^^^^ If you were to discover tomorrow that your sister/girlfriend/cousin was a LovePeddler, would you also think the same of her? That she is being fked like a dog? Is that the same hateful statement you would make then?
Being 'fhucked like a dog' is a relative statement, there are many non-pro$titutes (male and female) who are still being fhucked like dogs by their respective partners. What's hateful about that statement? I really dont understand ur point o.

Pro$titution in Nigeria most times is a voluntary decision, though forced pro$titution also exists (which i totally abhor). If any of my female relations VOLUNTARILY decide to go into pro$titution in Nigeria or overseas, that's entirely their own choice and business,i go kill am? Highest i express my reservations in its strongest terms,if dem listen, FINE,if dem no listen, still FINE.

This may sound out of place but i prefer street pro$titutes to executive bit(hes who sleep their way to the top and still earn the respect of our society. The former most times just wants to get paid for sex with no evil motives, the latter is evil personified, and dem plenty for Naija.

"Otonov" to all Nigerian police formation in the North to aid their escape from all directions when Boko Haram strikes. Before that, adequate training will be given to the police drivers so that they will not drive from all angles at the same time lest they disintegrate the "Otumokpor", sorry! "Otonov" in panic.

If someone on earth can pray for you why can't someone in heaven? It is called intercession

What graven images? Do we worship the statue of Mary, or the picture of Jesus/crucifix?
They are symbolic, they represent what we believe it. It's also a reminder, like you would have a photograph of someone.

If that is idolatry then protestants are guilty of this too.
That's the problem with Pentecostals,in everything they ask 'is it in the bible'. The bible itself says that there are many things, miracles and events that were never recorded. Pentecostals don't realize that the bible as we know it was made up of several books which the early church edited and compiled into one bible. Most protestant believe that God sat down in heaven on a table with angel Gabriel and instructed;'Oya,Gabby, begin writing,Genesis chapter one'.
A graven image dedicated to a foreign god is what God frowns at,not graven images dedicated to God himself or the heavens.
In the old testament, when snakes were biting and killing Israelites,God instructed them to create an image;a stick pole with a snake wriggled around it and that who ever looks upon the image will be healed. Didn't God have the powers to just snap his fingers and then all the snake bites would disappear? In the new testament,it was now revealed that just as the snake on stick was raised so that Israelites would look upon it and find healing,so will the son of man be raised. Its in the bible o,but protestants wont see it.
When Christ wanted to heal one blind guy,he spat on sand and made a spittle using it to cure the blind man, couldn't Jesus have snapped his fingers and the blind man eyes would still open? Any graven image or whatever dedicated to the most high God can and will be used for miracles.
Protestants are hypocrites, they raise portraits and adore (near worship) pictures of their G.Os and Pastors, they use white handkerchiefs and the likes for their miracles, yet they criticize Catholics.

Christianity Etc › Re: I Am Tired Of Going To Church by publisher(m): 4:05pm On Nov 11, 2011
It's OK to get tired of going to church, just don't ever get tired of PRAYING. That's when there'll be problem.

I'm Catholic too;any one who objectively reads the bible will see that Jesus had the intention of establishing just ONE church,to be led by Peter. Many have argued that when Jesus called Peter the rock,he wasn't necessarily referring to Peter alone but to all the disciples. Fine, but what do they say about   the second time when Christ called Peter and asked 3 times,Peter,do you love me? 'Feed my lambs' etc.

The issue of the virgin Mary was a challenge for me all through my catholic life. And i prayed for God to reveal to me whether or not our emphasis on Mary made sense. I got the answer;

Many Pentecostals believe that right from birth to teenage years,Jesus was a super baby that was locked in a room where he'ld be flying up and down all day. They fail to realize that Christ was 100% human and vulnerable,we read of how he was tempted by the devil as an adult. Many dont realize that the child Jesus must have also been tempted in his formative years just like any regular kid and needed his parents guidance. But since 'its not written in the bible',Protestants will not listen.
Baby/Child Jesus was bathed by someone, someone changed his diapers, someone taught him his first words, someone cooked for Jesus. If the virgin Mary had derailed in anyway on her responsibilities as a mother towards Jesus Christ's formative years, that would have really altered or even destroyed God's plans for mankind.
That's why the bible says that 'all nations shall call her blessed'.,Protestants dont know this!

