The Holy Spirit guides us the ability to please God.

Hebrews 11:5
"5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."

Genesis 5:22-24
"22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:"

The life of Enoch shows us the kind of life we ought to live as children of God.

The Spirit of God will not dwell in the life of a Sinner.

How To Live The Life That Pleases God
-Repentance: Only Salvation can give us the ability to live a pleasing life with God.

When the Spirit of God is upon the life of the man, he will not lack direction, because the spirit of God will teach him all things.

The difference between the a Christian and an unbeliever is the Spirit of God.

We are spiritually powerless without the Spirit of God.

The Spirit of God gives us power to overcome challenges.

Works of The Spirit
- It makes a convicted sinner to be born again.

- The Spirit enlightens us about our right in God.

- The Spirit of God helps us nullify the works and deeds of the flesh.

- Leads a child of God not to make mistakes.

Water is essential to the body. Water is an essential substance to the human body.

Why is the Holy Spirit called the living Water?
The living water is the water that has life and gives out life.

We Humans are living beings because we have life.

The Holy Spirit can also be represented by Fire. This is when God wants to represent his strength and Power.

When the Holy Spirit is represented with Wind, it signifies the presence of God everywhere.

Acts 2:2
"2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."

Today, we are looking at the Holy Spirit represented with Water. This signifies the abundant life giving power of the Holy Spirit given to us by God.

John 7:37-39

Thirst: When you hunger for something, when you are dissatisfied, feeling of dryness in your throat.
Jesus is inviting us to come and drink of this water.

The Holy Spirit brings peace.

John 4:14
"14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

The Living water is the kind of Water that gives life. What kind of life does this water give? Everlasting Life. Even if our physical body will die, your Spirit will live.

John 7:39
"39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)"

When you drink of this water that Jesus is offering you, it becomes a fountain that flows out as Rivers of living water from within you.

If you don't have this fountain in you, it cannot flow from you.
If you don't have the Holy Spirit, you cannot enjoy the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

When this fountain is within you, it begins to flow out in Prayer (Speaking in Tongues), In Songs, In Joy. It will even flow out as the fruit of the Spirit, you will have Joy, Love, Peace, Patience, Gentleness.
An example is the day of pentecost, afterwards the apostles had the boldness to preach the Gospel- That is a display of the flow of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 11:26
"26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch."

What kind of water is flowing through you?
Do you even have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in you?

Brethren it's never too late for you to receive the Holy Spirit through Jesus.
"The Bible says: If anyone thirst, let him come and drink."

Jesus in the Bible passage above was speaking to his disciples about sending the Holy Spirit to them.

If we have Jesus in our Families then the Holy Spirit can manifest.

Jesus said, the peace of God I leave with you.
The Peace of God comes from the Holy Spirit, which settles the affairs of our Homes, in our Relationship, in a marriage.

The Holy Spirit brings love, and where there is love there is unity.

He will also remind us of the word of God.

The Holy Spirit will put life into our Families

Romans 8:10
"10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness."

The Holy Spirit brings life and everlasting Joy.
Everlasting life comes only with the Spirit of God.

Romans 8:11
"11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."

These are what the Spirit of God bring to our Home: Joy, Happiness, Harmony, he direct our path, teaches us how to organize our family.

If the Holy Spirit lives in our Home, we have everything.

Romans 8:15
"15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."

-The Spirit of God doesn't make us slaves.
He removes fear from our life's.

John 14:27
"27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

-The Holy Spirit helps us in every area that we need him.
1 Corinthians 7:1
"1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman."

-The Holy Spirit helps us live Holy.
Holy living helps us to live a wonderful family.

-The Holy Spirit gives us Hope in God

Romans 6:1
"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?"

Those living in Sin cannot enjoy the presence of the Holy Spirit.

If you are not enjoying the Holy Spirit, search your self.

We need the Holy in our lives to direct our path.

John 14:16

The Holy Spirit came because of us. This is the reason why he came to this World and also what he came to do in our life's.

Who is the Comforter: The Comforter is an helper.
The Comforter cushion's the pain and struggle of life.

Jesus promised to send the Comforter, because without the Comforter we can do little.

What Limits us from Hearing The Voice of The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit gives life.

I disagree with the saying that says "Heaven helps those who helps them selves",
rather I'll say helps those who cannot help them selves or Heaven helps those who ask for help.

One of the things the Holy Spirit does is to give life.

Ezekiel 37:1-14
"1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,"
"2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry."
"3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest."

