Told you guys. Change the game, not the players. |
Nothing to say. Just change the game, not the players. |
francizy:You are wrong too. The stat is for goals scored in the Calendar year 2015, half of which Ighalo spent in the Championship. The stat is specifically for the league and the comparison is across all four leagues in England. No one has scored more goals from the Premiership to Division 3 in England than Odion in 2015 starting from January to December. Just league competitions. |
Luciferlove:See another one. Read, read, read. Be quick to understand and slow to speak. |
BabaO2:The year, the year, the year. ......2015. That started in January and is ending with City's match tonight. What has Vardy and Lukaku been doing since January. |
This is what we want to hear, not the silly, unproductive things the government has been enmeshed in for a while. Now go and increase it to 7% |
mccoy47:The thing has deteriorated badly. Such a pity. Government can never get anything right. |
Thd spokesman however failed to state why funds meant for the war were diverted to personal use. This is downright wrong, criminal and treasonable. There has to be an explanation for this unfortunate turn of events. |
Donchyke007:But what are we fighting. I thought corruption has ended with this administration. Let me tell you what is happening. This corruption thing was so over-hyped and people fell for it that they thought the moment corruption ended the economy will instantly turn to that of say Dubai, or Norway or Singapore. That was not true. I don't blame the APC in that. They had to come up with something to remove the PDP. The fact is countries with low corruption still have bad economies. Corruption is nothing more than revenue leakages. The lack of it in itself does not guarantee prosperity. For one Nigeria cannot prosper because of its structure. The country is not programmed to develop under the structure, the constitution we have simply because it polarizes the peoole and arrogates all the tools of development to the centre. It is almost one year since the APC got to power. Even if the price of oil jumps to 150 dollars today and no one steals a penny anymore from government Nigeria will at best have cosmetic changes. The real indices of development will hardly budge. Corruption is bad no doubt, it has slowed us down, but it is not the reason why Nigeria is backward and fighting it will not be the only reason Nigeria will move forward. This Buhari government will have a long, long 3 years in the saddle. |
pimpinlala:It has been banned for years now. Nigerians won't have it. |
The police has banned these things for over 15 years now. A combination of ignorance and impunity. No sympathy to the patents whatsover. For the boy, sorry. |
Just scratching for any and every evidence to justify the massacre. If he or the group has broken laws, call in law enforcement to arrest and prosecute. Make it legal, clear and just. That is all Nigerians ask of their authorities. |
Lionsclaw:There is a difference between the will of God, the ways of God and the Word of God. People often misconstrue them. The first is a desire expressed, the second is an attitude (what makes God God), the third is God Himself. God cannot change. His Word cannot change. I know you read your Bible, make concerted effort to UNDERSTAND. My desire, my will is to eat fried chicken today. I can get it by buy buying and preparing it, either way. These two can change. But once I order for it, it gets delivered, one way or the other because I am a man of authority. If the Word could be changed by anyone including God Himself then He ceases to be God. If His Word could be changed, believe me the devil himself will go scot free because he will be able to get God to change it concerning him. Brother, the unchanging, unbreakable Word is all you have. The Word of God is God Himself. He doesn't age, fade, die, tire, stress, eat, bath, jog. He is a spirit, the Word is a personality, the Word is God. John 1:1 |
Silly man. When I got to the point where he said God can change His mind I quit. God can NEVER, NEVER, NEVER change His mind. He is a Holy God and Holiness means integrity. He says what He means and means what He says. He is not a man to lie, neither is He one to change His mind..." Numbers 23:19. And people like us are glad He is Holy. When people lie against God attributing things He never intended then they embarrass themselves only. You are called to preach the word alone, nothing more. God is not interested in your politics, goverment system or other mundane things. He promotes His own kingdom where He alone is King. |
What is it about alcohol that people love so much despite the fact that it leaves nothing but tragedy after tragedy. What is it about the police force that makes them the basest humans in existence. What is it about Nigerians that make them argue with armed policemen when they have more than enough cases to make them simply extricate themselves from certain death. What! Why? |
Read through your long epistle. Usually donot comment on non Christian unions because the institution of marraige is a God centred one. That is founded and operated by God. You made fleeting references to your relationship with God but by your actions you don't appear to relate with God at all. Your wife just as much. Remember. God created man complete and perfect before 'discovering the need' for a woman. You on the other hand were not completely ready for a wife so I cannot see why you expect any other outcome. To start with, your delegating of your responsibilities of 'finding' a wife is insulting to God (not surprised your idol of a job was uprooted) as it sets the agenda for the rest of your life in Christ. Even as a tata one of the first things I got to understand about God is that He personally takes charge of ALL THE IMPORTANT DECISIONS OF OUR LIVES particularly those which relate or can affect others so I inquire of God not about whether to wear black or grey socks but who, when, how to marry because man is not capable of making choices beyond what they see. |
