This is a good initiative, but would be great if the renumeration will be commensurate with what is obtainable outside the shores of the country. You want a young man to stay in a rural community? Will his friends, wife, kids and contemporaries also want to stay in the rural community?

I only advocate a better Nigeria, irrespective of the person at the helm of affairs. And btw, I have been given, and gotten better hope than ever before, since Tinubu came into power. Renewed hope has been a good to me. Even though it's tough, we've been doing pretty well (thank God)

Brilliant… I thought I was the only one who grim faced at the thought of these masquerade trees that do not grow to a good canopy… No shades, really. They often grow slender and tall. Mango trees give a really good canopy for parks and gardens… and makes recreational sense too for kids and adult alike

The masquerade trees are good to control wind, and serve as privacy ornaments (in estates where your fence cannot go beyond a certain height). How much wind force do we have in Abuja? Nigeria as a whole? Aside the canopy from mangoes and cashews, when they produce, people get to eat healthy once in a while. The fruits become cheaper! Imagine buying 5 mangoes for 1k! If the tree are just about anywhere and everywhere, would we have to buy at those exorbitant prices?
