50,000. ... yet another proof of the greed of Nigerians. You employ someone this dull and place assets worth millions within his reach. There is a reason he became a 'house boy'. Like someone said a while ago. When the meal you eat at dinner is worth more than the wage of your cook, a sad case of poisoning is surely at hand. |
GEJ blues.... reminiscent of the years before the 'change' that has proven to be just the same ol, same ol. But if the CBN (and the erstwhile gullible citizens who once castigated the Jonathan years) think politicians without philosphies will ever save then their egg heads need to be examined. Politicians exist to spend to protect their offices, seats and benches and here in Africa you have the additional incentive of stealing with impunity. The gullible folks will also look for roads, water, schools, rice, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, school fees and 'burial money'... all at the expense of their economy instead of the more important tasks of wealth creation, decentralization of opportunity, institution building, diversification of the economy, things that can only happen on the foundation of a frugal, accountable government . The black man and indeed Nigerian cannot understand that a nation's wealth can only be established when the people out spend the government the elect thus tilti g economic power in their favour. We don't expect this government to save nada, elections are coming. The ignorant Nigerian will Esau out his destiny for the next decade and the politicians will gladly dole out the peanuts while keep the main course for themselves. |
See all of them. They like good things, but ask them to restructure to get there, and they say no and go back to their pet projects of racism and bigotry. Both of which are deadweights to progress and critical thinking. Look at the space it takes up on a simple forum like Nairaland thoughtless of the way it ravages the wider society. Nigeria this way can NEVER be like the pictures you see. Only with your eyes will you see it, your tongue will never taste it until you all change the way you think. |
Make all of una siddon one place abegii! Prostitute politicians EVERYWHERE. Only Sai Baba we know!
He too moved from the CPC to the APC when it was clear he couldn't win there. They are all the same. Its just about power to enable corruption. |
The way things are now, the APC as it is presently constituted must win the coming general polls by all means... because if it does not, the backlash will be better imagined. I forsee a situation where most of the leadership will have to go into exile. Honestly the PDP were learners when it comes to dirty politics. |
Apparently, tthe riling APC has learnt scant little from the tsunami that swept the then 'largest party in Africa'. As a matter of fact they have even built on the beach, towers with foundations in the sands. |
I find this all too wrong. I simply cannot understand why court orders are not obeyed and impunity continues to reign. If we donot support our institutions we will continue to be subject to the regressive limitations of a few and not the progressive wisdom of many. A lot of folks here say, because the man in question, Pinnick is 'performing' so the vacationing of the order if the apex court is welcome. But once again we have set up and elevated individuals against institutions. What if tomorrow the same Pinnick having viewed himself indispensable begins to 'underperform', who will we blame. Then how do you remove him. Does he now appear like someone willing to steo down if he loses the next elections. Will he not bring the DSS to truncate again. I understand the non interference statutes of FIFA and quite frankly it will have paid us wellifwe had taken any punishment including a ban if it would make us sit up and restructure the soccer space bit this action has only kicked the can further down the road and left us with no lessons to learn. This continues to be the bane of Nigeria's and Africa's development. If things worked properly in this country and the rule of law was upheld, you and I could aspire to any office and do far better than those we sit and watch mess up themselves and the nation. |
If the Nigerian (black) girl goes down this route she will lose focus and will not do well in the purpose she is there in the first place. This should never have become public. We all recieve all sorts of messages, contacts and communication that are not appropriate from time to time but it doesn't stop us from moving forward. |
davidoisamoje:That is the same fate that awaits 'Nigeria Air' or whatever it is called. Just wasted your time and money. Government has no business in business. |
Torrential. Only God can keep this woman alive after this devastating tsunami. |
litaninja:Not true. A heavier weapon is actually more accurate depending on how it is handled. When I started practice with a G3 (which is a lot heavier than an AK composite), I used a half mag but later found out that a full mag priduced less kick when you let of the first couple of shots. Like I said the AK is lighter so a heavier mag may balance the weapon more. I certainly prefer that. The loading is another matter entirely. Our armed forces on civilian territory donot use kit belts, neither does the police for whatever reason so the question is, where will they store extra ammo for prolonged fire fights? |
