Klose is not sharp. Another player who shouldn't be on at this stage of the match.

Even if that wasn't a goal all I can see is problems, big problems for Germany. Their midfield keeps on breaking down and with that you just cannot win.

The Argentine tactic is a lot better than the German one so far. Germany is turning over the ball too easily outside the Argentine box. It will test them tonight.
Christianity Etc › Re: Numbers 18 Faults Oyedepo’s Teaching On Tithes by Reference(m): 11:55am On Jul 13, 2014
I remember instances in the gospel where even Jesus was accused of receiving gifts instead of caring for the poor. Did he not care for the poor, did he not feed the hungry even beyond what his hypocritical accusers ever did but when he met men fishing his message was clear, I will not give you fish but 'make' you fishers of men. People have often misinterpreted the church's mission. The church's primary mission is meant to 'make' and 'keep - protect' people. People in turn do the work to make society. Time and again there will be this conflict'of responsibilities but the church's mandate is clear 'make men disciples of Christ'. Jesus said to those who listened 'hey, the poor will always be amongst you so take care of them'.

There is no way I will be giving what belongs to Christ to the poor. I will give to the poor what belongs to them. The salvation and reconciliation of man back to God is far, far more important than poverty or wealth afterall it is sin - the disconnection of man from God that led to poverty in the first place.

I pay my tithes as a service to God. I live by faith so I don't care what happens to it. So. But then they will come back and say churches are springing up everywhere, the gospel is on every channel and radio station and christianity infiltrates every sector. Of course, it doesn't take a genius to put one and one together. Even science knows that food is the critical element in multiplication and it comes first. Provide more and more garbage outside your door and watch the rats multiply. God stocked the garden of Eden before creating man and blessed him to go forth and multiply. God said bring in the tithes that there may be 'food' in my house. Jesus said go forth and preach the gospel, speading it to all the corners of the earth. Is it surprising that 'giving' churches are multiplying rapidly and soreading everywhere. Because they threathen some they will react against the fuel of growth. Not surprising.

lawa18: for those asking, I am a guy. U guys don't get it, My problem is not that they are in love. Where am concerned is that under normal circumstance they cannot marry because of the incompatibility in there genotype. they r both AS. God knows I am not bothered when they started despite the alienation. How can they marry in this situation. My brother was looking for a wife before he met this gal
Please the biblical recognized and purposed relationship is vertical - father, mother producing child who becomes father and so on and not horizontal brother, sister, cousin, etc. Once your brother becomes an adult you have very little influence on his. His business should not concern you. Your concerns should be towards your own vertical relationships - your own family, your future. The only things that should bring both of you together will be issues concerning your parents, no more.

Having said that your brother is not going about things properly. His parents deserve to know what he's getting into, who they are handing over their son to. Am afraid it will end badly and together with the relationship mistakes you are making poster it will bow back and ravage the entire family. Ultimately the blame goes to your parents. Once again, poor parenting, a family having communication an trust issues.

VirginFinder: Look, a male nurse doesn't deserve to have a pEnIs!

How can you be enjoying the company of females in a 4-yr nursing course when your counterparts are burning the midnight candle studying a 6-yr medicine and surgery course?

After all said and done, they want to enjoy the benefits that comes with being a medical doctor.

They even want to be referred to as doctors! Damn!!

Males nurses are simply suffering from inferiority complex.

It's like comparing a soldier man to an officer.

No matter how many years of experience a nurse has amassed, a doctor fresh from medical school is her boss.
Please don't try to compare the military to medicine in terms of structure, command and control. No soldier, other rank or officer will ever step out to battle without the other. All these 'I can do without the other', 'I am better than the other', 'I am equal to the other' is for disorganised professions. When the chips are down its all about performance, survival and accomplishment. If the medical profession is all about life and death like the military's then you guys are failing, very badly.

dabriggs: Shame. Big shame. Go back and read ths write up again and again. The past you quoted was penned down because Anifowosire or whatever his name is had used the same analogy by trying to make superior the verb to "doctor". This write up simply also made superior the verb to "nurse".
The write also never talked about uusurping the roles of Doctors. Note, the writer saying that each of these professionals are necessary. This senseless strike isn't about who diagnoses a patient or who performs surgery (whether the nurse or the doctor)! No! We know the Vital roles of the doctors and the vital roles of the nurses too. Even the pharmacists who dispenses medication is important. Each professional plays a role in the value chain.
It is cheaply about who leads the HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. In my opinion any smart healthcare professional should.