It was the Spirit of the Lord that led him to the valley of bones.
Dry bones mean: A dead hope.
The Spirit of God wanted to do something special

Dry Bones: When a bone is about to totally decay, it is when it becomes dry. Whatever is dry in our lives will live again.


You might have started this year with high hopes and later and it's beginning to fade away. God will put your hopes into reality IJN.

Ezekiel 37:4
"4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord."
When the Bones are no More Dry. Many Christians are living the average life meaning: Just surviving.

Ezekiel 37:8-9
"8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them."
"9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live."

John 6:63
"63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

The depth of the Spirit of God you have will determine your quality of Life.

There is a condition for the Holy Spirit to come so that it can give life.
What is the Condition? If Christ be in you.

Romans 8:11
"11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."

If Christ is still not in you, you might not be able to partake in the life that we are talking about.

If you are still not walking straight with Jesus, then you are playing with your Life. Because while others are enjoying the life of Jesus, you may still be dead.

Psalm 116:17
"17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord."

People give thanksgiving offering for different reasons
1. For Continuous Blessing. Ephesians 5:20
It may seem very bad, as if God has forgotten us, but it is for good reason.
2. We thank him for making us partakers of the inheritance of saints. Colossians 1:12-13, Acts 26:18, John 14:12-15.
3. Thanking him because he is God. Rev 4:9-11
We should learn to appreciate God for been God, we should weigh our selves and you are appreciated to an extent, even if that person is a wayward son and his father appreciates him, won't that boy take appraisal of him self? He will take appraisal of himself and even weigh himself to be able to re-adjust for correction. How much more we appreciating God?

Sacrifice of Thanksgiving.
Sacrifice: Is an act of giving up something that you want to keep especially in other to get or do something else.
We should always want sacrifice things to the Church, Community.
We should sacrifice out time, Finances, Skill. We need to give sacrifices to God, even when we don't have a challenge. Just keep on sowing.

David as we all know in the Bible was always after God. God placed him in a place where many other people could not get to. God even made a covenant with him because David sort after God.
But what of his sacrificial giving? David wanted to make an offering to God "2 Samuel 24:24: Says he wont give God what wont cost him anything".

Most of the time we spend a lot spending on entertain ourselves, making out children happy and we then give change (little) unto God. If we learn that we need to give God something that will cost us something, How great we will be.

Above all, God sacrificed his son just for the love he has for us. John 3:16

It is important that we key into the supreme sacrifice of over 2000years ago, where God sacrificed his only Son Just for us to be eternally saved.
It is useless sacrificing everything you have only to reap earthly things alone. Matthew 16:24 "What good will it be for someone to gain the world and loose his soul?"

Accept Jesus into your life today to cleanse you from SIN and for the assurance of eternal bliss!!

Mark 4:38- And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
We are still looking at out theme which is THE ALMIGHTY. We have being teaching and I am sure we have being blessed by the Almighty.
Verse 37 (READ) -. There arose a great storm. In life if anybody tells you that you won’t go through storm, challenges, difficulties etc that person might not be helping you. It’s just like when we want to move to the next class, its mandatory to write an examination, which will determine if we will get promoted or not; but In life, we have not been promised that there would never be storms, but that in the midst of the storm, if we can trust and look unto God, we will not be hurt! Our father has promised us a resounding victory in the midst of the storm. “Hallelujah”. Brethren, the storms of life are targeted at us not because we’ve done something wrong at times but because we are children of God and this doesn’t go well with the devil.
Verse 38 (READ) - 1st lesson from this verse is that Jesus is always around when we are going through difficulties. After the disciples had done everything without yielding a positive answer, they went ahead to call on Jesus, and when they got to Him, he was asleep. I wonder what we would have done at the moment. Just imagine the way we react when we discover a taxi driver sleeping while driving us.
Ask your neighbour, how many times have you being doubting God concerning your situation? How many times have you asked were God is when you are praying and nothing is changing, How many times have you said God, why am I still single, childless, jobless etc.
What did Jesus do? Verse 39 - And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm: I pray for all family in amazing grace parish that the storm of your life will cease in Jesus name.
What are your fears? That is there is a generational curse? Speak to the spirit behind your problems .Refuse to fear! Fear is a weapon in the hands of the devil. Refuse to fear because Jesus already got you the victory! Stay in faith. Stay in God’s word.

The Almighty means the all powerful.
- He his mighty to save, to deliver and also to set the captives free.

The reason why the Israelites sang the song "Who is like unto thee" just after God parted the Red Sea.

God's might is not to please anyone.