tpiar:Yeah. I understand the exercise thing but when someone is bleeding heavily and you have to get blood products yourself from the bank a good distance away through all that protocol knowing also no treatment will be administered until payment is made another distance away in yet another direction then it can be a challenge. My take is that if the facilities - the hardware has to be like that, far flung, the protocols and procedures to getting medical attention/intervention - the software, should be streamlined and made user friendly. That's why in Nigeria pray not to have medical emergencies and where you can help it like child birth you've got to book well in advance or you are done. |
What's it about Nigerian Government Medical Facilities and their sprawling architecture as if they were all designed by one person. Last time I was at one (which looked like all the others) on an accident/emergency case I had to walk several kilometres that day from section to the other. A&E 600 metres from the blood bank, then 300 metres from accounts then 500 metres and unending corridors to the dispensary. The worst thing is there is hardly anything in between, crappy offices, broken down lavatories and junk yard stores. We managed to get the chap a wheel-chair, pay for surgery only to discover that the theatre had no power. Guess what. No refund. The payment was for that specific theatre and had been 'entered into the system'. No problem except yet another journey of a thousand metres and the poor chap was filling the small bucket under his lacerated arm. I don't know what inspires Nigerian medical architecture but it is certainly not user friendly. |
godoluwa:Its high time you guys get over this GEJ thing. The elections have been won and lost, the lessons hopefully learnt. As many as are tired of the present regime blaming the previous so we are sick of the present being subject to vendettas by supporters of the past. This country belongs to us all and the success of any government in power should be our collective responsibility. I fully support opposition no matter how hard they come down on the government in power but it should be for progressive reasons not vengeful ones. |
Coolcash1:Okay, Mr. Reasonable K. Einstein. What if there was a passenger on that flight leaving for a medical procedure in Turkey, huh! "What do you think would have happened to the person by now....." |
Moana:You know how to quote money, money, money. Now get a pair of $5 sneakers and hit the road. The botox won't matter. |
And what has been the benefit of all these to the country. This is a man that has his hands in all pies of state since the civil war. His footprints are on the door mats of all administrations since independence. As far as I am concerned he is the lightning rod for all what this nation has descended to become and at his exit will be the door, the entry way to a national re-birth. |
It is not about whether Rochas has paid salaries to date or not. Its about a third world state spending this kind of money on something of no intrinsic value whatsoever in the middle of a recession. The object, timing, purpose and taste is all wrong. And mark you the salaries were bailout funds accruing interest for the future. |
salawustyles:He's on their side. |
Aufbauh:It is the results that matter. Budgets are just planning tools. Even the most profligate regimes had credible budgets. The will to implement it is always the problem. |
NgeneUkwenu:Wake up. It is the job of the opposition to condemn everything the government does without exception. It got the APC into power now they have to live with it. Eventually propaganda will erode any political structure. |
Yuck. Goat meat. Can't stand the stench. |
OgidiOlu3:That's why you are asked to think, imagine, not argue. |
kolaaderin:But most of the stuff that happened then is still happening. Corruption is still on like the sun and the moon. The fact that there is less to steal doesn't mean nothing is being stolen. We see it everyday. As a matter of fact it may become more vexing to know that graves are being robbed. |
Politics and governance is like that, a car that starts a journey with a full tank of gas. Even for the best driven cars the fuel eventually runs out. No matter how well the State is governed people will eventually tire simply because man's wants are insatiable and the ability to satisfy a typical people who do nothing for themselves but depend wholly on government will wear thin. But then to make matters worse Nigeria cannot be governed well by default due to its faulty structure so sustained development is a really just a mirage. 2019 may be too early for the PDP not because of its misdeeds (Nigerians have short memories and selective amnesia) but because its former structure is not eroding quickly enough. The party apparently is not sinking as fast as it should and there are still too many undesirable elements, viruses that need to wither and die or jump to another host - the APC for the party to be renewed. I am a bit surprised that the PDP has not been 'dismantled' by the current government. This will have set the tone for a swifter change. |
Peanuts. All that can't even deliver 500 megawatts of power that even the smallest states like Cross-river needs to float. There just must be another way to develop. Ideas must be generated. |
Really, really sad. When are we going to get it right. That money is not the in all, end all. That money is not all this life has to offer. That we are humans not animals. For goodness sake why this. |

you just exposed yourself dude. God changed is mind several times in the bible, and there are even situations were he said "give me your strong reasons why I should not destroy the (wicked) land".
I'm sure if you hear $50 per month for gym and $200 per month to buy healthy food, you will end up on ICU sef
