No effect whatsoever but the key is creating a balance in what they watch and a balance between what they watch and other entertainment and a balance between entertainment and other life building activities. The key is balance. Most things in life are survivable only if taken in correct doses.

So which views do William Gates and Warren Buffet have. Oh, my bad. He's an African, a Nigerian. Whatever flies his kite. Its a personal thing.

Ha, ha. Now government officials appear to be the accounting saints here. Very, very far from the fuel subsidy strikes when artistes were picking accounting and economics degrees left, right, centre. This is another low for this country but like I said yesterday this whole comedy series is a great opportunity for social reformation. Let's begin to realise just what harm we are doing to ourselves, realise that integrity weighs a whole lot more than money, that life depends on integrity and finally, that there's no one out there to help us. No white knight in shinning armour. To survive we the people have to rise beyond tribe, pride, prejudice and do it.

We can. Let's kill our greed for once to better our society, all of us.

ewet: This is an ethocentric bigot. THe letter he wrote is laced allover with bigotry. All he was saying was tht the party does not consider naija's heterogenous nature. In wht way and in wht context. If the APC likes let them load the entire leadership with igbos or only hausas. i dnt care as long as thy are considred as the best for the job.

This is one of the people who blivs leadership shuld be abt where one is from and not the ability of the individual. He can leave and go back to the dysfunctional chauvinistic naija we are all so much in a hurry to get rid off.
You are the one that does not understand Nigeria nor the path to your El-Dorado. We have religious and ethnic militias running crazy round Nigeria murdering and maiming thousands and you talk about best man for the job. Please be certain about the processes leading to the state of the union rather than the state itself. You want America but marginalise your inhabitants and create a nation of slaves and masters. Just so sorry. You will never get the stability required to prosper until the foundations of this country are relaid. Competent person. What is that. Just irritating to hear.

CFCfan: The Italians put in a galiant performance today.
Italy has obviously closed the gap and come next year I believe they can reverse this result. The spanish team has peaked technically and tactically. The Italians disrupted their passing game for most of the night. Its just a matter of time.

And another fact often ignored when these mind boggling, head scratching sums are mentioned is quality. Poster, what is the level of quality you deliver. From structural integrity to finishing. Cos good quality materials and skilled craftsmanship to put them together don't come two a penny. You move into a new house particularly in estates and find out that you have massive repairs to do right away.

Said it times over. To become a national party you have to take on a nigerian persona warts and all. This condemns the individual ideologies flown by the constituent parties to the merger. Believe me there will be so much compromise by the time election comes that even Tinubu won't recognize the party. However what we stand to gain as a nation is the pressure of good governance brought about by a strong rather than credible opposition.

Those I pity are the die hard loyalists who made it a habit of berating the PDP. What do you say now and when the party reaches even further out.

Nigeria's problem is in the Nigerian not in the colour of his political flag.

Very good tournament for us. The kind of preparation towards the world cup other countries cannot buy. Now that we have been competitively tested by the very best we expect the technical department to effect the necessary upgrade. I hope continuity in administration will be cardinal. Once they can sort out the problem between their ears called attitude and speed up their game, I think we have a bright future.

Is there not a saying that women should only have the number of children that they can conveniently look after themselves?
Na. Blame the government for this predicament. Afterall in Hamerica its common to find 86 year old men doing pampers.

GagaBoy: Its funny how the guys and "some" girls are supporting him..... Or is it because he is Nigerian? That is no way a guy should treat a girl ever! No wonder our morals are going down the toilet. Its pitiful how we can all see cheating as the norm and praising him for it even..... And we wonder why HIV and other STDs are spreading..... Smh
What are you talking about. I don't need a guru to tell me Iyanya is a ladies man. He lives, breathes and makes a living off the part of music that exploits sexuality. What do expect, Papal prejudice. Why not try and get hooked up to lady Gaga and then come running to mommy as to how red this world is painted. If she wants a boy toy then the corporate world is filled with em. You wan marry Tonto and you no go vex. Shior.

Crime › Re: Customs Officer's Bullet Kills Trader by Reference(m): 9:56am On Jun 22, 2013
Very, very tragic event. I hope immediate action will be taken by the Customs Service to train those who bear arms on proper handling and the rules of engagement. I believe arms should not be discharged to stop or apprehend smugglers except the lives of the officers involved are in mortal danger. That's what the patrol vehicle is meant for. To chase down suspects and with communication devices this might not even be necessary. Surely the customs generates more than enough revenue to train and equip its rank and file.

Ajagun for Super Eagles. That will be the day. How many in the present squad in Brazil ever played grade soccer as compared to say Germany, Spain and other more succesful teams now. Therein lies part of our problem, attitude. Each coach wants to 'discover' talent. Our academy programs here are just for show. Ajagun and others will just be lucky to ever get a call. Today we are looking for a decent striker thirty years after winning the maiden U-17 tourney. Thirty years of age grade football.