God is so mighty that he can reverse the cause of time and nothing can stop him from blessing when he wants to.

God will not show his might in ones life when they are disconnected to him.
Jesus said: I am the true vine, as long as you are connected to him, you shall bear fruit, but without him you can do nothing.

Life might be ugly, things might be spinning around you, but make sure you stay connected.
Never loose hope, Stay connected.

If you loose your connection with God, you loose everything.

Whenever you come under the pressure of life, stay connected.

When the Israelites were faced with the Red Sea, they thought the end has come, they lost hope.
They started to shout asking Moses why he brought them out to that place.
It would have been better to die in Egypt but Moses remained connected with God and he said to them "Do not be Afraid, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord today for that situation you see today shall be seen no more".

Exodus 14:13-14
"13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever."
"14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."

God is so mighty that he change the time and season of the year.
Just has God change the season of Sarah and she was giving a child.


Daniel 2:20-23

God is so mighty that he can bring Kings down and lift another.

Staying connected to God attracts his love.

Staying connected to God brings Inspiration, Understanding and Direction.

Job 32:8
"8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding."

Joseph: He represents believers. Everything was working well for him. Suddenly everything began crumbling.
He was hated by his brothers, sold as a slave and also falsely accused by his masters wife. But in every thing, he never lost his connection with God even when he was in prison.

A man connected with God will always know that everything his passing through are stepping stones to his miracle.
The man that is connected to God will never take a wrong step.
The man will know that the tunnel maybe dark at a side but there's light at the other end.

Disconnection from God at the point of life's pressure is the beginning of darkness.

Joseph became a Prime Minister in a foreign country after all he faced just because he stayed connected.

There's nothing God cannot do.

Today we are looking at the Mightiness behind the God’s Name. We have been looking at Our God Mightiness in different areas and we want to examine today on how mighty is his name.
Our text today in Exo 3:14 tell us how God announces himself.

What is in A Name: A name is what uniquely identifies someone. If I say for example who is Peter among a group of workers in RCCG amazing grace you will all point to me. If they are several people with the name Peter you may ask which of the peter you are referring to. In other words a name also explains the position someone occupies or perhaps the status of an individual. If I ask who GoodLuck Jonathan is, you may also chorus and say the President of Nigeria.

Same also is the Name of God. The Name of God identifies who God is and also says the power God Commands and the position he occupies.

The Name Of The Almighty
1. His name is exalted because he Himself is exalted. Php 2:9 - 10

2. His name Can bring Terror to your enemies. Gen 35:5, Jos 2:9- 12, Isa 10:33

3. His Mighty Name Brings Protection and Deliverance. 1Ch 16:20-22

4. His Name is the Beginning and the Ending of All things. Rev 22:13 Rev 21:6 Rev 1:11 Rev 1:8

Exodus 3:12-13

Another way you can translate that is that 'He is the resurrection and life'.

Up until that time, they knew Jesus was powerful but they thought the power of Jesus stops only at healing. - That's the mistake most Christians make.

The bible says that he that has started a good work in you shall surely complete it.
So, if God has started a good work in your life, though it might not really look progressive, he shall surely bring it to perfect completion.

"17 Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already."
"18 Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:"

Another dimension of the Might of God is "Time and Seasons".
The Bible says: He changeth the times and season.

John 11:20-21
"20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house."
"21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died."

God is also the almighty when "All Hopes are lost", because he is able to still correct them.
God is powerful on earth, In the Heavens, the sea.

John 11:25
"25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:"

"HE THAT BELIEVETH IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE".
It means if you believe God, every lost hope will come alive into reality.

Beloved I welcome you to another evening in God presence. On Sunday we started looking at the Theme for this month – THE ALMIGHTY. This should make any believer happy and indeed proud that our God is Mighty. Of what use is someone that you call your back bone if he does not exercise power. Zep 3:17

Today we will be looking at two reason from the scriptures that illustrate the fact God is the Almighty.
1. Alpha and Omega: Our God is Almighty because he is the alpha and omega. I want us to imagine many things you started that you could not end in your power. Even if you say you will see someone the next day you add by the Grace of God because you know not everything is within your control. God is almighty because he is the Alpha and omega. All is within his power to do and undo. He is the almighty because he says the end in the beginning. Isa 46:9 -11, Rev 1:8, Exo 3:13 -15, Dan 4:34- 35

2. He is the Almighty because of the power he commands. People in this world have power which extends to their sphere of influence. The extent of God Power transcends just this earth. Jesus was confident when he spoke of this. Mat 28:18, Psa 46:1 -11, Gen 1:1. The creation of the word was by power in his word. Psa 24:1 and Heb 11:3

If God is the Almighty why then does he appear slow?

