Jiang:To who. Who are the contenders there. I'm not familiar with Bauchi politics. |
BBTEE:Learning of course. We start immediately after the first birthday. You will be surprised what they can do by 4 years of age. |
And Hayatou was CAF President for like a gazillion years and still couldn't lift the game in his home country.... Political power is definitely over rated. Doesn't do jack. |
Nukilia:Nobody should kill himself or herself on account of bad leadership except if the individual desires to be a matyr for a cause. It may interest you to notethat this so called bad leadership did not come from Mars or Neptune. They come from within us. Born and bredin Nigeria some many years before us, some our contemporaries, others younger. What enables them malfunction in tje corridors of power is exactly the same thing that killed off that family.... the inability to know, understand and appreciate what life is all about. I can guarantee you that if you brought the best set of leaders anywhere in the world and put them in the Nigerian set up, within a short period of time, they too will malfunction. Read ny posts very well and you will hear me repeatedly say this: Nigerians generally donot have the adequate knowledge to form the quality of society they do often desire. Ask me tomorrow, next year, in ten years whether anyone has learnt anything from this incident. Chances are that few will even remember it. E |
kareemkamil:When your peers are busy developing the next I-Phone you sit there manufacturing the latest I-Blame for fellow lazy bones to buy into. Sit there and blame a non living entity for the pit people live in instead of finding solutions. You think citizens of successful nations conduct themselves like this. |
Nukilia:You say 'don't blame those who lose their lives ignorantly'... Are you alright at all. So because political leadership cannot take care of me, I should then comit suicide. Is it not the living that can changed things. Now she's dead, what will change. Even her pension will be stolen because her family is esentially wiped out the face of the earth. |
Ignorance is a killer. It permits you the privileges of enjoying technology without appreciating the responsibility of understanding how they function. For goodnes sake how can a police sergeant, a Federal law enforcement officer not know how to safely operate a device as basic as a portable power generating set. It is written clearly on the first page of the manual and inscribed on the body of most brands. DONOT OPERATE INDOORS!!! Simple. And if you cannot read, our dear Chinese brothers represent it pictorially. |
Then Toyota must be ready for us with hundreds of vehicles as we regularly crawl through caverns, gorges and craters, swim through acidic swamps from putrid overflowing gutters and subject our prized Toyotas to red hot, hellish traffic jams. Dear Toyota, believe me what that truck passed through is a picnic cimpared go what we see day in, day out. We are the living proof of your vehicles. Please we need a ship load of replacements and worldwide recognition and thanks. Our own humanoid wildfires no be here oh. We are daily roasted black like overdone suya. That burnt Tundra you praise is just a paint job to us. |
gurunlocker:You people should stop this thing oh. I almost typed 'gandollar' to log into my matrix. Serious wahala avoided. I need to close now. Fagged out. |
Good idea. Criminals should not have access to the proceeds of their crimes. Bad implementation. It should be done legally. In normal societies it is at the instance of the Judiciary. Mr. President and other actors and proponents are leaving themselves open to litigation if and when they leave office and the Judiciary will not be there for them. |
EddyTeddy:In those days Arsenal will be two - nil down by now and Mr Wenger will be struggling with his coat zip ... sure miss those days.... but don't we all think Arsenal is becoming a bit boring... The present gaffer comes across as... too mechanised. The way the club is heading they may end up like Chelsea.... winning alright but a club without a soul... |
MexxIT:....hmmm so Miki cannot even make this make shift team.... says a lot... but he should be livid. |
Private universities are the future of Nigeria's educational system. If you disagree please wear a condom after 2 kids. I simply cannot see any Nigerian government spending 25 percent of its budget on education under this structure... Sorry if I'm misunderstood. I mean 25 percent will bring the quality of all government institutions anywhere near the levels we see the top private universities operating. |
Ade3000yrs:They say they donot have the basic tools a combat infantry support system should have and you are talking about robots. Are you serious at all. The fact that some units have been in the theatre for upwards of four years.... FOUR YEARS should alarm any one. There is something very wrong that we are not privy to. |
If the armed forces are not able to contain what may be looking like a multinational insurgent force then the Federal Government should begin serious studies on the legalization of fire arms in Nigeria. If there is one thing no nation on earth has ever contemplated and never will, is the invasion on mainland United States of America. For one thing amd one thing alone. The Constitutional right to bear arms. Then you have a potential pseudo military reserve of another 100 million people including direct resources in the event their military is overwhelmed. Nigeria needs to restructure to gel society properly along patriotic nationalistic lines if we are to survive long term as a nation. It is clear that our fractious nation has let in external elements willing and ready to cleave her apart. We must remember that when a man's immune syatem is weakened it doesn't take suoer bugs to lay him down permanently. The success of these insurgents is a clear indicator of just how weak the Nigerian state is. We are being found out most embarrassingly. Someone was saying on a radio station in Umuahia today in responding to General Buratai's latest assertion, saying 'if we cannot handle what was purely an internal security problem what happens if our armed forces were to be at war with other NATIONS'.... that have better organisation and a lot more resources.... Let us admit that at this point in our history we are indeed very weak and seriously vulnerable now. We need to start thinking outside the box when we have no other aggressions against us. |
