with people from their own tribe or race but anyone who accepts their teachings {Matthew 12:46-49} such a person has become a member of their spiritual family that they must love exactly the same way Jesus loves them! John 13:34-35

So with this at the back of their minds they are no part of any nation, tribe, race or ethnic group {John 17:14} rather as their form of worship is based on spirit and truth {John 4:24} they belong to one big and happy global family of peace loving worshipers! John 17:20-23

That is why they must not carry weapons for any reason whatsoever thinking they want to kill enemies of any sort {Matthew 26:52} rather they must be prepared to vacate any locality where they're been oppressed {Matthew 10:23} so that they will shed no blood. They must take people from everywhere as neighbours and love them as they love their own souls {Mark 12:29-31} but when it comes to their fellow believers they must be prepared to sacrifice their lives just as Jesus did for them! John 13:34-35 compare to Galatians 6:10

Satan is the overall ruler of the world and he is speedily promoting hatred in the minds of people globally using Politics and Racism, with this two missiles people are killing people everywhere today {Revelations 6:3-4} but true Christians who love all their neighbours aren't hypnotized by Satan's spell so they are hated by all those under Satan's manipulations as they stick to the commands of their Lord and King Jesus Christ! Matthew 10:22; Mark 13:13; John 15:21

So none of all these people claiming men of God has successfully produced this type of fruit as their followers only revere them but can kill one another in the face of Politics and Racism.

The true Christians are the fruit of Jesus' hard works and people know them in any country by these qualities: LOVE JOY PEACE PATIENCE GOODNESS GENTLENESS FAITH MILDNESS and SELF-CONTROL. There is no law any nation can put up against them! Galatians 5:22-23

So TB Joshua was a good and kind-hearted man that will never be forgotten by the people he helped within the space of time he practiced that religion but he is never a Christian simply because he built a church and started helping people. He never worked on what Jesus (the man called CHRIST) commissioned by establishing the network of preachers and teachers extending the good news of God's Kingdom in their neighbourhood that will unite people of all nations under Christ! Micah 4:1-3

That's is what CHRISTIANITY entails.
As for his kind gesture he is far better than all those pastors and daddy GOs but in reality all of them are not CHRISTIANS! smiley
Hahahahahahahahaha....are u sure you are not somehow confused?
This you statements makes me feel you don't know what you are talking about:
He never worked on what Jesus (the man called CHRIST) commissioned by establishing the network of preachers and teachers extending the good news of God's Kingdom in their neighbourhood that will unite people of all nations under Christ! Micah 4:1-3
You said that he did not establish network of preachers and teachers to extend the gospel. This is pure ignorant on ur side.
Do u know that he had over 50,000 worshipers that attend his church services every Sunday.
His Emmanuel TV Channel is one of the most famous religious TVs.
Over 3million tourists comes to his synagogue per year
He had about 1.4 million YouTube Subscribers and 3.5million Facebook Followers.
Immigration report also shows that 6 out of 10 foreign travelers coming into Nigeria are bound for SCOAN

You want to tell me that out of these figures, that he failed to trained teachers and preachers that will extend the gospel? He also have some branches in few other countries.

Oga, I totally disagree wt your opinion. You that is claiming to be a true Christian or someone God has given the mandate to chose who will inherit the Kingdom of God or who will go to hell, I bet you, in your entire life, you cannot do a quarter of what TB Joshua did for people in just one year.

Wait o!
Before you bless me note that i also don't believe that TB Joshua is a Christian!

Though he was a good man from the viewpoint of observers but Christianity is not about being good rather it's about actively participating in the work Jesus commissioned.

TB Joshua did what he could to help people but that's not what Christianity means, it's far more than that. The reason why all those religionsts blacklisting him have nothing to say against his ministry is because he performed far better than all of them in what they're all claiming to be which is True man of God

But when it comes to the FRUIT Jesus asked us to observe in Christianity all of them are wrong, that's why they don't have anything tangible to say against TB Joshua! smiley
Oga pls wt all due respect, what are the main thing that Christianity is all about that lacked in the life of Prophet TB Joshua?
You said Christianity is not about bn good and giving alms to the needy,
The man was good
Helped the needy
He was humble
He was not greedy
Put people first before himself
Preached the gospel

So, I will be happy if you can tell us more about what Christianity is all about. I really want to learn.
Thank You

You are purposely avoiding the responsibilities of the leaders that are also the dirtiest animals.
They are not ready to behave like human beings but kept pointing at the attitudes of the lesser animals.
What do u have to say about that?