The almighty is the concatenation of two words "All" and "Mighty".
When we talk about the almighty, it means he is not mighty just to make you feel happy but also that he is mighty to save you, he is mighty to deliver, he is mighty to set free, mighty to break loose of the bondage of Satan, he is mighty to do everything.

Job 5:15
"15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty."

Jesus is another name for God himself.
The Bible says that at the mention of his name, every knee shall Bow.

What makes God the Almighty?
What makes God that every power on heaven and earth responds to him?

1- He created the whole world.
Genesis 1:1-2
"1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
"2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

God can reverse every form of irreversible curse placed by any entity.
This is because he created us, so he has the power to remove every form of curses too.

2- God owns the earth and everything inside it
Psalm 24:1,7
"1 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein."
"7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in."

3- Our God has the power to issue decrees
-" Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle."

4- God is mighty to deliver
Zephaniah 3:16-18
"16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack."
"17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing."
"18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden."

Matthew 28:18
"18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."

Genesis 17:1

We should always try to access our selves to know where we stand, if we are still in the faith or not.

Numbers 14:21
"21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord."

A faithful man: is a man that believes in faith and triumphant living.

If we want to live a triumphant life in glory, then we'll need to be faithful to God's ordinances.

Right from the creation of man, God has always found faithful men.

An example is Noah, that was why God saved him from getting flooded in the rain.
also Abraham, was faithful/ obedient to the commandments /ordinances no wonder we lived a triumphant live.

We need to ask our selves if we are faithful with God or we are trying to please men.

The Bible says: If you serve me faithfully, I will bless your bread and water, the works of your hand and none shall be barren in your land.

God's blessings will not come to some his children that are not faithful

Hebrews 3:5-6
"5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;"

"6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end."

The Bible said that Moses was faithful.
we should ask our selves. What record of faithfulness does God have for me?
God will distinguish you when you are faithful to him.

The only thing that can take you to the top is faithfulness.

Faithfulness creates a future for you.

Jeremiah 29:11
"11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

No wonder the bible said , signs and wonders shall follow them that believe.

A faithful child of God does not go about looking for Miracles.
Miracles and prophets should be looking for you.

2 Chronicles 16:9
"9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars."

The eyes of the lord is always set on us and God know the level of our faithfulness to him.

The choice to be faithful in God's vine yarn depends on you.

Job 36:11-12
"11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures."
"12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge."

This passage should give us confidence of why we need to be obedient and faithful to God's commands.

When God requests us to follow him, we should obey without hesitation.

John 12:36
"36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them."

Keys to Living a triumphant life.

-1- You need to know that you are a new creature.
1 Corinthians 5:17 If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.

-2- You should know that you are Special.
You were bought with a price, which is the blood of Jesus.

You are the Handwork of God to show forth his Glory.
1 Peter 2:9-10
"9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;"
"10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy."

-3- You are above all
This means that you are above disease poverty, barrenness, etc..
This happens when you begin to know the truth.
The Bible says that: And Ye shall shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

-4- You are gods
Does God suffer sickness? No.
God doesn't beg? No.
Psalms 82:6
"6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High."

"23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way."

The road to heaven is not a wide road, but a narrow road.
Will you be ready when the lord shall come?
We should always ask our self this question

One thing we should know is that our heavenly home is a secured place.

It is a place(Heaven) that Jesus said our treasures should be stored in heaven, where thieves can't steal from.

Our heavenly home is also a kingdom where God lives.

"20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:"

Revelation 3:12
"12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

Our Heavenly home is also called a new Jerusalem which is specially prepared.

Matthew 25:1-5
"1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom."
"2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish."
"3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:"
"4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps."
"5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept."

Three Reasons why some of the Virgins were Foolish
-1- They were not truthful to God.
Reason: They were called by the bridegroom. They knew they needed a lamp but went without oil.
What is the use of a lamp without oil in it?
2 Chronicles 25:2
"2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart."

-2- They were also not truthful to themselves.
Matthew 26:30-35
"30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives."
"31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad."
"32 But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee."
"33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended."
"34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice."
"35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples."

They trusted there own ability.
Peter did similar, when he promised not to deny Christ

Proverbs 3:5 "5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."

-3- They were not truthful to others around them.
Matthew 25:8-9
"8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out."
"9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves."

