agarawu23: you will cook in your kitchen and your cylinder will be outside even if u live 2 story building
I know this setup. Not everyone will be able to afford it, the cylinder alone is expensive for many people. Also, also many people live in face-me-I-face-you houses and have to share a kitchen with many other families. Imagine the logistical conundrum this would cause.
I finished read Michelle Obama's Becoming a few days ago and in one the chapters she described Barack as a fact guy; too cerebral for most people and how so few people could relate to his way of thinking.
It was an epiphany for me; "you are not alone" I told myself. Even the great men suffer this, hell it could even be a prerequisite for greatness.
Once you begin to absorb information many times faster than everyone around you, you start becoming very lonely. It is my reality. You begin to wonder why seemingly educated people cannot grasp basic things. You have to start operating at their level so you don't come off as an ITK. Someone once told me with pride that he did not know who Nigeria's vice-president was. This was during the last administration. This was someone I expected to be better than most. I was deflated.
junnyjake: Exactly, he was a Non-conformist, so, his view of life from that place formed his philosophy.
I'm non-conforming especially to the current craze with the mainstream, but what Osho preached was a life of isolation, that's some lonely and boring life man, can't deal.
Have you read his paper "where the shoe fits"?
Did Osho teach a life of isolation? I don't think so. Osho loved life. In fact he had over a hundred cars; Mercedes, Rolls Royce, name it. He believed in living to the fullest. He was known as the sex guru due to his stance on sexuality. I'm not sure where you got the isolation from. I've not read the paper you speak of.

chuckjonesbaba: Money is happiness but not immortality or magic. We only mention misery in money when it comes to the unfortunate or dying old billionaires. What about the healthy ones having the time of their lives and living comfortably?
I am not an advocate of poverty. I'm not sure what you are not about.
I am only pointing out the fact that it is not the be all and end all. To quote a wise man: "Money is a faithful servant but a ruthless master".
I think she is starting to learn what people who have had a lot of money all their lives have learnt --money does not guarantee happiness. It can only buy stuff. You gather and gather; you think the next acquisition will bring the happiness but it doesn't, until you come to the realization that it does not. Then you start seeking something more. Money is great; but it isn't the be all and end all as she would soon discover.
I recommend Robin Sharma's "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" to interested readers.
temmypotter: The way these footballers swim in money can make someone with 10+ certifications, Masters and MBA just die of depression.
funny how the world works, Scientists at the forefront of Advancement who patent stuff and invent formulas, theories that generally make life better and change the world as we know it are just living modest lives.
Whilst some guys who just need to be in a football team and maybe play 3hours of football every week cash out in the millions per week.
PS; I'm not a hater, just thinking out loud.
Na wetin people like. If you can render a service or sell a product that many people want, you will be very wealthy. The utility or otherwise of the product or service is inconsequential. Sad you may say, but that's how the world works.
Rubbiish: I just hope u are not a man but a woman Why will u be this afraid on a faceless forum?? Are you afraid to quote Ishilove or call her name? Why typing this without making reference to whom it may concern like a scared baby? only women do this! smh....

victorian: Of course true love is a beautiful thing. Don't misquote me.
But True love doesn't exist any more.
It's all a Mirage.
Don't worry. I use to talk like this with my mum, and argue blindly, that what she says about men is not true.
But along the years, no be person tell me what's up and the reality of men and what follows them.
NwanyiAwkaetiti, please be wise. And shine your eyes, your ears and mind.
Marry but be wise.
Your mum kept telling you crap. And you kept absorbing it. As a consequence, those men began to come your way. There are many people in blissful marriages. If you like no believe am, na you sabi.
IamaNigerianGuy: That's the point. They do not do it of their own accord.
Nobody gets up in the morning and says 'I want to be a surrogate mother to help couple ABC'. Practically all surrogate mothers are poor and desperate. Sometimes, these people looking for surrogates go to third world countries especially India to find a victim. We should not import all sorts of rubbish into our country. If you can't have a baby, adopt
How so?. Has anyone been made to carry a child against their will. Do they collect the payment against their will also?
Unbelievable that you will open a thread such as this. I always figured you to be one of the others on this forum. The so-called enlightened 21st century women for who marriage is nothing but an irritation from a uncivilized past. Apparently it's all a show; the need to keep up with Joneses. Somehow they get panicky with the passage of time and resort to measures such as these. Reality causes them to discard their so-called ideals. How loathsome.
Anyway I may be wrong. I might have to go through your posts again if I can muster the will.
I want to ask; and I am not being condescending in any way: Is desperation a factor in your creation of the thread? A yes or no would do. You can elaborate if you wish.
Ishilove: There are a lot of great guys on this forum. Hopefully one of the sensible ones will contact the OP.
Sensible ones bawo?
Op, take note of the lousy ones who will run their mouths here but still slide into your inbox like worms. They have nothing to offer and are more likely than not looking for punna to chop.
dacblogger: The search of husband Is real... Lemme advice you, there is nothing special about marriage.kuku stay on your own and save yourself the stress... This is coming from a married woman. Goodluck in your search.
Preying on young desperately poor women ? Using human beings as incubators for babies and thereafter discarding them ? Putting women through all the risks and dangers of pregnancy without the corresponding benefits ? Being a middle man for a borderline shady practice ?
Do you realize that a rich woman will never become a surrogate mother for a poor woman who needs a baby ? That indicates to me what this is really about
This practice is exploitative and immoral. It is on par with sex change operations and organ harvesting. People have had fertility issues since the dawn of time and they did not die. The world did not come to an end.
If you cannot have a baby, adopt one.
This is not an issue I have put any thought into before now but your points give me reason to think. Anyway, the people who do it regardless of what you think are their vulnerabilities -- economic and otherwise do it out of their own freewill. I don't think anyone is forced into doing it. In fact, no woman would like her child to be carried by a person who is not committed to the cause (I presume). I think your claims of immorality and exploitation are exaggerated. The poor always serve the rich, it is the way of the world. Why would you expect a rich woman to be surrogate for a poor woman? This is a business for the surrogate. Can the poor woman pay? There is nothing wrong in it as long as all parties involved are in it of their own accord.
He's not on the face of the earth. He doesn't count.
No one yet is the complete package. Complete package is the destination.
When will you get there?
"Do you have any character flaw that you can point to?" is what you asked, so I replied: "I am work in progress. I dont pretend that I am the complete package Ranchhoddas" but it seems people dont like to hear honest, truthful and straightforward answers when given.
Okay
These are your words not mine. I have never said all pastors are fraudulent
Tell me one pastor you think is not fraudulent?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8uS5Qy8X1w It is Ebenezer Obey alright. When young, I used to know all the words by heart and sing along It's actually playing right now and me bobbing my head to it reminiscing.
MuttleyLaff: I cant believe that's the light under how you see me. It is nothing personal. I give credit to whom and wherever credit is due.
Tell me one person in the world that you are in total doctrinal alignment with.
I am work in progress. I dont pretend that I am the complete package Ranchhoddas
Who is the complete package?
I thought you wanted to post Olukoya is one of the good scam guys.
Not all pastors are fraudulent.
We were born to be real, not born to be perfect. You asked a question, and so, I was being real with you, saying things as they are, not mincing words etcetera but hey, now you want to flip the table over me and that reminds me of the Ebenezer Obey's donkey, donkey rider and "awon omo araiye" classic tune.
Is that an Ebenezer Obey song. Did not know. I could have sworn it was KSA.
I first read about that song before I listened to it. In a book titled "Philosophical Essays" by Tam David West. The chapter was titled "The 'Ketekete' Tendency.