Buhari is saying nobody will invest in us if we continue behaving like animals!

Is it a lie? Can you not see for yourselves that nobody is investing in giving you a job?
Now, you have come in terms wt we are saying.
You have just admitted that the people in the country are behaving like animals.
So describing the country as a zoo is not out of place.

If a family is in shambles, I believe the parents have more responsibilities to put it in order.
It will be arrant stupidity for the father to be behaving so irresponsibly and be asking his children to make the home peaceful.
The father has the responsibility to lead by example.

He spoke on the part of ensuring that there is peace In Nigeria and that during the Endsars protest, he told youth to behave themselves if the want jobs as no investors either local or foreign will invest in country without peace.
You can imagine how the OP headline twisted the narration.
You guys should stop defending silly things.
A president can only make such statement when the government have bn carrying the people along.
This is a country where the youths have bn so patient and minding their business before the government started using and dumping them.
The government kept making their lives miserable so that the youths can be ready tools to achieve the leaders heinous acts.
Now the youths have woken up and the president is misyarnning.
He better mind his mouth there.
First of all, they should behave themselves if they want the youths to do same too.

Nobody will invest in a country it's citizens call a zoo, because it is very obvious that the animals will break out of their cage one day and turn the country into a jungle and eat up all one's investments!

But I guess you don't quite get the fact that if Nigeria is a zoo, as some claim, we the Nigerians are the animals in the cages in the zoo that will one day break out and turn the zoo into a jungle.

Deceive yourselves some more, I say, expecting to reap without first tilling the ground before sowing!
If the country is not a zoo, why do snake and monkey swallow millions of Naira and the government accepts it as true and do nothing about it.
If the country is not a zoo, why do the life of animal worth more than the life of human beings?
If the country is not a zoo, why do the law enforcement agents use live ammunition on peaceful protesters holding the national flag while they pamper terrorists killing people daily.
The count is unlimited.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: What It Was Like To Tell My Kids I Lost My Job by Psoul(m): 3:54pm On Jun 02, 2021
Robertkenny:
Mrs. Juliet

I was with my husband on March 31st, it was 3 or 4 o’clock in the afternoon and I took a phone call from the owner of my company, the president and COO. He informed me that my position was being eliminated.

Significant changes had to be made to the small, family-owned business I worked for due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Coming from leadership, I understand. I worked for Skymack communications, a publishing company here in Lagos, for over 13 years. I was senior vice president of operations, client service and account management. The majority of the clients I worked with were in the airline space, so Covid-19 had huge impact on the area of the business I managed.

Even though being let go is not a personal issue for me, when you get that call from your boss, it’s quite a shock to the system.
I love the people that I worked with. And I have never been unemployed.

This was a first for me, and I had to tell my kids.
The first person I told was my husband. We went for a walk because I just wanted to takeout bad thought and feel free. It’s so overwhelming that you don’t want to think about the “What if”.

I cried when I told my husband, but it wasn’t sadness that I felt. I didn’t feel a connection to my job title such that it was a loss of my sense of self. It was more, “Well, what am I going to do now?” Or maybe it was because you have to say those words: “I’ve been laid off.” I never said those words before.

But I didn’t actually tell my two girls, who are 12 and 16, for almost a full 48hours. I just sat with it first. I was thinking, “How am I going to tell them that I have been laid off”?.

My girls have seen me get up and go to work their whole lives. I don’t believe they tied me as a person to my job, but they do understand that my job provides money for the family to live.

I was really trying to figure out, how do I tell them without scaring them? And how will I keep a level of composure?.

The third day I told them. Schools in Lagos were closed, so my daughters were homeschooling. I called them into the living room, sat down and told them that I had been let go from my position at work. I was crying while telling them.

They both sort of looked at me and they said, “Well, what does that mean for us?”

How you handle yourself is everything when it comes to how they’re going to respond, so I immediately composed myself.
“Well, we’re probably going to have to make some changes initially, but as a parent let I and your dad focus on that. I don’t want you to worry about that” I said.

My eldest daughter got angry and frustrated at my employer. “Aren’t you important? Don’t they think you’re valuable?” she asked with a sad face.

“I am valuable” I said. But my value has nothing to do with my job. I’m valuable for a lot of other reasons.”

“I will find a job that makes me happier, a place to work that values me, a place where I want to be” I said. The girls asked questions about money too. I have a loan to pay and other bills. “Yeah, we’re going to have to make some changes, for me to be able to pay back” I said.

