I can't believe people will come out and criticize this wonderfull write up. Some can only see the name while some focused on his age. He gave specifics that are true and most of the replies fail to recognise that in the post All what the poster wrote are true and if you are too young to understand please don't just comment It is so sad that Nairaland has turned into a site for immature minds |

A girl wrote me a love love letter in primary5. She even undelined an wrote in red ink ''I love you''. I barely even talk to girls at school then but I kept the letter in my bag tlll my mum found it. I was beaten till I could not shed tears and yell no more. I hated my mum and dad then. Up till today I didn't know what my crime was. That event had shaped my life about mixing with the opposite sex till today. Not confident of taking her home as an adult. I have made adjustments but sub-conciously it still there. @Dayokanu, I feel you bro. I can relate to all your stories. Unfortunately for me, my mum and dad were mean. I am a twin(First born too) but I get the funny feeling that they hate me amongst my siblings. What made it worse is we are fraternal twins. The only thing that kept me holding on was the pictures of us as babies and at different stages of growing up. I barely talk because I don't want to make mistakes and get punished. My dad is a teacher too and mum works as a bursar. Now, I am not close either even when they try to be friendly. We can hardly hold a phone conversation for a minute. Deep down I love them so much, but I can not show it by words. Just meeting some basic financial obligation of theirs now does it for me. |
Hi all, Poster wants the 10 greatest Nigerian women of all time NOT 10 greatest of our time. Dora, Odukoya and co shouldn't be on the list. I know some may ask 'where is your list?'. Sorry, I don't know the 10 greatest Nigerian women of all time. Some have actually tried to come up with intelligent responses. Fumilayo Ransom Kuti etc are more like it. Not Athletes, pastors and political jobbers. |
All calls can be traced by telecoms operators, they just don't do it cos it is illegal. It won't cost anything extra. |
The technology to trace calls already exits on every gsm coy network. Every call can be traced in Nigeria or anywhere. The police are just blaming the wrong people. If you want a call or number traced you need a permission from a court or police(not sure which one). Telecoms coy have a responsiblity of not giving out such info unless under special conditions which Kiddaping cases should be one of them. I have asked myself how criminals use gsm numbers to commit crime without being caught. Nigerian police is just a useless institution. |
Those that hated it, believe me, it was not prepared the right way for you. The guy that said it is for the poor, how much does custard cost that you are coming here to form. If pap makes you feel sleepy, custard will too. Those that said it looks gross probably have eaten worse meals because it is foreign Pap is good with any of moi moi, bean cakes(akara), beans, even bread. |

The truth is a larger number of married couples have cheated on their partner compared to those that haven't yet. It has always being like that. If our great grand parents were today, they will probably say they asked the same questions during their time. Forget technology and fashion, it has always being like this. Deep down, man is polygamus by nature. |
Why do I get this feeling that too many people are lonely Naija, hence we hold on to unhealthy relationships. @ POST Why do you want her back? And when will men start being men and stop coming to the net to tell stories like ladies. Enough guys! |

@ All Please strip yourself off your religion first then read the Bible and apply a little bit of understanding and you will understand Ogajim and Tudor. I know a lot off people will say religion guides them always; but all I am asking is be a person first. |

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Work for your own money and take care of your self first. Nothing sounds more selfish than looking up to your partner to take care of you. Even if some guys claim it is ok or some women believe part of what comes with having a partner is for them to part with their money occassionaly, believe me you will never find true happiness and fufillment in life. If you are woman and it makes you happy your husband does everything for you now financialy, the moment he goes broke, it will eventually dawn on you that you may have to re-evaluate what you actually feel for him. It is sad that these days, with all the women equality campaign, all some ladies bring into a relationship is intimacy, virginity or just being female. Guys will always put a monetary value on it if thats all you got. Their are guys too that dressess up, looking good and hansome and think thats all thats is required to get ladies to do things for them. Thats just not right. WORK FOR YOUR MONEY & TAKE CARE OF YOUrSELF FIRST, THEN YOU CAN TRULY SAY YOU BRING SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE YOUR PARTNER HAPPY. Otherwise, just remain single. |
The moment a team can't compete and win trophies the revenue everyone is talking about will start to shrink. Not winning any kind of trophy in six years is not good no matter what argument Arsenal fans put forward.I am beginning to think Arsene Wenger has the easiest coaching job in he world because he doesn't have to win anything. We can all continue to talk about youth policy but sincerely speaking the most important players for MAN U last season are all young(Ronaldo, Roonet, Evra, Vidic etc). Some of the so called youth in Arsenal have reached their peak. The earlier you start the quicker you get there. So expect the Diaby's, Clichy, Walcot, Bentner, Nasri , Denilson to show nothing new next season. Song is probabaly the most improved player on that team. We also have to put into consideration that some of them have palyed three seasons already in the premiership. If they are not good enough in 3 seasons they won't be good enough in 10. A lot of ok players have been available to him but he has failed to act. If Fabregas leaves next season there is an already made excuse for not winning, and mark my words, they won't win anything next season if they don't buy palyers. The Arsenal playing style is great, all he needs are hungry players in mid twenties that can deliver. They are all over the French, Belgian and even portugese league. The amazing thing is he doesn't need to buy 7 or 8 players. I feel a good striker, a creative midfielder and two good defenders will do.Of all the teams that are in the top six this season, which one will Bentner play that many games for even if they have injury crisis? NONE. Arsene Wenger needs not be sacked. He is just sturbon. |