Romans 1:29-32
"29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,"
"30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,"
"31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:"
"32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

Matthew 25:11
"11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us."

Heaven is not what we can achieve in the flesh, we can only look up to it by faith.

Abraham looked forward to that city

If God says that a kingdom is coming, then that kingdom is coming. God will never tell us lies.

God is preparing heaven for our arrival.

We need patience to and alertness to meet up with God's heavenly promise.

The bible likened the Journey to heaven with the examples of the story of 10 virgins

Matthew 25:1-3
"1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom."
"2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish."
"3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:"

Why do you think the foolish virgins decided not to take oil with them? It is because they weren't prepared.

What does it take to be prepared? Seriousness, Discipline, Total-Obedience.

Matthew 25:4-13
"4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps."
"5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept."
"6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him."
"7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps."
"8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out."
"9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves."

In the Kingdom of heaven, there is no borrowing of oil.
The kingdom of God is a choice for only prepared people.

Why do we Praise God?

We must praise God because we were created to Praise him

What can we give to God that he has not given to us,
If you want to thank God with your Mouth, Who gave you the mouth? God
You want to clap to God with your hands, Who gave yo those hands? God

The Word Bless The Lord means "Add to God", it sounds so funny because, what can we add to God?
If you buy a thousand cloths, How many will God wear? NONE
If you buy a thousand Houses for God, House many will he live in? NONE
If you buy a million shoes, How many can God wear? NONE

So, what can we add to God? Praises!!!

If you decide not to Praise God there are enough Praising God already
There is no Praises giving to God that is not been giving already
Even right now in heaven, Whenever the 24 elders in heaven think of God, all they do is just to Praise him

"Bless the Lord O' my Soul, "and all that is within me"
What is all that is within us? Our Hands, Legs, Hearts, Eyes, Ears, Mouth, Our Body, OUR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

Any beginning that doesn't begin with praises cannot end in Praises

Life is a good Journey with Jesus

Whenever we're in the Xmas festive we must not forget the reason for the season.

Most people go into Christmas without remember the reason for Christmas.

A life without Christ is a life with Crisis

It is not a new thing that many people go through Xmas without celebrating Christ.

Luke 2:41
Now his Parent went to Jerusalem at the feast of Passover, when he was 12 Years Old
And When they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his Mother knew not of it (They forgot Jesus!)

Usually, Many of us are carried away with the festivity(Cloth, Food, Party) of Christmas and we forget the reason for Christmas.

It took them an extra day before they k new Jesus was lost
Do you know that there are many people coming to church that have lost Jesus for a long time.
Some have lost Jesus since Year 2000, some 1999. It also happened in the bible when Jesus' parent lost Jesus for 3days.

=There are 3 reasons why we can forget Jesus=

1. A Man will forget Jesus if he becomes too comfortable, if you doubt that read "Deuteronomy 32:15"
"Deuteronomy 32:15= But Jeshurun grew Fat and kicked; You grew fat, You grew thick, You are Obese! Then he forsook God who made him"
- Many of us are Praying to buy a new Car, but when we buy the Car, we'll use it to carry Women everywhere. God doesn't want that
- Many of us want some blessings so as to oppress their neighbours. God doesn't want that
Jeshurun was coming to church when he had 1-Shoe. Even a mad man will ask for food when he's hungry

2. A Man will assume God is with him of God's evident provisions.
You can be coming to church daily and still go to Hell. You can come to church and still go back to SIn after Church

- A Man will forget Jesus because he assumes that he's a Christian.
- A lot of people tend to understand the Language of heaven but do not know God.
- God's blessing is not always signs of his presence =Daniel 4:1=
Nebuchadnezzar assumed God was with him because God was blessing him

Daniel 4:29
"At the end of the 12th Month he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.
The King spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon,
that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee."

3. A Man can forget Jesus because SIN is not quickly rewarded |Pharaoh, Samson| =Ecclesiastics 8:11-12=

"Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the Sons of men is fully set in them to do evil"

Joy is a long lasting happiness

In a Home joy is necessary to be present in a Family, Joy is not based on material achievement, but a gift from God.
Happiness is usually connected to material achievement like Career success, Present of financial abundance, birth of
a new child, etc....

John 2:1-8 "On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it."

The Presence of Jesus in our life's is the presence of Joy.
AT the party in John 2:1-8, It was the presence of Jesus that restored the exhausted Joy in the party. We need Joy
in our Home/Family, If Jesus lives in our Family, then Joy is bound to be in it.
The presence Pride is not the presence of Joy in the Family.