“I’m going to have to really work to get another job or figure out what my next move is” I said.

For now we’re good. My girls and I are stable and we’re happy. We have made some changes towards managing most things around us. For instance with food shopping, we are not particularly frivolous, but now we are much more careful.

Also there is no “I need does cloths just because they’re beautiful or I want to do online shopping for me and my girls”. They know they need to be conscientious about what they ask for. And they have been fantastic without reminder.

And I have not stopped my job search, but I am not obsessing. Right now everything is fine, but that won’t last forever. So I am trying to determine what my new normal is going to be.

Thank you Bogger for sharing my story

Have you ever lost any job that makes you think twice? Please share your story.
I lost my job 4 months to my proposed traditional/white wedding date.
It was somehow frustrating.
But I have a God that has never leave me at that kind of situation.
After that job lost, I and my wife (a very understandable and wise woman) decided that we are going to do the occasion on a very low key.
My friends heard it and they said no. They said that I must do my wedding the way I wanted it earlier. They said I had attended and made many ppl proud in their occasions and that mine will not be in low key.

Before u know it, they started calling other friends everywhere. Within a short period, my bank account was just beeping constantly.
On that day, they brought 8 buses to convey ppl and wth their private cars too. It was a very wonderful occasion with the fleet of cars following us.
I had so much money from friends that I never bothered about money gotten on that occasion day. I just told my wife to take the money and add to her business.

3 months before my first baby arrived, someone just recommended me to a very good company. I went for the interview and got the job.

Politics › The Biafra War Was A National Tragedy, Not Igbos’ Sin Against Nigeria by Psoul(op): 11:26am On Jun 01, 2021
The Nigerian state bears huge responsibility for the recurring Biafra agitation. And thats due to the manner it has treated Igbos since the civil war ended. Commentators have often drawn parallels with Germany. How the Allied Powers utilised the Treaty of Versailles and its so-called War Guilt clauses to humiliate and punish Germany for waging WW1. And how, years later, Hitler in revenge of that humiliation led Germany to wage an even more devastating war.
But there is a more proximate example.
Think back to pre-independence Nigeria.

Tiv illustrious son Joseph Tarka led the United Middle Belt Congress ( UMBC) party. UMBC never allied with the Northern People’s Congress ( NPC), as Tiv people always wanted out of northern Nigeria.
After the 1959 general elections, NPC formed a coalition with the National Council of Nigeria and Cameroons (NCNC). UMBC allied with Awolowo’s Action Group ( AG), as AG had promised to create a Middle Belt State it it formed government.
Buoyed by its control of the northern region and by its relative grip of the federal government, NPC took a punitive posture against Tiv people. The Tiv were marginalised in the northern region scheme of things. In 1960 the first Tiv Riots broke out. The federal government declared emergency rule and deployed the military.

So vindictive and narrow-minded, NPC government committed exactly the kind of blunder that caused WW2. They humiliated and punished Tiv people by imposing reparation burdens. Laws were made that required every Tiv adult male to pay certain penalties in reparation for the damages caused during the riots. Squeezed by this punishment and by even more marginalisation meted out to them, the people revolted. The second Tiv riots ensued in 1964. Tiv people attacked government officials and establishments.
Balewa declared emergency rule and Defence Minister Mohammadu Ribadu sent in the military who went in and decisively crushed the riots, at significant human costs. The exact death toll remains unknown as no proper count was taken. However Prime Minister Balewa later stated on the floor of Parliament that no less than 3000 people lost their lives. The military would station (indeed it was an occupation) in Tiv land until the civil war broke out in 1967.

Yet post civil war was anything but different. Although no reparation obligation was imposed, and while there was the so-called 3Rs policy - hollow as it was - statecraft was deployed to systematically humiliate and punish the Igbos. Instead of treating the ended conflict as a national tragedy and a solemn reference for collective introspection, the Nigerian state consistently treated it as a matter of the Igbo man’s sin against Nigeria. A matter of his shame and guilt.

National dialogues were never held about the causes and conduct of that war.
Which explains why Biafra has hardly been part of any school curriculum, not even for the subject of history. It is the reason that not even a single person has been investigated let alone tried for the unspeakable war crimes that happened in that conflict. No date is set aside for the national mourning of the millions who perished in that war. The names of the heroes of that war, on both sides, are not written on any walls. Indeed, the victims of that war remain nameless.