It will really take forever for this country to Develop.
Well done.

azimibraun: I don't expect a Doctor or any relative of a Doctor to agree with this article but the truth is that the time has come. The doctors are finaly going to lose respect in the eyes of the population. They have beed suspect all the while but this would represent their fall to grass from grace. From my conversation with folks on the development in the health sector and frm what I saw on Channels TV sunrisedaily yesterday, Doctors are going to lose a whole lot of respect by the time this is over no matter how relevant they are. Nigerians are now seeing them as selfish ambitious ppl more than the Nobles they ouught to be.
This is the bottom line. But perhaps its worth it. I for one just cannot understand.

jahbiz: Great!!! But where are African names especially Nigerians. Don't we have one?
We do. They are just not global icons. And that's an important point. You donot have to be massive to be successful. Success is not measured in size or popularity but in the distance between where you started and where you end and for some that journey begins even after their demise and continues for generations without end. So never underestimate the smallest, irrelevant seed of a story you see today around you. Life has a way of surprises. Just never give up. Always strive for excellence and fight till your last days on earth.

Cool. I particularly like the Stephen King one. The wife rescued his scripts from the 'round file' - the garbage can I suppose and tried one more time. I guess a couple of threads that run through them all is persistence and a will to do it differently once again.

I also hope before he leaves he can take a look into the position of our overall university system and perhaps profer a solution to the funding problem being a guru in economics, Perhaps telling us some home truths some of our local egg-heads are avoiding.

Gôod one from a solid visionaire. I expect nothing less.

The chief culprit is medications and the western world is full of it. A lot of medicines are disastrous when taken during pregnancy, even some of those passed as safe today end up being less so years down the line.

Mbediogu: Thanks Dr. Eilogie for your well researched write up. You have shown the material doctors are made of. Is anybody still in doubt why things are still going the other way in our health sector? Why the most basic drugs must be imported from India? Professionals and vocational are leaving undone what they are trained and paid to do; seeking to bastardize the art of patient/doctor relationship by dilution. I have been in medical practice for 33yrs and I must say this development is catastrophic. I blame the Pharacists squarely for this ugly development; for giving leadership to an unholy alliance to pull down doctors. Let us watch.
See what I mean. The tone of these sort of retorts is troubling.....blame pharmacists.....leadership to an unholy alliance to pull down doctors..... This is what the public cannot understand. Is this politics or professionalism. How is it possible that two highly placed professional bodies cannot sit down and solve this. Are the members of the public not in danger if fights break out in medical institutions. You can imagine what will happen if this bull is played out in a theatre during a procedure. I just shudder.

Well if public opinion doesn't matter so why this post and the many for and against. The truth is that freedom in any realm of life and living comes with grave responsibilities. To whom much is given much is equally expected. Doctors demand and rightfully so much respect, remuneration, etc but the public has a right to expect the very least respect and professionalism. They feel they are not getting it hence the push back. When you see Oga fighting his houseboy in public you restrain the houseboy but the greater damage is done to the reputation of Oga. Doctors are losing the respect and reverence they have in the eyes of the public year on year with these incessant strikes and now this, an issue that the public feels should be a internal matter, a 'family affair' with doctors being the supposed head of the home.' Is inter union dialogue a crime. Must everything always be out in the open.

Personally like I will always say of the incessant finance driven ASUU strikes, it is absurd to have the greatest pool of ideas and talents in Nigeria pressing a group of people who's only asset is power (government) for solutions to common challenges they themselves face when the whole world seeks freedom and considers thinkers to be leaders. In similar manner I consider doctors to be 'too big' to be demanding from government some of the things it asks for.

In sports you're only as good as your current form. I get am before holds no water. Manchester City's premiership title was like a million years ago, the slate is wiped clean. Sponsors, pundits, managers know this. Just ask gaffers who win a title one season and get fired the next for coming second.

We are gripped in viscious cycle spiralling out of control and heading for the rocks. Too bad. Nihilist: Reference see bolded.

The son claims his dad assaulted him and bit him.

This behaviour does not fit the narrative of 'parent disciplining child' and so cannot be possible...

So the user above believes the dad must have bit his son in self-defence cheesy cheesy cheesy
Of course biting is not discipline, that's pure violence. This is one dysfunctional family and the parents are ultimately to blame but equally people do not kill others because they are hit with a spoon and perhaps bitten. The reaction is not equinormous.
