Earlier I tried to use an example but echelon corrected me. I should have used Ifeoma and Iheoma. The Ikwerre version is Homa. I believe they have a right to give unique names to their children even if you don't recognise them as different from Igbo.

Aleruchi in other parts of Igbo dialects is Elewechi and other variants are Elechi,Enechi,Anenechi.Kanenechukwu and they all simply mean

The verb "kwe" means to agree in Igbo,same thing in Ikwerre.

We had a family friend Mr Mmeregini.Owerris call it Mmerenini
