There was never any doubt that she would make it to the finals...but she isn't winning it. We saw same thing with T-Boss last year as she survived eviction after eviction and made it to the finals also. She is a strong contender but I daresay a poorly behaved person. I hope she gets the much needed help after the show. |
scondy:All I see is a beautifully constructed thesis premised on a lot of "Maybes" that are mostly incorrect. Perhaps you don't follow the programme religiously or you joined up late so you aren't very familiar with the genesis of the Ceebi saga. You need to go thru the video archives to see how it all went down. When it comes to over analyzing every situation, the guilty party here would actually be CEE-C. She was the one always reading meanings into Tobi's contact with anyone of the opposite sex no matter how innocuous it appeared. She was the one always throwing tantrums for inexplicable reasons making Tobi beg and apologise for hours on end. Teddy A nicknamed her "Over kaku" because she was always calculating and permutating. Tobi is the exact opposite; so carefree that he could almost come across as immature and unserious. Tobi went overboard defending himself about Cee-C playing the sexual harassment card because of the gravity of the situation should it fly. It will not only get him out of the game but also tarnish his and his family's reputation. Case in point was the unfortunate situation with Kemen from last season. Cee-C had told a number of housemates to warn Tobi to stop touching her or else she would report him to Big Brother. She claims she said it light heartedly....but this is live TV and this is a game. You don't play with shit like that! Like I said, methinks you need to follow the show more closely |
GoodKay:If you have another option, don't move into the compound. Otherwise, your fear will begin to cause you to paint mental pictures which might soon begin to manifest and affect everything around you. Move to a place where your mind is at peace and you can look forward to coming home without fear. Technically there is nothing wrong with living in a compound with a grave in it. During my university days, I lived in a house with the owner buried in his room and the room was locked. I did not know until after a year when the man's children came to mark his remembrance ceremony and they opened the room and I saw the tomb. I still lived in the house for one more year until the children decided to sell the property. |
Has he confessed to the crime? What if he didn't do it? Why is everyone raining curses on him and sentencing him to death on social media when the police is yet to close their investigations into the murders? Sometimes the obvious suspect might prove innocent. |
Nig4Greatness:One would think that you would be proud of a leader who is doing all he can to respect democratic principles as it affects intra-party politics; a president who has adopted a method of inclusive dialogue to resolve the issues within his party and insists the party and the country's constitution must be respected. But no! We label and call him a "weak leader" and compare him with Ex President Obasanjo who was well known for bullying party members and opposition alike, and riding roughshod over the constitution of his party and the nation. Like you rightly mentioned, OBJ was the "be all and end all" of the PDP in his days as President. His methods of holding on tight to the reins of control included using the EFCC to keep everyone in line, doling out Ghana-must-go bags of cash here and there and even reportedly forcing then PDP chairman, Audu Ogbeh, to resign at gunpoint. Is that the kind of President you want PMB to be? PMB definitely isn't getting it right in all sectors. But on this issue, methinks he is on the right path. |
ottohan:Cee-C is right. The HMs are quite wasteful with food. |
chyima:Those are Alex's pair of glasses by the way. |
Akthedream112:...And Cee-C can go a full day without calling Tobi's name right? That's why she and Khloe spent over an hour yesterday night in the kitchen, discussing the mystery housemate they derisively call "this one" or "that one." That's also why both of them went mute when "this one" came into the kitchen to get his drink and Khloe started forming nice before Tobi called her out on her bullshit. Yeah, Tobi is soooo obsessed with Cee-C and he is the only housemate that is desperate to win. I hear you. ![]() |
WotzupNG:A "bullet proof G Wagon". How convenient,,, |
Mostly naked in life....fully clothed in death. Hmmm! This life Sha! RIP to the dead. |
PaChukwudi44:It is very annoying when you people make these funny claims without any statistics to back it up. Herdsmen have done and are still doing a lot of damage. This government has failed woefully in checking that menace and I am all for calling them out. But to compare the herdsmen menace to the carnage caused by Boko Haram over the years is the height of historical revisionism. |
