About Ogun state, yes it leverages its proximity to Lagos which is the point I made about LOCATION. But for a country the size of Nigeria you need many industrial layouts not a few here and there. Many goods made in Niegria you see in the East come from Ogun/Agbara. Indomie, Milo, Hayat Tissue Paper, Maggi cubes, Floor and kitchen tiles, cement, aluminum profiles. Yes Anambra industrialists are trying but none has the scale of those multinationals. Nestle alone sells over 100b worth of goods produced in Ogun state.

Anambra for now is more of a distribution point. Onitsha has over 40 markets and people flock there to buy and carry elsewhere. But production wise you need 10 companies the size of Intafact Bewery and 500 companies the size of Cutix and Innoson to jumpstart the state employment wise.

Nigeria doesn't even fulfil local demand, given its size, that's why it doesn't export on the same scale. But it's industries is several times the size of Morocco - that is a fact.

I don't agree with you. What Ogun companies are manufacturing the tiles that are sold in Anambra? Why don't Ogun state have the commercial sector to facilitate the industries, you claim are producing, but no one has ever heard of. Ogun State's economy is smaller than Anambra.

Ogun States private sector is also significantly smaller, which is reflected in the level of infrastructure. The issue in Nigeria is the supply chain. Nigeria doesn't produce enough, because those in power, deliberately bottlenecked the economy, so that they could control the rate of growth and development, primarily in the Eastern region.

Ogun today has more industry than Lagos because of proximity, a planned estate, and cheap land and no traffic congestion. There are more industries in Ogun state than in the entire South East including those run by Anambrarians such as Beloxxi and Emzor.

But Ogun is not even all that. Nigeria doesn't have industry like South Africa or Egypt. We import okrika from Europe and America and fabric from China, clothes from Turkey, junk cars from America. Morocco makes 500,000 cars, the only assembly we gave which is Innoson and Peugeot barely assembly 10,000 cars a year.

So not much industry in Nigeria other than food and drinks and some household stuff. Even simple pen and paper we import.

Nigeria has the largest industrial sector in Africa. Moroccans import far more stuff than Nigeria. Virtually nothing is made in Morocco, so, not a good example.

What exactly is manufactured in Ogun State for you to call it industrialised? There may be a few industries there, trying to leverage off the cheaper land costs, but that has more to do with the states proximity to Lagos, rather than anything the state is doing.

Hatred is an irrational emotion and after the civil war, it became imperative to distance onesself from Igbo people for means of survival.

Restructuring will never happen, because it means certain regions of the country willingly relinquishing their advantage(s). Nigeria as it exists right now, is the only reason Northern Nigeria chooses to remain in Nigeria. It was a political agreement made by a potential incumbent. No papers need be signed. It's either, he fulfils it or he doesn't.

As I said before, Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB movement, is about separation from Nigeria. It was a personal agreement, between Atiku and Nnamdi. If PDP won, he'd make way for a referendum. That's the only reason why Nnamdi would EVER instruct his people to vote in an election. Nnamdi HATES Nigeria, and wants nothing more to see his people out of the union. He has no desires or plans of dominating a Nigeria. On one hand Ndigbo are being led by Ipob under the leadership of the their so-called supreme leader, Nnamdi Kanu. According to them, Nnamdi Kanu derives his authority from God and most of his pronouncements are therefore final and cannot be challenged. Some few days later, after much pleading and appeal, Nnamdi Kanu suspended the stoning for three months. The three-month grace is for Nnia Nwodo to stop being a saboteur of the Biafra struggle. We are yet to hear from Nwodo himself. However many Ndigbo are already praising Nnamdi Kanu for his listening ear and showing mercy to Nwodo. They are advising him on how to better run Ipob and how they want its success. The passionate Biafrans have nothing to do with Nigeria and Nigerians and cannot wait to see Nigeria disintegrate. Atiku/Obi presidential campaign on PDP platform however tested Ipob resolve when Nnamdi Kanu commanded his base to vote for PDP. How Nnamdi Kanu would have achieved his Biafra this way is best known to him. Nnamdi Kanu has exposed his hypocrisy and fraud by this singular act. It means Nnamdi Kanu may not be working for Biafra after all: his agenda is to position Ndigbo as a hegemonic power in the nation seat of power.

Having known that Ipob is actually working for Ndigbo to clinch power at the centre, the Igbo project of taking over the presidency should now be seeing as a strategy being executed from many fronts. The fact is Ndigbo are after the presidency and every other things are a distraction.

All said and done it is crystal clear Ndigbo want the presidency and Ipob is just a blackmailing tool. All hands are on deck for Ndigbo to see one of their own in Aso Rock. That is the greater Igbo agenda.

Atiku agreed to a referendum if elected, that's why Nnamdi instructed people to vote for PDP.

Enugu need serious development instead. It used to be the capital of Eastern Region and it is an eyesore. No industrial capacity, no bearing whatsoever, no development, and it is a shame that it was listed as top poverty capital of the South in the NBS lasr report.

I never derailed the thread, in fact, I tried to help the thread, by showing video footage of the state. Some good videos at that. So let's stick with Abeokuta. As I said before, Ogun is better than Oyo State.