Parents should carry their Family along in the Christian Faith, this is because without the presence of Jesus
in our life's and children's life's there cant be Joy.

Lets stop taking our Husband's for granted, lets respect and Obey them.

We need to dress in a God fearing style of clothing to glorify God and also to look beautiful to our partners too.

Eph 5:22--->>>"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord."

Wife's should submit themselves to their husbands, agree and plan your life's together
Husbands should also respects their wives and they should also strive to please their wives too

Eph 5:28 "In the same way, Husbands should love their wives"
Couples should act as one, not as completely separate humans.


Proverbs 4:1 "Hear, O sons, a father's instruction, and be attentive, that you may gain insight"

Children should humble themselves in the presence of God and also live a Godly life always

Luke 2:10 "And the Angel said unto him fear not for behold I bring you good tidings of great Joy which shall be to all people"
The word "fear not" occur several times in the Bible, any time God wants to say something Big.

God is saying he is bringing good tidings to you, so you need not to fear.

Joy is the fruit of the Holy Spirit

Happiness is tied down to a particular event.
There are times when men say there is a cast down, but Joy keeps flowing

Joy means Gladness, Cheerfulness
James 1:2 "My brethren count it all Joy when you fall in diverse temptation"

This kind of Joy we are talking of is not overconfidence, its premised at our sufficiency in God

The reason why we should have this Joy is because our future is premised on God, not on the fact that we work hard.

Joy becomes strength when God is backing you.

The best epistles in the new testament were written in the prison, just because the Joy of the Lord gave him strength

Whenever we ear the word of the lord, there should be rejoicing, because the Bible says Heaven and Earth ll pass away,
my word will not go away.
-Hebrew 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him"

Let the Joy of the Lord be your strength, even when things are not working perfectly, just have Faith.

There is a Joy that can be celebrated by one person, There is another Joy that can be celebrated by a group of people.

There is a Joy that when you have it, only your family will celebrate it, There is another Joy that people will celebrate
with you when you send an invitation for Celebration

There is another Joy that people will celebrate with you even un-invited.

Every great moment of Joy always start with an experience, it could be a sickening experience, it could be a touching experience,
it could be an arrowing experience, There is good news and the news is that Joy is at the door.

Any time you have an experience and you are heaven laden, don't worry, Joy is at the door.

Joseph and Mary were never expecting Joy when it came into there life the way they were.

Brethren if you have your way, you will want to stay in the best places, want the best miracles, own the best Joy and
some certain Miracles

Mary laid Jesus in the manger just because there was no room in the inn "Luke 2:7"
Maybe the situation there has been that you have been missing your Blessings somehow, You shall not miss it again in
Jesus name.

God says in the midst of what you are going through, Joy is at the Door for you.

Habakkuk 3:17-18 "Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive
shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut from the fold, and there shall be no herd
in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my Salvation"

John 15:5 -I am the vine (God was specific at making this point)
I am the vine, ye are the branches he that abide in me and i in him,
that same bringeth much fruit, for without me you can do nothing.

It is good to associate our selves with powerful people here on earth, God himself is proud to associate himself with us.

If you try to please God with your Power, then you are a failure *because he said:without me you
can do nothing*

If you are struggling to do something and it's not working, then God is not yet in it. *He that abideth
in me shall bring much fruit*

A fruit is a product that can reproduce it's self

So we can also say that the Fruit Of The Spirit is when God wants to reproduce himself in our life, and he
knows that we cannot do it our self.

God expects us to operate exactly like him through the Holy Spirit in our lives *God is loving, Passionate, Patient: He
his actually patient with sinners just because he wants them to change before Judgement.

This is why John 3:16 says that God so much loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son *Just because
he so loved the World*

Galatians 5:19-21 works of the flesh are Adultery, fornication, uncleanliness, Witch-craft, etc.......
Many people appear Physically Holy but are secret sinners.


Fruit of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace
The Joy of the lord is our Strength.
The Joy of the lord is present in our lives regardless of the situations of life when we have the fruit of the SPirit manifest
in our lives.

#Peace: if your at peace with God then you'll be at peace with man.
The Peace that passeth all understanding shows the presence of the Fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

-Faithfulness, Selflessness, Long-suffering

#Long-suffering(Patience): This is the opposite of been Short-tempered, you cannot be short-tempered and feel you have
the fruit of the Spirit in you.
God has faith in you that you will have a better life than this, He has hope that one day that you will be saved.
The main reason why God is long-suffering is that he wants everyone to repent from SIN.

