The truth is that a lot has been happening its just that this is big fish,,,I mean Ituah,,,,check up my earlier post on one Pastor Israel Ajayi of RCCG too,,,within a year his wife he got wedded to left him for another pastor who had more money than Ajayi,,,the reason been that Ajayi failed to fulfil his part of the vow of marrying the lady,,,

Last Sunday was wonderful. The Lord truly ministered to me through my incredible Area Pastor. He looked very grave as he started the sermon. He removed his Rolex and placed it on the dais. Then he took off his thousand dollar Zegna suit jacket. The congregation knew something was amiss. You could have heard a pin drop. I too was shaking.

Pastor looked straight at us and said. "The Lord has told me that there is a woman in this place. She hasn't been able to have children and has been crying to the Lord for help.

"Come out now," he shouted.

After about thirty seconds, a buxom young woman walked gingerly to the altar.

My pastor continued, "The Lord has told me that there is a demonic lizard in your private part blocking your uterus and today I shall remove that evil creature."

"Alleluia," we all shouted.

I shall now demonstrate that we serve a powerful God, the pastor said. He was like a man possessed. "Remove your garments," he shrieked. The lady removed her clothes and stood in front of the congregation. She had the best breasts I had ever seen and her lingerie was something else.

"And your undergarments," my pastor added, without batting an eyelid.

She slowly removed her undies and was now stark naked. I was having trouble concentrating. My penis was rock hard and I was using my bible to cover it.

Then my pastor put his fingers into her vagina and removed an old green lizard.

There is great power in my church. "Praise the Lord!!!"

I dunno why we Africans can't just adhere strictly to professional ethics.The committee judged that he had not behaved ethically but he shouldn't have waited for that to happen since he knows his decision could have serious consequences for the future of the Church.Pastors are re-marrying and citing his case and it's obvious that the G.O was handicapped by this emerging dissolution. pastor Ituah is one of his favorites and the necessary must be done.
I think it's strictly black because a white man will resign before it turns out like this.Why must we always wait for disciplinary actions to be taken or expecting our own case to be different when we're conversant with the rules of engagement.

It won't hurt if not act of laziness for U to go through a good number of the posts here.Simple questions have been asked ever since,,,and what we need is simple and straight forward answers.
1.Who and who attended the wedding 2yrs ago?
2.Was the GO aware of his wedding 2yrs ago( The GO in this case was aware and probably was present or sent in representations)
3.Who was the officiating RCCG pastors during the wedding?
4.Why didn't they look at the so called constitution in the last 2yrs?
5.If Ighodalo resigns because they don't pastors to remarry,,,re they saying memders can remarry as long as they wouldn't be pastors?
      Peopl re just so funny because they have failed to engage their God given intellect/brain to think,,,from the time of old,,,Religion as practiced by men would definately fail as this applies to RCCG in particular.The real questions re actually beyond this remarry issue,,,the real question is re people actually having a relationship with God or its sorcery they re practicing?,,,when U practice sorcery that is based on our father in the Lord said this or that,,,or this is how our daddy in the said it should be,,,U would keep having problem with who and what God ecpects of U as a child.

I am a member of Christ Church parish and was in church when Pastor Itua announced his sack 3 sundays ago. It was really sad because he has been an inspiration to all and we miss him so so much.
But lets face it, its all in the bible. a christian that divorces and remarries commits adultery. Mark 10 and Matthew 5 says it all. Christians have to abide by the law Moses wrote in the Bible. He was not meant to marry at all until his first wife dies. If she doesn't he should remain single. Its all in the Bible and as a man of God, he should live by the word.
As for the sack, it was the elders of the church that unanimously agreed to sacking the pastor, not G.O. Adeboye. He was aware this was going to happen in the first place. he was just praying against it.

Now my question is this: Wasn't the GO and the hierachy of the church aware of of his wedding 2yrs ago? who and who were present at the ceremony ? who was the officiating pastor that solemnised the wedding?
I was a member of RCCG b4,,,my advise is this; if the GO does not stop listening to all those so called elders and mother of israel,,the fall of the church is imminent.When a church is not built on CHRIST its bound to fail.There is so much men's wisdom in RCCG,,what obtains there now is simply RELIGION.
Now a further question; why do we have 2 sets of congregations in RCCG? what is the meaning of Model Parish and what is the meaning of Classical Parish?
In one, members dress like deeper life,, the other, members dresses in wuz up style.So isn't that confusing in itself?People just continue to do follow follow without reasoning.
As far as I know and based on the Bible,,,Itua is over 1000% correct for his decision to get married,,,pls check 1st Cor. 7 VERSES 15.

Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly has joined the growing number of Nigerians who have so far criticised the sack of Pastor Itua Ighodalo of the Redeemed Christian Church of God for remarrying 10 years after divorcing his former wife.

P.M.News had two weeks ago published a story about the removal of Ighodalo, who before his sack, was the Pastoral head of Province 18 of the church in Lagos. This comprises all the branches of the church in Gbagada Parish.

Pastor Bakare in his sermon titled ‘Mammon and Their Counterfeit Astonishing Power’, yesterday decried the sacking of Pastor Ighodalo.

According to the pastor, who spoke mostly in parables, this same church that sacked the pastor for remarrying would honour other inviduals with more than one wife, giving them front seats in the church.

Hear him: “As a young Christian, a man married a total stranger and when it was time for him to come home, his wife refused to follow him.

“The man came down, gathered people to intercede for him for 10 years while gathering the flocks for his God and after ten years, he decided to re-marry and all of a sudden, the church said they found it somewhere in the Bible that he cannot remarry, whereas those with three wives are given front seats in the church.”

According to him, such was the level of the degeneration of the church generally to the extent that those who belong to the occult would be given important personality treatment in the church at the expense of imparting strict religious doctrines.

Pastor Bakare said most churches have embraced sorcery in order to perform fake miracles.

The man of God also praised the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido for what he termed his bold steps for removing five bank managing directors.

While praying for Sanusi, Bakare said he was sure that the apex bank governor was ready to sanitise the banking sector.

“I know nothing would happen to him. I am not saying he is a saint, but God can use anybody he chooses,” the man of God said while advising all those who took loans from the banks to pay back in their own interest

My gross in this whole saga is this: This man got married 2years ago in RCCG,,he was very close to the G.O. and other top echelon of the church.The who is who in RCCG were present in the wedding.
Further more, If the concept of whatsoever God joined together should not be put asunder,,,what do RCCG now wants him to do? To divorce his second wife? If he does that,wouldn't a further question be raised as to probably it wasn't God that joined them together in the first place.
My think is line with 1st Cor.15 verses 7,,,I think this pastor is freed from any bondage.Moreso, the fact he was married b4 doesn't mean it was God that validate such marriage,,well hope to see how this would be eventually resolved!!!

Clergymen in the country have expressed divergent views over the sack of a popular provincial pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, by the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Ighodalo, who was the pastor of the Christ Church Parish of the RCCG, in Gbagada, a suburb of Lagos, was compelled to quit because he got married a second time, ten years after he separated from his wife, Lucy-Ann Summer, now married to another man. Ighodalo, an accountant, got married to former Miss Lux, Ibidunni Ajayi in 2007.

While the General Superintendent, Deeper Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi and the General Overseer, Four Square Gospel Church, Reverend Wilson Badejo, say that divorce is unscriptural and Christians who choose the path of divorce should not be pampered, other pastors say a man of God is free, according to a biblical injunction, to divorce his wife and remarry in the case of adultery.

“I don’t think it was right for pastor Adeboye to ask Pastor Ighodalo to resign because he remarried a second time. This matter is not to be looked at the way we want, but to see it the way the Word of God sees it. 1Tim 3:2 says that a bishop must be a man of one wife, and Jesus Christ said in Math 19:9, a man should put away his wife if she commits adultery! So if this woman had left her husband for ten years and had been living with another man, this pastor is free by the word of God to put her away and get married again,” Pastor Azuka of Faithword Ministry said.

Another Clergyman, Pastor Samuel Oduyemi of the Holy Order of Cherubim and Seraphim (Ayo ni o), Iba, expressed a similar opinion. He said: “The bible says in Matthew 18, except for the case of adultery, should a man divorce his wife. The bible says if a man marries legally, he is supposed to divorce his wife if she commits adultery. And if the divorce is going to take place, it is supposed to be legal. If they have been to the registry for marriage, then they should go to the law court for the divorce. If the divorce is legal, then, they are free to remarry to avoid temptation.”

According to Pastor Badejo, only death can separate a Christian couple.

Speaking on the sack of Pastor Ighodalo, the General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church, Rev. Wilson Badejo said the church has its policies that must be adhered to strictly.

“You are talking of somebody who was told that if you remarry, you cannot fit into our mould again. In the Catholic Church, for instance, you cannot marry at all if you want to be a reverend father or what we call priest. The moment you make up your mind to become a reverend father in the Catholic Church, you are bound by the law of celibacy.

