KingAzari:Hmm.... just terrible. |
Good development. But I hope it comes with a dedicated highway or rail line into Lagos and beyond. If they hope to use the existing Lekki corridor then the place will become another Apapa, completely unlivable. |
seunmsg:Hahaha..... very predictable. Here they come. Irresponsible....buck passers... Why not just hand over the government back to them so we can hold them accountable since this government does not take the blame for anything. |
Good one. We should think green energy particularly renewables. With a coastline of more than a thousand kilometres we have enough offshore wind resources to power this country. |
Free things are never viable. Students should pay rent to change this narrative. Thank goodness I've had breakfast. |
eeetuk:There is nothing wrong with his preferences. It does not mean he will seek to impose such a person. My own deduction is that such a person is probably vulnerable within his own constituency, not necessarily whether he has a security detail presently. |
calcal:Only restructuring can cure this impasse whereby every State will have its own Supreme Court... There are certain matters that just do not make sense. The Federal Government should have no business in this. The State Supreme Court should be the final stop on these kinds of issues. If so, will have been settled years ago. The centralisation of power is robbing this nation of many things including development that comes through speedy arbitration. Imagine 10 years. Look at the economic cost of structural injustice. |
Franking:It will soon dawn on all ostriches that restructuring is imperative. Exactly what is the business of the Federal Government with land that ultimately belongs to the State government and concerning private citizens. Unserious country. |
This is very insensitive and offensive and should not be spoken by a clergyman. Any giving that is not out of love is futile and with love there is no coercion in love. Only rreasoning and teaching. And if the whole reason for giving is to establish 'mega churches' then the love of Christ is wasted on the altar of ego. |
LegendHero:Their position is exactly the same as mine which you fail to understand. It is one after the fact. That without restructuring it is impossible for any sort of goverment to move Nigeria forward. And so will not lend itself to half measures. Your so called 60 percent included. I will only support a candidate absolutely comiitted to restructuring and since I have not seen any in the 4th Republic I too have never voted. I am absolutely persuaded that with the present structure Nigerians are just wasting their time and wasting away their destinies. |
..... because of Railway to El-Dorado.... chai.. |
On any data quest one will always be a year older than the other. Schools, driving licenses at adulthood and every annual application will drive a year long wedge between them. Weird..... ![]() |
Nations do not target legitimate leaders of other nations. It is a creed if broken will open the gates of hell. This is a situation of digging two graves before going for revenge. |
joeking2222:Come to Abuja there are hundreds of serving and retired generals and senior police and security officers in various estates around. They identify themselves and know the importance of obeying the rules. Maybe strange in Lagos but in Abuja rank pulling is inconsequential. Make a sore mistake and your beloved rank and career will be in jeopardy. |
richmond500:Because it is only the Presidency that can do something about it but they won't. How many civil servants can you sack? Can you prosecute any corrptuion case as an individual citizen? Can you sue any government official for graft as an individual? No. But you elect people who can and will certainly blame them if they do not. Simple. That is the way democracy works. |
backbencher:That is why you appoint the best hands irrespective of where they come from. But when you go down the road of nepotism, appointing clanishly family and friends then you must personally 'micro manage' them because no one will be able to do that. The appointees will certainly not listen to anyone else except their patron. If you have ever been in a position of authority you will realise exactly that. When the structure of an organisation is compromised there are consequences. The government is simply suffering from its inability to control 'family and friends' top to bottom. Good leadership seeking enduring legacies know how to strike a balance between loyalty and accountability. Whole empires have risen and fallen on this wisdom. |
The mystery of multiplication and increase In the kingdom of God comes via sharing and sacrificing. For God so loved... that he GAVE. Jesus so loved his sheep that He GAVE. You only need to read a few lines to see a church that operates like an association. Surely it is bound to decline when the members are only concerned about themselves and their wellbeing. But the previous Gift of Jesus was meant to the world. Remember those who hid their Light under a buschel.... Share as much of the precious gift and the world will not have enough. And you will never lack any good thing. The world is hungry and thirsty for life. Jesus is the Life. |
