The string of calamity across the nation is obviously been engineered to further some diabolic political agenda....YES!
But that doesn't absolve the President and his government of responsibility for their sluggishness in fishing out these enemies of state and meting out justice to them.
The President's primary responsibility is the protection of the lives of Nigerians...both those who voted for him and those that didn't. As a leader, he must have the foresight and vision to know what remedies are needed, and the courage to take the sometimes painful decision to apply the needed remedies.
On this singular objective, I am afraid the President has failed woefully. |

Every would be bride or groom goes the extra mile to make a good first impression on the inlaws to smoothen the way for further discussions.
It isn't just an African thing, it is so all over the world. Even in ultra liberal societies like the US, u have bride's wearing decent gowns and toning down the loud makeup when it is time to meet the inlaws. You have grooms, doing away with tee shirts and jeans for suits all in a bid to make a good impression.
As a man, I would be wary about a woman who makes an unnecessary fuss about a mere nose ring when she's going to meet my parents. We aren't even married yet and she's already setting me up for unnecessary conflicts with my parents?
She is obviously still immature and not ready for marriage if she does not understand the need to pick her battles carefully. |

awakeupcall4all: The campaign organization of the Ekiti State Deputy Governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka, has called for greater vigilance among voters in the State against agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It claimed they were going round the state buying Voters’ Cards.
The campaign organization said it was alarmed at the report of the arrest of one Miss Ogunyemi Temitope, who led a group of people to Aiyede Ekiti to collect more than 30 voters cards and account numbers from unsuspecting electorates, questioning why the APC was desperate to prevent people from voting on the election day.
Director of Media and Publicity of Kolapo Olusola Campaign Organisation, Lere Olayinka, said in a statement on Thursday, that the said Ogunyemi Temitope was apprehended by vigilant people of Aiyede-Ekiti, Oye Local Government Area at about 12 noon today, Thursday, while collecting voters cards and making copies of same and at the same time collecting account numbers.
Olayinka said; “Today, eagle-eyed people of Aiyede-Ekiti apprehended one Ogunyemi Temitope and her accomplices, who were buying voters card. They were taken to the palace of the Attah of Aiyede Ekiti, Oba Oba Abdumumini Orisagbemi, from where they were moved to the Aiyede Ekiti police station.
“The lady, who claimed to be an election observer, was said to have collected voters cards and account numbers of more than 30 people, promising that N28, 000 will be paid into their bank accounts. She said that buying of voters cards under the guise of election observers was being done across the State that those whose voters cards were collected in exchange for N28, 000 will not be able to vote.
“Some of the cards already collected belonged to Adebiyi Adekunle, with his UBA Account number 2077932145, Omotoso Abiodun, Ajayi Taiwo Amos, Bamidele Funmilayo, Fayose Mary, Ojo Emmanuel Kehinde, Irewole Yinka Motun, Olowokere Titilayo, Ojo Bamidele Oluwaseun and others.
“It later took the intervention of the Attah of Aiyede Ekiti and the Olumojo of Imojo Ekiti, Oba, who visited the police station for Ogunyemi Temitope and her collaborators to be released with strong warning never to come to Aiyede Ekiti and its environs again.
“It should be noted that we have earlier raised the alarm over a Form being distributed by the APC under the guise of Ekiti Development Front, purportedly for empowerment. Politics › Re: Mugshot Of Mukhtar Yero, Nuhu Somo Wya, Abubakar Haruna Gaya, Hamza Ishaq by Reptyle(m): 2:21pm On May 31, 2018 |
ExAngel007: The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Kaduna office, today May 31, 2018 arraigned the former Executive Governor of Kaduna State Mukhtar Ramalan Yero; former Minister of State, Nuhu Somo Wya; former People's Democratic Party, PDP, Kaduna State Chairman, Abubakar Haruna Gaya and the former Secretary to the State Government, Hamza Ishaq.
They were arraigned before Justice S.M Shuaibu of the Federal High Court Kaduna on a Four Count charge bordering on Criminal Conspiracy, Bribery, Money Laundering and Criminal Diversion of Funds to the tune of N7000,000,000 (Seven Hundred Million Naira) only.
They all pleaded not guilty to the charges. Lead prosecution counsel, Joshua Saidi then prayed the Court for a date for commencement of trial, while remanding the accused persons in prison custody.
Lead defence counsel, Yunus Ustaz Usman (SAN) made application for bail orally but Justice Shuaibu refused. The Court ruled that formal applications for bail of the accused must be filed. He therefore adjourned the matter to the 6th of June, 2018 for hearing of bail application. He also ruled that the accused be remanded in prison custody.
Their arraignment followed a petition alleging criminal diversion of One Hundred and Fifteen Million Dollars equivalent to Twenty Three Billion, Two Hundred and Ninety Nine Million, Seven Hundred and Five Thousand Naira (N 23, 299,705,000.00) NNPC missing funds some years ago by the former Minister of Petroleum Resources Mrs Diezani Alison Madueke. The missing sum was later traced to have funded the bribing of officials across the 36 state of the federation for the 2015 presidential election through Fidelity Bank.
Investigations into the case has so far revealed that the over Twenty Billion Naira was wired to some top PDP and INEC officials across the country which was specifically disbursed through various branches of the Fidelity Bank with Kaduna State benefitting over N800 million (Eight Hundred Million Naira) only in two instalments of N700,000,000 and N190,000,000.
The sum was received and acknowledged by Nuhu Somo Waya, Abubakar Gaya Haruna and Hamza Ishaq on behalf of the State for onward sharing to INEC staff spread across the 23 Local Government Areas in Kaduna State.
Count one of the charge reads: "that you, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero (Whilst being the Executive Governor of Kaduna State ), Nuhu Somo Wya (Whilst being a former Minister of the Fedearl Republic of Nigeria), Ishaq Hamza (whilst being the Secretary to the Kaduna State Government) and Abubakar Gaya Haruna (Whilst being the Chairman PDP Kaduna State Chapter), sometime in 2015 in Kaduna within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court (Federal High Court) did conspire amongst yourselves to commit a crime to wit: indirectly taking possession of the of N700, 000, 000 (seven hundred million Naira) which you ought to have known forms part of unlawful activity to wit: bribery and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 18(a)of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011 (as ammended) in 2012 and punishable under Section 15(3) of the Same Act."