“The Redeemed Christian Church of God says if you have a living partner, you cannot remarry. So, with that guiding principle, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo is aware of it; he has been with it over the years—he has been coping…except the Lord has now advised him to the contrary.

According to him, “We have biblical support to back the prevailing circumstance. When you read I Corinthians 7, that if your wife separates from you, it should be for a while and you should be rejoined together so that you are not tempted beyond measure.

“We have a similar case of that of Ighodalo in our church. One of our district overseers, whose wife deserted him for over 48 years, never remarried. It takes a lot of grace and takes grace to hear the voice of God. Our stand in the Foursquare Gospel Church is the same. However, what we say is that if come like that, you cannot be a leader but you can continue to worship in the church as an ordinary member. You are free to come in and join us in worship but you cannot be a worker or a leader. That is our stand. We won’t excommunicate you but you will not be a leader.”

Reverend Jonathan Itietite of Church of God Mission International, (Favour Embassy),Iba Estate, remarked that Christians now get divorced because of the attitude of their spouses, saying that Jesus Christ did not condone separation.

“The bible says what God has joined together, let no man put asunder. People divorce because of the attitude of their spouse. Even when Jesus was preaching, he did not condone separation.”

According to Pastor Erastus Deji of the Parliament of Faith Ministry International, also known as Peakmark Arena, Ogba, “It is true that in Christendom, divorce is not a thing to be celebrated because it has to do with separation and Jesus did not teach us to separate after marriage.

“Although most of this is obtainable outside the country in the African setting, divorce is not celebrated. Jesus told us basically on the ground that if the woman committed adultery, now separation will come in, but on the other hand, if the man is merciful enough to forgive, then, there should be no divorce. There could be forgiveness because God said you should forgive one another.

Evangelist Elishama Ideh of Christ Ever- Present Ministries, Ogba, said “there are different angles to marriage and divorce in the bible. If you look at the old testament in the time of Moses, he actually gave a view of a woman who is not happy living with her husband to take a divorce. But when Jesus Christ came, he disallowed that and said no man can divorce his wife except in the case for adultery. In the same new testament, a man and a woman are allowed to separate on the ground of adultery, and again Christ put it to us that though we can separate, on the ground of adultery, it is much better to forgive and be at peace. So indirectly, He is saying it is not really allowed, you should be able to forgive.

“There is another one again in the book of Corinthians 7:14-16. It says when the person departs, there is no case for forgiveness because the person has already departed, because it says a brother or a sister is not under bondage. You are to forgive because you don’t know if you are the one to save that person.”

This is not actually to beef RCCG,,,however it is the unpredented manner with which RCCG and its Pastors and members hits the News with unspeakable scandals.
Pastor Bunmi Oni RCCG, Pastor Erastus Akingbola RCCG,,,and there was one senior pastor in Abuja who died in a plane crash and was found to have 2 wives and involved in a fraud which the EFCC was suppose to get him arrested prior to his death,,,,,
Bunmi Oni and Erastus ran down known Nigerian companies,,,I think RCCG should begin to get their Pastors Born-Again first b4 preaching to the world or opening up several church(s) in every corners of the street.

Any moment from now, the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) led by Pastor William Kumuyi, will formally commission its satellite television station, thus, joining the league of churches that already have their own satellite television stations in Nigeria.

Already, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), led by Enoch Adeboye, Christ Embassy, founded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Synagogue Church owns by Temitope Joshua have their own satellite stations.

The DCLM, founder by Pastor Kumuyi, P.M.News gathered, is ready to float its own station this month, while preparation for its effective take off is going on.

Top leaders of the DCLM are working round the clock to ensure that the television station kicks off by 24 August.

For now, a top source in the church told P.M.News that the satellite television station will stand on its own and would not align with either HiTV or DSTV.

The television station will be a distinct Deeper Life station that would see anybody wanting to hook up subscribing to the church’s satellite cable.

P.M.News learnt that the primary purpose of the television station is to evangelise the world for Christ, as Kumuyi’s messages will feature prominently on the proposed satellite station.

In the 15 divisions of the church in Lagos State, preparation is ongoing as choristers of the church are busy recording songs that will be aired on the new station.

The station will broadcast 24 hours on daily basis and all year round, while programmes to be featured in the station include Christian talk shows, magazine programmes, preaching programmes, gospel musical shows, among others.

Kumuyi is said to have given approval for the take-off of the station and is optimistic that souls would be won to Christ through programmes that would be aired on the station.