Thank goodness he did not destroy those electrical installations. That has been the complaint all over Abuja over this yuletide. Power cuts due to drunk, careless drivers ploughing into poles and transformers. |
Vinnie2000:I didn't see any poor officiating today that changed the outcome of the match. A shirt tug in the box is an infringement. The scuffing of the pen spot as well by Gabriel. Ramsdale was lucky his wasn't seen. These are all juvenile acts that big players do not commit in big games. |
akezn:You just wonder how long it will take Arteta and his coaching team to see the damage that guy is causing that team. Season after season he continues to cost valuable points with totally mindless, reckless plays. He should take a leaf from Thomas Partey, another hard man in that middle but has managed to culture his game to the demands of the Premiership and the deep scrutiny of referees. He was supposed to be sold to Roma last summer. I think he should be given out for free. |
Reference:...Do not have the mental acumen to see it through, shooting themselves in the foot by the stupid cards, sending off and as usual a certain Granit who will always lend a hand to the opponents. Xhaka should take his place soon with Leno and Pepe in the Gunners bin box. |
Best I've seen the Gunners play for a long, long while. Simply on top in every department of the game. City totally outclassed, but..... |
greenie77:Because it is free. Why not. |
descartes400:An electric car is an electric car. Alternator means an engine and those are called hybrids, except if you are suggesting a windmill, which will just be a hahaha. But once again, energy is energy. The management of stored energy is what has failed here not the type of energy after all a full tank of gasoline has a potential chemical energy equivalent to about 65 kilowatt hours, similar to the battery charge in most electric automobiles. If you keep your gasoline engine running, sooner or later you will need a tow or a can and an okada or a tio... ![]() |
FarahAideed:But I just do not get this. If you were trapped in a 10 year traffic jam driving an ICE, won't you do energy management to ensure you get out of there. Will you sit down and keep running your engine. Traffic is no excuse if not the highway will be littered with spent vehicles. Folks just turn their engines off and wait for movement. The beauty of electric engines is that energy management is far more efficient than with ICE's and this should equalise the experience in the long term. Why do you think modern ICE's have adopted auto start/stop technologies. His experience all boils down to human error. To run out of anything has nothing to do with technology. |
Mrkumareze:No sir. The onboard computer will tell him what he can and can't do. No excuse. Same person will run out of gasoline if he drives an ICE. Energy is energy. Manage it wisely. |
How will the recurrent expenditure not be spiraling out of control. How will we ever get over the mountain of debts when at the most perilous of economic times non elected public servants are busy wasting resources on frivolities. Their contemporaries in other climes that work harder and perform far better in office fly commercial. Tomorrow some repository of idiocy will tell us how small the tax net is and why VAT should be 100% to afford government more revenue.... for freaking what!!! Just days ago Uche Nwosu was hounded to Abuja in a private jet only to be released almost immediately without charge costing the taxpayer hundreds of thousands..... for what!!! |
Where are the lovers of the status quo ante.... Over to you guys. |
.... LOANS.... for Railways to El-Dorado.... |
kenzysmith:Hahaha.... and Rafa Benitez was called a cook..... |
Mynd44:Product of a failed endSARS movement by the champions of the status quo ante. We warned that the corrupt police will come back even worse from an incomplete dose of social medication aka civil protest. When Nigerians are traumatised enough to overcome their sentiment then they will gather together once more to demand for a better life. In the meantime enjoy your police. |
Only if Nigeria was a success story. For how long do you want a people to believe in an association they gain practically nothing from but continues to decay year after year when they can see better associations around them and when they feel they can be masters of their own destinies and do a better job on their own. The quest for delamination is the only proof needed that the present structure is defective and is fast becoming unsuitable for human habitation. After all who will not want to be associated with success. If Nigeria is.... and could be successful, this sad tale in our history will be forgotten. |
