You and and your organisation are discredited. Abeg just.... go away please. |
Vote this, vote that, everyone is talking about who to empower with their mandate. No one is taking thought about how they will extract solid commitments leading to expected dividends. Nigerians are just so ignorant and you folks are just a waste of time. |
MURIC is taking the same route as CAN did during the Jonathan years. Only restructuring can steer the ship of state from the rocks and icy storms of religious divisions. |
I understand. Marcelo is too maverick for the new coach who is known to play tighter and more controlled tactics than Real's immediate past managers. On balance its a double edged sword. Marcelo gone means less goals conceded but for the life of me, who won't miss those enterprising forward runs and exceptional ball juggling skills of one of the most entertaining left backs of all time. |
Yesterday it was oil pollution in the Delta and some were saying how come with all the derivation. Niger state has beem seeing free money since independence yet this. I tell you. Only restructuring can save Nigeria. Resources without a structure of accountability can never guarantee suatainable development. No man on earth who receives anything free will ever value or optimise it. Three years of the 'most accountable', 'incorruptible government' ever abi... yet basic life remains worse. If the people of that locality were directly responsible for that road, it will certainly not look like that. They will either seek the resources to fix it themselves or learn to live with the consequence hence it will not be news. Japan is a tiny island of mostly hills, mountains and swamps. No natural resources whatsoever, subject to constant volcanic activity, eathquakes and tsunamis. Yet they manage to exist and put themselves as the third biggest economy in the world with a population the size of two Nigerian states and having experienced a world war and two nuclear attacks. What is our problem in Nigeria. Our best brain in government says 'better management of resources'.... can you imagine.... |
Can they confidently tell us what the distinguished Senator has done for them all these years in sincerity then weigh it on the back drop that no one else can do better. Are the good people of Enugu West getting full value for their politcal capital or are they like the rest of Nigeria just throwing away their priceless mandates or exchanging them for crumbs from the master's table. In the next four years can they vouch that they will be better off to the extent of the extant powers of him they empower. |
We know that all you stood for as Attorney General have now collapsed under the weight of political correctness, expediency and conformity so all you accuse Atiku of doing and denying in the past is exactly what you are doing and denying now, that is. So both of you are just unprincipled opportunists. So by inference none of you will bring the much expected change. This does not surprise me because no politician in the world will ever fulfil any promises except he or she is compelled to by threat of removal at the polls. Unfortunately it is you Mr. Veep that is in power and has more to lose and if the electorate was just a wee bit sensible as againat being totally sentimental you will not be so confident to say such sad things. You are just unprincipled Mister. |
MoshoodOkunola:Oga, what he is giving them is a bribe. In Nigeria what is the difference between social intervention and political bribery.... none. The people should reject it and demand good governance. Businesses across the country are not doing well. I have been at my usual hotel for the past two days all alone, a place that was a beehive of activity just last year is dead silent. At Portharcourt airport right now, same thing. The economy is visibly contracting everywhere you look. They can collect that money out of thirst and hunger but their chances of success with it are precarious right now. |
He is there on an economic mission because he knows the state's finances have tanked and his party must retain power. Normally the EFCC should be called in to investigate how the state has arrived near bankruptcy but because the EFCC is not a government institution but a private company they prefer to freeze the accounts of Akwa Ibom that is up to its public obligations and ignore Osun. Or are there no petitions. Are the people of Osun not asking questions?. Do they want a flourishing economy or the humility or servitude to election handouts. Why don't they ask Mr. VP what exactly is going on with their state. I have just one vote and until my fellow man can develop the mental capacity to rise above sentiments, I will not join him at the ballot post. If this was Italy or France or the US or the UK or Korea or any progressive state for that matter, the elections in Osun just like Ekiti will have long been settled and the incumbents ousted by a landslide. By my fellow electorates cannot do that so I will never vote in Nigeria probably in my lifetime. I have a conscience. |
But when a similar thing happened during the last government, the situation was turned to a political football. It is now we understand the importance of seperating governance from politics and upholding institutions over individuals to maintain the professionalism required to handle tough national challenges. Good lesson. |
