Sequel to the just concluded elections , I have decided to get out of this country forever. To be sincere i have raised 6 million naira in cash but dont want to invest it here due to unfavorable climate .

Kindly list out 1st world country i can relocate to and the steps to take to achieve it.

Your kind input would forever be appreciated
That is less than USD$20,000 and the average living expense is utilities inc phone calls is USD $300 monthly and when you add gas, rents and feeding without transport depending on what you will be grossing close USD$700 to $1000 each month. If you invest just N2 million out of that six million into broiler farming for the three up coming ceremonies, Easter , Eid el Kabir and Eid El Fitri ( small Sallah and Big Sallah) I am sure you will double that investment with extra profit in the next three to five months.

Think well.

Once it says Buhari has won those two states I don't think I need to listen to the other results because those would show buhari has won already based on this.

Kwara and Adamawa if they are in the bag for buhari is all that would show the end result from all other States

Car Talk › Re: The 2020 Range Rover Velar Svautobiography Is The James Bond Of Suvs by rhames(m): 6:18pm On Feb 08, 2019
AutoReportNG:
Land Rover has revealed the new range-topping variant of its Range Rover Velar SUV, and it's 45 percent more powerful than the current top-of-the-line V-6 Velar P380. The full name of the new model is—take a deep breath—the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition. The model follows in the footsteps of the understated Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic, opting for a sleek, unassuming exterior with a monstrous powertrain under the hood.

To that end, the Velar SVA (we'll call it that for brevity's sake) uses the exact same engine as its larger, more luxurious sibling: a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 making 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. It's the same engine found in a litany of other Jaguar Land Rover products, and Land Rover says it will shoot the Velar SVA to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 170 mph. Both metrics are just a tad slower than the quoted figures for the Jaguar F-Pace SVR, which, yes, also shares the Velar's engine and many of its performance mods.

In addition to the larger engine, the SVA gets larger brakes: 15.5-inch discs in the front, 15.6 inches at the rear. Land Rover says the "innovative designs dissipate heat more effectively," and the calipers are painted red, because red is sporty. The air suspension, steering, eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel-drive system, driving modes, and rear diff all get specific tuning. The active exhaust is lighter than the standard setup and makes the Velar "sound like no other SUV," according to Land Rover; you can briefly hear it for yourself in the video below. The SVA also gets a larger fuel tank (21.7 gallons), something we've complained about on our long-term Velar P250.

Unlike the F-Pace SVR and the Range Rover Sport SVR, which are covered in scoops and wings and vents and flares, the Velar SVA's exterior design has stayed as subtle as possible. It's like James Bond—he's always wearing a gorgeous tailored suit, but he can still kick a lot of ass in it. The SVA has a new front bumper with larger intakes, a different rear diffuser with four square tailpipes, some new 21- and 22-inch wheel designs, and a special metallic color called Satin Byron Blue. The updates are minor, but they do a good job of making the Velar look aggressive while still honoring its stunning minimalist design theme.

There's a knurled-metal finish to the exterior badging, which is carried through to the infotainment and HVAC knobs and the design of the digital gauge cluster. New performance seats are standard, as is a sportier steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles, and additional carbon-fiber trim and some new color combinations are available. Land Rover also makes sure to point out that the Velar's cargo space has been unaffected by the new exhaust system.

The Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition will only be available for one model year—and in limited numbers—and pricing has yet to be announced. We expect the SVA to land somewhere between the $80,985 Jaguar F-Pace SVR and the $114,595 Range Rover Sport SVR; with the Velar P380 R-Dynamic HSE already starting at $75,025, we bet the Velar SVA will be on the higher end of that spectrum. A Land Rover spokesperson said that there are no plans for a super-sporty SVR version of the Velar, so if you want your Velar with V-8 power, get your order in now.

