The DSS%s role in this I cannot understand. Is there a threat to national security? I doubt that but more worryimg is the 'Ghost Protocol" adopted by the EFCC and where is the police and its colorful IG. Seems he has left the stage. Not a word since his 'transmitter" was shut down. Perhaps they once believed in the integrity thing but over time they have weighed the facts and considered that you simply cannot cry enough at a funeral to enter the casket with the deceased. |
You offered no tips whatsoever. Not that it matters, I'm done with used cars, like a decade ago. I want to wake up in the morning with my work in mind, not my car. And I want to get in and go at a moments notice. |
Lotechi:Was the leading news channel. They are going the way of FOX News and losing objectivity. They are supposed to be a global network but 16 out of 24 hours a day it is Trump, Trump, Trump. Other networks are quietly filling the gaps. |
That whote guy with the hard hat is PDP too?....bunch of unprincipled fellows. You cannot manage a simple and consistent ideology and yet you wish to manage the affairs of a complex society such as Nigeria's...serial underachievers... ppssst.. |
wealth123:Oga, it is the same way APC came to power. |
Alzirida:Na...he doesn't have to answer and he will completely ignore him. I think CNN is become too partisan and they will lose out in the long run. They have more at stake than a 'here today, gone tomorrow' political office holder. |
Trump will wish he had the DSS.. .. "who be dat judge, walahi...." ![]() |
Magalan: ... abeg by 2019 everyone will be demystified.... it was all about power... everything else is not important. |
Next thing one tired madam will hang her overloaded handbag on the set of pitot tubes, the plane takes off and the bent device tells the speed sensors that the aircraft is critically slow and the autopilot immediately pitches the nose down and slams open the throttle taking the engines to full power....thirty seconds later....kaboom.... the next day Richard Quest is here on behalf of CNN..... "BREAKING NEWS".... mbok get those passengers far away from that aircraft.... |
Sagay212:I think it has to do with that foreign loan he wants to take which the three senators opposed. With them out of the way 2 million dollars sounds like a bargain. |
Notice those trees around them and the lawn. Before doing anything else why not just cut them down and rip up the lawn that is a ready fuel for the inferno. Abi dia sense no reach?. |
The over sexualisation of society is turning men to animals. Where did he learn this kind of bestial behaviour. Certainly his parents could not have done this evil, shameful behaviour. |
Kai Lagos.... can't.... just can't abeg. |
Corruption can never end.... and by 2019 everyone will be demystified. |
The car is probably CKD by now and may never be found. I think public places should step up their security protocols if they want patronage. Vehicular theft is on a steep rise despite the nifty gadgets out there these days. If you must go shopping, to the salon or some other joint that does not have responsible security do take someone along with with you to mind the car if you do not have a driver or park within line of sight as I often do. |
When we say restructure, you say no need.... enjoy. |
In 2014 even the worst skeptics will not have imagined that in 2018 Nigeria will still be locked in this viscious cycle of corruption and maladministration... folks, change the game, not the players. Elections are becoming pointless in this country |
We've not heard from Yahaya Bello for a while now. Appears he too has run foul of the Oshiomhole juggernaut. The middle-belt is quaking. |
Fabulous7:It is being celebrated because all previous administrations totally and ignorantly failed to develop this sectpr foolishly wadting money on perishable assets such as roads to the detriment of a better, cheaper and more effective means of transportation. It is worth celebrating. To see how blind administrators can be to the 300 pound gorilla in their midst it is even happening today. The Wike government has totally abandoned the monorail project initiated by the past Rivers State government. Even the Lagos state intracity rail network is in the cooler while the presnt government wastes money constructing flyovers and expanding carraigeways, to accomodate more traffic that should ordinarily be carried by rail when it is obvious roads need drains and street lights making them expensive to construct and maintain. The waste that is the endless reconstruction of the Apapa accesses could have been unecessary if rail lines were present and mandatory for cargo leaving the ports. You have to celebrate when hitherto wasteful ventures are being shelved for more effective and prudent use of scarce resources. Roads are big waste of resources. They may provide quick transportation fixes but are long term money pits. More roads, more maintainace down the line. In the Niger Delta at least it should be a no brainer. We shoukd have a deliberate government policy of winding down the expansion of the national road network in favour of rail transportation, That is, no more dualisations of major highways and only strategic penetration into areas not covered by the network. |
Good job to complete that line but Itakpe to Warri....for what purpose. It was supposed to link up the Steel Mill with the coast. Neither ends have any economic or strategic significance for now so... I really cannot see the point. Money should have been spent elsewhere.... except if it is part of packaging the Ajaokuta Steel Plant for sale. |
People should be allowed to wear whatsoever they like to school abeg. Uniforms are not worn in the States. Doesn't appear to affect the purpose of the school in the first place. |
Of course no one no one lives in a brothel though the couple share lots of things. |
The things that are most important are not seen. I will go for a beautiful mind anyday. Those that donot focus on their bodies most likely invest their time and treasure on things that matter. From the comments all around it most certainly must be that she is loaded upstairs. And those who mock may not even be able to stand where she sits. |
GavelSlam:Not against arming airport security but the level of operational competency must be higher, far, far higher than what we are familiar with. The newest agency to bear arms is the NSCDC. Within a few months they had recorded a major incident of unlawful killing (it was reported on this forum). I repeat if such happens in an airport premises the consequences could be catastrophic. A 7.62mm rifle round has a kill range of 600 yards and inside 100 yards it will penetrate the skin of an aircraft easily. Outside MMIA our airportsare not particularly expansive. A rifle accidentally discharged for instance in the carpark or cargo area can find its way to places that will make you shudder. We should proceed with caution, that's all. |
Please, small calibre weapons preferrably side arms only and certainly not the infamous assault rifles we hopelessly and tragically have a penchant for.... and the reasons are simple. Most airports anywhere in the world are crowded and potential shootouts of any kind will have catastrophic collateral damage. Secondly, these days courtesy of modern designs aprons are closer to the terminal buildings with aircraft just a few feet away. That is tons and tons of highly flammable aviation fuel awaiting an accidental discharge that could kill hundreds, wipe out the airport and destroy equipment worth billions in one fell swoop..... or just as bad... a passenger aircraft taking off with a hitherto undetected bullet hole... This is a completely different, far higher level of risk. Government has to be extra sure about this decision and make sure the right personnel is deployed with the right training and the right equipment. My two cents. |
I have no pity whatsoever. The owners of Nigeria created this. They should stew in it. Said enough. We absolutely love poverty. |
Yeah I got the message.... and indeed its sad. |
mushystuff:The average Nigerian cannot see the difference between politics and governance, between the activites of getting elected and the responsibilities of administering service. Forgive them for they have made a mess of themselves and the state of the nation. Kudos to the Rep member who could see through the haze amd is making this inquest despite his party affiliations. |
Without restructuring corruption CAN NEVER END. |
peckhamboi:Really sad... sigh....anyway by 2019 everyone will be demystified.... |
Honestly it is a big shame. I'm certain that three and a half years ago, no one will have expected to see a day like this... even the mighty anti-corruptor can descend to such depths.... anyway I've been saying this time and again.... that corruption is not the problem of Nigeria because everyone does it, everyone supports it as long as their interests are covered. Now, what will the campaign be about since the war against graft has ended with a whimper. |
