Romance › Re: How Do You See The Girls Used For Music Videos? by Reference(m): 1:01pm On Jan 03, 2014
Hmm. Interesting. The question I would always ask is. Why are the guys dressed and the girls not. Even where the lead is a female, she will still not wear clothes but the men would. I just have this feeling women are trending towards nudity and this cuts across the society in general. As the audience do ladies enjoy watching these acts. How do they feel. Is it like men watching 'Mr. Olympia' or 'World's Strongest Man'. Because as a man I will have a problem watching the nudity of a fellow man thoughtless of a naked dude shaking his.....whatever. Ladies, over to you.
Politics › Re: Obanikoro: Fashola’s Official Car Costs More Than Oduah’s Bulletproof Cars by Reference(m): 11:10am On Jan 03, 2014
We all know how corrupt the Lagos State Government is but what has Obanikoro and Lagos State PDP been doing in times past to 'make a big deal' of the numerous atrocities of the APC led government just like Wike is doing in Rivers. The long uninterrupted sojourn of the PDP at the centre has made many of their members political weaklings and unable to properly and solidly 'oppose'. The idea that it is only those out of power that need fight dirty is wrong. It is far harder to stay ahead.

dorox: Granted, there is free entry and free exit, but the problem is that religion in Nigeria is somehow able to attract 'free' capital in ways that someone with a brilliant idea cannot. The implication of opportunity cost means that every free capital that is sucked up by the unproductive religious houses is capital lost to The more productive business sector.More so, the ten percent tithe and other offerings and levies collected by the church is so inefficiently spent that by my estimate will result to over seventy percent reduction in aggregate demand from the money lost to religion
You have half a point. No more. Yes the church attracts massive capital flows but when these resources are deployed the very churches are accused of being enterprises. Dunno what you guys want. The church is and will control the economy. It is inevitable.

take care of your family and let her take care of hers.
Even if the child is yours; after nine years you wanna play father or what? The child has a father and he is not you.
That is it, period. You have caused a problem before, now you want to drive the dagger deeper. Not wise at all. When the girl hits 18 (adulthood) then she can make her choice (for you if she pleases). You on the other hand have no moral authority to intervene.

specialguest: I asked myself the same question after I left. In all honesty I could not say much to her out of respect but @least it is expected that people of God should humble themselves so the Lord will lift them up.

An elderly woman that was present there actually reminded the pastor"s wife that our former pastor that just left is usually addressed that way so the congregation are used to saying pastor abc but madam insisted it was still wrong. I had no choice than to tender a "reserved" apology
Maybe it was a test of your 'marraige' credentials and I'm not sure you passed. Sometimes in life things do not appear as they seem ordnarily. Learn to be broad-minded. Doesn't cost you anything. It would have been a five minute interview. Surely you can bear brief humiliation to get life long things.

nairalad: Simple! My enemy's enemy is my friend. This is politics! There is a rod in our system, the few honest people cannot compete and win elections in Nigeria, FACT!. If it will take aligning with the evil ones to rescue Nigeria so be it cheesy

This is APCs stragegy. We can feel the pains of the PDP e-rats in their comments. Pele grin
So you can now see that corruption is not the first and only problem in Nigeria. That this country has serious structural problems that have to be vaulted first. Now go and talk no more about corruption. You've lost your moral right to. Buhari in cahoots with OBJ. Told ya.

P.S. Just wonder what Pastor Bakare will make of all this. I raise my glass to you guys. "For the good of Nigeria".

joseph1013: Nope, he just took a leave of absence to sign a contract. According to reports from Keshi, he'll ensure that the contract does not commence until the end of the CHAN competition.

You see, he's not stupid afterall.

If you watch the training at the Camp, you will be amazed at the talent of this boy. His deft touches, accurate passes, ability to evade markers, initiate counter-attacks and immense creativity is a joy to behold.

Mark my words, a football legend is here.
That's my concern here. His national team form. I'm happy he's playing for us first and will adapt to the eagles team. Where he plies his trade is entirely up to him. Heck are there not squad players in the eagles team who are technically clubless. What's my business with Manchester City or Winchester Village.
Politics › Re: Iyabo Obasanjo's Letter To Her Father by Reference(m): 10:27am On Dec 18, 2013
Nigerians are probably the most gullible set of people on earth? All these letters are just a diversion from the main issues troubling this country. The Federal Bureau of Statistics just said this morning that 54% of Nigerian youths are unemployed and people are here arguing over Obasanjo, his daughter and Jonathan that can never go hungry again for the rest of their lives.

Iyabo was a commissioner under Gbenga Daniel for four years, during this period she was also an influential government contractor, she was a Senator too after this and most of you believe this mumbo jumbo? They are all guilty.
Oga. These are just symptoms of the subject matter in general.
Politics › Re: Iyabo Obasanjo's Letter To Her Father by Reference(m): 9:56am On Dec 18, 2013
I said it and will continue to say it, GEJ's Presidency is the best thing that has happened to our democracy and perhaps the country in general. It has been the greatest catalyst for structural reforms and the evolution of the polity. By this government all the intentions and workings of individuals, groupings, traditional power centres, black institutions and so on have been thoroughly exposed. We are now beginning to understand how and why this country got to where it is today, why institutions cannot be built, why society is so fragmented, why the average Nigerian cannot stand for anything. In other words, why nothing works in this country.

Hopefully and I say hopefully we can begin to work on these open wounds and perhaps down the line find solutions to guarantee our future survival.

It is a pity.

Nigeria had no business in the affairs of South Africa, Zaire, Liberia, S/Leone and Mali at the expense of our development. We have no institutions to profit from these interventions so we should stop wasting our money.

Yeah and the warmth of the mum's body, the unmistakable scent of her tender skin, and the rhythm of her beating heart can never be replicated by a pillow. Babies may have small brains but they remember the atmosphere of the mum's womb and you back them to wean them off that. Sorry, this will not fool all of them. Good attempt though.

olivertwist: If I'm Arsene Wenger, I woud have started Arteta and Carzola before Jack Wilshere and Ozil and later substitute them. Up Arsenal
I know Wenger like the back of my palm. He won't play them. With the busy Christmas programme coming he's in full rotation mode. Expect no more than bit parts for his midfielders and plenty of dropped points as a result of poor blending. But the french zebra cannot change his stripes.

Common indeed. Foreign trips (proper ones-not the Edo misadventure), police protection, fleet of SUV's and own more houses than he could sell in his entire career as a realtor.