Perhaps that's why the Catholic church keeps on growing in spite of the flaws present amongst some of its clergy, then again, they are only Human.

You know,if Buhari was a member of the PDP,then this US group's analysis would have made more sense. They can then argue that the zoning isssue affected Buhari directly, thus his supporters (Boko haram) went haywire making Nigeria ungovernable.

PDP initiated the zoning formular, same PDP jettisoned the zoning formular and opted for GEJ. GEJ won in south-south,south East, south west and the bulk of the middle belt. That's already 70% of Nigeria. If the remaining aggrieved 30% have opted for Boko haram solution, lets see how they'll smell the presidency in 2015. The old hausa ruling cabal just need to come to terms with the fact that Nigeria's power structure has been diluted amongst all its ethnic groups,no ethnic group has monopoly over power or violence(thanks to Obj). And the sad fact is that 70% of BH's victims till date have been muslim northerners.

The middle belt has totally divorced itself from the Hausa/Fulani cabal and Jos is paying the price for it. However,if they've not conquered Plateau state by now, certainly they can never conquer the rest of Nigeria.

As it were,i doubt if any Hausa man will ever win any free and fair election in Nigeria, without some major compromises.

For someone as favoured as GEJ ,dont be surprised if all this Boko Haram crisis ends up favouring GEJ on the long run. Dont ask me how tongue

Idahosa's story is still fresh in many minds.  The catholic church in spite of all their perceived past and even present evils still has structures which has touched mankind over hundreds of years. One pope dies another one takes over, and it goes on like that. Pentecostals lay more emphasis on their GREAT MAN OF GOD. Once their 'Great man of God' passes on,ten assistant pastors recieve the 'holy spirit' and decide to form their new church, two out of the ten see another 'holy spirit' and decide to form their own individual churches. And the congregation begin to move from from one church to another just like sheep without shepherd that they truly are grin

Please be specific about the southerners who were afraid of Hausa, Fulani or Kanuri. Ndigbo and Biafrans have never and will never be afraid of anything from either northern or southern region.
The truth is that when i was much younger,i remember that most southerners feared Hausa/Fulani's and the middle belt was silenced. Obasanjo balanced the Nigerian equation, indirectly gave Niger Deltan militants room to flourish,so as to make it impossible for any northeern cabal to have unlimited access to Nigerias oil.

Obasanjo, gave southerners and the middle belt courage,-Plateau states' power structure was taken from the Hausa fulani and returned to the Beroms.
Obasanjo diluted the Nigerian Army:Today,i'm seeing lots of igbo and south south Major generals in the Nigerian army, this was NEVER the case during the northern military era.
Obasanjo's singular move in 1999 of retiring ALL military officers that had ever held political office is directly responsible for Nigerias 12 years of uninterrupted democracy. Now we have a generation of 12 to 15 year old Nigerians who have no idea of what a military government looks like.

The defeated Hausa/Fulani cabal are fighting back through Boko Haram, but its a battle that they will surely loose because 70% of Nigerians from the deep south up to southern Kaduna have the capacity to wipe them all out if a peaceful compromise is not reached.

Chief Olusegun Aremu Mattew Obasanjo is the greatest Nigerian that ever lived. cool

@OP: I wouldnt rush to blame federal government or Nigerians directly.
Take for example, this year,i can assure u that a lot of medium and high income earners in Nigeria will be spending Christmas in Calabar,Cross-River state. Cross River has almost no oil,and its even larger(land mass) than Anambra. It took the innovation of the likes of Donald Duke to shift Cross Rivers focus to tourism,it was after this buzz was created that FG and other private concerns began to show interest in Cross Rivers.
Anambra people and the bulk of South east have everything going for them except inspirational leadership. Sullivan Chime seems to be the only one with traces of the stuff i'm talking about, and believe me Enugu is turning into something else-in a good way. Its too early to judge Rochas of Imo,but others are useless to say the least.