Krak:Can you explain what the billions will have done to stop this. Can you explain if you, yes you were given the billions, what you will have done to stop this. Give me concrete objectives. Like you accuse, you too trade blames. What has happened to the trillions accrued to all Nigeria these decades. If you can answer that then you can answer the Delta question. The VP said it was a case of accountability and management so their solution is the one they practice presently. But in three and a half years is Nigeria better?. Is Nigeria not poorer than it was in 2015, that is reserve minus debt. The problem of Nigeria can only be solved by restructuring. While Mr. VP wants to patch up a leaky basket draining the resources of the country I rather advocate a different structure called a bucket. We need to change the way Nigeria works by attaching responsibility to resources. The vandals don't care because they cannot see the relationship between their activities and their own wellbeing. This is the sum of the average Nigerian, not just the Niger Deltan. They don't care because government is there to spoon feed them. To clean up their environment. Every Nigerian expects government to do everything including you. Nigeria can never progress that way. Give the peoples of Nigeria the power to control their resources and the responsibility to account for it comes naturally. The responsibility of government is not to generate power, wealth, employment, etc. Its responsibility is to moderate it in a just and equitable nature such that no constituent part is left out. Then you will see Nigerians maximise their potentials but the devils in us want it all for ouselves first, then our families, then our clans, then our tongues before our country. This is what devastates the Niger Delta, not failed derivation that could not possibly work in the first place. Like I said before the last elections, the best Nigerians can hope to get from the incoming government wiil at best be superficial improvements here and there. Expecting the kind of nation building change that progressive nations are known by cannot and will not be possible under this structure. That is all what we have gotten under decades of derivation, superficial improvements. |
CSTR1005:I quite agree especially with the former who has the combination of private and public office experiences and has excelled in both. However the big caveat remains that with this present structure all efforts and best intentions will count for naught at the close of business. This country is simply unworkable the way it operates. We are on a socio-economc downward spiral no leader can recover from. Sorry. |
ivandragon:And the present multi million naira ones that are currently underway that we know..... This country eh.... Abeg just....live your life and forget about Nigeria. This country is irredeemable. Corruption is what the other man is doing or has done. |
I think God in His wisdom made hair (in all regions) to offer various protection at a time when man was essentially nake.d, i.e without any form of clothing. Thus the functions of warmth or radiation, shock absorption, film barrier, etc were necessary before the fall of man are substituted today by clothing we wear. Today no one needs to be told to wear nose, ear or eye protection when it is dusty or when attending to the sick and infirmed. No one needs to tell a ruskie to wear a bear pelt hat in winter and your speedo will certainly offer better protection against the agressive bacteria found in most swimming pools and some seasides than the forest between your legs. So hair in certain regions can go but the key is replacing function. If not done adequately and properly, nasty consequences can occur. So let not fashion or fad undermine the wisdom by which God created the human body in all its glory. Donot toy with your health. |
mrvitalis:Keep quiet there. The strength of a country is the sum of the qualities of its people. Just because Russia has managed to produce an automobile with German Porsche and Bosch technology you are hyperventilating. And if you care to research on space sdventure you will have come across the term Skylab which rivalled the Soviet Mir space station long before the ISS was built. Today American entrepreneurs are flying space craft into near orbit at will and Elon Musk has just tested the most powerful rocket engine ever built which cannot get approval yet due its inherent safety compromises. America is about its people while Russia like Nigeria is all about its government. Weak people, strong government can never sustain excellence in the long term. Please be informed and don't let a common automobile cause a loss of judgement. |
Once again. By 2019 everyone will be demystified... okay back to retirement from social media. |
The material of normal fuel tanks are distant cousins of the one in question. They are all base plastics but just of a better, purpose built quality. The danger here is escaping gases. PMS is highly volatile and evaporates at room temperarure making an unsealed tank a potemtial IED. The FRSC will never see this. |
iammo:No let them continue. I thought Nigeria is progressing.... |