If I were to hazard a guess as to the agenda of that meeting, I would say the ex VP is been shown a well compiled dossier of some of his shady activities as VP and asked to quietly refund some of the looted funds traced to him to avoid public disgrace. ![]() |
Absolutely nothing wrong with Reminesce' Ponmile song or video! There's no part of the song or video that glorified domestic violence or subjugation of women. Rather, the response from Kayefi was a load of unoriginal hogwash glorifying the wanton lifestyle that has become the bane of a lot of homes today. |
anibirelawal:Clapback at who? FFK? Do they know or care about his existence? If they do care and they are truly part of a CIA X squad, the only clapback FFK will receive is his own tea or apple...he will be history in no time. The CIA doesn't play. |
HigherEd:More like "the whole of Nigeria" can't be left to rot educationally like this. This may be more prevalent in the north...but it is understandable given their view on "western education". Truth is that there are schools that look like this or even worse, in the South that claims to put so much premium on education. Let us not kid ourselves; The poor state of education is a national emergency and not restricted to any region or state. |
rOsy247:No one should judge CeeCee for her flaws..I agree. But neither should she get any laurels for them. Bad behaviour should never be rewarded. If you are looking for a "strong woman" to support just because, you've got Anto and Alex...and even BamBam. |
mostHandsome01:Viewers simply do not have the time to "get to know anyone" on the show. It is an open platform shared with other contestants and if you got it, then bring it out and put it on show. You can't keep radiating negative vibes day in and day out and then blame viewers for forming a negative impression. Viewers don't know you beyond what they see on their TV screens and have no choice but to judge you based on that. |
At least the "big sister" seems to agree with the conclusions reached by most viewers about Cee C. The only difference is that since they are sisters, she has an invested interest in tolerating the short comings and making excuses for her sister; a luxury the viewers don't have. |
She sure looks good for a woman who is "homeless", has sacrificed a lot, doesn't know where her husband is and whose child "cries for daddy all the time." She will be all right. |
Oh let me add that before GULMA, there were another series of prototypes called AMEBO. We have researches and prototypes going back all the way to 2007. http://www.defenceweb.co.za/mobilesite/defenceweb/home/item_id-33115/ |
Needless and pointless controversy as usual. GEJ commissioned a prototype UAV called GULMA. PMB commissioned an improved and operational version of GULMA called TSAIGUMI. 2 President's, 2 phases of the same project; one country, Nigeria. Did GEJ commission the first locally built UAV? Yes! Did PMB commission the first "operational" UAV? Yes! Will another President commission the planned Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV)? Yes! These calls for celebration and not pointless brickbats. |
For as long as we pussy foot around this issue of petroleum pricing, fuel scarcity will persist. There is simply no way the independent marketers who account for the bulk of products sold in the downstream sector, will retail fuel at N145 after importing at between N170 - N175 per litre. The FG/NNPC can also not continue to shell out billions to subsidise the product in the long term...it is simply not sustainable. The FG needs to bite the bullet and push for full deregulation once and for all. Sadly we lost a great opportunity in 2012 under the last government with the nationwide protests that greeted the new year announcement of deregulation. It was simply a case of wrong timing given the Christmas season, and the fact that there wasn't any prior engagement with the public and sensitisation. I hope lessons have been learnt on both sides. Government must engage and educate the public on initiatives before implementation. The government must as a matter of urgency begin to engage at all levels in preparation for full deregulation. The engagements should clearly state all of the palliative measures that will be rolled out in the short term to cushion the short term effects of the anticipated petrol price increase. Also government should as a matter of urgency review and implement the long anticipated increase in the minimum wage to reflect current realities. The downstream must be deregulated! There is no escaping that bitter pill. |
