If this is TRUE then 2face is a bloody son of a b.tch. Coming to toy with the emotions of the people at this trying time is so wrong.
Coming from someone outside the usual thieves, it gave us a reason to believe the veracity of the intent the protest was meant to serve...then this unfortunate development.
2baba just reduced himself to a 2boy. So, we were to march to hells gate with a boy that chickens out from his mum's advice, how unfortunate.

SalomonKane: Let's wait for the DSS to come out with their own cock_ and bull story. They always seem never to run out of them. The writer may not be far from the truth, whether embellished or not. I witnessed one this evening where a policeman was threatening a commercial driver on top of his voice, with his gun cocked that he is going to bring him (driver) down if he doesn't alight from his vehicle. Nigeria is a lawless country where people threaten, maim, kill others as long as they have the means to do so. It is even more worrying when the people that are paid to protect the citizens turn around to kill them. Nigeria is sliding further down the pit with each passing day. For those that are quick to support the actions of security operatives because they have a romance with government, my little advice for you all is to wait until the appointed day when you will have a close shave with them. For me, my experience with them will last for a life time... |

TonyeBarcanista: When making comparison, it is important that you pay attention to details Sir!
PROTEST: [noun proh-test; verb pr uh- test , proh -test] noun an expression or declaration of objection, disapproval, or dissent, often in opposition to something a person is powerless to prevent or avoid: a protest against increased taxation http://www.dictionary.com/browse/protest Meaning, protest is usually Anti-policy or anti-government, while rally is usually pro-cause.
You may say that protests are the negative side of the rally coin, but you can't call rallies to be protests.
Thank you It's like you missed the part where it is alleged that PDP had hijacked the security apparatus of the country, and that the march is to bring salvation. My question now is, are they marching to cheer themselves or against the PDP which makes it a protest? both terms are the same, it's just contextual meaning that makes them appear different |

Politics › Re: Nigerians React Over "I Stand With Buhari" Nationwide Solidarity Rally by ReubenE(m): 11:17pm On Feb 01, 2017 |
Origin: Free money no de town again. That is what the protest is about. Capitalist are making cool profit, but that profit is been undermined by inflation, because as you raise your costs others too will raise theirs.
Its only in Nigeria that people increase prices in a recession and they believe they have made profit. At the end of 2017 analyse the financials of most companies, they will be making more profit but that profit has no value because it has a reduced buying power.
Is that the president's fault ?. He can always enforce a price ceiling on all goods but will you let him.
There is no justification for the increase in goods and commodities in Nigeria today especially for non export items. Why is local rice expensive, why is garri expensive its expensive because they have to match its buying power to what obtains in the market. I cant sell garri for N135 when the things I will use the sales to buy are costlier.
There has to been a general price reduction starting from the dangotes- cement and general foods what are the imports that has made the prices of this goods so high. Because if. I sell mango, I will use the profit to buy spaghetti sugar etc which prices has increased.
We are still import dependent but most of the price increases are for me not totally related to dollar exchange but rather some capitalists trying to cash out from the economy. What are you saying? Politics belongs to the super structure which holds the very framework of society together. Politics is closely followed by Law and Economy (substructure). Therefore, politics plays a major role in the shape and texture of an economy. Don't blame capitalists for trying to maximize profit when clearly there is an opportunity for them to do so. After all, profit maximization is what capitalism is built upon. A responsible government recognises this fact by putting in place a mechanism for checking the exploitative tendencies of the capitalists, that includes stamping out this self inflicted recession. Secondly, you don't fix prices in a capitalist economy, it is not even a solution to the current problem. It is not good for business because no one would want to do business in an environment where prices of their commodities are determined by someone else. Government is solely responsible for this recession. If you don't want ants in your home, then avoid pouring sugar on the floor. Meaning, if you don't want capitalists exploitation, avoid recession. Good evening |

Nigeria may never be better. Dissenting voices are treated as enemies even when the truth is staring at us.
It will interest many to know that, it is those that are suffering that will collect N1000 to stand with this failed government.
Rather than use this opportunity to gain the support and trust of the people, that government is working round the clock to stamp out the current suffering in the land, foolishness is urging them to sponsor a counter protest.

Atheists are always strong mouthed when it comes to christians. Forgetting the fact that being an atheist makes them an opposing force with Muslims as well. The same treatment metted out on christians is what they will have too, so I really don't understand why they see christians as their opponent. Very sad. The Nigerian government has failed her citizens. After so much death and destruction caused by the bombing, the theatre commander who ordered the bombing is still holding sway in his position. What about the chief of army, airforce, are still occupying their positions after their crass display of incompetence.
Mr president on the other hand is very unserious with issues of national importance. Is there hope for this country at all?
Most northerners are also unserious with themselves because of the hate they have for others. The complainant almost made sense until he derailed by trying to draw religion into it. What has christians have to do with the bombing? Is it christians that will force government to fulfil her end of the social contract? Most of the NGOs working in the north to bring relief to the victims of these self inflicted conflicts are financed and operated by christians. They are still blaming others even in the midst of calamity, when such effort is suppose to be directed at solving the problem. ....anyways, it is very difficult for those who hate to see beyond their noses. |

The pastors that visit unknown locations that hotel is needed to help them lay their heads nko? Are they committing sin too? They landlords that build houses for members of the public to rent, do they control what the tenants do inside? Or is that sin too? alBHAGDADI: It's either Sanusi is using the Islamic deceit aka Al taquiya or he simply hasn't read the Quran. Those clerics can never stop preaching HATE in their mosques and madrasah cos it will mean that they will stop following what the Quran orders them to do. See below...
Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"
Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"
Quran (8:39) - "And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah"
Surah 48:29 Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are HARSH against the unbelievers, MERCIFUL among themselves.
Quran (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the CHRISTIANS for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."
Sahih Muslim (2167) - "Allah's Messenger said: Do not greet the Jews and the CHRISTIANS before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads FORCE him to go to the narrowest part of it."
Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".
Quran (8:65) - "O Prophet, exhort the believers to fight..."
Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book (CHRISTIANS), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."