OhiOfIhima:But we did not complain when a sitting Minister and ex-governor contested and won the elections in Ekiti just last week. What this shows is that elections are and should be about who is in power and how they and their party have handled matters So if the people of Ekiti could show maturity in voting out an underperforming incumbent PDP the people of Osun should equally vote out the APC to shake up things and bring the much needed change because every iota of failure in governance in EKiti over the Fayose dispensation has played out over the Aregbesola government. So if Adeleke is an underwhelming choice what willl you call Fayemi. Democracy is about flexing political power and the threat of change is what delivers dividends. If the Osun people vore in the APC again then it means the west is about sentiment and not development. |
yjgm:Praise for what. When developing countries are seeking less government these prehistoric ones want even bigger government to continue their legacy of rent seeking. What is the business of government in business. Countries with better records of accountability have handed over their state run airlines tothe private sector from BA to KLM to Lufthansa. Even egalitarian France is dumping Air France bit by bit on the private sector. Just create a conducive environment and the airline industry will thrive wirhout government money. Transportation is directly related to the state of a country's economy. If the economy expands air travel will prosper naturally. This government has proven time and again it will rather throw scare resources away just like the previous one all in a bid to build castles in the air. Reasonable folks know the project is dead on arrival and will only dig a massive hole in our public finances before they conceded this ill advised journey. |
Typical African. Yes, God is Inspiration but He will not meet you cat napping. Lazy boy. |
That is how he was brought up. They will say, 'leave him, he is only a child'. Others will say, it is poverty that caused it, if only the mother could afford to 'spoil him.... even a little'. Yet others will blame society.... But who here is the victim...that should have done the job when the man was a child. |
Picturesque. |
Benblaq:Have never seen one physically. Don't move in those circles. But I can see the practical use of this one if it can be remotely controlled. |
Pointless article. Like saying the sun at noon is hot... of course it is....everyone knows that and everyone knows that shopping in transit is inflation personified whether in the airport, on a train or the typical Nigerian highway markets. And much so because when you have ready cash and no time to haggle you are bound to splash.... |
Unfortunately the article did not address the subject matter, how they were killed. As usual it goes on and on about what they did typically to whip up sentiments. The good side is that it satisfies our sentimental lust for vengeance. The bad thing is that as usual we are not the wiser about these people, what makes them and how they operate and this critical lack of knowledge is what puts criminals a step ahead of law enforcement constantly because you can only master what your diligently study. There is a reason for investigstive policing no matter how vile a criminal is. Let this not be lost on our society. We are not winning the war against crime. |
Hiring of speedboats....half a billion....HIRING.....HIRING |
... maintenance vehicles for 20 days....407million.... |
Corruption CAN NEVER END. See what a whole Mr. President is presenting....settlement for the boys.... |
Then any member of this present government should be prepared for unlimited detention because I cannot see what he did that is not happening now. What goes around will surely come around and will affect everyone from the silent to the complicit. Impunity is a viscious cycle and that is why developed and progressive nations rather operate by the rule of law. |
adesina746:Sincerely hope you donot get it. Stay in your country and make it a Sweden. |
NMA v JOHESU blues... |
sarrki:Yet when other want devolution of power you resist. You are just a racist. Anyway I don't take your likes serious in any form. |
EmekaBlue:.....and transfer the traffic jam to the air abi.....why not just cut down in your unproductive overpopulated state. |
Too tired to 'opinionate' in detail but my views in the airline industry is well known. |
Shortyy:And after that what....nothing but depression when it all begins to fade away. Only fools invest in depreciating assets. Why not flaunt what will enable mankind live better as the purpose of your existence. ....rubbish.. |
madridguy:So sad because this is not just a question of federal character but one of pure, un-adulterated racism. The hole of discord this government is digging will become impossible to climb out of. This is an absolute green-light to the next administration to ignore folks from the the geographical area of the present administrators. |
Holocene:Like Iheanacho abi. Mbok, trees grow from root to leaves not from branch to root if you wamt yo be an Iroko and not waterleaf. |