This life is a mystery. I can picture the mother trying to keep the boy away from his father as a kid, a man who did not contribute anything to his welfare. She was the one with him through childhood sicknesses, she did the hard work but now that he's all grown, the young man rebels and decides to search for his dad against her wish sad
The dad will surely reap where he did not sow, he'll turn the guy to a bank where he can withdraw money at will. After a few years the young man will learn the true nature of his father but he won't still severe the relationship. His father will use him until his last breath meanwhile the mum will gradually soften her stance (wetin she go do before?) It always ends this way and the cycle continues.
What if it is the other way round? If the woman was an American woman or a been to, this is what she would have done to hurt the father. She would either sue him for divorce and get custody of the kids or have him deported by the authorities based on a flimsy excuse. Dont pray to go through this experience in life. It hurts deeply. Besides, the African blood will always search out his own in whatever circumstances.
Family › Re: Indian Man To Sue His Parents For Giving Birth To Him Without His Consent by rhames(m): 4:50pm On Feb 08, 2019
massmediang:
Dialogue is always the best option for peace to reign in the world but does that actually apply to relationship between parents and their unborn child? Well, an Indian man is changing that narrative as he is about to sue his parents for giving birth to him without first engaging him in a dialogue and getting his consent before his birth.

The 27-year-old man, Raphael Samuel, from New Delhi, India, is an anti-natalist, a person who believes that people should abstain from procreation because giving birth to sentient beings without asking for their consent is morally wrong.

Samuel doesn’t have anything against children or life itself, he simply believes that a life form which has not given its consent to live should not be brought into the world and thus to be subject to the hardships of life. Because he considers himself a victim of life without “forced life”, the young Indian plans to take his parents to court.

“I want to tell all Indian kids that they don’t owe their parents anything,” Samuel told The Print.
“I love my parents, and we have a great relationship, but they had me for their joy and their pleasure. My life has been amazing, but I don’t see why I should put another life through the rigamarole of school and finding a career, especially when they didn’t ask to exist.”

The 27-year-old runs an anti-natalism Facebook page where he routinely posts anti-procreation messages like “Isn’t forcing a child into this world and forcing it to have a career, kidnapping and slavery?” or “Your parents had you instead of a toy or a dog, you owe them nothing, you are their entertainment”. His page, Nihilanand, only has 431 followers, but Raphael doesn’t seem to bothered about that, after all, we all have to start somewhere.

“Other Indian people must know that it is an option not to have children, and to ask your parents for an explanation as to why they gave birth to you,” Samuel said.

Although still small in number, India’s anti-natalist movement is growing at a steady pace and plans to set up a national-level organisation that works on spreading awareness about child-free living. Their arguments range from ethical ones to easing the strain on Earth’s resources or defying societal pressure.

LasgidiOnline:
The just concluded 2nd Annual Youth Empowerment Summit, South West, Lagos, hosted by Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (YEN), the umbrella body for Nigerian young entrepreneurs in collaboration with Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, was very successful and inspirational.

https://www.lasgidionline.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/YOUNG-ENTREPRENEURS-OF-NIGERIA-YEN-1-1024x683.jpg

The event, which took place few days ago, attracted thousands of youth entrepreneurs from across the Southern part of Nigeria who stormed the Banquet Hall of the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, the venue of the summit.

The epoch making event also had in attendance guest speakers who included Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, ably represented by HRH Muraina Adedinni Asoya of Ile-Isoya Ife, Prof. Pat Utomi Founder Centre for Values in Leadership, Engr. Nnamdi Ezeigbo Founder/CEO SLOT, Onye Mba-Uzoukwu CEO Emel Solar Solutions, Dr.Ola Brown, Founder/CEO Flying Doctors Nigeria, Muna Onuzo Startup Doctor & Founder Gazzelle Academy, Tanwa Ashiru CEO Bulwark Intelligence, Jamie Pajoel CEO Vantage Consulting, Ojikutu Ahmed CEO Pacific Network & Vice President YEN. NAFDAC and Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) were also present at the event to sensitize the youth entrepreneurs during the summit.

It is interesting to know that the 2nd Annual Youth Empowerment Summit is the annual gathering of Nigerian young entrepreneurs and youths at all stages of business development: business leaders, youth entrepreneurs, mentors, budding entrepreneurs, investors, government officials among others, to discuss and x-ray the challenges and proffer solutions to youth entrepreneurship and development in Nigeria, thus demonstrating YEN’s continued efforts and commitment in fostering youth entrepreneurship development and empowerment in Nigeria for sustainable growth and economic development.

https://www.lasgidionline.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/YOUNG-ENTREPRENEURS-OF-NIGERIA-YEN-4-1024x683.jpg

Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (YEN) has a membership base of over nine million three hundred thousand (9.3Million) nationwide including USA and UK and still counting.