This bunch of housemates are such a let down walahi! I remember previous editions where the house will become as quiet as a graveyard whenever the housemates lose a wager. These current jokers just moved on with life, laughing, cracking jokes and eating up a storm after losing two tasks back to back. Big shame! Then there is that obtuse HOH called Tobi, under whose watch the housemates have lost their wager twice now. Rather than show some remorse and hold himself accountable for the losses, he is busy chasing Cee-C's waist all over the house like a he-goat on heat. Thirdly, a big shame to the organisers for selecting these sorry bunch of losers as housemates. I mean, how do you increase the prize money from 25 to 45 million naira and then lower the selection bar so badly that this boring set of jokers emerge out of the thousands that must have turned up for the auditions? Has the entertainment value of the average Nigerian youth fallen so low that the organisers will have us believe these were the best they could get? I wish I could suggest to the organisers that for the next task, the housemates should be forced to wager 100% meaning that if they lose, they get nothing. I also think Biggie should have a one on one with each of them in the diary room and read them the riot act: Raise your game or get kicked out! After that he should give each of them a strike. If that doesn't shake them up, I don't know what else will. I am not holding my breathe though. This lot look absolutely hopeless. ![]() |
The governor committed a grievous faux pas with such a careless statement. The armed forces is one of the last bastions of this nation's unity and a careless statement like this can sow a seed of discord capable of starting a major crisis. The governor's careless statement is akin to ascribing a relay team's victory to the man who ran the last leg only. Such a team would most likely lose subsequent races. I hope the governor sees the wisdom in issuing an apology and clarifying his statement immediately and for the field Commander to also issue a statement commending his predecessors and assuring the rank and file on ground in Maiduguri of his trust in their ability to deliver and sustain the drive to vanquish boko haram, regardless of tribe or religion. |
Olumaeme:Are you sure you read the article fully? Doesn't strike me like he was abandoned in the true sense of the word given that both parents have consistently tried to reach out to him and involve him in their lives. Seems to me like he his angry with his parents for breaking up having tasted what it feels like having both parents live together by living with his adopted parents. I feel for him and his parents and I hope he opens up and restores his relationship with his parents so he does not regret when he gets older. |
Oh Nigeria! A land where the poor prey on the poor while the rich and powerful smile to the bank. ![]() |
nwabobo:Beyond the usual mass hysteria and the fuss, let me ask a question: Is there anyone of you that has the guts to publicly criticize or call out your employer on mainstream or social media and still retain your job? NTA belongs to the Nigerian government and they set the code of conduct for their staff. If you cannot comply, simply tender your resignation and then you can feel free to criticise as openly and viciously as you want. NTA was conceived and setup purely to act as the mouthpiece of the government, communicating only positive information about the government of the day. It was that way before I was born and will continue to be as long as they exist. That is why no one interested in hearing balanced news tunes in to them. |
This is such a crude thing to do. If the girl stole from you, relieve her of her job or if you want to be extreme, hand her over to the police. Buy uploading the nude video on social media, the madam has broken the Cybercrime law and could get a long jail term. All the young girl needs to do is get a good lawyer to fight her cause. |
SalamRushdie:If the US is giving us this kind of grief over the purchase of a few propeller driven birds, do you think they will be willing to sell us any jet propelled fighters even if we are willing to pay double the market price? However, I agree with you that the prices of these Super Tucanos are grossly inflated even if one works in the cost of training, spare parts and munitions. |
PHILipu1:My sentiments exactly. I keep telling people that if Buhari chooses to run in 2019, Atiku wont win ANY state in the North. Buhari will even defeat Atiku in his ward and the polling unit inside his own compound. Imagine someone her saying that Atiku will defeat Buhari in the Northeast? That is the craziest thing I have heard in a while. I toured that region recently working with the IDPs and I can tell you that Buhari is like a religion in that region. Even Kwankwaso will give Buhari a better challenge in the North than Atiku would. |