No tomb stones, statues, shrines, city arches, cenotaphs, mausoleums, or monuments of any types, stand anywhere in commemoration of the millions of Nigerian souls (Biafrans and fotherwise) who Nigeria sacrificed in that war to preserve its existence and the so-called unity. Wreaths have never ever been laid by any Nigerian leader, in tribute specifically to the fallen of that conflict, combatants or civilians. A flame has never once been ignited in remembrance of the innocent children who died of starvation – starvation that was administered as a weapon and a policy of the Nigerian state. Not even one of the many blood-soaked sites of battle was preserved. No efforts whatsoever have been made to further research or develop the incredible scientific and technological inventions that Biafrans made in those desperate times under the oddest conditions. Instead, it was better that Biafran industrialisation died eternally with Biafra, as long it helped to vanish the history.
The people of former eastern nigeria, mainly Igbos, were gaslighted to the point of almost feeling ashamed for fighting to defend themselves. They were forced to mask their pains and trauma and never talk about it. They were just only able to whisper the stories of the war only within their own circles. And so they found a way to deal with their trauma.
The Biafra scare slowly permeated and wove into their group consciousness and identity. And that marked the birth of Biafra nationalism. Any wonder you see, years since the war ended , generation after generation of Igbos have grown up to embrace Biafra as their ethic heritage?
And peoole who don’t belong to these parts of the country might never understand this. Our experiences differ. For many Igbos of my generation, the story our fathers and mothers, of our grandparents, and of that uncle you never ever met, are, themselves, the story of the Biafra war. Our modern history as a people is inextricably tied to the memories of Biafra. Poignant human stories about a resilient people who faced the fearful odds, achieved improbable feats, and survived the unlikeliest conditions. These stories, in their collective, are now a romanticised mythology that make us feel thick as a people. It is now a matter of identity. And we are in the age of identitarian politics.
And yet Nigeria continues to commit an even bigger blunder. Its leaders seek to use the barrel of a gun to kill or face down this phenomenon that is now part of a people’s inner fabric and very identity.

I don’t think it will work. And it has never worked anywhere else in history.

Nigeria must accept Biafra war as a national tragedy, not a matter of the Igbo man’s sin, shame or guilt. For it is only when Nigeria and Nigerians come to truly embrace and own the Biafra tragedy as part of the Nigerian story that Biafra shall cease to be the rallying cry for Igbo ethnonationalism . That is how we will begin to match towards unity.

Success and financial stability does not depend on how much a person earns but on how much he can keep.

Successful people are those who have the ability to save money. In this article we want to highlight some of the rules of Spending which will enable readers to attain financial stability.

Rule 1. Do not spend more than your income: Spending more than ones income leads to bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is a situation whereby one indebtedness is more than his assets. The major cause of this situation is spending more than your income. Perhaps you do not know what bankruptcy law says in this country. It is very bad to be bankrupt. Remember investments are made from saved income, so no savings no income.

Rule 2. Never spend in anticipation of income: It is not proper to spend money in anticipation of income. Many civil servants spend money on food, clothing and other wares with the expectation of making payment when salaries come. This situation is very dicey, especially these days that salaries do not come as expected. Always follow the rules of spending with what you have at hand unless when life is threatened. Remember the adage "cut your coat according to your size"

Rule 3. Always make a budget: A budget is a written plan showing expected income and expenditure. Wise people prepare budgets as a guide to expenditure. If you follow your budget, you may not spend what you have not earned and you will always be at peace.

Rule 4. Do spend money to impress others: A lot of people spend money to impress others. They splash money in ceremonies just to impress their viewers. This is a dangerous habit, we must always consider our income first before we engage in spending spree. Because if you don't have money, you will realize that the poor man does not really have a friend.

Rule 5. Don't be afraid to spend: What we have said so far may be misunderstood by some people as becoming stingy, stingy people hardly get rich. Modest people at least remain financially stable. If you are afraid to spend, you make money your master but if you spend carefully, your money remains your servant.

If you want to thrive, don't neglect these 5 rules of spending
Your Rule 2 and 3 are contradicting themselves.

You can make expenses on expected income. There's nothing wrong wt that so long as you're prudent in doing so.

You talked of budget. Most budgets are based on expected income. So one can finance his budget but even borrowing hoping to offset the bill wt expected income.

What will it take you to walk into any good hospital and tell them to run HIV and other blood infection test on you instead of seeking for cheap consolation here.

You better take your life seriously.