In June this year, top leaders of the church within the country and in Africa converged at the International Bible Training Centre (IBTC), Ayobo, along with Deeper Life members, who are media practitioners from across the country, to brainstorm on how to run the station.

Programmes that would benefit the children, youths, women and others were drawn and presented to leaders of the church for consideration to be aired on the station.

Apart from pre-recorded programmes that would be aired on the television station, many of Kumuyi’s messages at crusades, retreats, youth fora and others would be beamed live to the world.

The station would begin to test-run this month and is expected to be one of the biggest Christian television stations in the world.

The church is taking advantage of global technology to launch out to the world with the gospel, through satellite television station.

Before now, Deeper Life had introduced Live Transmission to beam Kumuyi’s Bible Study, some Sunday Worship Services and others to church members only.

Through live transmission, members of the church worldwide could simultaneously watch Kumuyi’s teaching and preaching in their various local assemblies or through the internet.

The introduction of the satellite television station is to ensure that the shortcoming experienced during the live transmission of the church programmes, when members of the church could not easily hook up with the station and listen to Kumuyi’s messages live, are solved.

As a christian,, I am particularly disappointed at the way pastors,Bishops and GO's re running church in Nigeria.I personally do not have any regards for Nigerian pastors save for Kumuyi,Bakare and a few others not more than 2 or 3.
How do U expect a church(RCCG) that demands members should pay #20 or #10 in order to use toilets and bathrooms,,,to provide all those social amenities U were talking about?
U have giving very logical reasonings here man! How can a church establish a University where over 99% of its members can not afford to send their kids to except the criminals in the society.Are these schools actually meant to transform and inform the kids of the criminal and wealthy of the society at the expense of the poor members who re now been deeply brainwashed beyond Boko Harams!,,,,

Its unbelieveable sad to see that a self professed Atheist have a better understand of the Bible than many religious people here.Tudor has been interpreting the Bible as regards the issue and all some people can say to him is that "he is lost",,,,
 A lot of Christians in Nigeria are actually lost becos they don't even know what they believe. Why should anybody ever think criticising a pastor is a sin? why should anybody think as a pastor U can do no wrong or make a mistake? This no doubt is the height of brainwashing and manipulation! Whereas the Bible urges us to be like the Berean Christians who after they have received a message from anyone,,,they go back to the scripture to revalidate it authenticity.
 I was once in RCCG but am no more,,,and I would say to a lot wrong and errors are going on in that church.Its just time that would make everything obviuos.Almost every week,,there is always one issue with RCCG in the media,,,this is enough to tell U something is not right and the church needs to wake up.What is the need having 500 parishes when more half of the pastors re not even born-again? Its not about the population or quantity of people coming to worship,its rather the quality of believers,,,,,

I thought U re an intelligent person! I asked you a question to revalidate ur position as earlier stated by you that its the office of the GO that owns the Jet,,,now U re resorting to low ebb to escape my questioning,,,even Revd. Please respond to my question! Again I ask who owns the Jet? Is it owned by Adeboye, RCCG as organisation or by 5members of the church? Remember U said its owned by the office of the GO of RCCG,,,however this is contrary to several possible excuses the church has ascribed to the ownership of the Jet.
Sometimes last year, members of the RCCG were asked to contribute to the purchase of the Jet,,but today people are confused about the ownership of the Jet.Mere men would just wake up one day and use RELIGION to cover up very logical questionable ACTS by the practioneers of such religion,,,There re greater men of God who were actually after God's heart that fell off from God's grace,,,these re the signs we re seeing in RCCG,,,there is no point defending the church,,what U should do is pass the message to the pastor or GO that people re actually raising questions about the church activities and that these questions re very genuine and logical.

King Saul in the Bible when he became King of Israel,, he was a man after God's eye! God's annointing was on him,,both God and the people were pleased with him.
However, when he(King Saul) started sliding, he never knew how it started.God actually departed from Saul and David had the opportunity to even strike(Kill) Saul,,,but David refused doing that cos David understood kingship.
In same vein, many and several so called men God of when they start falling, they wouldn't know where and how it started,,, it just start from one step to the other.This was how Revd. Jimmy Jones started, in Nigeria we used to have one Pastor Anwuzia,,but he fell cos the only message he's got is prosperity and false teaching.
My analysis of RCCG is that the Pastor seems to having very wrong advisers,,RCCG was not known for things like this,,this to me is mere manipulation concorted with some theological quotation in order to achieve a desired end.RCCG should bother itself with an almost everyday News focus on the church.Religion is a very big problem in Nigeria.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has formed another millionaires’ club as he plans to raise N1.7billion for the church’s development and programmes.

