That dude is brutal, if i tell you wetin that guy take my eye see for kpako bus stop for unilag sha That is what the whole protest was all about. To put and end to institutionalised savagery and take the police service into the 21st century. Unfortunately a big group of citizens who should desire this ideal are firmly in support of maintaining the status-quo by calling to question the sad role of the police and military in quashing the ENDSARS protest violently. To succeed in that will only embolden institutional malpractice and many including the deniers, hailers and ideologues will certainly become victims. Remember this. When (not if) you fall victim to a wayward man or group of men in uniform. Kindly tell them you were vocal in support of their actions pre and post 'ENDSARS' and let us see if that will buy you safe passage. As Abraham Lincoln famously said and I quote: 'When you familiarise yourselves with the chains of bondage, you prepare your own limbs to wear them...'. It will reach everyone. That is a certainty. Every society that is progressive, prosperous and powerful today had at its roots a citizenry ready to fight for their liberty. |

This country if care is not taken is on the brink of collapse. If you increase price of PMS to #300+, most people and families won't be able to feed, transport costs will increase exponentially yet minimum wage and salaries are not increasing. Isn't that disaster looming? Na... The only thing it may cause is erode the crippling sentiment in electing leadership of this country.... which is a good thing as a matter of fact. I have come to the point that the only thing that can save this country is widespread horrendous sufferings. Perhaps life after hell will be calm. |

Athletes having sex before a game is a very wrong thing to do. In case anyone need a content writer, kindly check my signature. What are you saying. Is it not the responsibility of the gaffer to lay down the law and enforce it. What it proves indeed is that they have no respect or fear of the coach and this reflects in the way they play aimlessly on the field with little evidence of enforceable team tactics. If he is too quiet or too weak then he should go. Nigerians are generally not known for discipline so we need a strong willed, vocal person in charge. |

They hire according to what they can afford or do you want them to go for a Man U like coach? So what is the criteria by which this 'cheapskate' is to be engaged. In other climes the process of such selection will go through rigorous debate across the broad spectrum of stakeholders and the wider public. Here they love their secrecy because they love their corruption. Unfortunately we live in a society where citizens are just too weak and divided to realise and demand better governance and football administration is symptomatic of this. |

'Make amends' is the language of dictatorship and not one of democratic leadership where the top seeks to satisfy the yearnings of the people by bending backwards to accommodate for the sake of peace and solidarity. Leadership is supposed to show maturity and rise above pecuniary interests and sentiment.
A father does not wait for the children to speak or act to bring the family to levels of stability, peace and prosperity. He acts because he is responsible and at the end of the day the family bears his name and the outcome of him actions will bring him alone praise or criticism.
We are yet to get proper, co mpetent leadership in Nigeria because as a people we do not seek such people to empower into government. That is why year after year, administration after administration every facet of life and living in Nigeria deteriorates.
I am sorry but the black man just does not know how to organise himself into viable societies. |

When the same staffs were hoarding train tickets and selling at Black markets, they never knew their benefits are not paid, but when they have no ways of shortchanging the gov't and the masses, they remembered their welfare.
Government itself doesn't care about the welfare and living standards of the citizenry talk more of it's own workforce.

Some months ago, we were discussing here on how those in the glasshouse seemingly benefit from some of these foreign coaches.
I don't trust that Pinnick & his people @ allllll. True, but isn't it sensible that when good results follow, that the benefits are even greater. The other day the reprobates in that glass house had the audacity to tell that they were essentially broke. But who in his sane mind will put his hard earned money into a Federation or a team that is this poor. The sports business is a results business through and through and when performances are poor everything from gate takings to sponsorship fails. So they better realise that if their benefits (both legal and illegal) are to be realised they better start performing. If we fail to qualify and exit both Nations Cup and World Cup ignobly then it is curtains for them. I mean they are finished totally. |

You could see how Kelechi was so nonchalant the last match he came in as sub. He will never try that in Leicester or for Rogers. It is all down to coaching and the ineffectual impression Rohr is reflecting. A good manager brings his players to 100 percent of their capacity and then stretches them to 110 percent when the chips are down but with the exception of Osimen who tried out of his skin both matches, the others were lame and appeared disinterested. Look at the choice of Ighalo.... so annoying. The boy couldn't run, couldn't jump for headers, couldn't track back at turnovers.... so what the hell was all the hot air about his recall. Didn't they see in training he was just not up to it. This just exposed Rohr as a gambler who is swept up in sentiment and has capitulated to the Nigeria penchant for mediocrity, clutching at straws for survival. He has no idea how to better this team folks. We better cut him loose. March is far enough. We can sacrifice the Nations Cup to sort out and test a better gaffer but World Cup for us fans and for them serious career footballers is a MUST. And in our present form I simply cannot see us beating those notorious North Africans or Senegal or even Cameroun to the ticket. |

The gas finished yesterday. I told my wife that yesterday that I will buy the gas today because I needed to get to work and somehow raise money to augment what I have to be able to buy the gas. I told her to use the kerosene stove that yesterday and this morning. Guess her reply? She said she can't use kerosene even for a day. That even her Mum in the village does not use kerosene stove. She said a few other unprintable things. For the sake of my 3 children I still had to buy the gas today.
I had not eaten in my house for a month now. The reason is that she said that they money I gave her for upkeep in October was not enough (I give her 62.5% of my monthly salary every month for our home upkeep). As a result she refused to give me food from around the middle of the month when she said the money had finished. She cooked for herself and the children (possibly from her own salary). When I gave her upkeep money for this month I told her not bother keeping food for me so that the money will go far enough. That's where we are till now. I have no intention of ever eating her food until she acknowledges that she was wrong and apologizes.
Now I know this WON'T happen. She will rather die than admit she's wrong or apologize. This is why I know that the mistake of a marriage is heading for the rocks and I am ready for it. Nonsense and ingredients. I have endured this nonsense for 15 years. I am done. Anything whe won happen tomorrow, make e happen today. Elections do have serious consequences anywhere in the world. Do away with sentiment.... No. Nigerians do love their chains. Enjoy. |