I have read several posts on cheating on Nairaland and everytime someone raises the topic some people come out to kick against this reality among us. Yes, not all men and women cheat, but beleive me the chances that it is going to happen to you is very, very high. If you catch your spouse cheating? What better way to punish the person than to leave quietly after the discovery. If they still have a little conscience, he/she will come begging. What you do afterwards is up to you. If they don't come begging , don't bother asking yourself why. Realy it is a no win situation if you deeply care for them. As for me, IT IS OVER. The image can't be erased from my mind lai lai. |
Ajanlekoko & Hayo understand the Nigerian telecoms environment. There are a lot of hidden challenges that only Nigerians understand. I am not sure relocating the NOC will make much of a difference in cutting costs. |
If your man has not cheated on you or he has not been caught, you are indeed lucky. This issue realy is beyond us( humans) and I strongly believe it has come to stay. Our great grand parents asked the same question and the next generation will also continue to wonder why. I am not in support of cheating but as I grow older and begin to face and accept reality I wonder why: 1. We have more women than men in the world? 2. We preach monogamy but ladies willingly follow married men that care for them? 3. Naturaly God made men visually stimulated and women emotionally stimulated? 4. Men want sex more often than women under normall situation? 5. What we call cheating or multiple partners is common in all animals but only man try to balance things up through monogamy? 6. Men remain sexually active throughout his liftime but ladies crave for sex deteriorate seriously with age? 7. Men can have sex with no emotions at all attached? We can ask a thousand and one question but the ans is starring us right in the face. Naturally, I seriously feel man is not made to stay with one woman. Those that did made serious uncomfortable sacrifices and on their death bed if they were ask if there is one thing they would miss in the world. I'm sure all would say: I WISH I HAD S3X WITH MORE WOMEN. |

@MrBrownJay Thanks for editing d post. |
Quite interesting! A man stays in a relationship for 8yrs. There has been ups and downs but they have managed to wither the storm togerther to cap it all, he never cheats on you or hasn't been caought yet. Unless you have some kind of leverage over this man, he realy wants to be with you. Damn! some marriages are not even that good or lasts that long. Why mend it if it is not broken? Marriage is just like an official stamp, it does not guarantee anything. I guess you are probably bringing this marriage issue more often to a man that has stayed comitted to only you, that's why you got those replies from him. All those that are telling you to leave him may not be as happy as you are in their own relationship, married or not. Did everyone that craved marriage to cement a good relatioship become happier or all of a sudden, or the relationship just became fantastic immediately afterwards. Most times the answer in NO. If he is ready to have kids and it is with you if you want one then case closed. Enjoy your life! |
Anyone can make a mill dollars, but true luz, I sincerely think you only get one chance. True luv it is |
The post contains good info nomatter how each individual choose to respond to it. Jobless people will probably call him names and think he is ungratefull. Those with jobs or related issues may understand, while majority will respond based on what is happening around them. @ post. Your career plan for the future is what is most important and not what is happening to you now. If your current position will play a prominent role in letting you actuallise this plan, forget about the pay and try developing yourself. If not maybe you should move on. |
Yes, I have. |
I am suprised people will come and rant about best university on the web. The most important thing is what you contribute to the society after graduating. Your grade or school amount to nothing if you can not contibute positive to the society. Nobody goes to school or get a grade for braging sake. Look closely around you and you will find a lot of people have made the best out of the so called poor schools and some haven't made themselves anything by attending the so called great schools. What are you contributing right now? |
It amazes me how people come out to attack posters on NL even when they claim they 've a better understanding of the topic or how it should be put across. Only a few few people gave proper response to the topic. We have a winner in DEBOSKY response. |
@Tai, I'm impressed. Forget all the argument, those that realy understand(male/female) knows it is the TRUTH. |