Those that keep his commandment can delight in his loving-kindness, those led by the Spirit will produce Long-suffering in
their life's.

Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us (Our Lord's Prayer)
God expects us to exhibit himself in our life's, this is why he wants to forgive us exactly how we forgive others.

Vengeance is a displays the absence of the Holy Spirit in our life's.

Colosians 3:12 "Put on the garment of Kindness"

You need the Fruit of the Holy Spirit live like God.

One of the core Job of the Holy Spirit is to comfort us, which is to encourage Us.

Why do we need his comfort?

-Jeremiah 29:11
Life is a suspense, so we need the Holy Spirit to guide, comfort and encourage us.
The work of the comforter is meant to guide us in winning the Challenges of our life's

Humanly speaking, tomorrow is unclear to anyone,we don't know if something good will happen, we don't know if something evil will happen, Life is full of challenges.

-Even the children of God were unclear of what tomorrow holds for them,
that was why before Jesus left for heaven he said "I will not leave you comfort less" -John 14:18
because i know that the devil will want to steal your Joy, the devil will want to cause Set-backs and also that the devil will try to crush you down that is why is said he will not leave us comfort less.
-God is not Man that should lie, that is why he will fulfil his promise by giving us a comforter.

How can you be sure that he will lead you through Jeremiah 29:1-11

Even Priests, Pastors and every other person can get to a point where the future is unclear, but remember that "He's working for your Good"

God has a timing for everything, so we need the comfort of the Holy Spirit to be Patient.
Your Blessing, Joy and every other thing has a timing.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Romans 8:28 "For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God and work according to his plans"

But you cannot get anything if you are not standing right with God
That is why you need to surrender your life to Jesus

A fruit is a product that can reproduce its same kind.
That is why we need to observe our self if we look more like God or more like the Devil || The behaviour of The World||.

Those that are led by the Spirit of God are the Son's of God.

The Basic work of the Holy Spirit in our life's is to overcome Sin --The Flesh.
Even the flesh has its own manifestation

*Gal 5:19-- Now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these :Adultery, fornication, uncleanliness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, Hatred, variance emulations, sedition, strive, heresy, envy, murder, drunkenness and such like....

They that do the things of the flesh shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

*Disadvantages of Following the things of The Flesh
-The Things of the Flesh Destroys the liberty we enjoy in Christ.
-They Prevent us from following the leading of the Holy Spirit.
-They stop us from "inheriting the Kingdom of God".

They that are in the Spirit are not under the law, they produce fruit against which there's no law.

The manifestations of the Spirit is also the Fruit of The Spirit

-Gal 5:19 -But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, is Joy, is Peace, is Long suffering, is Gentleness, Goodness,is Faith, is meekness, is Temperance against such there's no law.

Love(Agape)- It seeks the Good of others, which is divine.
The gift of love is what you can produce yourself. It is only the Holy Spirit that can produce this in our life's.

-It takes love to Give, Pray and even not to Sin. Because love endangers a deeper love from our father in heaven.
-It takes Love to Forgive easily
-The presence of love means Joy

Phil 4:4 -Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Those who are led by the Spirit will have peace of mind.
-Peace in hopeless situations.

The Absence of Peace is usually the presence of Sin. In Genesis 1, when man Adam sinned he lost peace with God that was why he was hiding from God after his disobedience.
But if you set your affection on the things of God, Peace will continually reside in us.

Anybody led by the Spirit of God will always have Peace.

David said in Psalm 23: "Yea , though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil".

We need to be at Peace with our self's, if we have the Spirit of God in Us.

We need the Fruit Of the Spirit of God to be like God i.e. to depict that we were created from his Image.

-Everything you do without the Holy Spirit is empty

In a family where the Holy Spirit is not reigning, that family cannot be dependable, God cannot count on that family.
-When the Holy Spirit is not in the life of any of the family members, nothing will work. This is why our family should be a temple of the Holy Spirit
-To grow in the Spirit you need to read your Bible and Pray everyday.

Some of us have lost our Joy just because of our inability to secure our material desires, but God has the answer to all of our request in due time. There is no problem that God cannot solve in a day.
* In 2-Kings 4, we can see how God solved the problem of a Nation in one day.
Our ways are not God's ways, just commit your ways to God's hands and lean not on your own understanding.
-Prov. 3:5-6

*1 Samuel 2:22-36-- Eli was a faithful man of God for the nation of Israel but unfortunately, his children grew up without knowing God.