The new club, named Club 1,000, according to the GO, is for people who can give N1 million whenever God wants it.

Club 1,000, which will be inaugurated on 6 September by 5 p.m. at the Prayer Foyer of the Redemption Camp, is to complement the Club 70 formed several years ago for people who can give N10 million whenever God demanded for it.

Adeboye, who announced the formation of the club while giving a report on the activities of the church between August 2008 and August this year at the 57th Annual Convention held between 3 and 10 August, tagged - Christ in me, the hope of glory, said, for a while, he has not been calling on the Club 70 members, because God told him, He (God) wants to take all the glory for all the work in the auditorium.

“For three to four years now, we have not been asking for special offering for things going on in the camp. God told me that he wants to receive all the glory.

“The Lord has been very good, when we look at what He has done and what remains, we need to pray for more help,” Adeboye said.

The mathematician turned preacher said there are still more than 100 nations of the world where there is no RCCG, despite the church being in over 170 nations and opening at least 10 parishes everyday, adding that there is acute shortage of bathrooms, toilets and dormitories, and that though the church has many, they are now grossly inadequate because of its ever increasing population.

“The auditorium is completed now. As it is, it is now inadequate, thank God it is not raining. Now, I need your assistance to build more toilets, bathrooms and dormitories,” Adeboye pleaded.

He also announced that over 34,000 babies were born in RCCG between August 2008 and August this year. 4,200 marriages were also conducted in the church during the same period.

Well it seems that according to you the wife was the unbelieving one . . . He came to Nigeria and continued his christian life but got born again along the way and asked his wife to come join him in nigeria which the woman refused. So she left and went on with her life with another man since she doesn't care about the bible principles. I did not see anything like divorce in this case, both parties just merely separated. This was thesame situation Chris Okotie found himself and based on wide consultations, he recently got married too.Many pastors misinterprete the Bible and use it to hold people in bondage.With thesame Bible, some christians would say don,t watch Television, even in the USA, some christians believe owning a car and using anything modern would take you to hell,,,on what basis are these established?
Looking at 1st Cor.7 :15, it would probbaly look as if many pastors skips that aspect of the Bible.A further question is, where has the church been since 2007 when he got married? I would think that the second marriage was also contracted in the church, there4, where is the concept that whatever God joined together let no man put as under.Or isn't God that initiated it?
What does the church want him 2 do now? to divorce his new wife, then persuade his former to also divorce her new husband so she can get back to the initial husband. Lets assume there re kids in btw both marriages, tell me what kind of madness do we wanna call this??

Newcomers to the ongoing convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) may have received a shocker when they realised that they had to pay to use toilets and bathrooms at the Redemption Camp.

To urinate once in some of the toilets costs N10 and to take one’s bath, one has to pay N20. There are some toilets where one has to pay more, depending on their grades.

This situation, however, did not seem to go well with some of the participants who preferred to urinate in the bushes at the camp.

Some were seen taking their bath in a pond at the Redemption Camp.

When P.M.News asked one of the sanitation officials at the camp why people have to pay to use toilets and bathrooms, he simply said that is an order from above.

P.M.News, however, learnt that the money generated from the toilet/bathroom charges is used to buy disinfectant and for the general maintenance of the toilets and bathrooms.

Meanwhile, the church yesterday held a graduation ceremony for those who had successfully completed their studies at the Redeemed Church Bible College.

I have always wondered about the first fruit offering! I pay my tithe but giving away my whole earning for one month is just absurd, how do I survive for that month? I just give a good offering as part of my first fruit.

Even tithes should be given without grudge,,,if ur Heart is not in it then don't do it.I prefer giving 20% of my earnings to the less previledged,widows and orphans than giving my 10% to some Pastors who re simply entertainers and expect money from their fans.If a Christian can build a personal relationship with God, that is all that is most important,,,reverend God in ur heart,,,from a personal experience and exposure whilst in Nigeria,,most pastors in Nigeria re actually not called to be a pastor.The ones that are actually called so to speak, in one way or the other, they seems to have missed it.
Emphasy is no more on salvation and Godliness rather its through buying ur way to Heaven via first fruits offerings,tithes,seed sowing and vows,,,its sad that the those who re meant to be the custodian of God's kingdom have clearly and completely drifted from their responsibilties and they re serving marmoon and the spirit of the last days.One thing that bothers me is that; do they or do they not know what they re doing
