Really feel sorry for them. Dis country sef. Turning her citizens to animals daily. |
Nice. Good one. |
Suspend any post courtship plans until everything is sorted out. You have just started the journey of knowing him. |
obonujoker:Indeed. The bible speaks about those who seek the office of a deacon, bishop or other positions of authority as required amonsgt other things to be able to 'bridle' their families so as not to bring their message and indeed ministry into disrepute. Sadly these days the wisdom required to do these is lacking and a lot of them end up being poster men for family dysfunctionality. |
2016v2017:But her father is a lawyer, a learned person. Learned people are thoughtful and circumspect and conservative and principled and disciplined, and objective and are a lot about vision..... not shortsighted, passion driven people. |
Not a good example. Once more I say this of parents, children and families. God views children as seeds of continuity for fulfilment of vision and pupose so must be guarded with all diligence. What I see here is a king dancing naked. She is building a glass ceiling over her in things concerning earth and in heaven. Summary. Visonlessness, bad, ignorant parenting. It won't end well. It appears Pastor Vice President is one that just sits down and hopes that prayer will work everything out for him? No wonder in the greater context of his office, nothing appears to be happening. No light is shinning....just hidden under a buschel personality. He probably keeps mum even at home with things deteriorating around him. |
mu2sa2:Why do you folks feel everyone arrested by the police will eventually be prosecuted. Why do you feel everyone not actively at the crime scene is not part of the criminal activity. Let the police do thier job. They have a right to bring in anyone remotely connected with the participants or with the process of the crime. They will investigate, question, profile and where there is no suspicion the invitees will be released. There is a lot of information that a 'hotel housekeeper' can have that will further the investigation that the fellow will ordinarily not willingly give perhaps out of fear. However the greater fear of the wrath of the law can bring that information out. A few years ago a General's daughter was lured, drugged, robbed and murdered. At that time people said why was the chemist from whom tje drugs were bought arrested. It was later found out he was part of the crime. So we should not jump into conclusion. Arrest doesn't mean culpability but it means suspicion which may or may not lead to prosecution. |
authority2006:The large number of operatives of that robbery means it was a conglomeration of various criminal gangs. A large number of operatives means the chances of information leakage is high when you lean on the right people. Someone somewherw will know something. The number arrested doesn't mean they were all active participants but some will have offered various services to the success of that operation, from intel to logistics. It is not a crime for the police to 'call' past offenders in for questioning. It is done everywhere. The police can profile a past criminal and re-arrest on suspicion or to enhance the investigation. They however must be released within 24hours if nothing is found and obviously must be given access to legal counsel. It was a major operatìon and every available resource must be exploited. If you value your liberty, don't do crime. The moment you make it a habit to offend, you become a servant to law enforcement. |
yeyerolling:Ex-criminals are a trove of information. They have residual contacts and can be leaned on to rat out even if they were arw not active. Don't be ignorant of that important fact. |
ibkgab001:Mercedes is a mass market brand product. Except for the Maybach series I cannot see this as fact. |
Euouae:So why can't he 'untarnish' his own image by acting like a leader. No other ex or military leader in the history of Nigeria has been this inept and spineless at handling civil strife. We know it is about the anti open grazing law and the fact that they want enough deaths to rewrite that law in blood. The same folks who will never let this country be restructured. |
Read my posts long before, during and after the 2015 elections. I said, the best we will get from this government will be superficial advances. Nothing will fundamentally change for the better. As April ends, we are 75% into the tenure of this government and in a year it will be all over. What can we say has improved fundamentally in Nigeria that warrants all these noise. What can this government lay claim to have achieved, attained, completed...a changed. Name one ill of the past that has ended. |
msylva2147:Oga, one full term is almost up. In another couple of years Buhari will have spent as much time as Jonathan did as C in C. What will be your excuse then. The excuses have passed their sell by dates and the crumbs given to political attack dogs have become inedible....toxic. Why won't people forget the past. They choose to live in the present, in reality because they were promised a better future back then. If your government has failed to deliver, whose fault. |
Where are those laying claim to security as one of this government's achievements. These slain ones have families. Go preach that to them. |
Gaddafi's outreach from the grave again.... |
kyjuan99:You can say that again. Even the club you can call the best of all time, Real Madrid had extended periods of sporting droughts the most recent during the early part of the 'Perez Galactic Era' when they spent a lot and won very little... and it could be that when Ronaldo and Ramos are done the team could slip back into dormancy even with heavy investment. Sports in general is all about eras. Nothing lasts forever. There was a time Spain couldn't win a teacup. They were perenial underachievers like Holland even with massive football clubs in Barca, Valencia and Madrid, a low point being the loss to Nigeria in world cup 98, but they pushed on, on the back of La Masia, tiki-taka and a system that didn't fight club football but adapted the national team character to it. The results were stunning. A world cup, record back to back Euros. That era is over now and the once feared Spain, like Italy has taken the back seat to watch the likes of Germany and the rising Belgium. |