...Africans and primitivism.... chai. Imagine this appearingat the Capitol Building in DC....folks will be wondering if the owner went into a coma just before Halloween.... |
Yeah, constipation. Very common in infants. Get him/her relief. Very unpleasant. In those days they'd give you a shot of cod liver oil.... yuck |
obonujoker:Hmmm... a mystery of strange proportions. How so called educated folks find themselves in this mess. |
brudiga: ... You have been given all the clues. You go night school abi you no do quantitative reasoning eh.... South East get five states. First 3 letters of alphabet na A, B, C...south east no get B and C so na A. Two states Abia and Anambra. Two of them Guvos dey dress native one na proudly Ngwa.... sorry 'proudly Abia' the oda na 'proudly...hmm (I reserve my comment). The key na the predecessors. One na TA Orji and Ochendu no get wahala with Doc. The oda na Gov Willy and plenty kasala dey with Mr. Vice Presido Obi..Fair skin girls...? I no sabi woman oh.... shayo....hmm de guy eye dey always shine like traffic light for night.... |
You can see what political crticism can do. Mr. President was supposed to be on leave and will have gone if not for the barrage of interests in this unfortunate matter by opposing political blocks. Now does he look more Presidential or not? Does he look more emphatic or not. Will the troops have their morale lifted or not for the betterment of the security situation of the nation. Is this not the product of a functional, workingdemocracy ornot. So when ignorants use blanket statements like, 'stop politicising the confflict' when they really mean, 'donot criticise the poor leadership qualities if our principal', they should realise that we all lose if such persists and leadership itself is undermined. So we can see in a snapshot first the importance of political dynamism where power is checked by equilibrium. We can see theimportance of having issue based campaigns that address the real issues affecting Nigerians. So we can see why it is important not to shut up and shut down civil dissent. Now we can see why a desire for a one party autocracy is a death bed idea. This is how nations develop. Incumbents take the challenge of civil critism to up their game and improve governance. Hurricane Katrinabrought out the worst of George Bush II and he got a lot of stick for it, from even his own party men. He did not hide behind the veil of national disaster and threaten his critics as politicising the event and undermining a national institution in FEMA the way folks say the military is being undermined. (AS THERE IS JUST NO WAY TO DISCOURAGE A TRUE PROFESSIONAL BY CRITICISM OR UNDERMINE AN INSTITUTION BY FACTS). By the time Hurricane Rita came a while later President Bush was more prepared, the response was better, more lives were saved and the nation was better for it. If it will take public to point out things so be it. No one likes being criticised. This is understandable. But when you put yourself forward as a democratic leader you automatically sign up to an improvement program that will either build your competence or break your soul. Mr President and his men had better decide which.... |
Nice. Now sustain and improve upon it. Let our youth use their idle time better. |
If any of our people here have half that number in herd they will have occupied all the farmland in the middle belt and probably slaughtered thousands in the process. Letsgiveitto Africans. We are primitive and need serious enlightenment period. Anyone who is comfortable with the way we presently exist needs serious psycho medical help. |
He knows but political expediency demands otherwise. |
SolutionMee:Ask me. I should have bought 105mm HE artillery shells that go for $1,500 a pop with my wonderful monthly salary of N438.50 back in the day. Though the dollar was round about N1.20 it will take the monthly wages of four guys to launch one round and hope it counts. |
Ranchhoddas:Oga. William Gates will be livid incurring a fine of that magnitude. And for your information how you spend your money is a serious indication of your IQ. Brilliant people donot waste theirs on needless and unecessary fines when the source of the income is from a limited, depreciating asset. Waste not, want not is a universal principle if the individual will not end up broke, involved in crime or some other demeaning endeavour. |
Ranchhoddas:Don't worry in twenty years this kind of lifestyle will be lookrs back at with certain regret. When the earnings and sponsorships are a forgotten, distant memory. He is not the first to smile at youthful exuberance. |
Soldiers fleeing insurgents, police fleeing robbers, 'engineers' fleeing collapsing buildings... doctos fleeing feverish patients....aooears service delivery has gone to the bugs... sorry dogs |
Not interested. Have written Osun state off for the forseeable future. To reelect a party that totalled the local economy is a political sin for which the people deserve no sympathy. Wish them the very best. |
Only when we restructure. |
We know you will miss it. We knew since you said it. I think you will stop wasting our time and contact Jay Leno. He is good at restoring antique machines and will probably appreciate the comedic side of your efforts.... Next!!!.... |
mhizsuzzy:So because he chooses a white or fair lady all ladies should rush into skin coloring like a herd of sheep. I am at a loss at exactly what is behind or driving the body enhancement movement. Is it in tracking the desires of a certain section of men because when you ask the average lady she will oft deny that the torture and sacrifice is at the pleasure of the opposite sex saying that its all a personal choice and preference aka looking good.. .. but here we are... its all about the men women love to hate. And here a man says its not worth the risk and expense.... and the victims are at his throat.... you ladies are simply impossible. |