Speaking at the event, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife, tasked youths to remain steadfast and focused in their good ventures, saying that the power to change the country for better lies in their hands. “As entrepreneurs we expect you to think and create out something to make Nigeria better” he stressed.

Prof. Pat Utomi who spoke on ‘Beyond Oil’, said Nigeria needs oil to go beyond oil in order to develop. “We need oil to go beyond oil and the oil we need is our creativity and innovative spirit to produce goods and services. So we must extract and showcase our intrinsic oil to get the extrinsic oil which may be in form of wealth or reaching our diverse aspirations in life” he stated.

https://www.lasgidionline.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/YOUNG-ENTREPRENEURS-OF-NIGERIA-YEN-6-1024x683.jpg

Other guest speakers and experts like Nnamdi Ezeigbo, Dr. Ola Brown, Mba-Uzoukwu, Muna Onuzo among others at the event mentored and charged the youths to be more productive, innovative and creative and to use their entrepreneurial skills for national economic development of Nigeria.

During the Summit, Chris Kohol, President Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (YEN), stressed that youth empowerment remains the feasible and viable solution to youth restiveness which had led to major socio- economic and political quagmire in the country. According to him, idleness of the bodies and minds of young people has given rise to increased vices in the country, saying that if the youths are engaged economically and otherwise, it would go a long way in curbing the social ills in the country to the barest minimum. He therefore called on government, captains of industry, investors and other professionals to pull resources together and empower the youths economically if Nigeria must come out its present economic mess.

https://www.lasgidionline.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/YOUNG-ENTREPRENEURS-OF-NIGERIA-YEN-7-1024x566.jpg

He also added that YEN is collaborating with renowned strategists, experts and doyens in the industry to join forces in tackling the present business and other environmental challenges with the aim of training young and budding entrepreneurs on how to navigate and soar in their respective enterprises. “We are out to promote entrepreneurship no matter the socio- economic and political storms, we are keeping our mandate and we are apolitical in our quest to promote economic development through youth engagement in profitable ventures” he added.

According to Mr. Kohol, Kano State is to host the Grand Finale of the 2nd Annual Youth Empowerment Summit slated for 7th February, 2019.

AutoJoshNG:

Whenever you hear the business name ‘Coscharis‘, an automobile giant in Nigeria comes to your mind.

The brain behind Coscharis is Cosmas Maduabuchukwu Maduka. He’s the founder of the famous Coscharis motors we all know today. The company is currently known to be one of the most successful auto parts lease company and major distributor of several brands of luxurious cars.

Let’s sit back, relax and read about how the automobile mogul, Cosmas maduabuchukwu Maduka, started from the scratch to the level he is positioned today.

It all started when this Nnewi-born Cosmas Maduabuchukwu Maduka was just seven years old. The beginning was a very tough one for him; he didn’t get to where he is on a platter of gold.

At the age of four, Cosmas lost his dad which led him to hawking bean cake (akara) in a bid to survive the hardship. As time passed, life became harder for the mother to take care of Cosmas and the other three children of hers. She resolved to withdraw Cosmas from elementary three and then sent him to his maternal uncle in Lagos as an apprentice. He worked with no contractual agreement with his uncle.

His uncle who lived at Ebutte-Metta took Cosmas along with him to work. People around even questioned if the little Cosmas could keep up with learning at such age. He even had to spend his night inside the shop while his uncle went home with the keys. His uncle didn’t have a house of his own then so he stayed with his friend.

At the young age of nine, Cosmas mastered his craft and was seen doing what elderly people were doing. He could then single-handedly travel all the way from Lagos down to Nnewi to make some purchases for his boss. He kept to this pace up till the age of 14 when he was sent to work in some of their branches like Sokoto.

At that age of 14, Cosmas had an issue with his uncle that led to his uncle giving him a N200 to go and find his way. This was a way of punishing him by his uncle. He told his uncle he didn’t deserve such treatment from him but his uncle hardened his heart. He outrightly told his uncle to give him five years and he would be amazed with what will come out of it.

He thereafter set up a company – Maduka Brothers – with his brother for selling spare parts. They later parted ways due to ideological differences and his capital after dissolving the business then was N300.