There are a lot of those suffixes used to describe God in the Hausa language. It's just like the English word is God. But he can be called God Almighty, God the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, etc. Let me shock you further by letting you know that northern christians answer names like Musa, Abdullahi, Usman, Jubril and even Mohammed. alBHAGDADI: Nice one FFK. I hereby dub you a Crusader.
The Arabic inscription on the Nigeria Army coat of arms is Nasrunminallah. It means ''Victory Comes From God Alone''. Checking closely, you will notice that the word we get as the English word for God in the translation is Allah. Lying Muslims will also tell you that Allah means God or is the Arabic equivalent of the English word God. This is a big lie which I will prove below.
In the Islamic Shahada, which is the words you swear when you want to become a Muslim, which most of you are aware of cos that's what this forum makes you swear before you comment on an Islamic thread, we find the word for God which clearly isn't Allah. Look Below.
The Shahada: There is no god but Allah
In Arabic: La ilaha illallah
The word for god is ilaha. If Muslims lie by saying that allah means god, then the appropriate translation will be 'There is no god but god''. This doesn't make any sense. Hence, the reason why they put the name of their god Allah there. Can you all now see that Allah is not the word for God but the name of a god, the Muslim god?
Why do we have the name of the Muslim god on the chest of our soldiers many of whom are adherents of other faiths? Is Nigeria an Islamic nation? Are the Christians, Atheists, traditionalists who are soldiers in the army now to be called soldiers of Allah?
This must be changed. As a Muslim, before you go on the defensive, ask yourself if it is fair to other faith. What do northern Christians call God? |

However, this Apostle's testimony "get as e be."
I am sure that as a well-traveled gentleman, he knows all scheduled flights are displayed on electronic boards all around the airport, VIP lounges inclusive. It is the duty of all travelers to check the schedule and listen to boarding announcements repeatedly announced over the PA system.
Also as a VIP, I can almost bet he has a retinue of protocol people at his beck and call and has no business worrying about his flight departure time.
Thirdly, I wonder how some ruffians in HIACE buses confessed to being hired to assassinate Apostle and no one heard about it until Apostle's "revelation" during service. What happened to the miscreants? Were they handed over to the police? Were they all set free or silenced?
I think security agencies need to visit the Apostle to get more information so as to prevent this kind of threats in the future. |

jpmoriarti: This shows that lots of people are hurt by the truth DF is preaching. It shows his efforts are not in vain. DF categorically said that if you give him gift or give to the online church and the gift is modest and solved a particular problem for him or the church, he will accept it but their is NO BLESSING attached to it. You only get blessing from God if you give to the poor and needy. But your fraudulent pastors will tell you to give to the church and be blessed. That is the difference. Mary magdalen of the bible and other women helped to support Jesus' ministry but there is no where in the bible they were said to have received blessings for their efforts. Blessing comes when you give to the poor and the widow in the society. Not when you give to any other person. DF makes this abundantly clear. People are in the lookout to see where he fails. That showed that what he is doing is very right There is also no place where it is written in the Bible that Jesus and his apostles went to the bathroom. Following your logic, are we also to assume that they never did just because it wasn't written in the Bible Where in the Bible does it state that you ONLY get blessed for giving to the poor and the widows You better study your Bible for yourself and ask God for understanding as you listen to your "pastor". |