phoenixthefirst:I doubt that, on the principle that any prospector who cannot adapt to mitigating circumstances in his quest for excellence cannot enjoy long term success. It is good to be rigid and dogged in the pursuit of performance based on set pathways but the nature thrives on camoflague. The reason why bacteria, viruses and cancer is so successful is that it constantly mutates, changes to stay ahead of its pursuers. Pep has stuck to a system of management comprising of players, clubs, technics and tactics that has and will increasingly become predictable. His deep seated lrgacy at Barcelona is the reason why the club hasnot been able to win the UCL for years now despite fielding some of the best players on earth. The Bayern he left is a much better outfit now and I predict they could go all the way and lift the cup. As for Pep and City I simply cannot see them lifting the UCL except if all stars align for them and they play against a Marseille or Villareal in the final. In England what I see in Pep is what I saw in Arsene Wenger when he came to the EPL. He too was revolutionary in management, technics and tactics but his rigidity has not permitted him to enjoy the kind of long term success the more liberal Alex Ferguson was. Once the Premiership rises to the challenge of Pep it will carch up and Pep will haveno option but to buy success at any cost or move on to new grounds where they know him not like he is apt to do. I wouldn't bet long term on him. Still not convinced. |
Aderewah:You can say that again. Unfortunately this forum is a microcosm. The shallower, the better. 'Stunning photos, no literature'. You reply with anything more than a paragraph and the youth descend on you with bile as if the mad rush to the basement of ignorance is a noble venture. With the amount of time folks spend on social media you will think some sort of focus, drive and productivity will result but we now know its all a cover up for terrible social incompetencies. The internet permits you to be foolish and yet rebound while in real life one will probably eject you first time like a spent cartridge. |
They tied it there because they know you believe in it. And to confirm that, you are already asking for 'prayers'. They know if they tie a copy of a fashion magazine or box of gold jewellry you will smile at the 'angelic gift from heaven' Abegi. |
clemmonce:He was a very nice man to meet. Very friendly and extremely proud of his place and profession. Memories... |
Konquest:Yeah. Knew him when I was a kid. He and my dad were friends. Took us once on a guided tour when he was around. The last Nigerian Airways flight I took was Jos - Lagos sometime 88 or 89. Flight was for 8.30 am. Didn't arrive until 7.30pm. The flight was lousy, the aircrew looking disheveled, the food stale and the seats smelly. We then had to land at MMIA because local had closed. Took us another hour to get through customs. By the time I arrived home it was quarter to one in the morning. I was relieved but absolutely done with Nigerian Airways and air travel in general. Tilll today the bulk of my trips are by road. Nigeria is just not ripe enough for the emergence of a genuine airline industry. All those desires and dreams one had as a boy are properly trashed by the realities ov this decaying country. |
Very nice. |
unknownsolja:Yes, cut down on bad stuff but no to these absurd vegetarian diets. Man is not a herbivore and the body will suffer with most of these vegetarian diets. A lot of folks have damaged their kidneys eating and drinking green stuff beyond what their kidneys can handle. Carnivores eat red permenantly and I've not seen an overweight lion or heard a tiger going down with cardiac maladies. We are somewhere between the goat and lion. We need both red and green. The key is balance and optimum quantity per time. Unlike lions we don't expend much energy getting our food so it is oft easy to consume beyond balance. That is the main problem. Not type of food but quantities. Whoever controls the world of portion sizes and culinary ergonomics has actually done us in. Everything from plate, pots, pans, kettle, cutlery sizes mean more space for more food. Why should the average can of soda be 35cl and a bottle of beer in excess of 50cl. Why do egg trays need to have 8, 12, 24 or 30 holes and why do deep freezers need to be bigger than caskets. That is the problem. |
The body's store of excess fuel for energy is fat. 3 things are at play here and typical responses. Two are well known. Dieting: cutting down the fuel administered to the body. Exercise: bleeding the energy storage tank. The third is changing the way and the rate the body consumes energy. Crack that and become a global sensation. The others are just unsustainable waste of time. |
omohayek:Best post of the month. Only restructuring can work. |
lilkech:It is. I woke up at 3am, cleaned my nose with a hanky and it was there, soot. I will be doing 3 days in a week at this rate. Though I understand it was much worse in 2016, 2017 when it was a 24 hr fallout. It apears the boys cooking crude have gotten wind (no pun intended) of the angst and do their stuff only at night now. And what is the stuff? .... using worn/old tires as fuel to crack crude oil. But make no mistake about it. You cannot breathe this stuff consistently for long without serious health consequences. I expect an epidemic in no distant future. |
cosmos1440:Because he appears to be the only 'messiah' so like Jesus he arrives at Lazarus grave three days later having been tied up in some other engagements and expecting the disciples to give it a go first.... the rest of the police force essentially has no faith....useless lot. You can see he even has personal protection (a gun totting dude) and you begin to think this Kyari man is not a policeman as we have come to know. So the police is split down the middle.... brains and brawn in a ratio like 100,000 to 1. We cannot even produce one Abba Kyari per geo-political zone, thoughtless of one per state. In sane societies every county (local government) will have them by the dozen. |
Sheuns:Same basic architectural form and design used throughout tne country. Notice the stone work. Vestages of colonial, pre-independence era. The police is one institution that cannot rid the white man's whip and jackboots from its psyche. The Abba Kyari chap is a breadth of fresh air as to how the entire police (I won't use 'force') service should operate. More brains, less brawn. So we should celebrate this but after 58 years of independence, Abba Kyari's appeal is just like my granny attending grade school. |
This is disgusting . |
hadduni:Which love. He obvious married her and very quickly without proper courtship because of the phantom pregnancy He was conned. Only Gid Almighty can repair the Titanic of a marraige. Wr ate always the architects of our problems. The silly man was 'testing' before ascertaining the quality of the merchandise. Can you do that with ten naira peanuts sold by the roadside thougtless of a life changing, lifetime committment to someone. Abegi. |
One of the last excuses for performance has been sunk. So.... Oil now trades higher than in any previous government bar parts of the Jonathan regime. |
doyinwbaby:You were in a staff bus, saw the drama (with other folks no doubt), could do nothing yet come here to berate someone else. Abeg Mr. This is shameful. Abeg go mute. |
