I thought as much!
The last on I bought ( currently in my refrigerator) is so stale and no matter how many cubes I put in my tea or garri it has no sweetening effect at all.
Been wondering if it was fake and this just confirms it.

See what the movies have done.

@OP,
You already have the best gift for her in one of your responses.

Why don't you go to her place of work, look her straight in the eyes and tell her how important she is and how you appreciate so much how she stood with you through thick and thin (please mean it when you say it)

You should be ashamed of yourself for the stupid quote below. Are you trying to justify killings by Boko haram. I bet you have not even stepped outside Nigeria before. If you care so much about the people of those countries in your quote, why not travel down there and fight the enemies.
Your religiousity is a complete waste if you justify killing innocent people.

If you feel Christians have killed people unjustly in those countries, are you now saying killing people that know nothing and have no direct contributions to it must pay for it.

It is people like you that make the uninformed Christians call all Muslims Boko haram.

Nairaland General › Re: Lagosians Feel They Can Outsmart Everyone by rman: 5:58pm On Feb 28, 2012
I remembered when I was still young and my cousins think you must be dumb if you didn't grow up in Lagos
They later realised me and my siblings that attended schools outside Lagos are way smarter (common entrance waec and general decision making later proves this).

Lying, taking your parents money, stealing friends games, having boyfriends and girlfriends , cheating in exams, inflating school fees, entering buses and not paying etc are not sign of smartness. Real smart people Know what they want in life and how to get it legitimately.

Another funny thing about Lagosians is the wrong impression that it is the only beautiful place in Naija. The conditions under which most Lagosians live is to tally inhuman. Jos, Kaduna, Calabar, Enugu, Uyo, Ilorin are beautiful places with better living conditions than Lagos.

Lagos is a fast paced environment that keeps you on alert all the time. Thats good but it doesnt equate to being SMART

Nothing says 419 more than a woman that has not made a million dollars all her life, that now thinks she is entitled to $20million all because she had children for a man in marriage.

All the ladies defending this online are thieves and lazy.

The money the man is offering her is way above average of what she needs to live.

Another BB hate thread. A lot of people need to grow up. All I see from all these BB hate threads are people that are very poor at socializing, so they paint everything they don't agree with as bad.

Why can't people just live their lives and let others live with the choices they make.

For every BB hate l thread I see, the message I get is some people trying to feel good about the phone they use but they can only get that feeling if they are convinced in their twisted mind that majority are wrong by not making the same choice as theirs.

We should also stop all these BB and girls stuff. The phone is popular with both gender in Nigeria. And for every girl that has gone out of her way to get one, there are equal number of boys that have gone out their way to get one too.

We should just mind our own business.

Sports › Re: Jeremy Lin Or Hakeem Olajuwon by rman: 5:49pm On Feb 20, 2012
Anyone that understands basketball just a little will never ever ask such a stupid question.
Jeremy Lin is not one of the best 15 pgs in the NBA right now and will never be top 200 to ever play basketball.
His story is good and seems great but we should not get ahead of ourselves.

Hakeem is the most skilled centre to ever play basketball and like someone rightly pointed out, he is one of the top 10 players to ever play basketball. There is a stat that no other player except Hakeem has had in a single game in basketball, it is called the QUADRIPLE DOUBLE. Only Hakeem has ever achived this feat

Jermey who? Abeg abeg abeg!!!

For those saying the roads I listed are fedral roads, are they claiming all the roads in Osun are fedral roads. One of the major telecoms operator has embarked on rural telephony project since last year and I have been to almost all the remote locations as a telecoms engr.

To list a fee again, are the roads leading to these places fedral roads? Please educate me.

Illiterates talking bull on here. If he needed money to recoup his election cost, he doesnt need to go thru this ordeal. Just collaborate with the oil importers and get kick backs. Or better still bring in his boys to join the oil cabal and do the normal over invoicing thing. Why go thru all this stress and receive so much insults for something that simple? Otedola and Co. would have been more than willing to play ball. I guess your fish brain didnt consider that eh?
This quote is not in support of the GEJ, it is actually doing more damage because you are indirectly saying all the allegations are true and he still would not do anything

vizion:
Mr Bakare says Nigeria consumes approximately 34million litres of pms in a day and is asking how come we have such a bloated amount of subsidy.

was he deaf when the president, CBN governor, and minister of defence said that the subsidy must be removed because the amount of pms the importers invoice for is over bloated and the only way government can checkmate it is by subsidy removal.

if  this man can not hear the voice of men clearly, how are we sure he can understand God when God speaks ?

We can continue to cry about corupt leaders all we want. what about followers like the quote above. I ve read most of the analysis on this site on the subsidy issue and I feel like crying when someone still come up with a response like the above to a simple, and logical analysis provided by the pastor using governments own figures.

Family › Re: 5 Things Every Extrovert Should Know About Introverts by rman: 12:23am On Jan 03, 2012
Deemain, you raised some serious points in your post below. I can relate personaly to all the traits u explained
Will u please explain the possible solution for someone that exhibits almost all the traits u described below?

DeeMain:
@Jonex70, you belong to the extreme part of the introversion continuum which I say have serious issues that need to be dealt with (see my earlier post in this thread). From the bolded part of your statement, what u describe is textbook low self-esteem for the introverted personality. Your self-image ( the image you have of yourself) is probably poor. You probably dao not value yourself much. My guess is that you come from a dysfunctional home or that you had bad experiences in your childhood or adolescence that conditioned you that way. How was your relationship between you and your parents? What was your upbringing like? From the answers you give to these, u will find the root cause of your self-image issues. You do not love yourself enough to take care of yourself but feel compelled to take care of others. You cannot give what u do not have. To give love, u must have it in yourself in abundance.

Playing the martyr, by sacrificing your needs and desires in order to satisfy others is a recipe for a lot of pain and frustration in the long term,   Secondly, you seem to have a rigid boundary, not wanting anybody to invade your privacy is symptomatic of self-image issues. Normal people have boundaries that are a bit flexible,  I'll need a feedback from u on my comment before I can proffer solutions.

Brillaint topic from Kobo.
I ve actually read a book " WHY YOU ACT THE WAY YOU DO" by Tim Lahe.

I am an introvert too but I am not really suprised at the few people coming out to say they are introverted.
I ve read the comments (regularly) of some of the frequent posters on this forum and I can say confidently that most of the
intelligent posters on this forum are introverts

Yes o! NBA is back finally.
Teams to watch out for in the east:
Miami Heat
Chicago bulls and
Boston Celtics. ( The Newyork knicks are still not close to these teams yet)

Teams to watch out for in the west:
Okalahoma city thunders and
Mephis grizzles

Unless lakers get a point guard and if Dwight goes there, they wont win the west. Clippers will be good but they wont be able to match OKC. I expect OKC and Miami or Bulls to Dominate the conferences in the short regular season

I will rather support a government that keeps building infastructures that will benifit the masses in long run(ACN), than a party that keeps spending money, embezzling, and still there is nothing to show(PDP).

In the so called developed countries, politicians and people that have political interest own majority of the big companies operating in their society.

Politics › Re: Why Fuel Subsidy Must Go Now, By Jonathan by rman: 3:35am On Dec 18, 2011
Everytime some people come to use smuggling as part of their argument to defend subsidy removal, I say to myself, " Here comes another big fool!".
One of the fundamental funtions of any government is to secure the boarders, if they have failed at that, they have no bussiness being in government.