This is the difference between DF and the GO's of today's churches. He doesn't tell them there is no blessing attached to giving gifts because then, he would be lying. Don't try to put the businessmen you call pastors at par with freeze No difference between Freeze and the pastors he criticizes. They preach from the Bible and he preaches from the same Bible. Morwendy: Hi. New here but have read threads for years til now and I just have a simple question to ask . Ok, I know how dim I sound but I married my Nigerian husband 8 years ago. Next week, we apply for his permanent leave to remain here. We've been happy enough since we got married, the usual ups and downs but nothing too serious. Anyway, I found that he has a website advertising a business in Nigeria. Asked him about it and he says yes its his but its not up and running yet (like thats why I was mad at him rather than because he set ghis up without even telling me). I was looking at some photos on his site and I came across a poster laying out the days events for his fathers funeral. At the foot of the poster it says 'by [his name but different surname] on behalf of the family. Now, this new surname is the same as his fathers so I believe it to be his true name. Asked him about it and he says that his surname is different to the rest of his family because he chose to take his paternal grandfathers name. I assume his father should also bear the grandfathers name? He just keeps telling me that I don't understand Nigerian customs/traditions but now the word 'scammed' keeps popping into my head. A simple yes or no would be enough - is it usual for a man to NOT take his fathers name? Thanks in advance. I took my father's first name as my surname after he passed while my siblings still answer the family name, which was my great-granfather's name. Some of my old documents still carry my name with my former surname though I have legal documentation to back the change of name. There are also situations where people take on the name of any of their ancestors...perhaps as a way of immortalising the person or the name. It is really no big deal. Except you have a good reason to doubt your husband, I do not think this is enough reason to put a strain on your marriage. If it will be any help, ask him to show you a legal document that explains the change of name. If that still does not give you some comfort, perhaps you should hire a PI to help you clear your doubts. Good luck. |

I see there are some politicians that are bent on pushing this country into war for their own selfish reasons.
What is worse is the seeming lackadaisical attitude of the federal government towards this daily carnage and loss of lives in that State.
I think the situation in Benue has degenerated badly enough for the declaration of a state of emergency as the situation is obviously beyond the power of the Governor. All he does is "mourn with the people" on a daily basis. He has now become the "Executive Mourner" of Benue State.
The actions so far taken by the FG is far below the capacity expected given the constantly degenerating state of affairs in that State. Sadly, the Senate that is supposed to ginger the President to take action is busy suspending plenary to visit "Suspect Dino" in hospital.
The President needs to wake up and take action to save lives for God sake!!! |

Celebrities › Re: Chimamanda Thinks Like A Backward Clock - Dencia by Reptyle(m): 8:08am On Apr 24, 2018 |
Xisnin: Let us examine this case critically. Chimamanda is an internationally acclaimed writer married with a child. Dencia is a single 40 year old C-list singer with no stable boyfriend nor husband. If we go by her sermon we will conclude that she is a lovely, obedient and well behaved woman who believe in submission to one's husband.
Why is she then a single at 40 while the supposed men-hating feminist, Chimamanda is happily married?
It is either men don't appreciate her or she is a pretender and a horrible person to relate with. I know the latter is more likely the case.
It is instructive to know that most of the women pouring vituperative insults on Chimamanda are single, even on facebook, there are very few negative reactions from married women, perhaps, they know better or have nothing to prove to anyone.
These single women attacking Chimamands are sending a message which is that they are wife material and they don't want someone to spoil their market, it doesn't necessarily mean that they would be better wives than the maligned feminists.
Feminists are sincere women who don't have to pretend to be liked, that is, what you see is who they really are, and their homes are much likely to be peaceful because major issue have been sort out before time.
How about the anti-feminist "wife materials"? You will never know what you are getting from this group, she could be a misandrist or could later hold you by your balls while demanding for a better deal or "respect", something which she was initially against.
Ask those men suffering in their marriage and you find out that they didn't marry feminists, they supposedly marry women who believes that the man is the head of the house, some of them don't even call their husband by his first name and would even condemn feminism if given a chance.
I will prefer a feminist than a pretentious obedient and subservient woman any day any time.
So who is thinking backwards, Chimamanda who thinks professional title should come first on twitter bio or Dencia who allegedly gets irritated by such harmless suggestion? The question is why the fuss over the order in which a woman chooses to write her bio? Is it easy being a wife, mother and grand mother? So if the woman considers those to be "more lofty" achievements for her than all of her professional accomplishments, does that in any way reduce her as someone that upholds feminist ideals? Is there anything wrong with a feminist being a proud wife, a mother and a grandmother and counting those among her accomplishments? Now that I think about it, the last thing that comes to mind when you think of powerful and accomplished women like Hillary Clinton, is that she is someones wife or mother. |
