I am surprised at some of the replies to this thread. If you read Adokie's column every sunday in the pucnh you will understand why he wrote the piece.
After all the media circus concerning MRI before the tournament, it is sad that Nigeria will still go ahead and field overage players. There are genuine under 17's in Niaja that can win. Messi, Rooney and Ronaldo were in this age range when they were known. How many of our so called "great" players at under 17 become great players 4yrs down the line.
We should all bury our heads in shame because this is exactly why nothing works in all facets of our country. Media charade(EFCC, Probe & Committees) but coruption still goes on at all levels.

Essien is better.Mikel is already playing the best football of his career and not at Essien's level.
Most athlete get to the top of their game between 23yrs-26yrs and I strogly believe Mikel is in that range already.

MTN do call people that apply online. What most people don't do is tailor their cv to meet the requirements specified. Also experience counts, as they rarely employ fresh graduates except in very few instances and units. Try to get relevant experience(even a few months), re-adjust your cv and you will be called. They also don't discriminate against age.
If you pass the test, you will also be called for interview and if you demostrate during the interview you know the job and exhibits the MTN core values the job is yours.
It worked for me, two of my friends where also invited for tests using this method. I hope it works for you aswell. Best of luck.

If what Stephany said is true, then shame on ZAIN. I have seen the programme, though I feel they shloud have allowed more Naija songs. Mind you, not the hiphop craze that are all over now. There were some great songs in the 80's made in Naija and some currents ones ain't bad either. Foreign songs are too many on the show.

Due to the nature of my job, I have had reasons to visit different states in the last five years. I spent all my school days in Ilorin( Primary to University level), and my holidays throughout this period had always been in Lagos.

These two governors are probably going to come first and second in Nigeria based on acheivement.
If you have lived in Ilorin before the 80's through 90's, you will completely agree with me that the state capital had withnessed more infastrutural development, more than any other regime in recent times. Through Fashola, Lagos has been turned into one big construction site.

Lagos is smaller with more people and huge IGR(Internally generated revenue), Kwara has fewer people with way smaller IGR. But based on what these two has acheived it is a shame that anyone will bad mouth either, because compared to anyother governor in the fedration they are the best.

A close friend of mine was called last year and he did so well in the screening process, after been selected, the NBC officials came and removed him because they feel if he gets on the show he may not play along with the script.

I wrote the test on the 19th, passed and I have not been called. I was in the 11.30am group. There was a friend in the same group that has not been called. I want to believe Virgin will not just call some and discard the others. I am positive that whenever they are ready I will be called.

I think the European championship is it. You can't look at just one or two fantastic matches in a major tournament to judge the tournament. Better tactics, element of suprise, tight games till the final whistle makes the Euros a better tournament to watch.Because you can see this in almost all the games. When teams like Denmark, Greece and I think belgium can come and suprise you, then it is good. The same teams have played more finals in the world cup(Brasil, Italy, Germany, Argentina).

Mind you there may be a little suprise at the world cup, but some teams have gone far because of favorable draws not good football. There is no hiding place at the Euros.

The above statement is the only truthfull statement so far. The guy did not leave her because she had a relationship with another guy in school. The best sports programmes presenter for me is Godwin Enakaya(hope I got the name right). He delivers the programme smartly.

I completely agree with the poster. For those saying they revolutionalised the music industry in Naija,yes they are right. But the topic says 'KENNY AND D1 BORING', so your reply should be to the post and not comment on how successful they are.

Those guys are not only boring but childish.I stopped watching them like 8yrs ago. They are not professionals at all. Anyone that have seen quality TV presenters should not even give any props to these guys. I was quite suprised when I read some posts saying they are good.

The kind of programme you present should determine your carriage. Music goes with a lot of things (Sports, Fashion, Movies etc). It is the youths that are interested in these things the most. I think presenters of musical programmes should be young. Even the guy that does unleash the 80's on STV looks young to me or more matured.

To all Arsenal fans: You can not get a different result if you keep using the same method. Arsenal have always recruited young untested players and not all of them will become great or world class. I think Wenger has got the easiest coaching job in the world because he is the only coach that manages a club that big that does not have to win anything. If not, why didn't he buy a good striker and another midfielder and a winger to strengthen his team?

Arsenal won't win anything this year with this team.They won't win anything next year if they use the same method. Good football yes, with result Better.

My sugggestions
1)Get at least two world class strikers like Torres, Adaebayor is not world class
2)Fabregas needs back up.He plays to many games.
3)Eboue is not a winger or a midfielder. Not quick, not skilled and can not score,send him back to defend or sell him.
4) Teo Walcot, Benthner, Diaby etc are not big time and would never be. These are just some of the problems in key areas of the team.

Dump the girl and don't listen to any form of explanation. Stay away from that brother of yours for the rest of your life.If he has an opportunity to kill you for his own selfish reasons he will. MOVE ON!

Let me say congrats fro making it this far.This may be the final interview for you. The interview is just going to test your confidence level by how you respond to questions. Know a few things about what the job you appied for entails. Finally know some suffs about the airline.

By now I believe you must have gone for the interview or IT test. Please I will like to know if you wrote your test on the 19th and what was the time of the group you belonged? What did you also apply for?
I wrote mine on that day(11.30am) and I have not been called but I passed.

I also wrote the test on the 19th of jan and passed. I have not taken part in their recruitment before, but I have friends that have gone through it and made it last year.

If you apply for ticketing officer, customer care etc you will have to pass the skills test before interview. Cabin crew may not be asked to go through that stage but things change. Just be confident and the job is yours. I pray they call others soon

VirginNA is not a fiasco, I know people working there that knows no one. Most of the people that were called droped there CV as far back as march last year while some also just applied.I believe they have a data base of CV'S out of which they invite people from time to time. You can drop yours on time cos they may call for tests again in the next 3 months. They are expanding and just ordered for 24 new jets. I believe they have one of the most transparent recruitment process in Naija.

I wrote the test and my name was called among those that passed immediately after.We were told that we will be called for interview in two weeks. I have not recieved any congratulatory or invitation for the next stage so far.