With this N300, Cosmas started his own business. He bought goods from Lagos and sold them off in Nnewi. His first breakthrough was when he went to Boulous Enterprise to purchase motorcycle spare parts. He stumbles upon a new innovation – motorcycle crash ban – and he bought several of them. He played smart; he removed the address of Boulous from the carton so that people won’t be able to trace the source of his merchandise. It was a swift sale for him; everything was sold that day. This led him to taking a night bus back to Lagos to get more goods. He embarked on this business travel up to four times in a week. It was a boom for him; his capital rose from N300 to N3000.

Cosmas got married at an early age of 19 and he took to the path of importation afterwards with the capital he had. He was face with a very big challenge when he received a wrong consignment. This was a very big problem for him and it ended up landing him in debt. He owed his landlord for months, his shop was locked. Cosmas didn’t just give up, he continued striving, and He believed there was a very bright light at the end of the tunnel.

He believed in dignity in labour which made him start all over again after incurring such loss. He used the scale he got as a wedding gift to make money. How did he do that?

He took the scale to the market and charged everyone that climbed on it 10kobo. He used this scale to build up another business capital. He made a lemonade out of the lemon life threw at him.

When he gathered enough money from his scale business, Cosmas teamed up with one of his friends called David to set up a company they named CosDave. Just like he did with his brother, he parted ways with Dave due to ideological differences and then formed Coscharis.

Coscharis was coined from his name and the name of his wife, Charity. Coscharis is a combination of words.

As a channel to the breakthrough of Coscharis in 1982, Nigerian government granted import licenses to up to ten motor companies of which Coscharis was among. Coscharis continued to expand from that very day up till this day; they now have several subsidiaries.

In 1987, Coscharis ultramodern complex was commissioned at Victoria Island. Coscharis state of art ultramodern sales and showroom in Maza maza, Lagos, was also commissioned by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar In 2000. He was then the Vice President of Nigeria.

Coscharis secured in 2015 the right of being the sole distributor of the BMW car brand in Nigeria. It is also the first company in Nigerian to build an assembly plant for Ford Ranger.

Cosmas is gifted with five children of whom his eldest son is 32 years old.

I remember him more for bringing Range Rover and BMW to Nigeria without providing adequate training for his service team: which led to massive dumping of both brands by the Nigerian police force until people like sooperescue and n others saved the day.

Politics › Re: History Will Punish Obasanjo For Ceding Bakassi To Cameroon—oshiomhole by rhames(m): 12:23pm On Feb 01, 2019

Ada Wodu, Calabar

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has said history will punish former President Olusegun Obasanjo for ceding Bakassi to Cameroon.

He said this while addressing party supporters during the APC’s presidential campaign rally in Calabar on Wednesday. President Muhammadu Buhari was on the occasion.

Oshiomhole said the people of Cross River State should “never forget Obasanjo because he handed over Nigeria to Cameroon because he wanted to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
Nigeria can never forgive him. History will punish him if we are too weak to punish him.

“He separated fathers from mothers, brothers from sisters. The Nobel Peace Prize is not given to traitors.”

Buhari said, “Those within and outside the country who have honestly assessed our administration can attest to the fact that our administration has done well. We have also improved security in the North-East and the anti-corruption fight is ongoing.

“Our economy has been improving since 2018. The government has helped farmers with soft loans. We are working hard to make the country better.”

The President presented the party’s flag to the APC governorship candidate in the state Senator John Owan-Enoh.

Owan-Enoh said, “Buhari will win. The revolution that started in 2015 will berth in Cross River in 2019. The hunger for change is very palpable in Cross River. Cross Riverians expect that change.”

The acting chairman of the party in the state John Ochala called on Buhari to caution the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Usani Usani, claiming he was causing distraction for the party in the state.

He also said there was poor governance in the state, with the collapse of the local government system, relocation of investors from the state, phantom projects, plundering of forest resources in the guise of constructing super highway

He added, “Our people are clamouring for change, which the APC governorship candidate Senator John Owan-Enoh and his running mate, Ekpo Okon will provide.”

Can this baboon tell us how he was able to acquire a mobile phone and build a house in a choice area while claiming to represent and lead a blinded, deaf and dumb labour union to protest fuel hikes as NLC president?