- Its good to be the best in life, but its better knowing God.
The Bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and the rest shall be added unto you.
- The best gift you can give anybody is to preach Salvation of Christ to that person.
The mistake Eli made with his children was that he failed to carry his family along his connection with God. The children of Eli disrespected God in several ways. They ate the offering of God, fornicated, etc...
- Teaching your Children the way of God is more important than any other teaching in Life, unfortunately parents don't do this, just because they cannot give what they do not have. Parent are too busy caring about material things other than the things of God. When you are only concerned about the things of the body, then its useless.

*John 6:63 ~NKJV~: It is the Spirit who gives life; "the flesh profits nothing". The Words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

So, how are we building our Family.
Eli's fault was that he was busy doing the work of God but forgot to raise his family.

A Prayerful family is a Dependable Family.
We cannot raise a God fearing family without the help of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit helps our family & life's only when Jesus resides in our Hearts.

With man it is totally impossible to please God, but with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Man Sins not because he wants to sin, Man sins because he was born a Sinner.

Romans 6 says: The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Paul says in Romans 7:22 ~I love to do God's will so far as my new nature is concerned; but there is something else deep within me, in my lower nature, that is at war with my mind and wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.
In my mind i want to be God's willing servant but instead I find myself still enslaved in sin.
So you see how it is: my new life tells me to do right, but the old nature that is still inside me loves to sin. Oh what a terrible predicament I'm in! Who will free me from my slavery to this deadly lower nature?
Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord. He has set me free.

*The core work of the Holy Spirit is to help free us from the thirst of SIN.
*The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is one sure way to overcoming Sin.

As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the lord.
Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard the steadfastness of JOB, and you have seen the purpose of the lord, how the lord is compassionate and merciful.

Jesus said concerning Lazarus' death in John 11:4 which says:
But when Jesus heard it he said, "This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, do that the Son of God may be glorified through it"


So, Don't give-up, Don't loose Hope, Don't go back to your former life of Sin because the darkest hour of the Night is usually about the hour of the break of dawn.

WHEN GOD DOES WONDERS

Exodus 14: 24-25

God himself is a wonder. Why? Because He does wonder. Remember, what you are is usually determined by what you do, for instance, a teacher is the person teaches in a school, also, a singer is one because the person sings. And so it is with God, He is a wonder because he does wonders. God is said to be the Lion and the Lamb. Have you ever wondered how He can be both at the same time? These creatures are totally different from each other, as a matter of fact, they are opposites. But God is said to be both. Even is being Omnipresent is wondorous. He is such a wonder.

Why He does wonders. (Exodus 14:1-4, 17, 18).

God does wonders to tell that He is the one and only mighty God. He does wonders to show Himself strong; which is why He calls Himself the I AM THAT I AM (Ex 3:14). He does wonder to show He is who He is, and there is no other God but Him.

When He does Wonders, what happens? (Ex 14:24)

- When God does wonders, not only will it marvel everyone, but even enemies are put into confusion. (Daniel 3:23-24, the story of Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image). From this reading, we saw that Nebuchadnezzar got confused. At this point in time, it was not just that the Hebrew men were not burnt as expected, but also, the three men in the fiery furnace suddenly became four, As if that wasn't enough, the fourth person was like the son of God.

- Another thing that happens when God does wonder is that, enemies’ surrenders. Daniel 3:26 explains it better. The same thing happened with the Egyptians, they wanted to run, they said “ let us flee from the face of the Israel”. This shows that when God does wonders, the enemy let go.

- One more thing that happens when God does wonders is that, His name is glorified. Nebuchadnezzar in Vs 28 glorified God. He had no choice, in fact, he gave up. Even the Israelites sang songs to God in Ex 15. God will do wonders to silence the enemies in our lives in Jesus name

When God does wonder always expect the un-expectable. God word to us this month and now is that God is Wonder and He will do Wonders in Our Life.

God is offering every human a quality of life that is better than
anything we have ever heard, seen, or personally experienced It
("Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all
that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" -Eph 3:20.)
is beyond the grasp of our wildest imagination.

The Apostle Paul implied that this offer of life was the embodiment of the Gospel
that should be preached to the world. But we have not heard
that God was this good. We have not heard that salvation was this
good. In many instances, we have heard just the opposite. As such, we have not been highly motivated to make the journey in pursuit of this life. At best, the average believer might hope that it exists in the distant future of the afterlife. But salvation is now! The Kingdom is now! God is the “I Am;” He is not the “I Will be,” nor the “I Was!”
Those who look to the past or to the future negate their capacity to live in the eternal now and experience the Kingdom within!