Poverty is a mental state. It has nothing to do with your resources, so Nigerians take note. It has nothing to do with your skill set as this player was poor during his successful tennis career and remains poor now. It has nothing to do with your mental acumen. There are professors who cannot comfortably afford a decent lifestyle. It has nothing to do with your religious affiliation with God as there was once a righteous poor man who died and went to heaven. There are many in the Kingdom struggling to make ends meet. It has all to do with your mental disposition towards the resources every man will be tried with at one time or the other during his or her life time. As the famous analogy of sharing the wealth of the world equally amongst all its inhabitants. Time proves wealth or poverty and after a time the resources will return to something looking like the way it is today. The big question is: what are you doing with the little you have today. It will determine your tomorrow and define your life. |
Racists everywhere...sad. |
HypocriticalMod:That is a club formed over a hundred years ago. That is a hundred years of consistent investment. Please reason properly. |
Dotman2210:'In red'. What is happening to folks these days using the word 'on' when referring to apparel. Its annoying please. |
c2far:It has nothing to do with state police. It is about law and jurisprudence. If the state is wrong he can get judgment and compensatory settlement. If as he alleges it is politically motivated, the governor's immunity expires next year and he can be prosecuted for that. I wonder what is wrong with Nigerians and their penchant for upholding failed systems of governance, politics and administration out of fear that reform is dangerous. You can never build an egalitarian society if the people are too cowardly to take bold steps and further make the sacrifices necessary to build their society. Let us put things in proper perspective abeg. Fight to uphold the law and everyone will behave properly. |
judedave181:Investigate who. He is on the righteous side.... So move on to the righteous side, I say move on to the righteius side, move on to the righteous side of Bob. |
Ovamboland:And why do you need to pay the police to provide secirity in a national, civic event. What is their responsibility in the first place. Please donot upset me this morning. There is a general curfew in plave and the nation is on lock dpwn. Banks do not open, markets ate closed, places of turbulent activity are shut freeing a lot of police manpower. What do they need extra allowances beyond their salaries and operational budget for. Look mister. A people who don't demand accountability will never get it. Anti corruption does not just start and end with EFCC arrests. It starts with policy framework for which the will of the people must be the primary drivers. This is one of the few countries where the people are so docile and ignorant as to provide ideas by which governance work. A people that just take everything, hook, line and sinker that their government throws at them will get robbed even if an angel presides. INEC is not a private organisation and the event of election is not a family fund raiser. It is pure government business. There is no reason whatsoever government officials should be paid to conduct elections. |
At the end of it all we still get visionless, rudderless thieves..... just not worth it. And that is why I have no PVC and cannot see the point in voting in an invalid only to expect him to win a race bent in favour of his opponent called failure. |
That is the lot of the average Nigerian... lazy brained and cowardly. You compel him to change the way things are done with a view to improving them and he rather abandons it all. I experience it all the time in all my businesses. Employees will angrily leave the job rather than leave their comfort zones and absorb the pressure to improve. Politicians will rather dump their party affiliations rather than remain and fight to reform them and the ever lazy Nigerian youth will rather flee his country to the succor of societies that have been developed by the doggedness of their contemporary hosts. Its a Nigerian thing. The police lack ideas and simply cannot see beyond its colonial era ideology of being a 'force' tool in the hands of the British overlords to subjagate the natives. Let them go and then recruit self educating, self motivated, patriots to take over. Good riddance. |
Bankers in collabo with Falz and Mr. President to demarket Nigeria. |
Hahaha...of course FIFA knows political power is transient. Who has time to rub noses with those who will be here today and gone tomorrow. |
kingxsamz:That is why the pursuit of man should be for ideals not items. Everything is just vanity. |
OP, Body building and strength endurance are not the same thing so take note. One reflects on the outside, the other is purely the exploitation of the body's internal mechanism. I don't know any of the WSM titlists who has a body building, ripped physique neither are champion weight lifters pleasing to the eye. |
How can this come to my attention at the front page during lunch time. Mod what is this nonsense. How can I delete the savegery imagery from my abused mind now. Take time oh.... kai |
